Abstract

This study examines the optimization of Instagram features as a digital marketing strategy for Bersama Outdoor Rent, an SME operating in the outdoor equipment rental and adventure service sector. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation of the Instagram account, and analysis of supporting documentation. The findings reveal that Instagram features are utilized unevenly; Feed posts and Direct Messages are optimized effectively for visual branding and transactional communication, while other features such as Stories, Highlights, hashtags, and especially Reels remain underutilized. The lack of structured content planning, irregular updates, and limited analytics-based evaluation hinder the business from achieving broader reach and higher engagement. These results highlight that effective digital marketing on Instagram requires strategic planning, systematic feature integration, and consistent performance monitoring. The study provides practical insights for SMEs seeking to maximize Instagram’s potential as a primary digital marketing platform.

Abstract

This study evaluates the role of business policy in sustaining competitive advantage within the manufacturing industry by examining three key strategic dimensions: Policy Design, Policy Implementation, and Innovation & Sustainability. Using a quantitative approach and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the study collected data from 120 manufacturing employees and assessed the measurement and structural models through reliability testing, validity assessments, and bootstrapping procedures. The results indicate that all constructs demonstrated strong reliability and validity, with indicator loadings exceeding recommended thresholds and HTMT values confirming discriminant validity. Structural model analysis reveals that Policy Design, Policy Implementation, and Innovation & Sustainability each have significant positive effects on Sustained Competitive Advantage, collectively explaining 67.3% of its variance. These findings highlight the importance of strategic alignment, effective execution, and continuous innovation in building long-term competitiveness. The study contributes to strategic management literature by providing empirical evidence on how business policy frameworks and innovation-driven practices jointly enhance competitiveness in the manufacturing sector. Practical implications suggest that firms should prioritize coherent policy development, strengthen implementation mechanisms, and integrate sustainability into innovation strategies to achieve durable competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of entrepreneurial orientation, market sensing, and dynamic capabilities on competitive advantage in firms operating within dynamic and highly competitive industries. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from managerial-level respondents through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that all three constructs significantly and positively affect competitive advantage, with dynamic capabilities demonstrating the strongest influence, followed by entrepreneurial orientation and market sensing. These findings indicate that competitive advantage stems not only from proactive and innovative strategic orientation but also from the firm’s ability to interpret market signals and continually reconfigure internal resources to adapt to environmental shifts. The study contributes to strategic management literature by highlighting the integrative role of entrepreneurial behavior, environmental intelligence, and organizational adaptability in shaping competitive outcomes. Practical implications suggest that managers should cultivate a balanced approach that enhances strategic posture, strengthens market-driven decision-making processes, and builds robust dynamic capabilities to sustain superior performance.

Abstract

Tourism areas have great potential in improving the regional economy, especially when integrated with the creative economy sector. The creative economy, which relies on ideas, creativity and innovation, plays an important role in tourism development, not only to increase tourist attraction but also to create sustainable economic opportunities for local communities. This research aims to explore the role of the creative economy sector in improving community welfare in tourism areas, with a focus on local creative products such as handicrafts, performing arts, culinary, and design. The creative economy can reduce dependence on the seasonal tourism sector and enrich the tourist experience, while creating business opportunities and improving the skills of local communities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach in Indonesian tourism regions, such as Bali, Yogyakarta, and Labuan Bajo, which have great potential in this sector. Through interviews, focus group discussions, and observations, the research identified key challenges such as limited capital, market access, and adequate infrastructure. The findings of this study are expected to provide recommendations for the development of policies that support the creative economy sector, in order to create an inclusive and sustainable economy for local communities, and improve the competitiveness of tourism areas

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of influence of service quality and product price, both partially and simultaneously, on consumer repurchase intention at Lazatto Chicken & Burger, Pongtiku Branch, Makassar City. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 81 respondents. This study used non-probability sampling with an accidental sampling technique. Data analysis used classical assumption tests with normality tests, hypothesis tests with multiple linear regression, and coefficient of determination tests, using SPSS version 27.0 software. The results showed that service quality and product price had a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, both partially and simultaneously. These findings confirm that improving service and pricing in line with customer perceptions of value are important factors in building consumer loyalty in the fast food restaurant sector. The R-squared value was 0.520, meaning that 52% of the variation in repurchase intention is explained by service quality and product price. The remaining 42% is explained by variables other than the two independent variables used in the study.

Abstract

Usaha mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung perekonomian lokal, termasuk usaha rumah tangga pengolahan abon telur di Kabupaten Bone. Mitra kegiatan ini menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan pemasaran yang hanya mengandalkan WhatsApp story, belum adanya pencatatan keuangan, serta lemahnya legalitas dan branding produk. Program pemberdayaan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas mitra melalui pemanfaatan e-commerce, pelatihan manajemen usaha, pengembangan desain kemasan, serta pendampingan pengurusan legalitas usaha. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan mitra mengoperasikan e-commerce, pembukuan keuangan sederhana, pengemasan produk, serta pengurusan legalitas. Kegiatan ini mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) terutama tujuan 8 (Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi) dan tujuan 9 (Inovasi dan Infrastruktur). Dengan demikian, program ini mampu meningkatkan daya saing UMKM lokal, memberdayakan perempuan, serta memperkuat ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh kualitas layanan dan kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada Rumah Makan Buguri di Kota Makassar. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terhadap 100 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik accidental sampling, yaitu konsumen yang telah berkunjung dan makan di tempat minimal tiga kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan dan kualitas produk secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Secara parsial, kualitas layanan memiliki pengaruh paling dominan dibandingkan kualitas produk, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien regresi yang lebih tinggi. Secara simultan, kedua variabel mampu menjelaskan 74,7% variasi kepuasan konsumen, yang menunjukkan kuatnya kontribusi faktor layanan dan produk dalam membentuk pengalaman konsumsi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa dalam industri kuliner yang kompetitif, peningkatan kualitas layanan dan konsistensi kualitas produk merupakan faktor kunci dalam menciptakan kepuasan konsumen. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi empiris bagi pengembangan strategi pemasaran berbasis kualitas guna meningkatkan daya saing usaha kuliner di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

Women's Economic Empowerment is crucial in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals. One aspect of women's economic empowerment that has been widely studied is women's involvement in entrepreneurial activities. Women have great potential to develop businesses. However, they often face barriers such as a lack of management education, access to capital, building business networks, and the persistence of community understanding that causes gender discrimination that women are not obliged to earn a living. This assumption can be an obstacle to the growth of the nation's economy. One of the efforts to overcome this is to educate the community on the importance of women's economic empowerment through Entrepreneurship Education. The purpose of entrepreneurship education for women is to encourage the national economy and improve family welfare. Economically empowered women can play a positive role in meeting personal needs, family and social activities.

Abstract

Innovation in the cosmetic industry also focuses on the importance of low-cost, domestic, and high-quality products. Beras, such as a local food in Indonesia, contain many nutrients that promote healthy skin, such as vitamin E, dietary fiber, and antioxidants. Penelitian this is a vital choice of products lulur basis as an alternative cosmetic ingredient that has potential. A method of mixing the extraction process and adjusting the yield from beberapa local varieties, which is then formulated with basic flavors such as madu, minyak olive, and various herbal extracts. Uji laboratory and uji application menusjukkan bahwa lulur berbahan dasar beras mampu mengangkat cell kulit mati, melembapkan kulit, serta meningkatkan kecerahan alami kulit. For example, this formula does not cause irritation and sesuai for most types of skin. Pengembangan lulur berbahan dasar beras juga memberikan nilai tambah bagi sektor pertanian local and mendukung concept economy works. This innovation is also based on the cosmetics industry to create products based on sumber daya local that resembles daya saing global. With that, beras not only serve as a meal, but also as a home in products that are cheap and effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak kegiatan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Pendidikan Kewirausahaan yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24-25 Agustus 2024 di Kota Pare-Pare, Sulawesi Selatan. Fokus utama dari kegiatan ini adalah pengembangan kapasitas pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) melalui pelatihan yang meliputi manajemen usaha, strategi pemasaran, dan inovasi produk. Metode evaluasi yang diterapkan mencakup pengukuran keterlibatan peserta serta perubahan pemahaman dan keterampilan kewirausahaan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan melalui kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan kewirausahaan peserta, serta pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai pengelolaan usaha yang berkelanjutan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya pendidikan kewirausahaan dalam memberdayakan pelaku UMKM dan merekomendasikan perlunya program pendampingan serta kolaborasi yang lebih erat antara pemerintah, akademisi, dan sektor UMKM untuk pengembangan berkelanjutan.
