Abstract

Examining the issues, developments, and adjustments that the Islamic educational system has made in response to shifting times, global dynamics, and technological breakthroughs is the aim of this research.  Data was gathered using a qualitative approach using the library research method, including literature, policy papers, and prior study findings.  The results of the theme analysis demonstrate that the Islamic education system faces a variety of issues, both global and national.  These problems include the industrial revolution, government regulations, disjointed learning methodologies, and the expectations of 21st-century competence performance. At the national level, the low accreditation and recognition of religious educational institutions is also major obstacle. As a result, several innovations have been developed, including interactive teaching techniques, the adaptable curriculum that combines contemporary science with Islamic ideals, and the use of digital technology in the classroom. In addition, the Islamic education system also shows efforts to adapt to the times through the transformation of educational orientation, the adoption of 21st-century methods, and the integration of intra-, co-, and extra-curricular learning. These findings show that despite facing complex challenges, the Islamic education system in Indonesia has great potential to develop adaptively, innovatively, and relevantly in responding to current and future educational needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the content of existing anti-corruption education textbooks in Indonesian universities. The significance of this research lies in revealing the limitations of these textbooks, which only cover basic aspects and do not sufficiently stimulate students' emotions and enthusiasm regarding the dangers of corruption. To address this issue, the study employs a content analysis approach to examine several anti-corruption education textbooks in Indonesia. The commonly used steps in data analysis include traditional content analysis, which involves a preparatory stage, an organizing stage, and the reporting of results. Procedures typically used in this method include text categorization and cross-tabulation of emerging categories. The study successfully identified that the direction and format of the content in these textbooks are still limited to aspects such as "basic concepts of corruption," "forms of corruption," "legal dimensions of corruption," and "principles needed to foster anti-corruption awareness." While such content provides students with formal knowledge related to anti-corruption, it falls short in stimulating emotions and enthusiasm about the dangers of corruption. Therefore, a more comprehensive approach is necessary to foster anti-corruption awareness among students in Indonesian universities.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal how services were provided to prospective pilgrims, particularly in 2022, after a two-year Hajj suspension due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The study focuses on the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Rejang Lebong Regency. Employing a descriptive approach, the research subjects included the Head of the Office, the Head of the Hajj and Umrah Organizer, staff, and prospective pilgrims. Data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through data collection, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation was used for data validity. The findings indicate that the management of Hajj services post-COVID-19 in Rejang Lebong, encompassing planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision, maintained pre-pandemic service principles, especially regulatory guidelines. However, differences emerged in the overall climate, atmosphere, and pilgrim numbers, with only 50% of the regular quota (282 pilgrims) being allocated, and an age limit under 65 years imposed. This research is novel, as there has been a lack of studies on post-COVID-19 Hajj services. In conclusion, the post-COVID-19 Hajj services in Rejang Lebong effectively adapted to health protocols and limited quotas while upholding pre-pandemic service principles. Despite changes in the atmosphere and pilgrim numbers, the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs successfully delivered services through structured and adaptive management.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with an explanatory approach, namely an approach that has a strong relationship with previous studies, such as siblings, to create, modify, and prove the hypothesis in this article. The data used in this study is primary data that the researcher obtained from an online questionnaire distributed to two hundred and eighty-five employees of “Mitra Sepuluh” Company, spread throughout Indonesia. The data that the researcher obtained was analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool. The conclusion in this article shows that the Digital Literacy variable has a positive relationship direction and a significant influence on Employee Performance in the first hypothesis. This is because the P-values in this article are positive and below the 0.05 significance level, namely 0.016. These results mean that the better digital literacy possessed by an employee can make employees smarter, make it easier for them to complete tasks for the company, and ultimately improve employee performance. In the next hypothesis, the Work Ethic variable can also moderate the influence of the Digital Literacy variable on Employee Performance because the same thing is that the P-Values are positive and below the 0.05 significance level, namely 0.000, more significant than the direct test of 0.000. Thus, it can be concluded that the first and second hypotheses in this article can be accepted and proven

Abstract

The Islamic Library and Information Science Study Program is a study program that focuses on developing information literacy and management. However, these efforts are often hindered by low reading interest and students’ tendency to access information instantly without engaging with academic sources. On the other hand, lecturers have taken individual initiatives to promote literacy activities. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving the head of the department, lecturers, and students as subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that literacy development strategies follow the Wheelen and Hunger model, formulated through the institution’s VMTS (Vision, Mission, Targets, and Strategy), although not formally documented. Implementation is participatory through self-initiated activities and informal evaluation, but faces challenges such as the absence of written strategies, weak policy support, and lack of systematic evaluation. The strategy is carried out in three stages: habituation (15-minute reading and storytelling), development (analysis, reviews, exploration of academic sources and information technology), and learning (scientific writing, discussions, and research). This strategic management has positively impacted literacy awareness, independent learning, and critical thinking skills.
