Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melatih guru Raudatul Athfal dan Madrasah Ibtidaiah ketika mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka. Kebutuhan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada guru RA dan MI didasari diskusi dengan mahasiswa pascasarjana pendidikan matematika dan mereka juga selaku guru/kepala sekolah/anggota MGMP sekecamatan Pontianak utara terkhusus RA dan MI yang memandang kebutuhan mendesak akan IKM tersebut. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini diadakan secara luring berlokasi di Aula RA Babussalam kecamatan Pontianak utara. Teknik dan Instrumen pengumpul datanya adalah teknik komunikasi langsung dan tak langsung, teknik observasi, dan teknik dokumentasi dengan alatnya berupa wawancara, lembar pengamatan, angket, dan dokumen-dokumen terkait. Wawancara dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana analisis kebutuhan implementasi kurikulum merdeka setelah pandemic, lembar pengamatan digunakan untuk mengamati jalannya pelatihan, diskusi dan tanya jawab yang terjadi di dalamnya, sedangkan dokumentasi digunakan untuk meninjau kebutuhan teori, materi, dan proses pelaksanaan yang berkeiatan dengan implementasi tersebut juga tak lupa angket respons guru untuk melihat keterlaksanaan keberhasilan program. Persiapan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini berupa: 1) panduan modul ajar; 2) panduan dokumen ATP; 3) panduan pembelajaran dan asesmen; 4) modul penguatan proyek Pancasila; 5) panduan pengembangan proyek; dan 6) panduan pendidikan khusus. Dengan hasil yang diperoleh adalah: 1) adanya draft perangkat pembelajaran Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang berhasil disusun; 2) kesepakatan pelatihan secara berkelanjutan dan berkesinambungan; 3) artikel publikasi ilmiah yang siap diterbitkan di jurnal nasional terakreditasi. Kegiatan ini diikuti dengan sangat antusias dengan dibuktikan dengan kehadiran peserta selaku guru lebih dari 100 peserta dan mendapatkan dampak yang positif dengan diukur melalui pengumpulan produk secara antusias berupa draft perangkat pembelajaran IKM yang dinilai oleh tim pengabdian sangat layak diimplementasikan sebagai panduan kurikulum di sekolah tersebut dan nantinya diterapkan ke peserta didik. Juga tak lupa respons guru yang positif dan sangat baik ketika dilakukan penyebaran angket respons.

Abstract

The comprehension of overarching principles in texts for elementary and junior high school is deficient. The objective of this study is to create an instructional plan for understanding the notion of square and rectangular regions using GeoGebra as a tool. This study employs a didactical design research methodology with a descriptive-qualitative approach. The didactic design discussed in this study pertains to the acquisition of knowledge regarding square and rectangular regions in junior high school. The study was carried out in a public junior high school located in Sungai Raya Kubu Raya. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data. Primary data is collected firsthand from sources in the field, directly from the research subject. The data is derived from test results and observations of eighth-grade students and mathematics teachers, which serve as the foundation for the development of didactical design. The secondary data consists of a literature review, which is derived from relevant literature sources that provide support or relevance to this publication, such as earlier research. The findings revealed that students had difficulties mostly in identifying flat shapes, calculating the area of squares and rectangles, understanding the correlation between square and rectangular areas, and utilising the notion of square and rectangular areas to solve problems. This learning impediment is surmounted by implementing a didactic design. The resulting didactic design incorporates the utilisation of GeoGebra software to address and overcome students' learning hurdles in the context of square and rectangular materials, with a focus on problem-solving.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design learning combinatorics sub-material faktorial, permutation, combination and chance with RME approach. This research is a qualitative research. With this research method using design research. The research techniques used are measurement techniques, direct observation and documentation with tools in the form of objective tests, observation sheets and document sheets. The research subjects were 2 classes, namely A1 and A2 classes in the Mathematical Statistics course, especially combinatorics material totaling 35 students with the learning trajectory in the form of numbers that were applied alternately to students. The conclusion of this research is obtained: 1) in the faktorial sub-material, students are introduced to the RME approach that 4!=24, 3!=6, 2!=2, 1!=1until it is proven that 1!=1; 2) in the permutation and combination sub-material, students are directed to be examples of the same numbers and letters that form the rules of permutation and combination; 3) in the opportunity sub-material, students are exemplified about coins and dice, both in one, two, and three pieces in the context of the problem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika meninjau dari kemampuan awal siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 25 siswa kelas XI. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan awal dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan awal sangat tinggi memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis sangat tinggi. Siswa dengan kemampuan awal tinggi memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang terbagi menjadi dua kategori, yaitu tinggi dan rendah. Siswa dengan kemampuan awal cukup memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang terbagi menjadi kategori empat, yaitu tinggi, cukup, rendah, dan sangat rendah. Siswa dengan kemampuan awal rendah memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang terbagi menjadi dua kategori, yaitu rendah dan sangat rendah. Siswa dengan kemampuan awal sangat rendah memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis sangat rendah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the Student Facilitator and Explanation learning model to students' problem solving abilities in set material, taking into account the learning styles of class VII SMP students. The method used is an experiment with a 2×3 factorial design, which involves two learning models, namely Student Facilitator and Creating and Problem Based Learning. The research results show that the Student Facilitator and Explanation model is more effective in improving problem solving abilities compared to the Problem Based Learning model. In addition, students with kinesthetic learning styles show better problem solving abilities than students with auditory and visual learning styles. This research emphasizes the importance of choosing a learning model that suits students' learning styles to improve problem solving abilities in mathematics.

Abstract

Studi ini mengeksplorasi tantangan yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran matematika, dengan fokus khusus pada persepsi negatif mereka terhadap pemahaman simbol dan rumus matematika. Penelitian ini menyoroti bahwa banyak mahasiswa mengalami kecemasan matematis, yang menghambat minat dan performa mereka dalam matematika. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap tantangan ini, seperti metode pengajaran tradisional yang kurang relevan dengan aplikasi kehidupan nyata. Studi ini menekankan perlunya pendekatan pedagogis yang inovatif, termasuk integrasi teknologi dan strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif, untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman mahasiswa. Dengan mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengusulkan strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat mahasiswa terhadap matematika.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to show whether students' critical thinking skills through solving triangle and square problems are influenced by their prior knowledge. Twenty-five seventh grade students from Madrasah Tsanawiyah At-Taminiyah Sui Kupah participated in this study. The research method used in this study was quantitative. Instruments in the form of multiple choice questions that tested prior knowledge and essay questions that tested critical thinking were used to collect data. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative data analysis in the form of normality test, linearity test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression test. The findings of this study show that the extent to which students' prior knowledge affects their critical thinking ability varies widely. The calculated Sig value of 37.080 and R-squared value of 61.7% provide strong support for this. The findings show that students with strong background knowledge also have strong critical thinking skills, while students with less background knowledge also have poorer critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the creative thinking process skills of SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Ambawang students in solving contextual problems related to the topic of ratios based on Wallas' theory. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research instruments used were creative thinking tests and interview guidelines. The data sources used were the answers to students' creative thinking tests and the results of interviews with students by researchers. This study reveals about students' creative thinking processes with three criteria for thinking levels, namely students with high, medium and low abilities. Of the 22 students, 23% were at a high creative thinking level, 32% were at a moderate creative thinking level and 45% were at a low creative thinking level. Students who are at a high level of creative thinking are able to go through all stages of creative thinking based on Wallas, at an intermediate level they are able to go through the Wallas creative thinking stage but are constrained in verification and do not find more than one way of solving it, while students at a low level do not go through the preparation stage and verification but find creative ways to solve problems.

Abstract

This dedication began with discussions between lecturers at two institutions discussing independent learning which was proclaimed by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education to be precise in February 2022 with a discussion agreement in the form of understanding the new curriculum and working together to develop learning tools by adapting the characteristics of the new curriculum. One of the goals that needs to be presented in learning tools is the inclusion of strengthening character education in an effort to build the realization of the Pancasila profile and its six dimensions. This service was held at UNU West Kalimantan with the form of implementation in the form of assistance in writing model-based learning semester learning design tools or case studies. The practice of using it uses the steps: 1) identification of general and specific problems in learning; 2) formulate various learning outcomes; 3) determine the required assessment tools; 4) develop a new curriculum learning process; 5) pouring the flow of learning objectives into lesson plans. With the results of the dedication, namely: 1) assisting in writing the rps until it is finished; 2) rps that is documented as a reference for the learning process; The formation of the draft RPS which was later ratified as an RPS guide at UNU West as one of the basic learning tools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan deskripsi kinerja guru matematika pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian pembelajaran berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantilatif melalui proses observasi pada saat tindakan supervisi pembelajaran. Penelitian dilakukan kepada dua guru matematika di sekolah yang berbeda dengan teknik purpose sampling. Tahap perencanaan seluruh instrument perencanaan pembelajan berdasarkan Dirjen Pendis Nomor lima ribu seratus enam puluh empat Tahun dua ribu delapan belas dan Nomor enam ribu tiga ratus tiga puluh empat Tahun dua ribu dua puluh satu diperoleh subjek E memperoleh nilai delapan puluh satu dengan kategori baik sedangkan subjek S memperoleh nilai enam puluh satu koma satu dengan kategori kurang. Tahap pelaksanaan berdasarkan Dirjen Pendis Nomor enam ribu tiga ratus tiga puluh empat Tahun dua ribu dua puluh satu diperoleh bahwa subjek E dengan nilai delapan puluh empat koma empat berkategori baik sedangkan subjek S memperoleh enam puluh delpan koma delpan kateogri cukup. Pada tahap akhir penilaian, berdasarkan SK Dirjen Pendis Nomor enam ribu tiga ratus tiga puluh empat Tahun dua ribu dua puluh satu diperoleh bahwa subjek E memperoleh nilai delapan puluh tujuh koma lima berkatogori baik dan subjek S dengan nilai tujuh puluh satu berkategori cukup.
