Abstract

This study aims to examine the pre-reading learning of grade II students using game techniques to complement online-based stories. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were students of class II SD Negeri 009 Cikadut, Bandung City with 32 students consisting of 13 male students and 19 female students. The instruments used were teacher and student observation sheets, questions about completing the story, and teacher and student questionnaires. The results showed that there was an increase in the quality of learning when the application of game techniques complemented the story. This is indicated by the mean value of reading comprehension at the beginning of the class of 80.63 which is classified as in the good category, the highest score of students is 96 and the lowest score is 62. Students' learning completeness shows that 84.0% of students get scores above the minimum completeness criteria and 16 , 0% still scored below the minimum completeness criteria value

Abstract

This study aims to examine learning mathematics understanding in grade III students using audio-visual media. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Subjects in this study were students of class III SD Negeri 259 Griba Bandung City with a total of 27 students consisting of 11 male students and 16 female students. The instruments used were a teacher and student observation sheets, questions about simple fractions, and teacher and student questionnaires. The results showed that there was an increase in the quality of learning after using audiovisual media. This is indicated by the average value of class mathematics understanding of 80.15 which belongs to the good category, the highest score of students is 94 and the lowest score is 62. Students' learning completeness shows that 93.0% of students get scores above the minimum completeness criteria and 7. 0% still score below the minimum completeness criteria value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah siswa bisa memahami pembelajaran matematika yang diberikan oleh guru dengan metode pembelajaran online. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yang diteliti ada 12 orang siswa kelas II SD. Alur penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah mewawancarai guru, dan juga mewawancarai siswa. 4 orang siswa kemampuan baik, 4 orang siswa kemampuan sedang, dan 4 orang siswa kemampuan rendah. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa 8 siswa (67%) mendapatkan nilai yang tinggi dan 4 siswa (33%) mendapatkan nilai sedang. Dengan demikian bisa disimpulkan bahwa siswa dapat memahami pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru dengan metode pembelajaran online.

Abstract

This study is entitled to improve the skills of writing observational reports of fifth-grade elementary school students through the Examples Non-Examples Model, this title is motivated by consideration of the lack of student skills when writing reports based on learning objectives, material criteria, and characteristics of fifth-grade elementary school students. The purpose of this research is to find out the improvement in the skills of fifth-grade elementary school students in writing observation reports through the Examples Non-Examples Model in elementary schools. The study conducted a qualitative approach by observing and evaluating in the form of non-test techniques using questionnaires and observation sheets. This research will focus on "Improving the Skill of Writing Reports on Observation of Grade V Elementary Students through the Examples Non-Examples Model " whose main objective is grade V students at SDN 037 Sabang, Bandung. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of research results that among the characteristics of students who have low observing and writing skills, using the Examples Non-Examples Model learning model are interconnected so that it affects the writing skills of the fifth-grade students' observation reports at SDN 037 Sabang, Bandung. Thus, the use of appropriate learning models can achieve the expected learning objectives. In this case, examples non-examples is one of the learning models that can improve the writing skills of students' observation reports.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a change in the implementation of learning that is usually face-to-face in the classroom to learning through online due to the pandemic covid-19. Therefore this study was conducted aiming to analyze the effect of online-based project based learning learning model on the resilience of students during the pandemic Covid-19. The research method used was pre-experimental with the design of one group pretest-posttest. The research population was consisting of four classes with a total of 183 students. While the sample used was only 92 students. The instruments used in this study were questionnaire instruments in accordance with indicators of resilience which were then processed statistically to answer the problem formulation in this study. The results of this study are the online-based project-based learning model that has a positive influence on student resilience while studying in the covid pandemic 19.

Abstract

This research aims at improving the narrative essay writing skills of elementary school teacher education students through Concentrated Language Encounter (CLE) learning activities assisted by short film learning media by employing a quasi-experimental nonequivalent group design. The subjects were all primary teacher education students in West Java, with a sample of 31 elementary school teacher education students in Cimahi City as the experimental class, and 31 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teacher education students in Bandung City as the control class. The results of the post-test research showed that the average skill of writing narrative essays in the experimental class was 81.10, while the control class obtained an average of 66.32. While the test results of the average N-gain difference in writing narrative essay skills with 2-tailed sig were 0.000 with a significance level of less than 0.05. These findings revealed that there was an increase in the writing narrative essay skills of elementary school teacher education students through the application CLE Model assisted by short film learning media. This research is expected to facilitate lecturers/teachers to teach narrative essay writing skills by optimizing all language skills through the CLE model assisted by short film media.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman siswa dalam konsep IPS mengenai materi Perjuangan Bangsa Dalam Memperjuangkan Kemerdekaan dengan menggunakan   model  pembelajaran  Project Based Learning, jenis penelitian  yang digunakan adalah  jenis penelitian quasi  eksperimen atau eksperimen semu . Sampel dalam penelitian ini  siswa kelas V yang terdiri dari 2 kelas, yaitu   kelas VA sebagai  kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah  siswa 31 siswa dan kelas VB yang merupakan kelas kontrol  yang terdiri dari 31 siswa. Siswa kelas eksperimen diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PjBl (Project Based Learning), sedangkan siswa kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan pretest, posttest dan treatmeant (Perlakuan) Berdasarkan hasil penelitian melalui serangkaian perhitungan secara statistik dengan melakukan Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas , Uji-t dan Uji N-Gain  dengan bantuan  aplikasi SPSS 23.0 , Microsoft Excel terdapat peningkatan pemahaman Konsep IPS pada materi Perjuangan Bangsa dalam memperjuangkan kemerdekaan di  Kelas VA SDN Cipagalo 03 Desa Cipagalo Kabupaten Bandung.  Kata kunci: Tingkat Pemahaman , PjBL, PBL, Perjuangan Bangsa.

Abstract

This study aims at identifying various types of conflicts experienced by students of elementary school teacher study program during online learning of elementary social studies learning courses during the COVID-19 pandemic, and determining the strategies they used to resolve conflicts they encountered . This study uses a descriptive research method with a survey design. The research participants were 4th semester students of the PGSD study program in a private university in the West Java region, totaling 243 that consisted of 182 female students and 61 male students. The instruments used in this study were interviews that were used to identify the conflicts experienced by students during online learning, and closed questionnaires that were distributed to determine the strategies used to resolve the conflicts; which were  analyzed descriptively. Based on the data obtained from the interviews, it was revealed that the conflicts experienced by students during online learning were completing group assignments, bullying between students, discriminatory attitude, and acknowledging/taking goods/works of others without asking permission. Meanwhile, based on the data obtained from the questionnaires regarding the students' strategies in resolving conflicts, it was found that students used cooperative strategies in resolving these conflicts.

Abstract

An advanced society is always changing according to the development of a better life. They are always looking for new information so as not to be out of date so that they can compete with other communities. The widespread use of technology in the era of globalization is increasing day by day. Through the use of technology in the 4.0 era, anyone anywhere and anytime can access all the information that exists in any corner of the world. With the help of technology, all information can be accessed quickly, this of course provides convenience in all fields of work. One of the advantages of using information technology is capturing, processing, storing and retransmitting data needed by humans. There are two approaches that can be taken on digital literacy covering two aspects, namely conceptual and operational approaches. One example is as in the educational environment, information technology is used by students in learning activities through the use of computers in schools or colleges that are supported by internet technology. However, without realizing it, in the midst of incessant efforts to modernize themselves, the community is also required to always be aware of and preserve its cultural wealth, namely regional languages that have existed as intellectual property for a long time. This regional language is the result of the creativity of our ancestors in daily communication to deal with any situation. One of the efforts that can be done is through a digital literacy culture. Empowerment of the use of regional languages can be done by implementing digital literacy in families, schools and communities.

Abstract

Mudahnya siswa SD mendapatkan informasi tentang budaya negara lain melalui gadget, dikhawatirkan akan mengikis pengetahuan siswa tentang budaya Indonesia. Pengetahuan tentang budaya Indonesia sangat penting bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan pengetahuan yang mendalam tentang budaya Indonesia, siswa akan memiliki cara berpikir yang baik dalam melestarikan budaya dan memiliki sikap bangga terhadap budaya Indonesia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan tebak budaya berbasis Microsoft excel terhadap pengetahuan siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimental design dengan one-group pretest-posttest design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD di kota Cimahi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes pengetahuan budaya dan angket respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa tentang budaya Indonesia meningkat dan siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa salah satunya dengan menggunakan permainan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan budaya siswa.
