Abstract

The study was intended to increase the ecological intelligence of the cisintok class iv student based on media pictures in the implementation of the discovery learning model. Researchers applying the discovery learning model in class iv are expected to give students active, creative and enjoyable learning. As for picture media, it is necessary for students to make learning more interesting and to increase student study interest. The metedology used is a qualitative description with a class iv SDN cisintok subject, 2019/2020 year of 30 students. The research has the four components of planning, action, observation and reflection. The use of instruments is an observation sheet, an angkette sheet, an interview sheet. The data-analysis techniques in this study use qualitative descriptive techniques. This research's success indicator is that by increasing the student's ecological intelligence of garbage processing, 83 percent of the students achieve their assigned KKM. Results from this study showed that the use of media pictures with the discovery learning model proved to be able to increase the ecological intelligence of the west bandung district iv. Abstract

The success of teachers in conducting online learning in the Covid-19 pandemic situation depends on the ability of teachers to innovate in designing and concocting materials, learning methods, and what applications are in accordance with the materials and methods. Creativity is the key to success for a teacher to be able to motivate students to stay enthusiastic about learning online (online). The Time Games Tournament TGT learning model is a model that can be applied in online learning to eliminate children's boredom and provide learning variations. In this study, the research targets were the fourth-grade students of SDN 037 Sabang Bandung City, West Java Province, totaling 20 people. The material that becomes the focus of the research is the "Style" subject matter science. The results of this study are comparing student learning outcomes before using the TGT learning model after using the TGT learning model. The results of the analysis show that the use of the TGT learning model can improve student learning outcomes, this can be seen from the increase in the number of students who complete learning.

Abstract

This classroom action research was carried out by applying the hands on activity method to improve articulation abilities. Through hands on activity will be formed an appreciation and experience to establish an understanding, because it is able to teach together cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills and can provide a deep appreciation of what is learned. Research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consists of four (4) steps of activity, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Before the first cycle begins with observation activities to determine the condition of learning and the ability of student articulation. Cycle I actions as an effort to improve conditions that are stated as lacking in observation. Cycle II activity, an effort to improve that is still lacking in cycle I. The results of the study show that the teacher's observation still uses classical learning methods, lectures and teaching aids that are as simple as the articulation unclear and a lot of distortion. After conducting research for the last two cycles, the results of the study showed that by using the hands on activity method the students' articulation ability increased and learning on rounded material in the fourth grade of Macedonia was declared complete.

Abstract

This study aims to examine learning social studies understanding in grade IV students using the index card type active learning method. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 259 Griba, Bandung City with a total of 30 students consisting of 11 male students and 19 female students. The instruments used were teacher and student observation sheets, questions about economic activities, and teacher and student questionnaires. The results showed that there was an increase in the quality of learning after using the index card type active learning method. This is indicated by the average value of class social studies understanding of 90.00% which is in the good category, the highest score of students is 96 and the lowest score is 40. Students' learning completeness shows that 90.00% of students get scores above the minimum completeness criteria, and 10% still scored below the minimum completeness criteria value.

Abstract

This classroom action research was carried out by applying the hands on activity method to improve observing abilities. Through hands on activity will be formed an appreciation and experience to establish an understanding, because it is able to teach together cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities and can provide a deep appreciation of what is learned, so that what is obtained by students is not easily forgotten. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) in class II SDK Gamaliel. To find out how to improve the ability to observe, the instruments used were written tests, oral tests, and observations. Peneliatian conducted in two cycles, each cycle consists of four (4) steps of activity, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Before the first cycle begins with observation activities to determine the condition of learning and the ability to observe students. Cycle I actions as an effort to improve conditions that are stated as lacking or not yet complete in observation. Cycle II activity, an effort to improve / improve the situation that is still lacking in cycle I. The results of the study show that by using the hands on activity model the ability to observe SDK Gamaliel students increases.

Abstract

Berdasar pada pengalaman mengajar penulis dimana tidak adanya jam tersendiri dalam pemebelajaran membaca permulaan bagi siswa dengan kemampuan membaca permulaan yang tertinggal dengan tema dikelasnya, penulis merasa perlu adanya metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa, Penelitian menggunkan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitiannya yaitu Nonrandomized pretest-posttes kontrol group design., dengan populasi penelitian adalah 239 siswa kelas satu gugus cigugur Kecamatan parongpong tahun ajaran 2018/2019, sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas satu SDN Panyairan dengan 26 siswa kelas 1A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 26 siswa kelas 1B sebagai kelas kontrol. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah metode Hands On Activity dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas satu sekolah dasar negeri panyairan kecamatan parongpong kabupaten bandung barat. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah test kemampuan membaca permulaan dan lembar observasi, data di analisis dengan metode statistik parametik dan non parametik test. Kemudian data disajikan dalam bentuk kuantitatif deskriptip, dari hasil analisis data diperoleh perbedaan rata-rata N-Gain sekor data tes kemampuan membaca permulaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diketahui bahwa sekor N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0.50 yang tergolong kategori sedang, dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0.35 dan masih tergolong kategori sedang. Kendati dengan kategori yang sama namun bila di lihat dari hasil uji Mann Whitney data pretes dan postest didapat selisih Mean Rank sebesar 16.42 dengan kelas eksperimen 34.71 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 18.29, Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran dengan metode Hands On Activity memberi pengaruh lebih besar dari pada metode konvensional.

Abstract

Menulis merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan, khususnya bagi siswa saat pembelajaran berlangsung di kelas. Dalam penulisan secara formal banyak aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan, salah satunya adalah kebakuan kata yang digunakan. Namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak penulisan kata baku yang tidak sesuai dengan kaidah kebahasaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kekeliruan kata baku yang ditulis oleh siswa dalam menulis jawaban dari soal materi pelajaran keragaman suku bangsa dan agama serta menjabarkan faktor yang mempengaruhi kekeliruan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas V SDN Cibabat Mandiri 1. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat 28 kekeliruan penulisan kata dari 39 siswa dengan faktor penyebab sebagai berikut: (1) faktor dwikebahasaan, (2) faktor lingkungan, (3) faktor kebiasaan dalam bahasa ibu, dan (4) faktor tidak cukupnya kosakata bahasa penerima.

Abstract

Latar Belakang penelitian ini adalah berawal dari rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan metode konvensional oleh guru dalam mata pelajaran matematika sehingga tidak ada aktivitas siswa dalam mengkondtruk konsep sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME, mengetahui respon siswa dan guru setelah perlakuan pendekatan, dan mengetahui kesulitan yang dialami siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SD kelas IV di salah satu SD Negeri Cibeber Semester Genap tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan jumlah 30 siswa diantaranya 13 siswa laki-laki dan 17 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan Data menggunakan tes terlutis, angket, lembar observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Implementasi pembelajaran berjalan sesuai dengan rencana yang telah disiapkan sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih baik dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME, Respon Guru dan Siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan RME sebaian besar memberikan respon positif, dan Kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pada nomor 6 dengan indikator Menggunakan dan memanfaatkan serta memilih prosedur atau operasi tertentu dan soal nomor 7 dengan indikator Mengaplikasikan konsep atau algoritma dalam pemecahan masalah. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan RME dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa

Abstract

Isu-isu pokok penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mengembangkan pembelajaran inovatif melalui Hands On Activity (HOA) bagi siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) yang efektif dan efisien. Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai sebagai berikut: (1). Meningkatkan kemampuan aspek psikomotorik siswa SD melalui HOA dengan memberikan berbagai macam cara belajar yang menggerakkan dan menggunakan tangan; (2). Memberikan pembelajaran HOA yang menyenangkan dan bisa menginspirasi siswa-siswa SD; (3). Memberikan cara-cara belajar efektif melalui kegiatan HOA yang bersifat kolaboratif antar siswa. Metode/pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pencapaian tujuan sebagai berikut: (a). Mengumpulkan siswa-siswa dan guru-guru SD se-Kecamatan Cimahi Selatan; (b). Memberikan gambaran umum mengenai kegiatan penelitian yang akan dilakukan; (c). Melakukan refleksi, diskusi mengenai berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran HOA yang akan dilakukan; (d). Melakukan kolaborasi dengan guru-guru SD dan masyarakat sekitar dalam penentuan lokasi SD yang akan diberikan pembelajaran HOA; (e). Pelaksanaan pembelajaran HOA; (f). Evaluasi pembelajaran HOA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan aspek psikomotorik siswa SD melalui HOA dengan memberikan berbagai macam cara belajar yang menggerakkan dan menggunakan tangan sebesar 23%; (2). Siswa-siswa SD antusias dengan pembelajaran HOA yang diberikan guru; (3). Terjadinya kolaboratif antara satu siswa dengan siswa lainnya pada saat pembelajaran HOA dilakukan.
