Abstract

The evaluation and supervision system has a big impact on the implementation of learning, meaning that the learning strategy and its implementation are very dependent on the evaluation system in place and the supervision carried out. Therefore, this research will present the meaning of clinical supervision, goals of clinical supervision, characteristics of clinical supervision, and principles of clinical supervision. The method used is the literature study method through collecting books, previous research and articles. The results show that the application of clinical supervision in learning is very helpful in improving the quality of learning by providing direct guidance to educators or practitioners in the field. Clinical supervision focuses on monitoring, assessing and coaching to identify strengths and areas for improvement, with the aim of supporting professional development. Through this approach, educators can obtain constructive feedback, reflection on their practice, and more targeted support in overcoming challenges in the field. Overall, the application of clinical supervision can improve skills, knowledge and quality of teaching, as well as create a more effective learning environment for students

Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in building quality human resources. An effective and efficient education management system is needed in accordance with the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM). This study aims to analyze the integration of the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles with the results of Madrasah Self Evaluation (EDM) assessment as a strategy to realize quality education. This research uses a qualitative method that takes data from a literature review of recent scientific articles related to the principles of TQM and the implementation of EDM. The results show that TQM principles-customer satisfaction, comprehensive involvement, and continuous improvement-can be effectively operationalized through data-based EDM applications. Although the integration of TQM principles with data-based technology such as EDM has not been widely explored empirically in madrasahs, data-based management is considered necessary to be the main foundation of TQM implementation in the madrasah environment. As EDM is one of the tools to support TQM in education, this research seeks to explore the relationship in the context of educational evaluation. The results of this study are expected to make a theoretical contribution to education management.

Abstract

The research aims to learn, solve, and repair the student learning evaluation assessment in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Samarinda through conflict management. The research only focuses on the headmaster, representative of headmaster for curriculum, and teacher. This research used qualitative research by using descriptive approach. Data collection technique used observation and interview. Data analysed by using conflict management theory and other supporting theories. The results show the headmaster and the representative of headmaster said the whole of learning activities in the school run well. But, the conflict occurred from the teacher. The teacher said only a few teachers know how to give students learning evaluation assessment by using methods, not only predicting the score of each student directly and randomly that can be called as shoot or pulley the score without having the steps of learning evaluation. The conclusion, there is a lack of the role of headmaster and representative of headmaster for curriculum to observe and give the guidance to the teacher to do evident and clear learning evaluation for students’ assessment.

Abstract

Guru harus mampu berpikir kritis, kreatif, serta bekerja sama dengan dukungan teknologi informasi. Oleh sebab itu, peningkatan kualitas kompetensi guru menjadi bagian penting dalam agenda pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana literasi digital, supervisi akademik, dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi guru. Secara lebih rinci, penelitian ini ingin mengungkap kontribusi masing-masing faktor tersebut dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional para pendidik. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, yang bertujuan untuk menggali secara mendalam bagaimana literasi digital, supervisi akademik, dan budaya organisasi memengaruhi kompetensi guru. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru-guru dari satuan pendidikan tertentu yang dipilih secara purposive sesuai dengan kriteria relevan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga faktor utama yang memengaruhi kompetensi guru, yaitu literasi digital, supervisi akademik, dan budaya organisasi sekolah. Literasi digital berperan penting dalam membantu guru merancang dan menjalankan proses pembelajaran yang inovatif serta memanfaatkan teknologi secara efektif.

Abstract

Children are a brilliant age or the age at which children are currently able to digest all the information usually obtained from the general environment, and early childhood is also known as the golden age. At this age, children's habituation in strict quality development must be carried out consistently, which will be the tendency of children later into adulthood. Children are a gift and a mandate entrusted by Allah SWT to His servants who will be held accountable by Allah SWT in the hereafter. This paper aims to make parents aware of their role in educating children in teaching prayer. The study in this paper uses the Library Research method. The result of this study is that the family is the most important place where children can get their first education. The child's personality and character are first formed in the family environment, parents should have a concept in educating children, namely Religious and Moral Education. Which is the teaching of prayer that refers to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

This study emphasises the importance of spiritual leadership as a key strategy in supporting the achievement of SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 16 (Resilient Institutions), considering that leadership practices in State Islamic Senior High Schools (MAN) in Java and Kalimantan are still diverse and lack cross-cultural comparative studies. The research objective is to analyse spiritual leadership practices, identify similarities and differences across regions, assess their contribution to a quality culture, and formulate a conceptual model of spiritual leadership based on Islamic values appropriate to the educational context and the SDGs agenda. This research uses a qualitative approach with an interpretative paradigm through a multi-site study in six MANs, with informants from madrasah principals, teachers, and students selected through purposive and snowball sampling. The results show that spiritual leadership is the primary foundation of a quality culture through exemplary behaviour, habituation of worship, strengthening of the vision and mission, and empowerment of teachers and students. Practices in Java are more formal-strategic, while in Kalimantan they tend to be contextual-collective, based on religiosity and local wisdom, despite facing budget constraints, administrative pressures, and socio-cultural diversity. This study developed an Islamic Spiritual Leadership model for the SDGs based on faith, Islam, ihsan, Al-Ghazali's values, and the principles of the caliphate ('adl, rahma, amanah), formulated in four pillars: spiritual transcendence, ethical role model, community empowerment, and contextual adaptation. The study's limitations lie in its regional scope and the predominance of qualitative data. Further research is recommended to use a quantitative or mixed-methods approach to test the model's effectiveness more broadly. The study's primary contribution is presenting a contextual and applicable Islamic perspective in strengthening the quality culture of madrasas while supporting the global agenda of sustainable development.

Abstract

From the understanding that OPAC is a catalog stored on a PC (digitized), so it can be accessed online and used to search for information about collections in the library. So that users can easily and quickly search for various book collections in the library. In conducting this research I used the Library research method (Literature Study) in searching for data and sources related to catalog digitization. Purpose and Function of OPAC There are several purposes for creating OPAC, including: Users can directly access the library database. Reduce costs and time spent by users to search for information. Reduce the workload of database management to improve work efficiency. Speed ​​up information searches. Able to meet the information needs of the community comprehensively. In the digital age, libraries are a place that must keep up with technological developments. Because libraries are places where people fulfill their information needs. To meet library information needs in the short term, libraries must have a catalog. Therefore, the tool of the current digitalization era, libraries must provide OPAC. OPAC is a computer catalog that can be used online and can be used to track information on library collections and other library information.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pengelolaan perpustakaan dan koleksi bukunya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun koleksi buku, mengelola perpustakaan, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat, dan meningkatkan kegemaran membaca siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana pustakawan, koleksi, pengawasan administrasi, dan promosi membaca di perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana rekomendasi yang berbeda untuk layanan dan sumber daya perpustakaan berdampak pada minat baca siswa. Prosedur yang dilakukan untuk membuat tinjauan pustaka adalah pemilihan topik, penelitian literatur, pembentukan opini, dan tinjauan literatur. Analisis isi digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Kepala perpustakaan dapat mendorong para guru yang telah ditugaskan untuk mendorong anak-anak untuk membaca dengan menugaskan pekerjaan rumah yang berhubungan dengan membaca berdasarkan hasil evaluasi literatur ini. Staf para pengunjung diberitahu tentang layanan yang efektif dan fasilitas yang lengkap oleh anggota staf perpustakaan. Minat baca siswa di perpustakaan dapat ditingkatkan dengan menyediakan layanan dan sumber daya perpustakaan yang sesuai.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan manajemen pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan pada tahapan rekrutmen, seleksi orientasi, pengangkatan dan penempatan, obseravasi dan evaluasi, serta pemberhentian sudah dilakukan, namun masih belum maksimal. Masih ada pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang tidak sesuai dengan kewenangannta atau keahliannya. Kompensasi yang diberikan belum mampu mensejaterahkan atau membantu mereka. Hal-hal yang perlu di perhatikan dan harus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan mutu melalui perencanaan dan seleksi sekolah yang baik, yaitu dengan memilah apa yang dibutuhkan sekolah, pengembangan dengan pelatihan, sertifikasi, pemantauan dan kompensasi yang adil untuk mempertahankan tenaga pendidik. Dengan demikian, peningkatan mutu melaui standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan dilaksanakan dengan mengoptimalkan peran pendidikan nasioanl yang berfungsi mengembangkan kemampuan, kedua membentuk karakter bangsa melalui pendidikan yang membutuhkan keteladanan dari pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, ketiga pembinaan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan dilakukan sejak dari LPTK.

Abstract

Human resource development (HRD) in higher education is a key element in creating educational institutions capable of adapting to global changes in the 21st-century education era. The vision of 21st-century education demands new skills, such as technological literacy, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, which must be integrated into the education system, including in higher education institutions. This study aims to analyze the implementation of HRD policies in higher education institutions in East Kalimantan and evaluate how these policies support the 21st-century education vision. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method involving several higher education institutions in East Kalimantan. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, involving key stakeholders such as university leaders, faculty, and administrative staff. The data analysis was conducted descriptively using thematic analysis to understand the patterns and processes of HRD policy implementation. The findings indicate that the implementation of HRD policies in higher education institutions in East Kalimantan still faces various challenges, particularly regarding limited technological infrastructure and training resources. However, some universities have taken strategic steps to strengthen faculty and staff competencies through professional development programs aligned with the needs of 21st-century education. These policies have also begun to integrate digital literacy and 21st-century skills into teacher training and development. This study concludes that although the HRD policies in East Kalimantan’s higher education institutions have supported the 21st-century education vision, their implementation still requires improvement, especially in terms of relevant technology and curricula. The study also provides recommendations for policymakers to enhance the synergy between HRD and global demands in education through more comprehensive and sustainable policies.
