Abstract

ABSTRAK: Hal yang sering menjadi kendala dalam menulis adalah kurangnya penguasaan kosakata, padahal kosakata menentukan seberapa terampil seseorang dalam berbahasa. Semakin kaya kosakata yang kita miliki, maka semakin besar pula kemungkinan kita terampil berbahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui  ada  atau  tidaknya  pengaruh  penguasaan  kosakata  terhadap  kemampuan menulis  eksposisi  siswa  SMA  Muhammadiyah   1 Medan;  (2)  mengetahui  ada  atau tidaknya  pengaruh  penguasaan  tata  bahasa  Indonesia  terhadap  kemampuan  menulis eksposisi  siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah  se-Kota Medan; serta (3) mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh penguasaan kosakata dan tata bahasa Indonesia terhadap kemampuan menulis eksposisi siswa SMA Muhammadiyah  se-Kota Medan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah se-Kota Medan dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 250 siswa. Teknik   pengambilan   sampel   menggunakan   teknik   stratified   random   sampling. Pengumpulan data kosa kata, tata bahasa, dan menulis eksposisi dilakukan dengan tes kemampuan.  Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi product moment dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil yang di dapat ada 44 siswa (12,75%) siswa memiliki penguasaan kosa kata terhadap kemampuan menulis eksposis pada kategori tinggi, 251 siswa (72,72%) siswa berada pada kategori sedang dan 50 siswa (14.50%) siswa memiliki kemampuan rendah. Sementara untuk penguasaan tata bahasa Indonesia terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi di dapat data yaitu: 59 siswa (17.10%) kategori tinggi, 219 siswa (63,48%) siswa kategori sedang dan 67 siswa (19,42%) kategori rendah.KATA KUNCI: Eksposisi; Instagram; Kosakata; Tata Bahasa INDONESIAN VOCABULARY WRITING ON INSTAGRAM USERS ON THE ABILITY TO WRITE EXPOSITION TEXT ABSTRACT: The background of this research is that the 2013 curriculum was developed by improving individual and group learning patterns while still paying attention to the development of potential especially that of each student, one of which is the ability of students to write descriptive texts. The thing that often becomes an obstacle in writing is the lack of vocabulary mastery, even though vocabulary determines how skilled a person is in language. The richer the vocabulary we have, the more likely we are to be skilled at language. This study aims to: (1) determine whether or not there is an effect of vocabulary mastery on the ability to write exposition for students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan; (2) know whether or not there is an influence of mastery of Indonesian grammar on the ability to write an exposition of the tenth-grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah in Medan City; and (3) to find out whether or not there is an effect of mastery of Indonesian vocabulary and grammar on the ability to write an exposition of students of SMA Muhammadiyah in Medan. The research subjects were students of class X SMA Muhammadiyah in Medan City taking a sample of 250 students. The sampling technique used a stratified random sampling technique. Vocabulary, grammar, and writing exposition data were collected by means of an ability test. The data analysis technique used is product moment analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results obtained there are 44 students (12.75%) students have mastery of vocabulary on the ability to write exposure in the high category, 251 students (72.72%) students in the medium category and 50 students (14.50%) students have the ability low. Meanwhile, for the mastery of Indonesian grammar on narrative writing skills, the data obtained are 59 students (17.10%) in the high category, 219 students (63.48%) in the medium category and 67 students (19.42%) in the low category.KEYWORDS: Eksposition; Instagram; Vocabulary, Grammar

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of Islamic Empires in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data sources are quoted from credible pages such as Google Scholar and SINTA. Then the data were analyzed and checked for validity through data triangulation. The results of this study concluded that the role of the Islamic kingdom in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia was to influence the process of Islamization in Indonesia through the establishment of various educational institutions, such as (1) Aceh (Darussalam, Pasai and Malacca), establishing Balai Setia Hukama, Balai Setia Ulama, and the Ulama Association Congregation Hall; (2) Mataram Kingdom, establishing grand mosques in each district as well as mosques for each village, combining cultural elements with the principles of Islamic teachings, and classifying the levels of recitation in Islamic boarding schools starting from the level of the Koran, recitation of turat books, large Islamic boarding schools , and level of special expertise or specialty; and (3) the Islamic kingdom of Malacca, the palaces and houses of preachers to become Islamic educational institutions, as well as the use of mosques and surau as Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Year by year Indonesia's economic growth is increasingly advanced. This is marked by the development of industry and the large number of business people coming to Indonesia. Along with this, Indonesian as a communication tool began to develop and was widely used by foreign speakers. Thus, Indonesian also has the potential to become an international language. The focus of this research is the opportunities and challenges that occur when Thai students study a foreign language, namely Indonesian. The data source in this research is at the PattanakanSuksa Minithi School within the framework of the international community service program. The development of the Indonesian language is mostly carried out by the government and universities. It is hoped that the government will take steps to globalize the Indonesian language by making several efforts to spread the language for foreign students to learn Indonesian. This research touches on aspects such as teaching grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills in everyday situations. Additionally, information about cultural approaches, assessments, and support resources provided to program participants may be included.

Abstract

The language skills that will be a careful focus in this research are pronunciation skills. The object of research is Thai learners with Indonesian teachers as teachers and researchers. Data was analyzed using the observation method, namely jumping in and looking directly at the subject and object of interest. By using direct methods in teaching, the data obtained shows the ability of Thai learners to pronounce Indonesian vocabulary. This research is qualitative research looking at pronunciation ability as evidence of the success of teaching methods. At the first meeting of class VIII students, it was found that 5 out of 16 students knew simple Malaysian Malay, which was only spoken, not written. At the second meeting, 2 out of 16 students were able to spell names in Indonesian. In the third meeting, students were able to write their names in Indonesian and pronounce the alphabet. At the fourth meeting, errors were found in reading the text of 3 words on the blackboard, such as the word "saudara" being read as "suadara", "bersih" being read as "berseh" and several words with vowel combinations which made it difficult for the students to read the text. At the fifth meeting, students were able to read writing in one paragraph with several pronunciation errors, such as the letter C being pronounced SI. From this data it is known that the ability to pronounce Indonesian vocabulary by Thai learners has increased with each meeting.

Abstract

One way to help students become more creative in the learning process is to use the mind mapping method. The purpose of this study was to examine how the mind mapping approach can be used to enhance student learning results. This study falls under the category of qualitative research using a descriptive study design. research that aims to describe and analyze the subject of the study—be it an object, phenomena, event, or issue. Observation, interviews, and documentation methods were used as data gathering methods. Data was gathered for this study, which involved multiple primary school children. the outcomes of the information that researchers gathered from sources, including facts discovered through field observations. Learning leads to a shift in behavior rather than mastery.

Abstract

Principal leadership affects the quality of a school. The principal plays an important role in the educational circle of a school, so it can be said to be the spearhead of the successful achievement of school goals. The purpose of this study was to analyze the participatory leadership role of school principals in improving competence. The research method used is qualitative research with the case study method. There were 34 informants in this study, consisting of school principals, teachers and administrators. Data collection technique is use triangulation. Data analysis techniques in data collection using techniques are editing, categories, data display and interpretation. The results of the study show that school principals carry out participatory leadership. Participatory leadership by school principals can improve teacher competency. Professional competence, the teacher understands the main tasks and functions. The teacher implements various strategies and ways of managing classes, and plans and utilizes various available learning resources. The teacher creates an atmosphere of familiarity with students, always communicates well with fellow educators, and communicates with parents about the learning progress of their students. The teacher sets a good role model for students, is consistent in dressing modestly, and speaks using kind and polite words. Therefore, the teacher is able to improve his quality, both the quality of professional, pedagogic, social and personality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the inquiry learning model on the ability to analyze short story texts by students of grade XI MIPA SMA YPK Medan for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. This study uses a quantitative research method approach. From the results of the research, the author's ability to analyze short story texts before using the inquiry learning model obtained an average score of 66.42 with the highest score of 82 and the lowest score of 50. Meanwhile, the ability to analyze short story texts after using the inquiry learning model obtained an average score of 78.34 with the highest score of 93 and the lowest score of 68. then the tcount value is compared with the ttable with a significant level of a=0.05 (5%) at the degree of magnitude N-1 (35-1=34) and the result is a ttable of 1.7.Thus, the tcount value is greater than the ttable value (29.07), which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This study was declared accepted, which means that there is a significant influence on the use of the inquiry learning model by grade XI students of Mipa High School YPK Medan in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan Program Kemandirian Masyarakat (PKM) di Desa Jaring Halus Kec. Secanggang Kab. Langkat yaitu Memberikan edukasi tentang karakter berwirausaha dan pemanfaatan potensi Sumber Daya Alam Desa Jaring Halus serta pemanfaatan hasil tanaman jeruju sebagai produk lokal unggulan Masyarakat Desa Jaring Halus sehingga masyarakat menjadi kreatif dan produktif, dan juga meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Memberikan pendampingan wirausaha masyarakat desa secara langsung dalam pengelolahan tanaman jeruju serta peningkatan dan peningkatan potensi Desa Jaring Halus sehingga menjadi Desa Wirausaha. Kegiatan yang telah dilakukan tim pengabdi bersama mitra merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas, inovasi dan produktivitas serta peningkatan kapasitas ekonomi dengan menumbuhkan semangat wirausaha melalui pengolahan dan pengemasan produk teh jeruju. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM yang diperoleh masyarakat petani jeruju di desa Jaring Halus, antara lain : Peningkatan wawasan dan ilmu pengetahuan mitra tentang pengolahan dan pengemasan teh herbal jeruju, Peningkatan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) mitra tentang peluang usaha melalui pemberian pelatihan Digital Marketing, Peningkatan kapasitas ekonomi masyarakat petani tanaman jeruju didesa Jaring Halus.

Abstract

Aisyiyah ialah salah satu organisasi perempuan Muslim terbesar di Indonesia. Dengan mengambil hal yang sesuai, rata-rata ibu-ibu yang mengikuti Aisyiyah adalah ibu rumah tangga. Dengan menggunakan sistem semai dan juga menggunakan pupuk organik cair, mampu membuat seluruh warga yang ikut dapat memahaminya dengan mudah. Metode yang dilakukan ialah dengan langsung terjun ke lapangan untuk memberikan pengarahan secara lansgung kepada warga yang datang. Memberikan penjelasan detail bagaimana cara melakukan sistem semai kangkung darat dengan mudah. Hasil yang didapat ialah dengan memberikan eduikasi cara penyemaian yang sesuai dan kapan benih bisa ditanam di tanah secara langsung, sebelum itu direndam dahulu dengan menggunakan pupuk organik cair merek Basill Nigr. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan secara langsung seperti ini dapat dilakukan dengan semaksimal mungkin untuk membuat para warga mampu memahami dan juga bertanya secara langsung apabila ada hal yang tidak dapat dipahami.

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase the basicity of youth and increase creativity in protecting the environment. The method of implementing youth service activities to form characters who care about the surrounding environment and support the field of creativity in Tebing Tanjung Selamat Village, Kec. Tualang Field. The program requires physical and mental readiness, as well as knowledge and skill readiness. With this service activity, the relationship between higher education institutions as a source of knowledge and the community is getting better so that handling in various fields of development will be integrated.
