Abstract

Musik dan Bahasa dikenal secara global dengan menempati posisi penting yang berdampingan langsung dengan aktivitas manusia. Dengan kata lain, tumpang tindih antara musik dan bahasa terdorong pada komunikasi dan modalitas dalam kemampuan bersosialisasi serta penentu proses akal atau strukur pikiran individu yang pada hakikatnya manusia merupakan makhluk sosial. Tuli-san ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak yang ditimbulkan dari aktivitas pelatihan musik dalam memori kerja musik dan bahasa secara neurologis. Hal ini untuk mengetahui potensi pengembangan kualitas kognitif umum dalam pemrolehan atau akuisisi bahasa melalui pelatihan musikal. Sebab kognisi memiliki ciri penting selama memperoleh pengetahuan. Kognisi merupa-kan suatu proses, proses bersifat mental dan memiliki tujuan, proses berada di dalam otak serta proses tersebut dibawah kendali manusia itu sendiri dan dilakukan secara berkesinambungan. Banyaknya artikel adalah 3.026 yang akan dikaji dalam tulisan ini sebagai populasi penelitian dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review atau tinjauan pustaka sistematis. Metode tinjauan pustaka sistematis digunakan untuk merujuk pada metodologis penelitian atau riset tertentu untuk pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam proses mengumpulkan, mengevaluasi, menyaring serta mengidentifikasi terkait fokus tertentu untuk memberikan interpretasi terkait tujuan penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari database popular dan memiliki cakupan literatur dengan kreadibilitas baik dan luas. Database yang digunakann untuk mencari sumber data yaitu: ScienceDirect, Taylor&Francis, John Wiley&Sons, Sage Publication dan Google Scholar khususnya untuk artikel internasional yang dilakukan di mancanegara dengan penulisan menggunakan bahasa Inggris pada rentang waktu studi 2015-2021. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat pengaruh pelatihan musik dalam memori jangka pendek musik dan bahasa secara neurologis, dibuktikan dengan 8 artikel yang mampu menjawab pertanyaan penelitian. Dari hasil ini membuktikan bahwa adanya pengaruh pelatihan musik terhadap memori kerja musik dan bahasa secara neurologis.

Abstract

In the era of globalized tourism, destinations function not only as geographic spaces but as communicative platforms for cultural exchange. This study examines how place branding elements—brand image, cultural authenticity, and community engagement—influence revisit intention through the mediating roles of perceived cultural exchange and destination identity alignment. Drawing on theories of intercultural communication and symbolic interactionism, a structural equation modelling approach using PLS-SEM was applied to data collected from 235 tourists visiting culturally significant destinations in Indonesia. The results reveal that perceived cultural exchange is the strongest predictor of revisit intention, while cultural authenticity and brand image significantly shape identity alignment and intercultural engagement. Community involvement was also found to impact perceived cultural exchange positively. The findings offer theoretical contributions by reconceptualizing place branding as a dialogic and identity-forming process and practical implications for designing culturally responsive branding strategies rooted in local narratives and community participation.

Abstract

The aesthetics of jewelry design and patterns of entrepreneurial creativity are key aspects in developing Kamasan jewelry products in Pasirjambu, Ciwidey. Each generation of artisans exhibits unique skills and approaches in creating bespoke accessory designs. This study aims to explore the creativity patterns and aesthetic values in the jewelry designs produced by four generations of artisans in Pasirjambu. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed to gather data from four artisans, both male and female, focusing on ring designs. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and document studies, with data analysis conducted through triangulation. The findings reveal that the artisans’ creativity lies in their innovative use of motifs, enhancing aesthetics, comfort, and market appeal. This study highlights how tradition and innovation coexist to preserve the jewelry heritage of Pasirjambu while fostering entrepreneurial creativity. Desain Perhiasan yang Estetis dan Pola Kreativitas Wirausaha: Studi Kasus Empat Generasi Pengrajin Perhiasan Pasirjambu. Estetika desain perhiasan dan pola kreativitas kewirausahaan menjadi kunci dalam pengembangan produk perhiasan kamasan di Pasirjambu, Ciwidey. Setiap generasi pengrajin menunjukkan keunikan keterampilan dan pendekatan yang berbeda dalam menciptakan desain aksesori pesanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pola kreativitas dan nilai estetika dalam desain perhiasan yang dihasilkan oleh empat generasi pengrajin di Pasirjambu. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan untuk menggali data dari empat pengrajin, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan, yang berfokus pada desain cincin. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas para pengrajin terletak pada inovasi motif yang mendukung estetika, kenyamanan, dan kebutuhan pasar. Studi ini mengungkap bagaimana tradisi dan inovasi berjalan beriringan dalam melestarikan warisan perhiasan Pasirjambu sekaligus memperkuat pola kreativitas kewirausahaan.

Abstract

The digital marketing industry in the hospitality sector needs a creative workforce that is able to integrate technical skills with strategic innovation. The Teaching Industry program implemented by the Graphic Design Study Program of Widyatama University in collaboration with Hotel Malaka is designed to overcome the gap between the competencies of graphic design students and industrial needs. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the Teaching Industry program in developing the technical competence of Diploma 4 Graphic Design students through various learning approaches. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis (logbook, portfolio, and performance evaluation). The study involved 17 students working on digital marketing projects, including content planning, graphic design, photography, videography, and social media management during the Odd Semester 2022-2023 to the Odd Semester 2024-2025. The results of the study show that 80% of students have experienced an increase in technical competence, especially in producing visual content, branding strategies, and social media management. Performance evaluation showed that branding design obtained the highest score (86.8), followed by event content creation (85.6). Work-Based Learning, Experiential Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Project-Based Learning approaches have proven to be effective in supporting student skill development. This program has successfully prepared students for the world of work in the creative industry sector, especially digital marketing. This Teaching Industry learning model can be adopted by other educational institutions to answer the industry's need for skilled and innovative creative workers.

Abstract

Manusia merupakan makhluk hidup yang mengalami perkembangan. Perkembangan ini perlu diperhatikan semenjak manusia sedang dalam usia yang masih muda. Usia muda yang dimaksudkan adalah usia 6-10 tahun atau yang biasa disebut dalam dunia pendidikan adalah usia sekolah dasar. pada perkembanganya anak usia sekolah dasar sudah berfikir secara operasional yang diperlihatkan dengan kemampuan anak dalam mengklasifikaiskan benda-benda disekitarnya. Anak usia sekolah memiliki kecenderungan belajar yaitu Konkret, Integratif dan hierarkis. Makna konkret dapat dilihat sebagai bentuk pembelajaran yang memiliki bentuk yang dapat dilihat, didengar, dibaui, diraba dan diotak-atik dengan pemanfaatan lingkungan yang dijadikan sebagai sumber pembelajar yang dapat dimaksimalkan demi hasil pembelajaran yang baik namun anak masih belum memiliki kematangan dalam mengambil informasi yang baik dan buruk. Perkembanan anak ini penting untuk diperhatikan oleh orang tua agar anak dapat berkembang dengan baik. Untuk itulah diperlukan sebuah media yang dapat mengasah keterampilan anak sekaligus menjadi peranan orang tua dalam membimbing anaknya. media yang tepat untuk memecahkan masalah ini ialah dengan pembuatan buku ilustrasi anak. Buku ilustrasi memungkinkan para orang tua untuk membimbing anaknya dalam memberikan pemahaman serta memungkinkan adanya pola berpikir kreatif pada anak.

Abstract

Meme berupa gambar maupun video pendek kini menjadi media komunikasi yang digemari dalam media sosial. Meme digunakan pula untuk menyampaikan isu maupun kritik sosial. Salah satunya adalah meme Text Him First. Meme tersebut mengangkat isu stereotipe gender yang ada dalam masyarakat. Dalam konteksnya meme tersebut memparodikan bagaimana stereotipe gender bisa bertukar bertindak terlebih dahulu. Meme tersebut memiliki banyak versi salah satunya adalah versi pengantin. Meme tersebut akan dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa terdapat narasi mitos bagaimana perempuan dapat berperan menjadi pemimpin yang maskulin dalam suatu hubungan.Kata Kunci: Meme, Semiotika, Stereotipe Gender

Abstract

The creative industry in the hospitality sector faces a huge challenge to innovate in the digital era. The entrepreneurial competence of vocational students is important to meet the needs of the dynamic world of work. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Teaching Industry program in developing the entrepreneurial skills of students of the Diploma Program in Graphic Design, Widyatama University through a case study at the Malaka Hotel Bandung for the 2022–2024 period. This Teaching Industry program is designed using the Work-Based Learning approach  to provide real work experience, Experiential Learning for hands-on learning, Collaborative Learning to train teamwork, and Project-Based Learning to complete tasks in the field of digital marketing, such as content planning, graphic design, photography, videography, and social media management. This study uses a mixed method, with a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and document analysis (logbook, internship report, work presentation, and performance evaluation), as well as a quantitative approach through questionnaires and evaluation of supervisors. The results of the study showed the development of student entrepreneurship indicators, namely: 1) leadership collaboration and teamwork (88%), 2) motivation and confidence in achievement (82%), 3) initiative and courage to take risks (76%), and 4) independence and responsibility (70%). Overall, the program recorded a 79% success rate. Of the 17 students who participated, 3 of them were successfully recommended as contract employees, including 1 student who was recruited as a member of the Malacca Hotel Digital Marketing team. This program is effective in improving digital marketing technical skills as well as teamwork, leadership, and project management skills relevant to the needs of the creative industry.

Abstract

This research is entitled Design Aesthetics in the Effectiveness of Visual Communication (Analysis of Event Poster Finder #3 DKV UPI). It is motivated by the need for visual communication in the DKV UPI Dies Natalis event to understand the role of design elements and principles in a poster as a promotional media. Visual communication is a key element in creating effective posters and illustrations, especially when promoting events. This article analyzes the effectiveness of visual communication in the promotional poster design for the 3rd Dies Natalis event "FINDER 3" Visual Communication Design (DKV) learning program, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). This study examines how design elements such as typography, color, composition, and imagery are used to communicate messages effectively to target audiences. This study uses a qualitative approach with an analysis of design aesthetics in the form of design elements and design principles to understand how meaning is conveyed through visual elements. The study shows that the use of contrasting colors, typography, and balanced composition play an important role in attracting attention and making messages easier to understand. Illustrations that match the theme of the event are also important elements in adding to the appeal of posters. This article is expected to contribute to more effective and informative visual communication design practices in the future.

Abstract

This study explores the effects of drawing-based media stimulation on the creativity and cognitive development of early childhood learners. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research was structured in two phases: the first conducted prior to any form of intervention, and the second carried out after the introduction of stimulus-based images aligned with thematic learning materials. The analysis revealed a significant enhancement in various creative and cognitive indicators. Children demonstrated a broader diversity of ideas, greater spontaneity in expressing visual concepts, and a more confident use of varied colors to represent emotions, forms, and imaginative scenes. Additionally, their visual accuracy and coherence improved noticeably, especially in depicting objects or themes previously presented by the teacher. Beyond technical improvements, the findings indicate that drawing activities function as multidimensional learning tools. They encourage children to engage in reflective thinking, strengthen memory recall, and support the development of early symbolic understanding. Drawing also provides a low-pressure environment where children can construct meaning, externalize thoughts, and exercise problem-solving skills through experimentation with shapes, lines, and compositions. Overall, this study affirms that drawing-based stimulation is not merely an artistic activity but a pedagogical medium that nurtures cognitive growth, emotional expression, and foundational intellectual development during early childhood.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a vital component of the Indonesian economy. MSMEs have proven to significantly contribute to employment, increase public income, and enhance the country's economic resilience. However, MSMEs still face several obstacles in developing their businesses, particularly in implementing digital technology, online marketing, and ensuring easy access for consumers. Many MSME entrepreneurs in Bandung City still rely on traditional promotional methods such as word of mouth, exhibitions, or distributing brochures, which are less effective in reaching a wider market. This study designs and develops an Android-based marketplace application called Salapak, which serves as a platform for promoting and selling MSME products in Kawaluyaan, Bandung City. The development method used in this study was Agile Extreme Programming, which allowed for a more flexible and faster development process, involving direct collaboration with users. Data collection was conducted through field observations, interviews, documentation, and direct evaluations of MSMEs and relevant agencies. The research results show that the Salapak application has been an effective solution in helping MSMEs expand their marketing reach, increase the visibility of superior products, and make it easier for consumers to find and purchase MSME products digitally. The application also provides automatic notification features, a shopping cart, a product catalog, a product detail page, and an emailed invoice page. For further development, it is recommended to add digital payment integration features, improve the UI/UX, implement delivery tracking, and incorporate an artificial intelligence-based product recommendation system.
