Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of the transformational leadership style of the principal on teacher motivation and performance at SDN Segugus 1, Sindangkasih Subdistrict, Ciamis Regency. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, all teachers were included in the population, and the sample was selected purposively. Data were obtained through a closed questionnaire and analyzed using path analysis. The results indicate that transformational leadership style significantly influences teacher motivation (p = 0.000) and performance (p = 0.000), and motivation also significantly influences performance (p = 0.007). Leadership elements such as ideal influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and personal attention were found to promote professionalism and work enthusiasm among teachers. These findings emphasize the importance of effective leadership in improving the quality of educators in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya siswa dalam menumbuhkan nilai tanggung jawab dalam pembelajaran dan terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran digital yang memuat karakter khususnya dalam pembelajaran PAI kelas III. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berupa e-book cerita bergambar yang memuat materi tanggung jawab untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran, baik disekolah maupun dirumah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kebutuhan, rancangan, kelayakan, respon siswa dan pemahaman siswa mengenai e-book cerita bergambar untuk menumbuhkan nilai tanggung jawab siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI kelas III sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, validasi para ahli, angket respon guru dan siswa, serta pemahaman siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa SDN 1 Nagarawangi dan SDN 1 Karanglayung dengan jumlah 39 siswa. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi, bahasa, dan media mendapatkan penilaian rata-rata 83,50%. Hal ini dibuktikan juga dengan hasil angket respon guru dan siswa terhadap e-book cerita bergambar serta pemahaman siswa. Respon guru dari kedua sekolah mendapatkan rata-rata 100% dengan kategori sangat layak. Respon siswa dari kedua sekolah mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 97% dengan kategori sangat layak. Adapun pemahaman siswa mengenai materi tanggung jawab dengan menggunakan e-book cerita bergambar dinilai sangat baik membantu siswa memahami materi pelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli, hasil uji coba respon dan hasil pemahaman siswa dari seluruh aspek memenuhi kategori sangat layak dan e-book cerita bergambar dapat di gunakan disekolah dalam pembelajaran serta dapat menumbuhkan nilai tanggung jawab siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI kelas III sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic values into general subjects at the elementary level is increasingly recognized as a necessary approach to fostering balanced intellectual, moral, and spiritual development among students. This study aims to explore the role and implementation of such integration as a means of forming holistic character in young learners. This research adopts a literature review method, synthesizing data from scholarly books, journal articles, and research reports relevant to the integration of Islamic values in general education. The review focuses on theoretical concepts, previous empirical findings, implementation strategies, and current challenges. The findings reveal three key pillars essential to successful integration: (1) enhancing students' contextual understanding of Islamic values by linking them to relevant content in subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Language; (2) fostering holistic character development by embedding ethical and spiritual dimensions into cognitive learning; and (3) identifying effective strategies to address implementation challenges, including teacher training, curriculum development, and the cultivation of a religious school culture. Despite barriers such as limited teacher capacity, insufficient instructional materials, and perceived curriculum overload, the integration of Islamic values has shown significant potential to close the gap between religious and secular education. Through targeted interventions—such as professional development, integrative textbooks, and community involvement—schools can create environments that promote ethical behavior, critical thinking, and spiritual awareness simultaneously. The study concludes that Islamic values integration in general subjects is not merely an educational enrichment, but a transformative strategy for shaping morally grounded and intellectually capable future generations.

Abstract

Pusa Pusat Kertas merupakan proyek perancangan media informasi pameran arsipyang bertujuan untuk mendokumentasikan secara mendalam eksplorasi medium kertas dalamkarya-karya almarhum Setiawan Sabana. Pameran ini hadir sebagai upaya pelestarian terhadaparsip-arsip yang sebelumnya tersimpan secara terpencar dan belum tertata. Selain itu, proyekini juga bertujuan menyajikan arsip tersebut dalam bentuk media yang kontekstual, komunikatif,dan relevan bagi khalayak masa kini. Melalui pendekatan metode kualitatif termasukwawancara, observasi lapangan, studi pustaka, dan diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD)perancangan ini menghasilkan berbagai media, seperti katalog fisik berbentuk eksperimental,buklet narasi, poster visual, serta buku program acara. Semua media ini dirancang untukmemperkuat pengalaman pengunjung pameran, memperluas jangkauan akses terhadap arsip,dan menghidupkan kembali pemikiran serta gagasan artistik Setiawan Sabana melaluipendekatan visual berbasis kertas. Abstract

Masih banyak diantara anak dan remaja di Indonesia yang tidak memahamipentingnya kebersihan diri serta lingkungan. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari semakin maraknya kasuspenyakit menular seperti diare, cacingan, bahkan ISPA berdasar pada pola hidup yang kurangbersih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat masalah penggunaan komik sebagai mediapembelajaran agar bisa menyampaikan materi kebersihan dan kesehatan kepada anak disekolah dasar. Pemilihan komik sebagai media karena dapat memberikan pesan melalui ceritaserta visual yang menarik diminati anak dengan karakter berhubungan dekat mengenaiaktivitas sehari-hari mereka. Adapun metode yang akan pakai pada penelitian ini, yaitumetode yang berjenis kualitatif, kombinasi studi wawancara dan tahap perencanaan danproses studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suatu bahan ajar dalam bentukkomik mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak dan merangsang daya pikir kreatif merekaserta efektif dalam menerapkan konsep PHBS dalam tingkah laku sehari-hari di sepanjangpendidikan dasar. Diharapkan karya komik ini dapat memperkaya pengembangan mediaserupa di daerah lain.Kata Kunci: Anak-Anak, Kebersihan, dan Kesehatan

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman anak-anak kepada hal-hal atau keilmuan yang rumit, serta kurangnya media pendukung pembelajaran seputar ilmu geologi untuk anak usia 7-11 tahun yang efektif dan menarik. Penelitian tugas akhir ini merancang buku ilustrasi yang mengusung tema utama geologi Cekungan Bandung melalui cerita visual berdasarkan masalah lingkungan yang relevan dengan masyarakat dan lingkungan Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui literasi penelitian dan jurnal, wawancara, observasi, dan analisis media sejenis. Buku ini dirancang dengan ilustrasi dan narasi yang sederhana, visual lansekap dan suasana yang dominan untuk memceritakan proses kejadian alam kepada anak. Perancangan buku ilustrasi ini menyederhanakan konsep geologi Cekungan Bandung yang kompleks menjadi media edukatif yang menarik dan ilustratif. Kombinasi ilustrasi visual dan narasi sederhana terbukti cocok untuk anak, dalam menyampaikan materi serta membangkitkan minat belajar dan kepedulian lingkungan, serta dapat menjadi alat bantu bagi orang tua dan pendidik dalam mengajarkan materi geologi dan kepekaan lingkungan sejak dini. Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis articulate storyline 3 yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan dan kepraktisan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila di Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang diguanakan ialah Design Based Research (DBR) yang mencakup empat tahapan utama, yaitu: 1) Identifikasi dan analisis masalah, 2) Pengembangan prototype program, 3) Uji coba dan implementasi 4) Refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen, dan angket. Produk yang dihasilkan kemudian divalidasi oleh para ahli meliputi ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli pedagogik. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata yang didapatkan adalah 87,5% dari ahli media, skor rata-rata 94,66% dari ahli materi, dan skor rata-rata 95,73% dari ahli pedagogik. Selain itu, respon siswa pada uji coba pertama mendapatkan skor rata-rata 95,62% dan pada uji coba kedua mendapatkan skor rata-rata 97,19%. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dari para validator dan respon siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa media interaktif berbasis articulate storyline 3 dinyatakan sangat layak dan sangat praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

In the 21st century, digital technology is becoming increasingly important in everyday life. Likewise, in the learning process in primary schools, technology has become an essential tool to support and improve the quality of education. However, the use of digital technology in education has not shown consistently good effectiveness, especially in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. This study aims to assess the effectiveness and identify the challenges and barriers of using technology in EFL learning in primary schools. The research method used is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory strategy. The results showed that 55% of digital technology use was considered effective, and 50% of teachers reported using digital technology several times a week. The most commonly used tools included laptops, projectors, and internet access, though usage patterns varied. Challenges frequently faced by teachers include limited access to devices, unstable internet connections, insufficient training, and lack of technical support. Despite these issues, many teachers demonstrated initiative and creativity in utilizing available resources, though their strategies often lacked structured pedagogical alignment. The findings highlight the importance of professional development focused on the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, which supports teachers in integrating technology meaningfully within EFL instruction. While the overall use of digital technology in primary school learning has reached a moderately effective level, targeted support is needed to help educators align digital tools with language learning goals, especially in under-resourced settings. Addressing these gaps will enable more impactful and inclusive integration of digital technology in EFL education.

Abstract

The limited learning resources used by teachers in the classroom and the inability of teachers to use technology as a learning tool are the main causes of students' disinterest in learning. To increase the interest of fourth grade elementary school students in Civics, this research aims to create interactive learning materials based on the Artiqulate Storyline thematic map. The five steps of the ADDIE development model of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation form the basis of this research methodology. A total of 15 students, media experts, and material experts are the subjects in this study. Three data collection methods were used: questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Descriptive and categorical data analysis was used to determine the feasibility of the media created. With the findings from the material expert testing of 92% which is classified as very good, and from the media expert of 94% which can also be classified as very good, the research results obtained by Artiqulate Storyline-based interactive media can be declared feasible. Meanwhile, the statement is considered valid based on the findings of the student questionnaire response sheet, which shows that the average validity result of r count for the validation level of the student learning interest questionnaire is 0.598. With a reliability value of 0.925, it falls into the excellent category as well. Based on the results of the trial, this interactive media with Artiqulate Storyline is suitable for use by teachers to support the delivery of material and encourage student enthusiasm.

Abstract

The Child Friendly School (CFS) concept aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment that fosters optimal child development. However, the communication of CFS values is generally still verbal and has not been maximized through communicative visual approaches. This study aims to design educational murals as a medium for visualizing CFS values within an elementary school environment. The research was conducted at Al-Amanah Islamic Elementary School in Cileunyi, Bandung. A qualitative-descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results show that murals designed with a cheerful, communicative, and age-appropriate visual style are expected to represent child-friendly facilities and infrastructure while promoting values such as religiosity, enthusiasm for learning, and the habituation of the 6 S behaviors: smile, greet, say hello, be polite, be courteous, be cheerful, anti-bullying and cooperation. These mural not only enhance the physical appearance of the school environment but also serve as an indirect learning medium that encourages character building in students. This study recommends educational murals as an effective visual strategy to support the sustainable implementation of Child Friendly Schools.Keywords: Child Friendly School, educational mural, visual communication design, elementary education
