Abstract

Interaksi visual yang mendalam dengan khalayak sasaran telah menjadi ciri khas dari komik digital Instagram, khususnya dalam karya Tahilalats, yang secara efektif memanfaatkan kapasitas interaktif platform untuk memvisualisasikan nostalgia masa kecil. Melalui gambar-gambar dan narasi yang menarik, Tahilalats berhasil membawa kembali kenangan masa kanak-kanak yang polos dan penuh keceriaan bagi para pembacanya. Format digital Instagram tidak hanya menjadikan karya ini lebih mudah diakses di seluruh dunia, tetapi juga memperkuat interaksi dua arah yang menciptakan ikatan antara komikus dan pembaca, membangun komunitas yang solid di antara mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa penceritaan visual yang dihadirkan oleh Tahilalats sangat efektif dalam membangkitkan emosi dan membangun hubungan yang lebih dalam dengan khalayak sasaran. Lebih jauh lagi, strategi ini memungkinkan komikus untuk berbagi berbagai narasi dengan cara cepat secara langsung, memberikan sudut pandang yang berharga dalam ranah kreatif. Karya komik digital Tahilalats dapat membawa kembali kenangan masa kecil melalui komik digital di Instagram menjadi contoh penting dari pengaruh kuat budaya digital dengan visualisasi dan penceritaan terhadap keterlibatan khalayak sasaran dan ikatan emosional. Kata kunci: Interaksi visual, Instagram, komik digital Abstract: Deep visual interaction with the target audience has become a hallmark of Instagram digital comics, particularly in the work of Tahilalats, which effectively leverages the platform's interactive capacity to visualize childhood nostalgia. Through engaging images and narratives, Tahilalats manages to bring back memories of childhood innocence and joy to its readers. The digital format of Instagram not only makes the work more accessible worldwide, but also strengthens the two-way interaction that creates a bond between comic artists and readers, building a solid community between them. This research using qualitative techniques shows that the visual storytelling presented by Tahilalats is highly effective in evoking emotions and building a deeper connection with the target audience. Furthermore, this strategy allows comic artists to share various narratives quickly and directly, providing a valuable perspective in the creative realm. Tahilalats' work of bringing back childhood memories through digital comics on Instagram is an important example of the strong influence of digital culture with visualization and storytelling on target audience engagement and emotional bonding. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of elementary school teachers as the basis for developing a peer tutor-based digital module to improve their digital skills and self-efficacy. The background of this research is the limited ability of teachers to utilize digital technology in learning and their low self-confidence in using technology. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Ciranca, Tasikmalaya, using a qualitative approach with needs analysis methods. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed thematically. The results showed that teachers’ digital skills were in the poor to moderate category. Teachers felt less confident in integrating technology into learning and solving technical problems, although they had good motivation to improve their digital competence. Teachers also showed a very high need for a practical, accessible, and interactive peer tutor-based digital module. The results of this analysis serve as an important foundation for designing a digital module that is responsive to teachers’ needs in supporting the strengthening of their digital skills and self-efficacy. This research is expected to contribute to the development of science and technology in the field of education, especially in preparing collaboration-based professional development modules for teachers. Abstract

This study explores the role of transformational leadership among principals in effectively implementing digital learning within elementary educational institutions in Indonesia. The urgency of digital transformation in education, especially after the pandemic, highlights the need for leadership to align vision, motivation, and infrastructure to support sustainable pedagogical innovation. The study examines how transformational leadership practices influence the development of digital learning ecosystems at the school level, particularly by fostering teacher empowerment, professional growth, and strategic resource mobilisation. This research systematically identifies, evaluates, and synthesises empirical studies and theoretical frameworks relevant to transformational leadership and digital learning using a literature review methodology. Data were collected through document analysis of peer-reviewed journal articles and academic publications. Following Braun and Clarke’s six-phase model, thematic analysis was employed to identify key patterns and concepts. The results reveal four major themes: (1) the importance of a shared and inspirational vision for digital transformation, (2) leadership strategies to motivate and support teacher-led innovation, (3) the promotion of intellectual stimulation and continuous professional development, and (4) the mobilisation of digital infrastructure and material resources. These findings suggest that transformational leadership fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and responsiveness, positioning schools to adapt effectively to technological and educational change. The study concludes that sustained principal commitment, strategic leadership, and supportive conditions are essential for embedding digital learning as a core element of school development.

Abstract

Narrative writing is important to train learners' word choice and imagination development, as well as the ability to use simple language that is easy to understand. However, teachers often find it difficult to assess learners' learning outcomes related to narrative writing skills. This study aims to design a rubric for assessing narrative text writing skills using the design-based research method (Reeves model). The steps include problem identification, solution prototype development, iterative process, and reflection. The rubric was piloted on two learners' narrative text writing and assessed by five observers. Before the pilot test, the product was validated by assessment experts (87.5% very feasible) and material experts (80% feasible). The results of the rubric trial showed the probability value of Kendall's W <0.05 (Asymp.Sig SB 0.046 and HF 0.019), indicating that the rubric can be used. In addition, the teacher response questionnaire shows that the rubric facilitates teachers in assessing learners' work in a structured, fair manner and simplifies the assessment process. The rubric also helps teachers provide more specific and targeted feedback to learners. This finding supports efforts to improve the quality of authentic assessment in the Merdeka Curriculum. Further development can be directed at digitizing the rubric to make it more practical and easily accessible. This research makes a real contribution to improving teacher competence in conducting assessments. The developed rubric can also reference other teachers who are making similar assessment instruments. Thus, the results of this study have high applicability in daily learning practices in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze school library management through the formation of a school literacy team at SD Negeri 1 Cimanggu, Pangandaran. The focus of the research includes planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring school library management in an effort to improve students' literacy culture. The method used was a qualitative case study, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations and documentation studies. Research informants included the principal, librarian, teachers and members of the school literacy team. The results showed that the formation of the school literacy team plays a strategic role in optimizing library management, both in terms of services, collection procurement and maintenance, and reading habituation programs. In addition, clear coordination and division of tasks within the literacy team can create a learning environment conducive to literacy learning. The main challenges faced were limited resources and students' interest in reading, which were overcome by developing creative and innovative programs. This study concludes that school library management through the formation of a literacy team can strengthen the library's role as a learning center and build a culture of literacy in the school environment. As a recommendation, schools need to provide ongoing training and facility support for literacy teams to make library management more professional and have an impact on increasing students' reading interest and achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of the transformational leadership style of the principal on teacher motivation and performance at SDN Segugus 1, Sindangkasih Subdistrict, Ciamis Regency. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, all teachers were included in the population, and the sample was selected purposively. Data were obtained through a closed questionnaire and analyzed using path analysis. The results indicate that transformational leadership style significantly influences teacher motivation (p = 0.000) and performance (p = 0.000), and motivation also significantly influences performance (p = 0.007). Leadership elements such as ideal influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and personal attention were found to promote professionalism and work enthusiasm among teachers. These findings emphasize the importance of effective leadership in improving the quality of educators in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya siswa dalam menumbuhkan nilai tanggung jawab dalam pembelajaran dan terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran digital yang memuat karakter khususnya dalam pembelajaran PAI kelas III. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berupa e-book cerita bergambar yang memuat materi tanggung jawab untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran, baik disekolah maupun dirumah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kebutuhan, rancangan, kelayakan, respon siswa dan pemahaman siswa mengenai e-book cerita bergambar untuk menumbuhkan nilai tanggung jawab siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI kelas III sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, validasi para ahli, angket respon guru dan siswa, serta pemahaman siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa SDN 1 Nagarawangi dan SDN 1 Karanglayung dengan jumlah 39 siswa. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi, bahasa, dan media mendapatkan penilaian rata-rata 83,50%. Hal ini dibuktikan juga dengan hasil angket respon guru dan siswa terhadap e-book cerita bergambar serta pemahaman siswa. Respon guru dari kedua sekolah mendapatkan rata-rata 100% dengan kategori sangat layak. Respon siswa dari kedua sekolah mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 97% dengan kategori sangat layak. Adapun pemahaman siswa mengenai materi tanggung jawab dengan menggunakan e-book cerita bergambar dinilai sangat baik membantu siswa memahami materi pelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli, hasil uji coba respon dan hasil pemahaman siswa dari seluruh aspek memenuhi kategori sangat layak dan e-book cerita bergambar dapat di gunakan disekolah dalam pembelajaran serta dapat menumbuhkan nilai tanggung jawab siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI kelas III sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic values into general subjects at the elementary level is increasingly recognized as a necessary approach to fostering balanced intellectual, moral, and spiritual development among students. This study aims to explore the role and implementation of such integration as a means of forming holistic character in young learners. This research adopts a literature review method, synthesizing data from scholarly books, journal articles, and research reports relevant to the integration of Islamic values in general education. The review focuses on theoretical concepts, previous empirical findings, implementation strategies, and current challenges. The findings reveal three key pillars essential to successful integration: (1) enhancing students' contextual understanding of Islamic values by linking them to relevant content in subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Language; (2) fostering holistic character development by embedding ethical and spiritual dimensions into cognitive learning; and (3) identifying effective strategies to address implementation challenges, including teacher training, curriculum development, and the cultivation of a religious school culture. Despite barriers such as limited teacher capacity, insufficient instructional materials, and perceived curriculum overload, the integration of Islamic values has shown significant potential to close the gap between religious and secular education. Through targeted interventions—such as professional development, integrative textbooks, and community involvement—schools can create environments that promote ethical behavior, critical thinking, and spiritual awareness simultaneously. The study concludes that Islamic values integration in general subjects is not merely an educational enrichment, but a transformative strategy for shaping morally grounded and intellectually capable future generations.

Abstract

Pusa Pusat Kertas merupakan proyek perancangan media informasi pameran arsipyang bertujuan untuk mendokumentasikan secara mendalam eksplorasi medium kertas dalamkarya-karya almarhum Setiawan Sabana. Pameran ini hadir sebagai upaya pelestarian terhadaparsip-arsip yang sebelumnya tersimpan secara terpencar dan belum tertata. Selain itu, proyekini juga bertujuan menyajikan arsip tersebut dalam bentuk media yang kontekstual, komunikatif,dan relevan bagi khalayak masa kini. Melalui pendekatan metode kualitatif termasukwawancara, observasi lapangan, studi pustaka, dan diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD)perancangan ini menghasilkan berbagai media, seperti katalog fisik berbentuk eksperimental,buklet narasi, poster visual, serta buku program acara. Semua media ini dirancang untukmemperkuat pengalaman pengunjung pameran, memperluas jangkauan akses terhadap arsip,dan menghidupkan kembali pemikiran serta gagasan artistik Setiawan Sabana melaluipendekatan visual berbasis kertas. Abstract

Masih banyak diantara anak dan remaja di Indonesia yang tidak memahamipentingnya kebersihan diri serta lingkungan. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari semakin maraknya kasuspenyakit menular seperti diare, cacingan, bahkan ISPA berdasar pada pola hidup yang kurangbersih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengangkat masalah penggunaan komik sebagai mediapembelajaran agar bisa menyampaikan materi kebersihan dan kesehatan kepada anak disekolah dasar. Pemilihan komik sebagai media karena dapat memberikan pesan melalui ceritaserta visual yang menarik diminati anak dengan karakter berhubungan dekat mengenaiaktivitas sehari-hari mereka. Adapun metode yang akan pakai pada penelitian ini, yaitumetode yang berjenis kualitatif, kombinasi studi wawancara dan tahap perencanaan danproses studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suatu bahan ajar dalam bentukkomik mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak dan merangsang daya pikir kreatif merekaserta efektif dalam menerapkan konsep PHBS dalam tingkah laku sehari-hari di sepanjangpendidikan dasar. Diharapkan karya komik ini dapat memperkaya pengembangan mediaserupa di daerah lain.Kata Kunci: Anak-Anak, Kebersihan, dan Kesehatan
