Abstrak. This study aims to describe the language attitudes of Kindergarten teachers towards the use of their mother tongue. To find out, researchers used three components of language attitudes, namely: conative components, affective components and cognitive components. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The focus of the research refers to the language attitude of the Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten teachers in Kec. Pattallasang Kab. Takalar. The research subject is Kemala Bhayangkari Kindergarten teacher consisting of 15 people. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The questionnaire used on the Likert scale in the form of a check consists of 20 items. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire, the type of questionnaire used in this study is a closed question. Based on the results of the research data, the percentage of the cognitive component of the Kindergarten teacher towards the use of the mother tongue is in the positive category seen from the percentage consisting of 7 statement items. In the data, the percentage of the affective component consists of 8 statement items indicating that they are in the positive category. In the data, the percentage of the conative component of the Kindergarten teacher towards the use of the mother tongue is in the positive category seen from the percentage consisting of 5 statement items. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mendorong kualitas kesantunan berbahasa bugis dalam pembelajaran siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Donri-donri. Jenis dan desain penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa ucapan yang berupa kata, frasa, kalimat yang disampaikan oleh siswa dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa daerah di SMP Negeri 2 Donri-donri. Data tersebut dapat diperoleh didalam diskusi, interaksi dan komunikasi antar siswa ke siswa. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan berkaitan dengan Faktor-faktor yang mendorong kualitas kesantunan berbahasa yaitu hubungan kekerabatan dengan mitra tutur, kurangnya rasa homat terhadap lawan tutur, faktor kesengajaan, faktor kebiasaan siswa. Kata Kunci : Kesantunan, Berbahasa, Faktor-faktor

Abstrak. Lipaq sabbe merupakan salah satu pelengkap tradisi yang ada di Kabupaten Wajo dikarenakan masyarakat Bugis menjadikan lipaq sabbe sebagai suatu pakaian yang digunakan dalam ritual khusus. Selain itu, lipaq sabbe juga memiliki makna yang terkandung di dalam Balonya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna tanda Balo Lipaq Sabbe menurut memori kolektif masyarakat di Wajo dengan menggunakan teori semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Jenis dan desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat belas macam Balo Lipaq dengan makna yang termuat di dalamnya. Balo tersebut terdiri balo tettong, balo mallo’bang, Balo coboq, Balo bombang,balo bunga lagosi, Balo batu maesa, Balo cacaq wali, Balo phinisi, Balo lontara, Balo renni. Makna filosofi yang terkandung di dalam Balo lipaq sabbe tersebut adalah kebangsawanan, keindahan, keberanian, ketuhanan. Kata Kunci: Balo Lipaq Sabbe, makna, Semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk gaya bahasa dalam ceramah Bugis Ustadz Amirullah Amri pada media youtube. Jenis dan desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah vidio ceramah Bugis Ustadz Amirullah Amri yang mengandung gaya bahasa pada media Youtube. Teknik yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini berupa teknik dokumentasi, dan teknik baca. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat gaya bahasa perumpamaan berjumlah 4 data, gaya bahasa metafora terdapat 2 data, gaya bahasa hiperbola terdapat 5 data, gaya bahasa sarkasme terdapat 2 data, kemudian gaya bahasa antiklimaks terdapat 2 data, dan terakhir gaya bahasa klimaks terdapat 2 data. Diantara beberapa jenis gaya bahasa yang ditemukan, gaya bahasa perumpamaan dan hiperbola lebih cenderung diungkapkan atau dominan digunakan oleh penceramah karena ceramah tersebut sangat sering memakai ungkapan yang melebih-lebihkan dan membandingkan suatu hal. Abstract. Penelitian The background of this research is that the composition of loyalty within the scope of social life has not yet been achieved, so that there is still someone in their social interactions who have a lack of self-confidence, hopelessness and divorce can occur. Instilling loyalty in a person by following the times can be through literary works created through the imagination of authors who are motivated by facts in social life. One form of literary work that can be used as an inculcation of the value of loyalty is Elong. One form of this type of literary work has an appeal because its content uses local poetic languages so that it can convey messages in a unique way. This research is a type of qualitative research that examines the value of loyalty in Elong Ugi Assimellereng by using a semiotic approach and its relevance in learning the language and literature of the Bugis region. The data source uses primary data with reading and note-taking techniques which are analyzed using the semiotics of markers and signifiers Ferdinand De Saussure. The results of this study indicate that 1) the value of loyalty in Elong Ugi Assimellereng, namely there are 18 Elong verses that show the value of loyalty to promises and to self. 2) Elong Ugi has relevance to the folklore course (oral literature) with learning materials for rhymes and folk poetry, folk prose stories (Mite, Legend and fairy tales) Keywords: Loyalty, Elong Ugi Assimellereng, Semiotics, learning

Abstract. This study aims to determine how the use of Bugis language in the interaction of class X students at SMA AL-IHSAN Lekopancing during the learning process and outside of learning hours (rest). The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is done by observation. The data in this study are data obtained from utterances in the form of words, phrases and sentences conveyed by class X students of SMA AL-Ihsan Lekopancing when interacting with other students. The source of data in this study is when interacting at school using Bugis language. Research data collection techniques from observations or observations. The results of this study show that students can interact using Bugis when the interlocutor is also able to use Buginese, in addition, the use of language is also influenced by situational factors, namely students speak in what language, to whom, when, where. , and about what problem.Keywords: Usage, Language, Buginese

Abstract. This study aims to describe the grammatical interpretation in elong Ugi Mappadendang by using Frederich Schleirmacher's Hermeneutics theory. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The source of the research is elong Ugi Mappadendang which was created by Abdullah Alamudi and Andi Siti Nurhani Sapada, while the object of the research is the words and phrases in the text that are included in Frederich Schleirmacher's Hermeneutics theory. The results of the study indicate that there is a grammatical interpretation through the existence of parables, repetition, emphasis and word linkages that describe the Bugis people who are diligent and work hard to fulfill their needs in order to survive, regarding previous beliefs in the existence of Gods who give blessings and salvation, and the imposition is mandatory and brings goodness and the participation of the Bugis community in carrying out the Mappadendang tradition so that the preservation of the Mappadendang tradition grows in the Bugis community.Keywords: Grammatical Interpretation, Hermeneutics, Mappadendang

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the comments of Indonesian netizens in responding to the Covid-19 vaccine news using the Discourse Analysis theory by Teun A. Van Dijk, but focused on analyzing the dimensions of the text which consists of three parts, namely macro structure, superstructure and micro structure. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive design. The data on the written comments of Indonesian netizens who responded to news related to the Covid-19 vaccine shared on Instagram IDN Times. The primary data source was obtained from Instagram on one of the national mainstream media portal accounts, namely IDN Times which reported on the Covid-19 vaccine. The results of this study indicate that netizens in the IDN Times Instagram comment column tend to be against the Covid-19 vaccine. Netizens who are against vaccines interpret vaccines as a government business field and are dangerous, while netizens who are pro-vaccine interpret vaccines as being able to increase immunity so they can protect themselves and those around them. The text of netizen comments is easy to understand even though they use non-formal language. The vocabulary of terms used by netizens is also easy to understand and used to find communication between people. The emphasis of the message used by netizens is that they tend to use all capital letters in one sentence or some of their vocabulary. Keywords: Netizen, Vaksin Covid-19, Analisis Wacana

Abstract. This study aims to describe the form of intertextual relationship between the Dilan 1991 Novel and the Dilan 1991 Film and the process of ecranization of the novel into the Dilan 199 film. This research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that in the form of intertextual relationships the novel and Dilan 1991 film are permutative by comparing, aligning, and contrasting. The comparison includes characters and characterizations as well as settings in novels and films. Similarities include themes, plots, characters & characterizations, point of view, and messages. The contrast that occurs is that the Dilan 1991 Novel by Pidi Baiq is a hypogram of the Dilan 1991 Film by Fajar Bustomi called affirmation. The process of ecranization of the novel into the Dilan 1991 film went through three stages, namely reduction, addition, and change of variation. The downsizing includes Milea telling the story of meeting Dilan, the story about Dilan with Wati and Piyan, Beni visiting Milea's house in Bandung, Pak Dedi and Milea going home together, the Reformation Event, and Milea's current condition. Additions to the film include Dilan visiting Milea's house. Varied changes in the film include changes in story visualization so that the description of the storyline is more variedKeywords: Novel, Film, Ecranization

Abstract: This study aims to describe the value of local wisdom pappaseng to riolo Bugis in the book Local Cultural Wisdom by Kaimuddin Mabbaco using three stages, namely, understanding symbols, giving symbol meanings, and thinking symbols. This research is qualitative, the source of this research data is in the form of text from pappaseng to riolo Bugis from the book Local Cultural Wisdom by Kaimuddin Mabaco. The abbreviation used in this pnelitian is Paul Ricoeur's Hermeneutics, the results of the study show the existence of meaning interpretation using the 3 stages of Paul Ricoeur's Hermeneutics method, namely the understanding of symbols, the giving of symbol meanings, and symbol thinking each interpretation is an attempt to dismantle the veiled meanings in the value of pappaseng wisdom is the result of the meaning of the pappaseng text to find out what local wisdom values are contained in the pappaseng to riolo Bugis text in the book of local cultural wisdom by Kaimuddin Mabbaco Keywords: Hermeneutics, the value of local wisdom, pappaseng.
