Abstract

Kelompok Tani Hutan adalah kumpulan petani yang mengelola usaha di bidang kehutanan di dalam dan di luar kawasan hutan. Kelompok Tani Hutan dibentuk bertujuan memberikan peluang pendapatan masyarakat dengan menjaga kelestarian hutan. Permasalahan kelompok tani hutan dalam menggarap lahan hutan adalah belum memiliki peta jalur pengelolaan lahan garapan. Padahal keberadaan peta sebagai dasar pengelolaan Kawasan dan pencegah timbulnya konflik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu Kelompok Tani Hutan dalam membentuk peta jalur pengelolaan lahan garapan kelompok tani hutan Karya Makmur. Jalur yang dipetakan adalah jalur yang biasa dilewati petani Kelompok Tani Hutan Karya Makmur. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di kelompok tani hutan Karya Makmur pada Kawasan hutan Tahura Wan Abdul Rachman. Kegiatan ini juga melibatkan petani Kelompok Tani Hutan Karya Makmur. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah peta jalur pengelolaan lahan garapan kelompok tani hutan Karya Makmur. Lahan Garapan Kelompok Tani Hutan didominasi tanaman Multi-Purpose Tree Species yang dapat dipanen tanpa menebang pohon induk.

Abstract

Sampah adalah penyebab utama pencemaran lingkungan yang menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas keindahan lingkungan. Meningkatnya volume sampah menjadi ancaman serius bagi kelestarian kawasan wisata. Ketidakpedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan yang membuang sampah sembarangan. Perilaku membuang sampah sembarangan juga terjadi di kawasan wisata. Sampah yang berada di kawasan hutan dapat membahayakan satwa. Satwa akan memakan sampah yang dianggap sebagai makanan. Sampah yang termakan akan mengganggu pencernaan satwa yang akhirnya satwa menjadi mati. Sampah yang dibuang sembarangan akan menyebabkan penyakit dan merusak lingkungan. Artikel ini melaporkan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk membersihkan sampah di jalur wisata dari pintu masuk sampai Pusat Lektur Gajah di Taman Nasional Way Kambas. Aksi pembersihan sampah juga melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat sekitar kawasan. Kegiatan ini berhasil mengumpulkan sejumlah besar sampah yang sebagian besar botol minuman. Sampah yang terkumpul akan dibuang keluar kawasan hutan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menjadikan kawasan jadi bersih dari sampah yang membuat satwa terhindar dari memakan sampah yang dapat membahayakannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian beberapa jenis zat pengatur tumbuh alami terhadap pertumbuhan setek tanaman kopi pada media floral foam. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan maret hingga juni 2023 di Laboratorium Lapang Politeknik Negeri Jember. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan RAK faktorial dengan faktor pertama adalah Zat Pengatur Tumbuh Alami yaitu C0 (Kontrol), B1 (Ekstrak Bawang Merah), T1 (Ekstrak Taoge), K1 (Air Kelapa) yang diaplikasikan dengan cara perendaman, dan faktor kedua penggunaan jenis kopi yaitu Ro (Kopi Robusta) dan Ar (Kopi Arabika). Parameter yang diamati pada penelitian ini yaitu persentase setek hidup, persentase setek tumbuh tunas, rerata saat tumbuh tunas, panjang tunas, panjang daun. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan Anova taraf 5% apabila menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda sangat nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut BNJ. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaplikasian air kelapa memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada semua parameter dan penggunaan jenis kopi arabika memiliki pengaruh terbaik pada persentase setek hidup dan rerata saat tumbuh tunas.

Abstract

Perception is the process by which individuals interpret and understand their surroundings based on their experiences, knowledge, and expectations. Students' perception of their teachers is shaped by various factors, including teaching methods, classroom management, attitude, and engagement. These perceptions significantly impact students' motivation, learning experiences, and overall academic performance. In the context of education, students' perception of their teachers plays a significant role in determining their learning experience and academic performance. This study was carried out to determine how students perception on English teachers This study was carried out to determine students' perceptions of English teachers. The research design of this study is qualitative, where data were collected from three English teachers and forty students from classes X, XI, and XII at SMA Brigjend Katamso 2. The researchers conducted interviews and distributed questionnaires to each respondent to gather insights into their views on English teachers' teaching effectiveness and classroom management. In this situation, the teacher must be aware of the approach taken in the learning process, and the students must be able to determine how well the teacher is performing. As a result, English teachers can implement various learning models, classroom management, student motivation, facility use, and positive student experiences; their performance in teaching English is good, according to this study. Additionally, for educational this approach involves the teacher using a learning model that is more in line with the content being taught to the students rather than a unique method. But for the learning process to be successful, educators will innovate and enhance their teaching strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Ilman Wa Ruhan Method in Strengthening the Learning Outcomes of Tahsin Tahfidz Al-Qur'an at SMPIT Al-Qudwah Musi Rawas. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The research location is located at SMPIT Al-Qudwah Musi Rawas South Sumatra. This research data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is based on the analysis theory of Miles, Hubberman and Saldana, namely: data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the Ilman Wa Ruhan method at SMPIT Al-Qudwah Musi Rawas was carried out thoroughly through three main stages: careful planning with the preparation of lesson plans according to JSIT standards, the implementation of learning which included adab, tahsin, and tahfidz material with an interactive and gradual approach, and evaluation carried out formatively and summatively. The Ilman Wa Ruhan method is proven to be effective in strengthening the learning outcomes of tahsin tahfidz al-Qur'an because it is able to form students who are not only fluent in reading and memorization, but also have good manners and spiritual understanding of the Qur'an.

Abstract

Latosol soil has poor chemical properties such as low cation exchange capacity, acid-base character, and low nutrients. The use of latosol soil as a medium for forest plant growth requires the provision of organic matter including the use of chicken manure. The use chicken manure has been widely used and researched. However, the growth of mahony seedlings has not been large or recorded. The study used a completely randomized design method. The treatments consisted of 4 level, control (pure latosol soil), 10% chicken manure, 20% chicken manure, 20% chicken manure, and 30% chicken manure. Growth variables of seedling consisted of stem height, stem diameter, number of leaves, shoot dry weight, root dry weight, total dry weight, root shoot ratio, seed quality index, and chemical properties chicken manure and latosol soil. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and HSD test at 5% significance level. The results showed that 10% chicken Manure treatment had the best affect on stem height (29.92 cm), number of leaves (15.40 strands), shoot dry weight (5.10 g), total dry weight (7.30 g), root shoot ratio (2.55), and seeds quality index (0.22).

Abstract

This study is an in-depth study of the previous year's research which aims to explain in detail about: (i) The process of knowledge creation in the typical batik business in East Java, namely in Jember Regency; (ii) The relationship between knowledge creation and innovation in the typical batik business of East Java, in Jember Regency, which is unique compared to other regions; (iii) Formulating a strategic architecture for the creation of knowledge and company innovation that occurs in the typical batik business of Jember, East Java, Jember from the perspective of knowledge management theory. Data were obtained using observation and in-depth interviews, then analyzed using a descriptive analytical approach. The results of the study found. The process of making batik is generally not carried out in one business unit, but almost every process is separate from one another. The source of innovation comes more from outside because the knowledge creation process in the organization is less than optimal. The knowledge creation that takes place in the Jember batik business is therefore more driven by external factors

Abstract

Since being established as a formal institution through PMA (Minister of Religion Regulation) number 32 of 2020, Ma'had Aly has experienced a dilemma between surviving as an institution that has academic independence or following the standardization of government institutions. The regulation requires stakeholders to take policies that can determine the future of Ma'had Aly. Meanwhile, Ma'had Aly Salafiyah Syafiiyah Situbondo, Ma'had Aly Nurul Jadid Probolinggo and Ma'had Aly Nurul Qodim Probolinggo carried out different strategies in responding to the PMA. Salafiyah Syafiiyah represents an institution with a stable service system, Nurul Jadid has a dynamic character and Nurul Qodim is strategic. Ma'had Aly is an institutionalization of the intellectual tradition of pesantren-campus with a pesantren character as an answer to the fading motivation of students in mastering the turath books (salaf books). Ma'had Aly has more systematic levels, paths, and types compared to Islamic boarding schools. When compared with higher education, ma'had aly has the distinction of mastering turath books and is based on pesantren. The ma'had aly contestation has a strategic position in achieving its institutional goals. The distinction of ma'had aly lies in the standard of inputs, morality, academic, and takhassus. This study intends to unravel the response of ma'had aly as a system in maintaining its identity as a tafaqquh fi al-din institution amid formal legal demands and market penetration. The research question that will be the focus of the discussion is how ma'had aly integrates quality and formal standards.

Abstract

Political uncertainty in Indonesia will threaten domestic political stability and participation. The failure of government performance and high corruption practices are reasons for public despair. Departing from this reality, we thought of an alternative to reduce this despair through civic education in the form of a competition. This competition will be an annual agenda to prepare talented youth in East Java Province, with strong leadership and academic potential. Using the Participatory Learning and Action approach, this service took place over 5 months (November 2022-March 2023).  The final results showed that; all participants showed their best performance in each session, to interpret the 4 pillars of nationality (Pancasila, 1945 Constitution, NKRI, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika). Participants were also able to interpret the nation's problems on the issues of radicalism, nationalism, poverty, and youth through creative ideas. 12 participants won the main award and 10 participants won the best presenter award. All participants also attended a nationality camp, which was supported by the National Unity and Political Agency of Jember Regency.
