Abstract

In general, Islamic Religious Education is an education that leads and teaches the values of Islam and its main target is students who are studying both formal, non-formal and informal education. The importance of the role of PAI teachers to achieve the learning objectives of Islamic Religion which creates intellectual students not only in the field of general knowledge but also in the field of Islamic education. Making PAI teachers have a moral and professional responsibility in improving the hermeneutics of learning materials for students. In this case we want to discuss the role of PAI teachers on the hemeneutics of learning materials at SDIT Al Khawarizmi Tanah Grogot. How to improve hemeneutics in students towards material in the management of learning implemented by educators, especially in Islamic Religious Education learning. This research method uses interviews with several students and PAI teachers. The results of this study want to show that the efforts of PAI teachers in improving the hermeneutics of learning materials in SDIT Alkhawarizmi students are very good.

Abstract

This research is related to issues in the evaluation of student learning outcomes that have not been explored in the aspects of Islamic religious education. The papers scrutinize the role of Islamic religious education teachers in the context of junior secondary schools and the impact of the problems faced by them on the evaluation of student learning outcomes. Through literature review and analysis of secondary data with a case study approach, this research presents a comprehensive picture of the challenges and important role of Islamic religious education teachers in improving students' understanding of Islam and the application of religious values in their daily lives. This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Education teachers in evaluating Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes at SMPN 11 Sungai Tuak Village Tanah Grogot. The study employed qualitative research. Research data were obtained from interviews with PAI teachers at SMPN 11 Sungai Tuak Village Tanah Grogot. Interviews were conducted to obtain information about the role of PAI teachers in evaluating student learning outcomes. The results showed that the type of evaluation applied by PAI teachers, media/tools used in evaluating, PAI activities in the school, methods in evaluating, problems in evaluating, and supporting factors, inhibiting factors and solutions to these problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen berbasis madrasah (MBM) di MTs Hubbul Wathan NW. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala madrasah, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kepala madrasah memegang peran sentral dalam keberhasilan implementasi MBM. Kepemimpinan yang kuat, visi yang jelas dan terarah, serta kemampuan dalam memotivasi dan melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan madrasah, seperti guru, staf, siswa, dan masyarakat, menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen berbasis madrasah. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran strategis kepala madrasah dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify how students from STIT Ibnu Rusyd Tanah Grogot respond to the use of ChatGPT in the academic world, in the context of the role of artificial intelligence (AI) that can support the learning process in Islamic education. This research utilized a mixed-method design comprising quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with 120 students to produce comprehensive data. The results of the investigation show how students view ChatGPT as an effective means of increasing the efficiency of certain tasks and significantly improving their understanding of academic material. However, issues were flagged on over-reliance on AI as well as the accuracy of generated information. According to the study, students' attitudes toward ChatGPT are significantly influenced by their level of digital literacy and adherence to Islamic values. Religious values focusing on academic integrity and critical assessment of value and talent, as thoroughly taught in educational institutions contribute to students' shying off from the AI-generated content unless it aligns with Islamic teaching. Qualitative interviews further showed that students view ChatGPT as a tool to support their studies but still desire human supervision to ensure compliance with ethical and religious standards.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of maqaṣhid syariah, protection of faith, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth, as the foundational framework for developing religious tourism in Madura. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered via participatory observation, in-depth interviews with religious leaders, site managers, pilgrims, and historical document analysis. Findings reveal persistent challenges in access infrastructure, supporting facilities, guide competencies, and limited digital promotion. The study’s novelty lies in a holistic strategy model grounded in maqaṣhid syariah, encompassing site inventory, physical and digital infrastructure enhancement, community and santri empowerment, branding campaigns, stakeholder synergy, and the establishment of a Halal Industrial Zone. Recommendations highlight the sustained implementation of these six integrated measures to cultivate a safe, comfortable, and competitive religious tourism destination that also strengthens local spiritual values and economic welfare.

Abstract

This study is important to conduct with the aim of knowing the implementation and effect of using PowerPoint media on student learning outcomes. This learning media produces an active and focused atmosphere. This type of research is a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest with a quantitative approach. The research population used 36 students of class XI Software and Game Development (PPLG) 1 SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Grogot. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and non-tests, data analysis techniques using validity test, reliability test, normality test, Z test and N-Gain. The conclusion is that there is an implementation of PowerPoint media on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education class XI SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Grogot with an N-Gain increase value of 0.8317 or equivalent to 83% of the high category. There is an effect of increasing the use of PowerPoint media on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education class XI SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Grogot with Zcount 0.189 < Ztabel 1.96. For further researchers, it is expected to examine more sources and references used related to the effect of using PowerPoint media on student learning outcomes so that the research can be better and more complete, further researchers can also develop research by examining the latest version of PowerPoint as a material consideration to further deepen further research either on other subjects or on other aspects.

Abstract

The study of methodology in Islamic studies has undergone a significant change from the traditional approach that focuses on textual and normative analysis to a more multidisciplinary and sophisticated paradigm. With the integration of epistemology, phenomenology, hermeneutics, and empirical techniques, the understanding of Islam as a religion now encompasses a broader social, cultural, and historical dimension. To achieve this goal, Systematic Literature Review (SLR) reviews are conducted using methodologies and tools that support systematic thinking, identification, feasibility testing, and meta-analysis through journal articles, books, research reports, and other sources published in the last 10 years. The Literature Selection and Quality Assessment consists of Inclusion Literature that discusses the Methodology of Islamic Studies: Islam as a Religion within the scope of Epistemology, Paradigm, and Methodology Perspectives from Google Scholar, Semantic Sholar, Eric, Crossref, and Science Direct databases. The results of the study found that the methodology of Islamic studies has shifted from a traditional approach to a more sophisticated and multidisciplinary paradigm. Epistemological shifts lead to contextual and interpretive perspectives, combining phenomenological, hermeneutical, historical, and empirical techniques. This approach allows for a more comprehensive understanding of Islam as a religion and a social phenomenon.

Abstract

This study examines the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Computer-Based Testing (CBT) through a systematic literature review (SLR) following the PRISMA 2020 protocol. The research identifies key opportunities, including automated grading (reducing instructor workload by 70%) and adaptive testing (enhancing personalized assessments), alongside critical challenges such as algorithmic bias (particularly in speech recognition systems) and privacy concerns in AI-based proctoring. Analysis of 95 peer-reviewed studies (2015-2024) reveals a significant post-2020 surge in research, driven by digital education demands during the pandemic, with current trends focusing on Generative AI integration (25% of studies) and bias mitigation (35%). The findings highlight the need for ethical and equitable development of AI-enhanced CBT systems that prioritize both technological innovation and ethical considerations, particularly regarding fairness, transparency, and data protection. The study concludes with recommendations for future research directions, including the development of Explainable AI (XAI) frameworks and inclusive assessment models. These insights provide valuable guidance for educators, policymakers, and technology developers working to optimize AI applications in educational assessment.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and apply the distributive supervision model in improving the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teachers in Long Ikis sub-district. Managerial supervision has long been used as an approach in helping to improve the quality of teaching and learning. However, the success of managerial supervision in providing appropriate and ongoing support for teachers remains a major concern. Therefore, this study offers a distributive supervision model as an interesting and innovative alternative to improve the effectiveness of supervision in the field of Islamic Religious Education. This study used a qualitative approach involving teachers, principals and Islamic Religious Education supervisors as informants. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis related to academic supervision. The results showed that the implementation of the distributive supervision model has made a significant contribution in improving the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teachers in Long Ikis sub-district.Keyword: Distributive Supervision; School Superintendent; PAI Professionalism Teachers.

Abstract

This research investigates the challenges and opportunities in implementing multicultural education within Islamic educational institutions, with a particular focus on integrating inclusivity and diversity into the learning process. The problem addressed in this study is the limited competence of teachers in applying multicultural values, the lack of contextual teaching materials, and the persistence of exclusive cultural resistance among certain local communities. The objective of the research is to identify systemic barriers, analyze their impact on students’ attitudes, and propose practical solutions for fostering a more inclusive educational environment. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method, combining literature review, document analysis, and interviews with teachers and students to capture both theoretical and empirical perspectives. The results reveal that despite existing good practices, significant obstacles remain, such as stereotypes among students due to minimal intercultural interaction and weak policy support for multicultural education. However, the study also highlights effective strategies, including teacher training programs, curriculum contextualization, dialogical engagement with local culture, and the creation of inclusive school environments. These findings underscore the need for comprehensive policy reform and sustainable teacher development to strengthen multicultural integration in Islamic education. The research contributes to the discourse on educational reform by offering practical pathways for promoting harmony and respect for diversity within Islamic schooling contexts.
