Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Break Even Point (BEP) dan Perencanaan Laba dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan bisnis di Dapoer HnH, yang berlokasi di Jorong Kubu Rajo, Kelurahan Limo Kaum, Kecamatan Limo Kaum, Kabupaten Tanah Datar. BEP digunakan untuk menentukan titik impas, yaitu kondisi di mana pendapatan sama dengan total biaya sehingga tidak ada laba atau rugi. Margin kontribusi digunakan untuk mengukur kontribusi setiap unit penjualan dalam menutup biaya tetap dan menghasilkan laba. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data keuangan dari Dapoer HnH yang relevan. Data dianalisis untuk menghitung BEP, margin kontribusi, serta perubahan laba berdasarkan berbagai skenario volume penjualan. Pendekatan ini mengevaluasi hubungan antara biaya, volume penjualan, dan laba, sehingga membantu Dapoer HnH dalam menyusun strategi bisnis yang lebih efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan BEP membantu Dapoer HnH menentukan target penjualan minimum untuk mencapai impas, sementara perencanaan laba memberikan wawasan mengenai dampak perubahan volume penjualan terhadap profitabilitas. Penerapan kedua konsep ini memungkinkan Dapoer HnH merancang strategi keuangan yang lebih terinformasi, mengoptimalkan operasional, dan meningkatkan laba. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi pengelolaan keuangan Dapoer HnH dan menjadi referensi praktis bagi pelaku usaha lain.

Abstract

Kupu-kupu memiliki peran ekologis penting sebagai indikator kesehatan lingkungan, terutama di kawasan yang mengalami perubahan akibat pembangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi keanekaragaman kupu-kupu (Lepidoptera) di sekitar Universitas Negeri Padang, Air Tawar Barat. Kawasan ini tengah mengalami pembangunan yang dapat memengaruhi biodiversitas lokal. Metode penelitian meliputi penelusuran lapangan, dokumentasi visual, serta identifikasi spesies menggunakan panduan taksonomi. Analisis keanekaragaman dilakukan dengan Indeks Shannon-Wiener. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 16 individu dari 7 spesies dalam 3 famili (Nymphalidae, Pieridae, Lycaenidae). Nilai indeks keanekaragaman H’ = 1,5747 (kategori sedang), kemerataan E = 0,8092 (tinggi), dan kekayaan spesies Dmg = 2,1640. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kawasan bersifat urban, masih terdapat komunitas kupu-kupu yang relatif beragam, mengindikasikan bahwa ruang hijau yang tersisa dapat mendukung kelangsungan biodiversitas serangga. Oleh karena itu, upaya konservasi habitat alami di area perkotaan menjadi krusial untuk mempertahankan keseimbangan ekosistem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of land use changes on the carrying capacity of the protective function of the Babon Watershed (DAS Babon) and its relation to flood events in the area. The research employs a quantitative approach using satellite imagery data from 2015 and 2023, processed with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to map land use changes and the carrying capacity of the watershed's protective function. The results indicate significant land use changes, particularly the conversion of agricultural land into residential and industrial areas, which has reduced the extent of water infiltration zones and natural vegetation. The decline in the carrying capacity of the protective function of the Babon Watershed has increased flood risks, especially in downstream areas exposed to high surface runoff. The analysis of the protective function's carrying capacity (DDL) reveals a degradation in protective quality in several districts, with lower DDL values observed in 2023. The use of impervious materials such as concrete and asphalt exacerbates drainage quality and worsens flood risks.

Abstract

The cellulose found in Gracilaria sp. has not been utilized optimally. This study investigated the characteristics of cellulose and cellulose microfibril (MFC) isolated from three grades of Gracilaria sp. Descriptive tests were performed to determine the quality of eachgrade, including observations on moisture content, ashcontent, CAW,andimpurities. The extraction process involved separating agar from Gracilaria sp., isolating cellulose using 10% NaOH, and bleaching cellulose with 3% NaOCl. The bleached cellulose was then ultrasonicated to produce MFC. Characterization was performed using FTIR, XRD, PSA, STA, DSC, and py-GC/MS. FTIR analysis indicated similar peaks for both cellulose forms but only differed in transmittance intensity. The crystallinity index from XRD analysis was 22–39% for raw Gracilaria sp., 25–46% for cellulose, and 68–89% for MFC. The particle size distribution of MFC mostly ranged between 200–500 nm, with 63.16% frequency. TG analysis showed cellulose decomposition with a Tonset of 231–260oC and a Tmax of 318–326oC. DSC analysis revealed that sonication enhances the polymer structure’s crystallization compared to pre-sonicated cellulose and raw material. The py-GC/MS analysis showed that D-allose and n-Hexadecanoic acid were the major components.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) tools integrated with STEM and local content—specifically the cultural practice of Jambi coffee brewing—in enhancing students’ learning outcomes in the physics topic of temperature and heat. The research employed a quasi-experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design. The participants were 11th-grade students from SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi in the 2024/2025 academic year, selected through purposive sampling. A total of 54 students participated, divided evenly into two classes: the experimental class, which was taught using STEM-integrated PjBL tools incorporating local content, and the control class, which was taught using conventional PjBL tools without STEM or local context integration. Both groups underwent pretest and posttest assessments. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests and independent sample t-tests with a significance level of 0.05. The paired t-test results indicated a statistically significant improvement in both classes (p = 0.000). However, the independent sample t-test revealed a significant difference in posttest scores between the two groups (p = 0.011), with the experimental class showing greater gains. These results suggest that the integration of STEM and local cultural context into PjBL can deepen students’ conceptual understanding, enhance engagement, and improve learning outcomes more effectively than PjBL alone. The contextualization of physics content using familiar real-world practices, such as coffee brewing, provides meaningful learning experiences that connect abstract scientific concepts to students' daily lives.

Abstract

The application of information technology in village administration management is one of the strategic steps to improve the efficiency and transparency of public services. The Village Information System (SIGAP) is a technology-based solution designed to optimize the management of village administration data, including population data, social activities, finances, and permits. The community service activities of lecturers and students are aimed at assisting village office officials and operators in implementing SIGAP in improving the efficiency of administration and public services in the village. With discussion, demonstration and enlightenment methods. So that SIGAP users in the village demonstrate their abilities and understand the use and benefits of the SIGAP application and can reduce the time required for the administration process, improve data accuracy, and facilitate access to information for the community.

Abstract

The impression created by the atmosphere of health facilities, especially mental health, can affect the psychological and physical state of patients. The application of biophilic architecture design in mental health care facilities is believed to help create a healing environment. Biophilic architecture inherently seeks to rebuild the relationship between humans and nature to improve human health and well-being. However, to implement biophilic design in mental health care facilities, there are criteria that must be met to ensure that the building does not have a negative impact on patients. This review was conducted to develop insights into how the application of biophilic design patterns can be applied to the interior and exterior of buildings in various mental health care facilities. The research object involves 2 mental health service facilities including Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Mental Hospital in Malang and Horizon Rehab Center in Bangkok. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative method by focusing on the results of the implementation of biophilic design patterns in mental health care facilities. Analysis of the data revealed that 3 of the 14 biophilic design patterns, namely complexity & order, mystery and risk / danger, are not suitable for application in these buildings because they can have a negative effect on patients with mental disorders

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan nasional memerlukan pendekatan komprehensif yang melibatkan seluruh lapisan masyarakat, khususnya kelompok wanita tani yang memiliki peran strategis dalam pengelolaan sumber daya pertanian skala rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan produktivitas tanaman hortikultura melalui pemberdayaan Kelompok Wanita Tangguh (KWT)  RW 12 Kelurahan Bambu Kuning Kota Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pelibatan masyarakat (civic engagement) yang mengutamakan partisipasi aktif dan pemberdayaan komunitas di setiap tahap kegiatan. Pendekatan ini diperkuat melalui kemitraan dengan berbagai pihak seperti RT/RW, kelurahan, dinas pertanian, dan kelompok masyarakat lainnya. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan oleh mahasiswa KUKERTA Jurusan Agribisnis Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Riau pada 27 Juli 2025. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan dampak positif dalam jangka pendek berupa lahan yang lebih bersih dan siap tanam, hasil panen kacang tanah yang baik, serta penanaman bibit cabai dan terong yang rapi untuk menambah variasi produk pertanian. Dampak jangka panjang yang diharapkan meliputi peningkatan produksi tanaman pangan keluarga secara berkelanjutan, terbentuknya sistem pertanian organik yang ramah lingkungan dengan menggunakan pupuk kandang, serta pengembangan ekonomi lokal dari hasil panen yang dijual. Keunggulan utama kegiatan ini adalah kesesuaiannya dengan kondisi lokal masyarakat yang memiliki lahan pekarangan yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menanam tanaman pangan. Namun, terdapat keterbatasan alat pertanian yang memerlukan investasi untuk pengadaan peralatan yang cukup. Kegiatan ini berhasil mendukung program ketahanan pangan keluarga dan menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dapat diterapkan di daerah lain.
