Abstract

Peran kiyai dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam pada santri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran kiyai dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam pada santri dan bagaimana pelaksanaan pendidikan Islam di pondok modern IGM Al-Ihsaniyah Palembang. Jenis penilitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kiyai memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam pada santri. Kiyai berperan membantu membentuk karakter santri yang kuat, meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran, pengembangan kurikulum, peningkatan kualitas fasilitas dan pembinaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Kemudian pelaksanaan pendidikan Islam di pondok modern IGM Al-Ihsaniyah Palembang dilaksanakan dengan metode totalitas pendidikan 24 jam, serta mengintegrasikan antara kurikulum K13 Kemenag dan kurikulum KMI pondok modern Darussalam Gontor dengan memerhatikan nilai-nilai keislamannya pada setiap program pendidikan yang dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Kemampuan SDM usaha perikanan di wilayah pesisir dalam manajemen usaha masih kurang karena sebagian besar berpendidikan rendah, permodalan usaha sebagian besar berasal dari modal sendiri, Manajemen produksi masih sederhana dan pemasaran hasil produksi usaha perikanan secara garis besar dipasarkan dalam bentuk segar dan masih berskala lokal. Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya pengembangan usaha masyarakat di wilayah pesisir yaitu salah satunya melalui bimbingan teknis manajemen usaha. Minimnya pengetahuan akan pentingnya berkelompok juga menjadi kendala dalam upaya pendampingan kepada Nelayan. Sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya pendampingan dari instansi terkait dan akademisi guna merubah pola pikir dan nasib nelayan untuk menuju kehidupan ekonomi yang lebih baik.  Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah pelaku utama/nelayan alat tangkap Bubu yang tergabung dalam organisasi mitra Kelompok Usaha Bersama “Makmur Sejahtera” di Desa Warulor, Kecamatan Paciran, Kabupaten Lamongan. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pemetaan potensi lokasi, penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan manajemen usaha nelayan Desa Warulor Kecamatan Paciran Kabupaten Lamongan. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat yaitu masyarakat sadar akan pentingnya berkelompok sesuai KepMen KP No.14 tahun 2012 tentang penumbuhan dan pengembangan kelompok pelaku utama dan usaha Kelautan dan Perikanan. Selanjutnya masyarakat nelayan dapat memahami tentang manajemen usaha dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan ekonomi.

Abstract

Bulukumba Regency is one of the regencies that offers diverse natural and cultural potential. The beauty of the beach panorama is one of the attractions in Bulukumba Regency, including located in the Tanjung Bira Beach Area to Lemo-Lemo Beach. The great potential tourism must continue to be preserved and sustainable. Sustainable coastal tourism planning is a concept that emphasizes environmental, economic and social/cultural aspects. Sustainable tourism planning in Bulukumba Regency, especially in the Tanjung Bira and Lemo-lemo tourism areas, must be supported by stakeholders including the Tourism, Youth and Sports Office. The purpose of the implementation of this activity is to provide strategies or directions in ensuring the sustainability of the Tanjung Bira and Lemo-lemo tourist areas with the concept of sustainable coastal tourism planning. The targets of this activity were the Head, Secretary, Staff at the Tourism, Youth and Sports Office as tourism policy makers in Bulukumba Regency. Evaluation was carried out before and after the activity to measure the achievement of the activity by identifying stakeholder knowledge about sustainable coastal tourism planning policies. Activities were carried out through socialization and explanation of research results and policy directions that can be carried out in ensuring the sustainability of tourism in Tanjung Bira and Lemo-lemo, Bulukumba Regency accompanied by visualization in October 2024. The results showed that 50% did not know about sustainable coastal tourism policies, 6.3% answered undecided and 43.8% already knew. After socialization, the results showed that 87.5% already knew and 12.5% still did not understand this policy

Abstract

The supervision of spatial plans should not only be imposed by certain agencies, but involve all elements of society. Community participation in spatial planning supervision has not gone well so far. This is indicated by the lack of community participation in spatial planning supervision, especially in vulnerable areas such as riverbanks. The purpose of this activity is expected to increase community knowledge in spatial planning supervision and is expected to actively participate in the spatial planning supervision agenda. In addition, it is hoped that the level of public awareness can increase so that they can play a direct role in spatial supervision in their area. The target of this activity is the community on the banks of the Tallo River in Makassar City. The activities were carried out through lectures and material exposure and also continued with activity evaluation. Evaluation was carried out before and after the implementation of the activity to determine the level of understanding of the participants and also measure the extent of their involvement in spatial planning supervision. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of spatial planning from 86.7% (26 people) to 93.33% (28 people), in addition there was also an increase in the participants' desire to be involved in spatial monitoring activities to 100% (30 people) from 90% (27 people) who had never participated in spatial planning monitoring activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of social media on the development of da'wah in Indonesia. Social media platforms commonly used by Indonesians, such as YouTube and Facebook, have significantly influenced the behavior and methods of delivering Islamic messages. In response to these changes, many scholars have adopted social media as a medium for da'wah. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach by analyzing data collected through direct interviews with respondents. The findings indicate that social media has had a profound impact on the development of da'wah, enabling scholars to leverage technology for propagating Islamic teachings. The use of platforms such as YouTube and Facebook has made preaching more accessible and efficient, allowing scholars to reach broader audiences without the limitations of traditional methods. This study contributes to the understanding of how digital platforms transform traditional practices of da'wah, offering insights into the intersection of technology and religious communication. By highlighting the advantages and challenges of utilizing social media for da'wah, this research provides a foundation for further exploration of digital strategies in religious propagation.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to determine the Indonesian Ulema Council (Majelis Ulama Indonesia, MUI) Da'wah Strategy in Wonogiri in broadcasting Wasathiyah  Islamic values in Wonogiri as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of the MUI Da'wah Strategy in Wonogiri.Method – This research is qualitative research, Data was collected by several data collection techniques: Observation, Interview, Documentation. The data analysis process is carried out throughout the research process, from planning and data collection to interpretation or interpretation of data or the content of data discussion in the field.Result  – This research shows that there are three da'wah strategies used by MUI Wonogiri, namely: (1) Sentimental Da'wah Strategy (Al-Manhaj 'athifi), (2) Rational Da'wah Strategy (Al-Manhaj Al-Aqli), (3) Sensory Da'wah Strategy (Al-Manhaj Al-Hissi).Implication – The implications of this research are related to the importance of the da'wah movement of the Indonesian Ulema Council Wonogiri in strengthening the value of Wasathiyah  IslamOriginality/Value – This study analyzes the views of the Da’i of the Wonogiri Indonesian Ulema Council on the understanding of wasathiyah Islam, and the activities of the da'wah movement in strengthening the understanding of Wasathiyah  Islamic Values.***Tujuan - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Strategi Dakwah MUI di Wonogiri dalam menyiarkan nilai-nilai Islam Wasathiyah  di Wonogiri serta faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat Strategi Dakwah Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) di WonogiriMetode - Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, Data dikumpulkan dengan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data: Pengamatan, Wawancara, Dokumentasi. Proses analisis data dilakukan selama proses penelitian, mulai dari perencanaan dan pengumpulan data hingga interpretasi atau interpretasi data atau isi pembahasan data di lapanganHasil  - Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: ada tiga strategi dakwah yang digunakan oleh MUI Wonogiri, yaitu: (1) Strategi Dakwah Sentimental (Al-Manhaj 'athifi), (2) Strategi Dakwah Rasional (Al-Manhaj Al-Aqli), (3) Strategi Dakwah Sensorik (Al-Manhaj Al-Hissi).Implikasi– Implikasi dari penelitian ini terkait pentingnya gerakan dakwah Majelis Ulama Indonesia Wonogiri dalam memperkuat nilai Islam Wasathiyah Orisinalitas/Nilai - Penelitian ini menganalisis pandangan Da’i Majelis Ulama Indonesia Wonogiri terhadap pemahaman Islam Wasathiyah , dan aktivitas gerakan dakwah dalam memperkuat pemahaman Nilai-Nilai Islam Wasathiyah

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the Self-Instruction technique in improving students' critical thinking skills and learning motivation in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI). With a library research approach using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the study analysed various academic sources, including relevant journals, textbooks and research reports. The results showed that the Self-Instruction technique contributes to building students' thinking independence, enhancing analytical understanding of Islamic concepts, and encouraging deep reflection on the application of religious values in daily life. This technique allows students to be more active in analysing religious arguments, developing rational arguments, and strengthening systematic thinking skills in understanding Islamic teachings. In addition, the application of this technique is proven to increase students' learning motivation and confidence in exploring their religious understanding more critically and reflectively. The findings of this study have important implications in the development of more innovative and self-reflection-based learning strategies in PAI learning, and can be the basis for PAI teachers in applying more effective methods in building learning motivation, as well as analytical and argumentative mindsets in students. Highlights: Critical Thinking – Strengthens independent analysis and reasoning in Islamic studies. Learning Motivation – Boosts confidence and reflective exploration of religious concepts. Abstract

The aquaculture business is one of the businesses in the fishery sector that is very important in exploiting natural resources and improving the welfare of the community. The detailed studies are needed from the initial selection of fish seedlings, cultivation management and post-harvest management. Brumbun Village is one of the villages that have potential for aquaculture businesses, especially freshwater fish cultivation, especially tilapia. The village government is planning to develop the cultivation of tilapia fish as one of the leading village communities. However, there are several problems, especially in the quality of water used for cultivation purposes, the pH value of water is still around 4-5 so it must be increased to 7-8. Supporting this effort requires efforts to intensify fisheries cultivation, water management and efforts to maintain water quality. 328 microcontroller is used as a tool to monitor the process of improving water quality (pH) and also scheduling feeding on tilapia fish farming. Keywords: aquaculture, tilapia fish, monitoring, microcontroller

Abstract

Background: The challenge of modernization in Islamic boarding schools involves balancing the formal religious curriculum with practical skills and daily life lessons. Purpose: This study explores the role of the hidden curriculum in the construction of adab (manners) education at the Qodratullah Banyuasin Islamic Boarding School in South Sumatra, Indonesia. Adab education, integral to Islamic character formation, extends beyond formal learning and is deeply embedded in the social interactions, daily activities, and institutional culture of Islamic boarding schools. Method: Utilizing a case study approach, this research employs interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. Result: The findings indicate that the hidden curriculum significantly contributes to the development of adab through three primary inputs: figure-based education, literacy, and activities. Figure-based education, exemplified by the role of the kyai (Islamic scholar), establishes a model for students in terms of behavior, values, and norms. Literacy-based education fosters critical thinking and intellectual growth through the study of Islamic texts. Activity-based education emphasizes social interactions and extracurricular activities that reinforce communal values and ethics. Conclusion: This research highlights the importance of the hidden curriculum in shaping students' character, demonstrating how adab education in Islamic boarding schools provides a holistic framework for character and moral development, combining both formal and informal educational processes. The study offers valuable insights for educational policymakers seeking to integrate Islamic values into the educational system while addressing the challenges of modernization and globalization.

Abstract

Artikel ini ditulis menggunakan tinjauan literatur kontemporer dengan sudut pandang filsafat pendidikan. Sumber datanya berasal dari buku, majalah, artikel, dan makalah yang berkaitan dengan pemikiran Al-Attas dan pendidikan. Referensi utama adalah beberapa karya yang ditulis oleh Al-Attas. Selain itu, referensi sekundernya adalah karya intelektual gagasan Al-Attas. Untuk karya lain yang berkaitan dengan topik tersebut digunakan sebagai data pendukung. Metode yang digunakan dalam jurnal ini adalah metode Heuristik, yaitu mencari pemahaman baru. Metode heuristik diterapkan untuk menemukan sesuatu yang baru setelah menyimpulkan dan mengkritisi materi objektif penelitian. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengevaluasi secara kritis pemikiran Al-Attas termasuk kelebihan dan kelemahannya.
