Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Pondok Syawal activity program based on Malam Bina Iman dan Taqwa (MABIT) in cultivating Islamic character and understanding of the Islamic religion in students at MAN 2 Malang City. This activity program was carried out at the Al-Hayatul Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School, Malang City. This research uses a mixed method (quantitative-qualitative) sequential exploratory design. Data collection was carried out through surveys, in-depth interviews, and participant observation. The research subjects were students at MAN 2 Malang City who took part in the Pondok Syawal program in 1445 H, totaling 20 participants. The research results show that program is effective in cultivating Islamic character and understanding of the Islamic religion in students. This program contributed to the Islamic character of 92.8% (very good) and understanding of the Islamic religion of 78.4% (good). This program provides meaningful and contextual learning experiences for students, so they can understand and practice Islamic teachings better. Then students become more disciplined, have good morals, and understand Islamic teachings better. The findings of this research provide important implications for the implementation of Islamic education programs in madrasas. The MABIT-based Pondok Syawal program can be an alternative Islamic education program that is effective and beneficial for students.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the relatively good professional development of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Pandan Tapanuli Tengah. The purpose of this study is to determine the self-development carried out by teachers through the activities carried out. The data collection method used consists of observation, direct interviews with the principal and teachers. This research is supported by documentary data and supporting literature relevant to the problem described. This study uses qualitative descriptive analysis method with the aim of describing how the continuous professional development of SMA Negeri 1 Pandan Tapanuli Tengah teachers and how to deal with the problems faced in carrying out teacher sustainable professional development. The results of the study: 1) The self-development of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Pandan has been carried out well with functional training activities and Teacher Working Groups (KKG); 2) Scientific Publications of SMA Negeri 1 Pandan Teachers, have been carried out well with three activities, namely, achievements in scientific forums, scientific publications in the form of research results or scientific ideas in the field of formal education and publication of textbooks, enrichment books or teacher manuals; 3) The innovative work of teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Matauli Pandan has run smoothly and optimally. Innovative work done by teachers makes learning media in the classroom. Teachers have made learning media that are used in the learning process

Abstract

The impact of stopping and restricting social activities as well as travel restrictions is a decrease in the number of visits to the agro-ecotourism industry. The qualitative descriptive method is based on literature studies from journals, books, and articles on agro-ecotourism and how to recover it during the Covid-19 pandemic era. Various efforts have been made by managers, as well as several other stakeholders, to be a solution for developing agro-ecotourism after the Covid-19 pandemic. Alternative solutions that can be implemented, among others: (1) Adaptation to the pandemic situation by increasing the implementation of 'CHSE' including Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environment, and Collaboration; (2) Community development by integrating multicultural-oriented education in the coastal tourism and fisheries sector; (3) The Indonesian people reorient the halal tourism movement and sharia travel, government regulations and the role of Islamic organizations to support the development of halal tourism and sharia travel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether thegiving of responsible affects the interest and learning outcomes of villain students in learning physics class XI IPA 1 Madrasah Aliyah Syekh Yusuf. This type of research is a single-subject experimental research using the A-B design. This study only usesone student as the research subject, and students who are the subject are students in the villain category (naughty). Students who are classified as villains are obtained from the criteria listed in several instruments used such as interview guidelines and sociometry to get subjects with the villain category. Based on the results of the analysis with descriptive analysis using graphical analysis, the average percentage of interest and learning outcomes for the baseline phase is 26.5% and 59.9%. Meanwhile, the average percentage of interest and learning outcomes for the intervention phase was 92.5% and 86.5%. It can be seen that the average in the baseline phase, namely the conditions that have not implemented the treatment in the form of providing responsibly for student interest and learning outcomes is very low compared to the intervention phase, namely the conditions for giving responsibility. So it can be concluded that responsible giving affects the interest and learning outcomes of villain students

Abstract

Online learning is an online or face-to-face learning system, using the internet network, with the help of media such as laptops, computers and smartphones. This Learning System is one of the learning options carried out during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. So that it becomes a concern for all of us, including student groups. One of the efforts to find out the effectiveness of online learning is by doing research. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of implementing online learning for students. The method we use is descriptive method, namely using data collection techniques by surveying via Google form. The samples used in this study were 78 students. The results of this study indicate that online learning is quite effective, because there are still many obstacles faced so that learning is not in accordance with its achievements. The conclusion from this study is that in the future online learning must be improved with better and more varied learning media.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of ethical values in the 2024 Higher Education Curriculum (KPT) based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Ethical values are considered important in shaping graduates who are academically excellent as well as noble, have integrity, and are socially and culturally sensitive. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research data consists of in-depth interview results, field observation notes, and relevant curriculum documents. Data sources included lecturers, students, and curriculum managers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation for one semester, semi-structured interviews with 15 lecturers, 50 students, and three curriculum managers, as well as analysis of curriculum documents, RPS, and syllabi. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis through the stages of reduction, presentation, critical analysis with relevant theories, and verification through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results show that the integration of ethical values is carried out through the adjustment of course content, the strengthening of attitude-based syllabi, and participatory learning that emphasizes the internalization of manners, responsibility, and morality. This integration produces graduates who are competent, adaptive, and have character in accordance with Islamic values and local wisdom. However, there are still obstacles in the form of lecturers' limited understanding of the concept of manners in OBE, a lack of pedagogical training, and low awareness among students to internalize ethical values. The study recommends the development of continuous training for lecturers, the application of project-based and community service strategies, and the improvement of students' manners literacy through academic and non-academic activities. These findings emphasize the importance of repositioning OBE to not only emphasize cognitive achievement but also the internalization of ethical values as the foundation of Islamic higher education.

Abstract

This article examines the second volume of the manuscript Sejarah Cirebon, written by H. Mahmud Rais. According to the copied version that also collected by Bambang Irianto, this manuscript was copied on December 15, 1957 and was written with the Cirebonese-Javanese and Arabic language. In summary, this text describes the Islamic doctrines delivered by Syekh Nurjati that tend to be adaptive and accommodating towards the local culture of Cirebon. Using the approach of sufism, in order to uncover the local context of the text, this article sets that there were six very substantial teaching to be done by Muslims. First, regarding the aspect of the God. Second, follow those who inherited the prophets. ird, do the beneficial and stay away from the forbidden things. Fourth, the teachings of love. Fifth, be consistent with the truth. Sixth, the balance between ilmu and amal. === Artikel ini mengkaji jilid kedua dari naskah Sejarah Cirebon yang ditulis oleh H. Mahmud Rais. Dalam salinan yang juga dimiliki oleh Bambang Irianto, naskah ini disalin pada 15 Desember 1957 dan ditulis dengan aksara Pegon serta bahasa Jawa-Cirebon dan Arab. Secara ringkas, teks ini menjelaskan doktrin-doktrin keislaman yang disampaikan oleh Syekh Nurjati yang cenderung adaptif dan akomodatif terhadap kebudayaan lokal Cirebon. Doktrin-doktrin tersebut dianggap sebagai wejangan yang bernilai luhur dan bernilai sufistik. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan sufistik, dalam rangka mengungkap konteks lokal teks tersebut, artikel ini memaparkan bahwa terdapat enam ajaran yang sangat substansial yang harus dilakukan oleh umat Islam. Yaitu, pertama, mengenai aspek ketuhanan. Kedua, meneladani para pewaris Nabi. Ketiga, melakukan hal yang bermanfaat dan menjauhi hal yang dilarang. Keempat, ajaran saling mengasihi. Kelima, konsisten dalam kebenaran. Keenam, keseimbangan antara ilmu dan amal.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to determine the Indonesian Ulema Council (Majelis Ulama Indonesia, MUI) Da'wah Strategy in Wonogiri in broadcasting Wasathiyah  Islamic values in Wonogiri as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of the MUI Da'wah Strategy in Wonogiri.Method – This research is qualitative research, Data was collected by several data collection techniques: Observation, Interview, Documentation. The data analysis process is carried out throughout the research process, from planning and data collection to interpretation or interpretation of data or the content of data discussion in the field.Result  – This research shows that there are three da'wah strategies used by MUI Wonogiri, namely: (1) Sentimental Da'wah Strategy (Al-Manhaj 'athifi), (2) Rational Da'wah Strategy (Al-Manhaj Al-Aqli), (3) Sensory Da'wah Strategy (Al-Manhaj Al-Hissi).Implication – The implications of this research are related to the importance of the da'wah movement of the Indonesian Ulema Council Wonogiri in strengthening the value of Wasathiyah  IslamOriginality/Value – This study analyzes the views of the Da’i of the Wonogiri Indonesian Ulema Council on the understanding of wasathiyah Islam, and the activities of the da'wah movement in strengthening the understanding of Wasathiyah  Islamic Values.***Tujuan - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Strategi Dakwah MUI di Wonogiri dalam menyiarkan nilai-nilai Islam Wasathiyah  di Wonogiri serta faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat Strategi Dakwah Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) di WonogiriMetode - Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, Data dikumpulkan dengan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data: Pengamatan, Wawancara, Dokumentasi. Abstract

The Lakkang Delta area in Tallo District, Makassar City, is a unique small island surrounded by the Tallo and Pampang Rivers, presenting the character of a ‘village in the middle of the city’ with high ecological, social and cultural potential. However, limited accessibility, basic infrastructure and tourism institutions mean that its potential has not been optimized. This community service activity was carried out in Lakkang Village, Tallo District, Makassar City, involving 30 participants consisting of the community, village officials, and representatives of tourism awareness groups. This activity aimed to develop guidelines for the development of the Lakkang Delta area as a community based ecotourism destination using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method. This method includes participatory mapping, transect walks, in-depth interviews, and door-to-door socialization to explore local potential and actual problems in the field. The activity was evaluated through pre-test and post-test to measure the community's level of understanding of the concepts of ecotourism and spatial-based planning. The results showed a significant increase in the average understanding score from 60 to 85 (an increase of 41.6%). The main identified potentials were bamboo forests, fishponds, and Japanese bunker historical sites, as well as the social value of mutual cooperation. The main issues included transportation access, basic infrastructure, and tourism management institutions. This activity had a direct impact on increasing the community's capacity to manage tourism potential, the creation of a participatory potential map, and recommendations for development strategies aligned with the Makassar City Spatial Plan (RT/RW) 2024–2043. Thus, this activity demonstrated the effectiveness of the PRA method in promoting active participation and ecological awareness among the community.
