Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan membaca dan sikap bahasa terhadap kemampuan mengapresiasi puisi pada siswa kelas V di SD. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di Kecamatan Kabola Kabupaten Alor yang berjumlah 72 siswa dari 3 sekolah. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling dengan cara di undi sehingga ketemu sampel sebanyak 51 responden. Setelah dilakukan uji normalitas dan linearitas, hipotesis diuji. Penelitian ini menggunakan PMC untuk pengujian hipotesis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut : 1) Adanya pengaruh keterampilan membaca terhadap kemampuan mengapresiasi puisi pada siswa kelas V di SD Inti 1 kecamatan Kabola Kabupaten Alor dengan mean 73,4706; Standar deviasi 12,01058; standar error mean adalah 1.68182 dan thitung untuk x1 adalah 43,685. 2) Adanya pengaruh sikap bahasa terhadap kemampuan mengapresiasi puisi pada siswa kelas V di SD Inti 1 kecamatan Kabola, Kabupaten Alor dengan mean 22,4314; Standar deviasi 4,58369;  standar error mean adalah 0,64184 dan thitung untuk x2 adalah 34,948. 3) Adanya pengaruh keterampilan membaca dan sikap bahasa terhadap kemampuan mengapresiasi puisi pada siswa kelas V di SD Inti 1 kecamatan Kabola, Kabupaten Alor dengan mean 27,7843; Standar deviasi 30,89292;  standar error mean adalah 4.32587 dan thitung untuk Y adalah 6,423. 4) Dari hasil pengolahan data, peneliti menolak H0 dan terima H1. Dengan kata lain adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara ketrampilan membaca dan sikap bahasa terhadap kemampuan apresiasi puisi kelas V SD Inti 1 kecamatan Kabola Kabupaten Alor.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yakni menghasilkan kartu huruf yang valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan untuk membaca permulaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni pengembangan model ASSURE (1) (Analyze Learners); (2) (States Objectives); (3) (Select Methods, Media, and Ingredient), (4) (Utilize Mediaand Ingredient); (5) (Require Learner Participation); (6) (Evaluate and Revise). Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa angket, tes serta dokumentasi penelitian. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yakni kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil data penelitian diperoleh fakta bahwa kartu huruf yang dikembangkan peneliti dinyatakan sangat valid dengan presentase sebesar 89% pada validator media dan 85,21% validator ahli materi. Selain itu juga kualitas kartu huruf memperoleh respon dengan presentase sebesar 90,4% yang masuk pada kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa kartu huruf sangat layak digunakan karena telah memenuhi kriteria peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa yakni dengan hasil NGain Score didapatkan hasil presentase sebesar 73.88% di kelas IIB dan 64.79 di kelas IIC. Oleh karena itu, kartu huruf yang dikembangkan peneliti sudah masuk pada kategori valid, praktis dan efektif diterapkan di kelas IIB dan IIC SD GMIT 01 Kalabahi Kabupaten Alor.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan fase dan makna simbolis dari Ritual Badudus dalam novel Lalu Tenggelam di Ujung Matamu karya Miranda Seftiana. Badudus adalah ritual bridal shower untuk keturunan kerajaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah antropologi simbolik Victor Turner dengan fokus pada penelitian fase dan makna simbolik. Teknik pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi, membaca, dan mencatat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis isi dan hermeneutik. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan tiga fase dalam prosesi Ritual Badudus, yaitu  fase pemisahan, fase liminal, dan fase reintegrasi. Abstract

[Bahasa]: Kemajuan pesat Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam dunia pendidikan menawarkan potensi yang signifikan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar. Namun, guru-guru bahasa Indonesia di sekolah menengah pertama, khususnya di Tuban, menghadapi tantangan kritis dalam mengintegrasikan AI, termasuk pelatihan yang terbatas, penguasaan teknis, dan masalah etika. Hambatan-hambatan ini menghambat adopsi alat AI yang efektif untuk pembelajaran yang dipersonalisasi, adaptif, dan fleksibel. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kompetensi guru dalam integrasi AI melalui program pengabdian masyarakat yang terstruktur. Secara khusus, program ini menargetkan 30 guru bahasa Indonesia, melibatkan mereka dalam lokakarya dan sesi pendampingan berkelanjutan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, program ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: persiapan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pre-test dan post-test dilakukan untuk menilai pemahaman awal para guru dan kemajuan selanjutnya. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, dengan 85% peserta mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang konsep-konsep terkait AI dan 90% menunjukkan kemampuan untuk menggabungkan alat berbasis AI ke dalam kelas mereka. Terlepas dari pencapaian ini, masih ada tantangan yang dihadapi, terutama terkait keterampilan teknis dan pertimbangan etika. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pelatihan dan dukungan berkelanjutan untuk mencapai integrasi AI yang berkelanjutan dalam pendidikan bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian lebih lanjut direkomendasikan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak jangka panjang dari adopsi AI dalam praktik pengajaran dan mendorong kolaborasi antara pendidik dan pengembang AI. [English]: The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education offers significant potential for enhancing learning experiences. However, Indonesian language teachers in junior high schools, particularly in Tuban, face critical challenges in integrating AI, including limited training, technical mastery, and ethical concerns. These barriers hinder the effective adoption of AI tools for personalized, adaptive, and flexible learning. Addressing this issue, this study aimed to improve teachers' knowledge and competencies in AI integration through a structured community service program. Specifically, the program targeted 30 Indonesian language teachers, engaging them in workshops and continuous mentoring sessions. Adopting a participatory approach, the program was implemented in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Pre- and post-tests were conducted to assess teachers’ initial understanding and subsequent progress. Results revealed significant improvements, with 85% of participants gaining a deeper understanding of AI-related concepts and 90% demonstrating the ability to incorporate AI-based tools into their classrooms. Despite these achievements, challenges remained, particularly regarding technical skills and ethical considerations. This study underscores the necessity of sustained training and support to achieve sustainable AI integration in Indonesian language education. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impacts of AI adoption in teaching practices and foster collaboration between educators and AI developers. Abstract

Merdeka-Learning is an educational process to create interesting and creative learning situations.The study aims to determine the ability of short story reading skills and writing skills of students in elementary school.Merdeka Learning means learning, thinking, philosophizing and seeking information.Competence that comes from interesting learning allows a process when teachers and students experience real learning as well as experience the results. This results in smart, strong-minded, experienced and critical thinking learners, which reflects the goals of Indonesian national language and literature education. In Indonesian language and literature education, the concept of independent learning aims to increase students' interest and potential in character building, knowledge acquisition and critical thinking to analyze a problem through fun learning. In this research, the technique used is a qualitative-based data collection technique. The collection of this observation is a type of library research by collecting information about Indonesian literary works in the form of journals, books, articles and other research works. According to the data collected, it displays that students can think more sharply when implementing an independent learning curriculum because the learning process creates an innovative and creative atmosphere. Students learn according to their abilities and possibilities and are more independent in learning. The results of this study are Based on the results of data analysis above relevant: literacy There is a positive or significant relationship with writing skills.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the quality of textbooks and their impact on the character formation of elementary school children. The research method used is qualitative with a content analysis approach. Based on the results and discussion, the Indonesian language textbook for fourth grade elementary school students in Indonesia Merdeka Curriculum applies characters based on Lickona's perspective from all aspects, although not every chapter has each aspect of character based on Lickona's perspective. There are efforts to integrate character values into the textbook, although there is still room for further improvement in presenting character values consistently. Provides further explanation regarding the various character development values which are an integral part of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam proses pembelajaran berpusat pada guru. Proses pembelajaran guru hanya mengajar menggunakan buku tematik tanpa ada bahan ajar penunjang lainnya. Guru lebih menerapkan keterampilan berbicara, menyimak daripada keterampilan menulis, sehingga minat siswa dalam mengembangkan kemampuan menulis berkurang. Tujuan penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penggunaan bahan ajar menulis esai. Desain dalam penelitian menggunakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Borg and Gall, eksperimen one-group pretest-posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi,tes. Teknik analisis data untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, keefektifan bahan ajar dengan bantuan software SPSS 24 for windows. Hasil Kualitas produk bahan ajar pada aspek kevalidan bahan ajar sebesar 91% menjadi 95%. Kualitas produk aspek kepraktisan meliputi hasil respon guru dan siswa setelah digunakan bahan ajar memiliki persentase 82,5% meningkat  95%, Kualitas produk aspek keefektifan didasarkan pada hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan nilai derajat kebebasan adalah 48 dan nilai signifikansi adalah 0,05/2 = 0,025. Nilai tersebut dijadikan dasar acuan mencari pada ttabel, sehingga didapatkan nilai Ttable (0,05, 48) =2.01063. Dengan nilai thitung > dari ttabel maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah menggunakan bahan ajar menulis esai berbasis lingkungan dengan menggunakan model problem solving.Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar, Menulis Esai, Berpikir KritisAbstract: This research is motivated by Indonesian language learning in the teacher-centered learning process. The learning process of the teacher only teaches using thematic books without any other supporting teaching material. The teacher applies more speaking, listening skills than writing skills, so that students' interest in developing writing skills is reduced. The purpose of this study can improve students' critical thinking skills through the use of essay writing teaching materials. The design in this study uses a model developed by Borg and Gall, a one-group pretest-posttest design experiment. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, tests. Data analysis techniques to determine the validity, practicality, effectiveness of teaching materials with the help of SPSS 24 for windows software. Results The quality of teaching material products on the validity aspects of teaching materials by 91% to 95%. Product quality aspects of practicality include the results of teacher and student responses after use of teaching materials have a percentage of 82.5% increased 95%, Product quality aspects of effectiveness are based on student learning outcomes. Based on the value of degrees of freedom is 48 and the significance value is 0.05 / 2 = 0.025. This value is used as a reference base for looking at the table, so that the obtained value of Ttable (0.05, 48) = 2.01063. With the tcount> of ttable, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, it means there is a significant difference in students' critical thinking skills after using teaching materials to write an environment-based essay using the problem solving model.Keywords: Teaching Material, Essay, Critical Thinking

Abstract

This study examines the representation of the "little woman" in Anton Chekhov’s short stories, focusing on the interplay of gender roles and family values in 19th century Russian society. Through a literary sociology approach, the analysis explores how Chekhov’s female characters navigate societal expectations, internal conflicts, and familial responsibilities, offering a nuanced portrayal of women that diverges from traditional literary archetypes of his time. Unlike previous studies, which often generalize Chekhov’s female characters as passive or one-dimensional, this research highlights the complexity and agency of women in stories such as "The Lady with the Dog," "The Darling," and "The Schoolmistress." By analyzing narrative structure, character development, and social context, the study reveals how Chekhov critiques patriarchal norms while simultaneously depicting the emotional and psychological depth of his female protagonists. The findings demonstrate that Chekhov’s "little women" are not solely symbols of sacrifice or victimhood but are multifaceted individuals grappling with identity, autonomy, and societal constraints. The study’s novelty lies in its comparative framework, which situates Chekhov’s work alongside other literary traditions of the period, underscoring his unique contribution to the portrayal of women. By emphasizing the psychological and social dimensions of his female characters, this research contributes to literary gender studies and offers insights into the enduring relevance of Chekhov’s work in contemporary discussions on women’s roles in society. The findings invite further exploration of how classic literature can inform modern debates on gender equality and personal identity.

Abstract

This study explores the role of indigenous ecological narratives in shaping sustainable environmental practices through an ecosemiotic-cultural perspective. By employing a retro-prospective analysis, the research examines traditional ecological knowledge embedded in Indonesian literary texts, revealing how past wisdom informs contemporary and future environmental consciousness. The primary data for this research comprises three contemporary Indonesian novels that encapsulate indigenous ecological wisdom and human-nature relationships: Mata dan Manusia Laut (2019) by Okky Madasari, Tanjung Kemarau (2020) by Royyan Julian, Sanggarguri (2021) by Lalu Agus Fathurrahman. The findings demonstrate that indigenous narratives function as semiotic systems that encode ecological values, communal responsibility, and harmonious relationships with nature. Through cultural symbols, myths, and folklore, these narratives offer sustainable models of environmental stewardship rooted in collective memory and local traditions. The study also highlights the potential of integrating these narratives into modern sustainability policies and education, ensuring their relevance in addressing contemporary ecological challenges. By bridging historical ecological wisdom with future sustainability efforts, this research contributes to the broader discourse on ecosemiotics and sustainable development. The implications of this study underscore the significance of interdisciplinary approaches in preserving cultural heritage while fostering environmental resilience.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a prototype CCU dictionary for BIPA students from China. In addition to language, BIPA students need to understand Indonesian culture because language and culture are related. Language can be mastered well if the culture that accompanies it is also well understood. This research is a mixed study with the ADDIE model development method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) to the development stage due to the limited time in this study. Needs analysis is done by using questionnaires and literature study. Then, the design and development of this prototype is carried out by taking into account the aspects of the material, presentation, as well as language and readability. The results of this study revealed that most BIPA students experienced culture shock because of the differences in Indonesian culture and the culture of the student country. There are 45 cross cultural understandings that BIPA students from China need to understand. The cross cultural understanding consists of 16 cultural similarities and 29 cultural differences. These cultural comparisons are presented in this developed CCU dictionary prototype. This CCU dictionary prototype is designed to be a material for creating applications as electronic learning media that can be accessed offline and contain images, audio, audio visuals, and text in it. This CCU dictionary prototype contributes to the BIPA teaching and learning process and it is beneficial for students, teachers, and institutions.
