Abstract

Introduction: The rising nurse workload and its impact on performance have become a significant concern in hospital inpatient settings. Increased patient numbers and high Bed Occupancy Rates (BOR) have contributed to greater pressure on nursing staff, potentially affecting the quality of care provided. Objective: The objective of this study was to assess the effect of workload on nurse performance in hospital inpatient settings through a comprehensive review of existing literature. Method: A systematic literature review was conducted, utilizing national and international journals. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) method was applied in four stages: identification (n = 16,816), screening (n = 60), followed by the application of the PICO framework to determine feasibility and relevance, which resulted in 15 articles being included. The literature search involved accessing electronic databases such as Cochrane, PubMed, and Google Scholar. Result: The review of 15 articles revealed that nurse performance is significantly influenced by multiple factors, with high workload being one of the main contributors. Of the 15 articles analyzed, 14 confirmed that high workload is a major challenge nurses face in performing their daily tasks, leading to potential declines in performance. Conclusion: In conclusion, the study confirms that a high workload, especially in hospital inpatient rooms, has a significant negative impact on nurse performance. Addressing workload management through staffing optimization and effective policies is essential to improving the quality of care and ensuring better health outcomes.

Abstract

Pengembangan bisnis di tingkat masyarakat memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan membangun ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Artikel ini membahas implementasi sebuah program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk menggerakkan potensi ekonomi masyarakat melalui pengembangan bisnis lokal. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, berbagai strategi diterapkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam mengelola bisnis mereka. Tahapan kegiatan melibatkan identifikasi pemangku kepentingan, analisis kebutuhan, dan merancang program yang sesuai dengan aspirasi masyarakat. Tujuan utama dari program ini adalah untuk mempromosikan pertumbuhan bisnis yang berkelanjutan dan berdampak positif bagi komunitas setempat. Hasil dari program ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat serta keberlanjutan ekonomi lokal. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala untuk memastikan keberhasilan dan relevansi program, sementara pembaruan dilakukan berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut. Dengan melibatkan semua pemangku kepentingan dan menerapkan strategi berbasis inovasi, program ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi pertumbuhan bisnis lokal yang berkelanjutan. Dukungan dari pemerintah daerah, lembaga masyarakat, dan sektor swasta menjadi kunci untuk kesuksesan implementasi program ini. Dengan demikian, artikel ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya pengembangan bisnis lokal dalam konteks pengabdian kepada masyarakat serta memberikan kerangka kerja untuk pelaksanaan program serupa di berbagai wilayah dengan tantangan ekonomi yang serupa.

Abstract

Taxes are a vital source of state revenue that play a crucial role in supporting fiscal independence and national development. As the contribution of natural resources declines, the government seeks to optimize tax revenue by enhancing public awareness, including among younger generations. This community service activity aimed to instill early tax awareness by introducing Income Tax Article 21 (PPh 21) to senior high school students at Madrasah As’Adiyah in Makassar. The methods used included interactive tax education, simple tax calculation simulations, and assessments to measure students' understanding. The results indicated a high level of enthusiasm, significant improvement in both conceptual and practical understanding of PPh 21, and an increased awareness of the role of taxes in national life. Educating students about PPh 21 proved to be an effective long-term strategy for developing a tax-conscious generation. Therefore, integrating tax education into the formal school curriculum and fostering sustained collaboration with tax authorities are essential to strengthening these outcomes. Keywords: Tax Literacy; Tax Education; Community Service Abstrak Pajak merupakan sumber utama pendapatan negara yang berperan vital dalam mendukung kemandirian fiskal dan pembangunan nasional. Seiring menurunnya kontribusi sektor sumber daya alam, pemerintah mendorong optimalisasi penerimaan pajak melalui peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat, termasuk generasi muda. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan kesadaran pajak sejak dini melalui edukasi Pajak Penghasilan Pasal 21 (PPh 21) kepada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Madrasah As’Adiyah, Makassar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan interaktif, simulasi perhitungan pajak, dan evaluasi pemahaman siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi, peningkatan pemahaman konseptual dan praktis mengenai PPh 21, serta tumbuhnya kesadaran siswa terhadap peran pajak dalam kehidupan berbangsa. Edukasi PPh 21 terbukti efektif sebagai strategi jangka panjang dalam membentuk generasi sadar pajak. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan integrasi materi pajak dalam kurikulum sekolah serta kolaborasi berkelanjutan dengan otoritas perpajakan untuk memperkuat hasil yang dicapai. Abstract

Taxes are one of the main sources of state income, and tax on individual income is one type of tax applied in Indonesia. The government imposes Income Tax (PPh) Article 21 on every individual who receives income from their work. The company where the individual works is responsible for calculating, withholding and recording the PPh, then depositing it to the government and reporting it to the Tax Service Office (KPP). The aim of this research is to analyze the tax calculations carried out by the company. The method used in this research is a descriptive method, namely by collecting, processing and presenting observation data that describes the characteristics of objects. The data used in this research consists of two categories, namely qualitative and quantitative data. The research results show that the calculation of PPh Article 21 for company X in Bekasi for 2022 is in accordance with Law no. 36 of 2008 concerning Income Tax and have carried out the calculation of Article 21 correctly.

Abstract

Swamedikasi adalah pengobatan dilakukan oleh masyarakat tanpa menggunakan resep dokter. Survey Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (SUSENAS) menunjukkan lebih dari 66% masyarakat melakukan pengobatan sendiri (swamedikasi). Siswa (i) SMA merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang masih labil dan mempunyai pengetahuan yang terbatas dalam menggunakan obat. Metode Cara Belajar Insan Aktif (CBIA) adalah model edukasi pemberdayaan siswa agar lebih terampil memilih obat sehingga swamedikasi menjadi lebih efektif, aman, dan hemat biaya. Tujuan kegiatan ialah untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan siswa (i) SMA Neg.1 Kendari tentang swamedikasi dengan metode CBIA. Kegiatan dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Kendari pada bulan April 2017 dengan desain pra-experimental one-group pretest-posttest. Kegiatan menggunakan kuesioner dengan analisis data menggunakan uji T-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji sample paired T-test 0,026<0,05) menunjukkan pengaruh yang bermakna pemberian metode CBIA terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan siswa (i) SMA Negeri 1 Kendari tentang swamedikasi.Kata Kunci : Swamedikasi, Pengetahuan, CBIA

ABSTRACTClitoria ternatea L., a perennial plant in the Fabaceae, is recognized for its resilience in tropical climates and its diverse applications in both culinary and medicinal fields. However, the limited exploration of its genetic diversity constrains breeding efforts aimed at improving desirable traits. This limitation highlights the need to optimize selection strategies, identify superior genotypes, and preserve valuable genetic resources for long-term conservation and crop enhancement. This study aimed to explore genetic variation using molecular markers to analyze C. ternatea genotypes based on petal architecture and color differences. To assess the genetic diversity of C. ternatea, Sanger sequencing of the Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) region and Inter-Simple Sequence Repeat (ISSR) markers were applied to seven wild populations from Sleman, Yogyakarta. The ITS region exhibited no genetic variation, indicating its conserved nature and limited ability to differentiate genotypes. In contrast, ISSR markers effectively detected genetic variation, identifying 62 polymorphic fragments out of 162 total bands. The highest genetic distance (0.297) was observed between the WS and PS genotypes, whereas the double-petal genotypes (WD and PD) displayed the closest phenetic relationship. Among the ISSR primers, UBC-808, UBC-812, and ISSR-6 exhibited high PIC and RP values, confirming their reliability in genetic diversity analysis. These results underscore the utility of ISSR markers as a robust tool for genetic diversity assessment, offering valuable insights for breeding programs and germplasm conservation in C. ternatea.

Abstract

Religious character education was a fundamental aspect in shaping a generation that was not only intellectually intelligent but also morally upright. Amid increasingly complex moral challenges, instilling religious values from the elementary school level had become a critical need. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of religious character values in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education subjects at elementary schools in Menggala District, Tulang Bawang Regency. It also sought to identify the forms of religious character developed in students and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the value formation process. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation at three purposively selected elementary schools. The results showed that teachers played a central role through strategies such as the habituation of 6S, religious role modeling, and integration of Islamic values in lessons. The dominant religious values instilled included faith in Allah, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, honesty, and compassion. The main supporting factors were school support, parental involvement, and a religious social environment. In contrast, the main inhibiting factors included limited instructional time, inadequate facilities, and inconsistency in religious practices at home. These findings highlighted the importance of synergy between schools, families, and communities in sustainably fostering students' religious character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran ekonomi syariah dalam membangun pertumbuhan ekonomi berkelanjutan di Indonesia, dengan menekankan keterkaitan antara prinsip-prinsip Islam dan pencapaian tujuan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) dengan mengkaji jurnal ilmiah, buku, artikel, laporan resmi, dan data statistik terkini terkait perkembangan ekonomi nasional dan sektor keuangan syariah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia pasca pandemi menunjukkan tren positif, tantangan seperti ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan, keberlanjutan lingkungan, dan transformasi struktural masih memerlukan solusi strategis. Ekonomi syariah, melalui instrumen seperti zakat, wakaf produktif, sukuk hijau, dan pembiayaan mikro syariah, memiliki potensi besar untuk mendorong pertumbuhan yang inklusif dan ramah lingkungan. Strategi penguatan regulasi, inovasi instrumen keuangan, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, serta peningkatan literasi dan inklusi keuangan syariah menjadi kunci keberhasilan implementasi model ini. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi prinsip-prinsip syariah dengan kebijakan pembangunan berkelanjutan dapat membentuk perekonomian yang adil, tangguh, dan kompetitif di tingkat global.

Abstract

The holistic childbirth education program aims to prepare couples physically, psychologically, and emotionally for the childbirth process, thereby reducing the risk of complications and improving quality of life. This study evaluated the effectiveness of the program in urban Purwakarta. The research design used a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest design involving 80 couples who participated in the holistic childbirth education program at three maternity clinics. Data were collected through childbirth knowledge and anxiety questionnaires, medical records, and interviews. The results showed a 25% reduction in childbirth complications, a 40% increase in couples' knowledge, and a 30% decrease in anxiety levels. In conclusion, the holistic childbirth education program was proven effective in improving couples' readiness and postpartum quality of life.
