Abstract

This study investigates the influence of visionary leadership, organizational culture, empowerment, achievement motivation, and trust on the quality of instructor services for vocational teachers in the fields of business and tourism in DKI Jakarta. The study focuses on alumni of upskilling and reskilling programs conducted by the Center for Development and Quality Assurance of Vocational Education for Business and Tourism (Balai Besar Pengembangan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Vokasi/BPPMPV Bisnis dan Pariwisata). Using a quantitative approach, the research applies path analysis to examine direct and indirect relationships among variables, with achievement, motivation and trust serving as mediators. Results show that all five independent variables significantly affect instructor service quality, with visionary leadership and organizational culture positively influencing motivation, while organizational culture and empowerment impact trust. To enhance practical applicability, the study employs the Scientific Identification Theory to Conduct Operation Research in Education Management (SITOREM) to identify priority areas for improvement. The analysis highlights key low-performing indicators—such as responsiveness, assurance, and clarity in leadership vision—that hold high strategic value. The findings contribute a comprehensive and evidence-based model for improving the quality of instructor services in vocational education. Furthermore, this study provides actionable insights for policymakers, training institutions, and educational leaders in developing targeted strategies to improve professional development outcomes and institutional performance.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a strategy to improve the effectiveness of training through strengthening the variables of instructor competence, training design, training environment, training materials as independent variables and achievement motivation variables as intervening variables. A population of 685 resulted in 253 samples taken by proportional random sampling in 9 Fields of Expertise of Business and Tourism Vocational High School Teachers Participants in the BBPPMPV Business and Tourism Upskilling and Reskilling Training. This study used a survey method with a path analysis approach and SITOREM analysis. The results of this study can be concluded: 1) There is a significant positive direct effect between instructor competence, training design, training environment and achievement motivation on training effectiveness (Y); There is a significant positive direct effect between instructor competence, training design, training environment and training on achievement motivation; There is a significant positive indirect effect between instructor competence, training design, training environment and training materials on training effectiveness through achievement motivation. Achievement motivation cannot mediate instructor competence, training design, training environment on training effectiveness. The results of the SITOREM analysis show that the indicators that are still weak and need to be improved are: 1. interpersonal skills, 2. clarity of training objectives, 3. alignment of learning components, 4. learning support, 5. visual and interactive quality, 6. up-to-date and accuracy, 7. challenging objectives, 8. results orientation, 9. response to feedback, 10. learning support, 11. participant involvement, 12. learning, 13. reaction.

Abstract

This study aims to explore strategies for improving Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among teachers, particularly focusing on the roles of organizational culture, transformational leadership, self-efficacy, and trust in enhancing teachers' voluntary behavior within educational organizations. Using quantitative research methods with path analysis and SITOREM analysis, the research examines the direct and indirect effects of these variables on OCB. The results indicate that organizational culture, transformational leadership, self-efficacy, and trust all have direct positive and significant effects on OCB. Furthermore, trust serves as an effective intervening variable in the relationship between organizational culture, transformational leadership, self-efficacy, and OCB. The findings suggest that enhancing these key factors can significantly improve teachers' OCB, leading to a more productive, effective, and supportive educational environment. The SITOREM analysis provides insights into the priority indicators that need to be developed to optimize the strategies for fostering OCB in educational settings.

Abstract

This research examines strategies for improving Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among teachers by strengthening Servant Leadership, Organizational Culture, Interpersonal Communication, and Perceived Organizational Support (POS). The study, conducted in a private high school in Depok, Indonesia, utilizes a quantitative approach and path analysis to evaluate the direct and indirect effects of these variables on OCB. The results show that Servant Leadership, Organizational Culture, Interpersonal Communication, and POS all have direct positive and significant effects on OCB. Additionally, POS acts as an effective intervening variable, enhancing the impact of Servant Leadership, Organizational Culture, and Interpersonal Communication on OCB. The research findings suggest that fostering these factors can significantly improve OCB, which in turn enhances organizational effectiveness and the overall educational environment. The SITOREM analysis further identifies key indicators that need strengthening to optimize the strategies for increasing OCB in educational settings.

Abstract

Salah satu tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat Kelurahan Sumurrejo. Kegiatan difokuskan pada bidang ekonomi dan kesejahteraan serta kesehatan dan gizi. Dalam aspek ekonomi, dilakukan digitalisasi pemasaran produk tempe dan susu sapi perah guna meningkatkan jangkauan pasar. Di bidang kesehatan, edukasi pemberian makanan tambahan (PMT) berbasis bahan pangan lokal yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan gizi balita. Hasil pelaksanaan KKN menunjukkan bahwa ada dampak positif bagi masyarakat, baik dalam peningkatan pendapatan usaha lokal maupun peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya perbaikan gizi, terutama bagi anak-anak balita. Melalui pendekatan yang sistematis, program KKN dapat berjalan dengan baik tanpa ada hambatan yang berarti. Direkomendasikan hasil dan program diharapkan dapat dilanjutkan oleh peserta KKN berikutnya sehingga masyarakat lebih sejahtera.

Abstract

This study aims to examine a model of teachers' organizational commitment by conducting surveys and field observations related to the factors influencing teachers' organizational commitment. In the qualitative phase, which involved interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) with teachers and school principals, the researcher developed a research constellation model consisting of three independent variables: psychological empowerment, authentic leadership, and interpersonal communication. The intervening variable is pedagogical competence. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, with qualitative research used to explore the variables in the field and quantitative research used to test the constructed model. The sample consisted of 160 civil servant teachers teaching at 15 public junior high schools (SMP Negeri) in region 2 of East Jakarta. The model was tested using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that the R² value was 0.927, indicating that 92.7% of the variance in teachers' organizational commitment could be explained by the variables in the model. The dominant contributions came from psychological empowerment and pedagogical competence. The Q² value was 0.621, which is greater than 0.05, suggesting that the exogenous variables X1, X2, and X3 are appropriate and relevant predictors for the endogenous construct X4. The Goodness of Fit (GoF) analysis showed an SRMR value of less than 0.08 (under 0.1), indicating that the tested model fits the data well. Additionally, the PLS Predict analysis revealed that the Q²_predict values from the PLS model were higher (8) than those from the linear model (LM), which had only 2. Therefore, it can be concluded that the model has a strong predictive power.

Abstract

Improving teachers' professional competence is the main demand in dealing with curriculum changes and educational technology developments. Biology teachers as part of the implementation of science education are required not only to master the teaching materials, but also to be able to manage innovative and student-centered learning. However, the reality is that there are still many teachers who experience obstacles in implementing experiential learning, both due to limited training and supportive learning media. In addition, conventional training that has been attended by teachers is considered less flexible and ineffective to support in-depth mastery of the material. Therefore, an experiential learning cycle-based training model developed through digital platforms is needed, so that it is able to answer the challenge of developing teachers' professional competencies in a sustainable and flexible manner. The research approach used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) research method. The data collection techniques used in this study are interview techniques and declassification analysis. The analysis method used in this research and development is an analysis that is able to support the achievement of the goals of research and development activities, namely a website-based experiential learning cycle training management model. Based on the results of theoretical studies, regulations, and needs analysis in the field, a website-based experiential learning cycle training model has been developed which is packaged in an application called LearnPress, in order to improve the professional competence of teachers in Indonesia. This model is designed in accordance with the concept of experiential learning and teacher competency strengthening policies. The validation results from the material experts showed that the training content was very good in supporting the mastery of biology material, while the validation from the media expert confirmed the feasibility of the display, navigation, and interactivity of the website as a digital learning medium. Effectiveness tests through various stages of scale show that LearnPress is highly effective and contributes positively to improving teachers' professional competence.

Abstract

Kualitas SDM akan berpengaruh pada tingkat kesejahteraan suatu masyarakat atau keluarga, apabila suatu keluarga tingkat kesejahteraannya rendah, akan berakibat pada rendahnya aspek-aspek kehidupan lainnya. Di Dusun Kesongo Kecamatan Tuntang Kabupaten Semarang, mayoritas penduduknya bermatapencaaharian sebagai petani dan memiliki tingkat kesejahteraan menengah ke bawah. Keberadaan kelompok diharapkan menjadi sarana dan motivasi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka. Permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu belum maksimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi (HP) sebagai sarana promosi produknya. Untuk mengatasi berbagai persoalan tersebut yang paling utama adalah meningkatkan kualitas SDM anggota kelompok wanita tani dengan berbagai pelatihan terutama yang menyangkut kemampuan pemanfaatan penggunaan teknologi (HP) khususnya media sosial sebagai sarana pengembangan usaha yang merekabangun. Luaran yang hendak dicapai adalah meningkatan pemanfaatan media sosial melalui HP sebagai sarana untuk pengembangan UMKM dari kelompok wanita tani. Hasil kegiatan dari pengabdian ini sangat bermanfaat, sebab memunculkan motivasi untuk meningkatkan pengembangan usaha yang semakin baik, pengelolaan, sarana prasaranya juga dapat dipenuhi walaupun masih skala kecil. Peningkatan produksi dan perluasan pemasaran secara perlahan juga dapat ditingkatkan. Namun ada kendala yang dihadapi dari anggota kelompok sinyal yang tidak stabil. Abstract

Rendahnya sikap entrepreneur warga masyarakat khususnya karang taruna, sehingga mereka mempunyai daya saing tinggi dan mandiri di dunia global. Rendahnya ketrampilan warga khususnya karang taruna, sehingga perlu upaya untuk peningkatan ketrampilan warga melalui pelatihan membuat hantaran pernikahan. Rendahnya pemahaman warga, terutama tentang pentingnya pelestarian adat istiadat yang hidup dalam masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan informasi dan wawasan serta pelatihan hantaran pernikahan bagi masyarakat akan pentingnya untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan Enterpreneur (jiwa kewirausahaan) khususnya warga usia produktif atau kelompok karang taruna, sehingga mereka mempunyai daya saing dan dapat mandiri di dunia global atau di era revolusi industri 4.0, agar warga masyarakat ini memahami pentingnya jiwa wirausaha dan kemudian mengembangkannya sebagai warga yang siap menghadapi berbagai perubahan dan mampu bertahan dan mandiri di dunia global. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian meliputi metode ceramah, presentasi, penayangan materi, diskusi dan demontrasi tentang upaya pemberdayaan karang taruna melalui ketrampilan membuat hantaran pernikahan di kelurahan patemon kecamatan Gunungpati Kota semarang. Simpulannya yaitu dapat manfaatkan peluang usaha yang nantinya mendapat uang yang bernilai lebih apabila memanfaatkan kemampunnya berupa keterampilan-keterampilan.

Abstract

Era new normal paska pandemic covid-19 memunculkan tatanan baru, seperti penggunaan gadget untuk belajar siswa selama masa pandemi, saat ini lebih dimanfaatkan untuk berinteraksi dan mengakses media sosial. Fenomena ini berdampak pada tanggung jawab orang tua terhadap anak menjadi lebih berat. PPM ini bertujuan memperluas wawasan orang tua dalam pendampingan anak pada aspek religi, sosial, pendidikan dan penyediaan makanan sehat dan bergizi untuk tumbuh kembang anak di era new normal. Pelaksanaan PPM dengan metode presentasi, tanya jawab, diskusi dengan contoh-contoh makanan sehat dan bergizi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan para orang tua telah memahami dan membiasakan anak menjalankan ibadah, nilai religi dan sosial. Pendampingan pada aspek pendidikan dihadapkan pada kendala orang tua tidak memahami materi pelajaran dan tidak menguasai penggunaan gadget, sehingga orang tua tidak yakin benar, anak sedang belajar atau sedang bermain gadget. Pendampingan pada aspek kesehatan dihadapkan pada kendala kurangnya pengetahuan dan variasi jenis makanan sehat dan bergizi. Makanan frozen menjadi pilihan yang murah, mudah dan disukai anak, tanpa memperhatikan kandungan gizinya.
