Abstract

The ability of a country to progress and develop is highly dependent on its level of education. The mentality of the young generation is increasing rapidly through both formal and informal education. The importance of education has driven the growth of the education sector, which is now a major industry and even a separate business sector. When a business in the education sector is established, the competition is to win the hearts of parents and convince them to enroll their children in the school. Through parental satisfaction at SMP Strada Budi Luhur, Bekasi City, this study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and trust on the decision to choose a school. Path analysis combined with quantitative methods was used in this study. The sample consisted of 223 parents selected using random sampling techniques. The results of the study showed that: (1) There is a direct and significant relationship between service quality and parental decisions; (2) There is a direct and significant relationship between trust and satisfaction; (3) There is a direct and significant relationship between service quality and parental decisions; (4) There is a direct and significant relationship between trust and parental decisions; (5) There is a direct and significant relationship between satisfaction and parental decisions; (6) There is a direct and significant influence between service quality and parental decisions mediated by satisfaction as an intervening variable; (7) There is a direct and significant relationship between service quality and parents' decisions. Keyword: Service Quality, Trust, Satisfaction, Parents' DecisionsResource Quality

Abstract

The quality of Human Resources is one of the factors that determines the progress of a country. Quality human resources cannot be separated from quality education as well. One important aspect of the world of education is teachers. A teacher's job is not only to teach but also to educate students to become quality people. Therefore, a teacher must have sufficient competence. One of the competencies possessed by a teacher is pedagogical competency. Pedagogical competency is a competency that differentiates the teaching profession from other professions. The differences in characteristics of each student and the curriculum that continues to develop are the main reasons that every teacher is obliged to improve his or her pedagogical competence. With adequate pedagogical competence, it is hoped that the level of success in the learning process can be achieved for all students. This research aims to determine and analyze: 1) the influence of academic supervision on teacher pedagogical competence, 2) the influence of organizational culture on teacher pedagogical competence, 3) the influence of work motivation on teacher pedagogical competence, and 4) the influence of academic supervision, organizational culture and work motivation overall together towards teacher pedagogical competence. This research was conducted at the Perkumpulan Strada Middle School, Cabang Jakarta Utara Timur, which consists of four school units. The sampling method used was the saturated or sesus sampling method where all 51 teachers of the Perkumpulan Strada Middle School, Cabang Jakarta Utara Timur, were used as samples for this research. The results of the study show that the academic supervision variable has a positive and significant effect on the pedagogical competence of teachers at the the Perkumpulan Strada Middle School, Cabang Jakarta Utara Timur, and the organizational culture variable also has a positive and significant effect on the pedagogical competence of teachers at the the Perkumpulan Strada Middle School, Cabang Jakarta Utara Timur. Still, the work motivation variable has no effect on the pedagogical competence of teachers at the the Perkumpulan Strada Middle School, Cabang Jakarta Utara Timur. Academic supervision, organizational culture, and work motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the pedagogical competence of teachers at the the Perkumpulan Strada Middle School, Cabang Jakarta Utara Timur. Keyword: Academic supervision, Organizational Culture, Work Motivation and Pedagogical Competence

Abstract

Abstract: Teacher’s performance is the most important thing that must be considered in order to improve the quality of education. The research is conducted at St. Thomas Aquino Senior High School fo find out: 1) does the work discipline influence the teacher’s performance at St. Thomas Aquino Senior High School? 2) does the work of motivation influence the teacher’s performance at St. Thomas Aquino Senior High School? 3) does the work environment influence the teacher’s performance at St. Thomas Aquino Senior High School 4) whwther the discipline, motivation, dan the work environment simultaneously influences the teacher’s performance at St. Thomas Aquino Senior High School? Data were collected from 35 respondents who were saturated samples using a questionnaire. The research method used was quantitative. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests and classical assumption tests. The research method used was multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 26. The results show that work discipline partially and significantly influences teacher performance at SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino. Work motivation partially does not significantly influence teacher performance at SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino. The work environment partially does not significantly influence teacher performance at SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino. Discipline, motivation, and work environment simultaneously influence teacher performance at SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino Keyword: Work Discipline, Teacher Performance, Work Environment, Work Motivation. Abstrak: Kinerja guru menjadi hal penting yang harus diperhatikan untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino untuk mengetahui; 1) apakah disiplin kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Strada St. Thomas AquinoTangerang? 2) apakah motivasi kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino Tangerang? 3)apakah lingkungan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino Tangerang? 4) apakah disiplin kerja, motivasi kerja, dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino Tangerang? Data dikumpulkan dari 35 responden yang merupakan sampel jenuh dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitaif. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas serta uji asumsi klasik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja secara parsial maupun memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino. Motivasi kerja secara parsial tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhaap kinerja guru di SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino. Lingkungan kerja secara parsial tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino. Disiplin, motivasi, dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan memberikan pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Strada St. Thomas Aquino. Kata kunci: Disipllin Kerja, Kinerja Guru, Lingkungan Kerja, Motivasi Kerja.

Abstract

Abstract: Teacher performance is a visible result when the teacher carries out the tasks and work given. Organizations or schools certainly need potential human resources, both leaders and teachers, in the pattern of tasks and supervision which determines the achievement of company goals. The Strada Association has the goal of an educational community that is superior, caring and has a spirit of service. The important role of teachers in learning has an impact on the quality of students. The aim of the research is to find out whether competence, communication and work motivation have a partial and simultaneous effect on the performance of teachers at the Strada Association Middle School, North East Jakarta Branch. The method used was multiple linear regression, with the help of SPSS 26 software. The sampling method was a saturated sampling method with an online questionnaire, where a total of 57 teachers at Perkumpulan Strada Middle School, North East Jakarta Branch, were sampled in this research. The results of the research show that the competency and communication variables have no effect on the performance of the Strada Middle School teachers, North East Jakarta Branch, while the work motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Strada Middle School teachers, the North East Jakarta Branch. Keyword: Competence, Communication, Work Motivation and Teacher Performance Abstrak: Kinerja guru merupakan hasil yang terlihat saat guru mengemban tugas dan pekerjaan yang diberikan. Organisasi atau sekolah tentunya membutuhkan adanya sumber daya manusia yang potensial, baik itu pemimpin maupun guru pada pola tugas serta pengawasan yang merupakan penentu tercapainya tujuan perusahaan. Perkumpulan Strada memiliki tujuan komunitas pendidikan yang unggul, peduli dan berjiwa melayani. Pentingnya peran guru dalam pembelajaran berdampak pada kualitas peserta didik. Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah kompetensi, komunikasi dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara partial dan simultan terhadap kinerja guru SMP Perkumpulan Strada Cabang Jakarta Utara Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda, dengan bantuan software SPSS 26. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah metode sampling jenuh dengan kuesioner online, dimana keseluruhan 57 guru di SMP Perkumpulan Strada Cabang Jakarta Utara Timur, dijadikan sampel pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel kompetensi dan komunikasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru SMP Perkumpulan Strada Cabang Jakarta Utara Timur, sedangkan variabel motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru SMP Perkumpulan Strada Cabang Jakarta Utara Timur. Kata kunci: Kompetensi, Komunikasi, Motivasi Kerja dan Kinerja Guru

Abstract

 Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of teacher feedback, learning attitudes, and family environment on students’ academic achievement at SMA Alfa Centauri in Bandung. A quantitative approach was employed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with data collected from 100 respondents. The results revealed that, partially, only the family environment had a significant effect on academic achievement, while teacher feedback and learning attitudes did not show significant direct effects. However, simultaneously, the three independent variables were able to explain 31.1% of the variance in academic achievement, as indicated by an R² value of 0.311. These findings highlight the critical role of the family environment in supporting students’ academic success and emphasize the need for integrated efforts to strengthen a culture of learning within schools. Keywords: Academic achievement, Teacher feedback, Learning attitudes, Family                 environment. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian umpan balik, sikap belajar, dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA Alfa Centauri Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) terhadap 100 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, hanya lingkungan keluarga yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, sedangkan pemberian umpan balik dan sikap belajar tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Namun demikian, secara simultan ketiga variabel independen tersebut mampu menjelaskan 31,1% variasi hasil belajar, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh nilai R² sebesar 0.311. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya peran lingkungan keluarga dalam mendukung keberhasilan akademik siswa serta perlunya pendekatan terpadu dalam penguatan budaya belajar di sekolah. Kata kunci: Hasil belajar, Umpan balik, Sikap belajar, Lingkungan keluarga..
