Abstract

Developing cognitive learning objectives becomes prior needs to be prepared by teachers. The aspect of early childhood education includes language development, physical-motor, cognitive, socio-emotional, religious-morality, and art. The development of cognitive aspects becomes very important in efforts to develop lesson planning, learning materials, and assessment. This study aims to produce instructional media on cognitive aspects that are appropriate to the characteristics of early childhood education. The instructional media was developed using the research and development design with Rowntree model. The Rowntree development model consists of 3 phases, those are planning phase, development phase, and the evaluation phase. The study was conducted involving 10 early childhood education institutions in Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Data was collected by documenting the learning process and utilizing rubrics for assessing the development of cognitive domain. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis to describe the quality of the products on cognitive domain in early childhood education. The results showed that the development of cognitive aspects in early childhood learning consisted of three aspects, namely aspects of learning and problem solving, aspects of logical thinking, and aspects of symbolic thinking. The development of cognitive aspects in early childhood education for children aged 5-6 years based on Anderson and Krathwohl's Taxonomy produced 18 learning objectives. On the other hand, the development of cognitive aspects in early childhood education aged 4-5 years based on the taxonomy of Anderson and Krathwohl produced 15 learning objectives. The learning objectives of the results of the development had been examined by instructional content experts, instructional design experts, and product user. The test results in the cognitive aspects of learning objectives are in the "very good" category.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis community service activity is motivated by the problems of STKIP Citra Bakti students, including: (1) mastery of the theories used in writing scientific papers is very minimal; (2) the ability to access scientific work information from various sources is still minimal. (3) scientific principles used in writing are still low; (4) there are still many copy-pastes found. Therefore, there is a need for efforts to prevent plagiarism in writing scientific papers among STKIP Citra Bakti students through sharing sessions with the theme "Plagiarism Behavior and Anti-Plagiarism Strategies in Writing Scientific Papers" and open a consultation room if students have difficulty dealing with plagiarism problems in the scope of STKIP Citra Bakti. The method of carrying out activities is through lectures, presentations, face-to-face, and discussions by semi-online.The target audience of this mentoring program is 109 STKIP Citra Bakti students who are currently taking thesis courses. The indicator for the success of the activity is based on the positive response of participants to the implementation of sharing session activities and the student's thesis script passes the similarity check with a similarity tolerance <30% as a requirement for participating in the thesis trial at STKIP Citra Bakti. The results of the similarity check for student thesis scripts found that there were 128 thesis checks where 46 (35.9%) passed the similarity check in the first stage, 31 (24.2%) passed the similarity check in the second stage, 25 (19.5%) passed the similarity check. similarity check more than twice. Keywords: scientific paper; writing; prevention; sharing session.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the use of anecdotal assessment in measuring the cognitive learning achievement of early childhood children in the context of the Merdeka curriculum at the Integrated Early Childhood Education Citra Bakti. The method applied is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Primary data sources include interview results and observations of children's and teachers' activities, while secondary sources consist of documented planning and assessments previously conducted. Data analysis was performed descriptively. The research findings indicate that at the Integrated Early Childhood Education Citra Bakti, the Merdeka curriculum is implemented using anecdotal assessment, covering achievements in religious values, morals, identity, and literacy. The effectiveness of anecdotal assessment is proven in evaluating the learning achievements of early childhood children in the Merdeka curriculum, providing a comprehensive overview of social, emotional, and cognitive development aspects. This approach is in line with the principles of the Merdeka curriculum, which focuses on developing the creativity, independence, and uniqueness of each child. The use of direct observation in anecdotal assessment also provides opportunities for educators to better understand the individual needs and interests of children. By analyzing children's activity anecdotes, educators can provide more accurate responses to their individual needs and interests, allowing for the development of appropriate learning strategies that support the holistic development of children.
