Abstract

This research is based on the lesson of Civics that can not activate the low student learning outcomes in class V SD Negeri 04 Sungai Naniang Bukit Barisan Subdistrict of Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of students' learning outcomes in the learning of Civics by applying STAD learning model on students of class V SD Negeri 04 Sungai Naniang Bukit Barisan Subdistrict, Lima Puluh Kota District. The type of research is PTK by using qualitative and quantitative approach. Student learning outcomes cycle I 67 increased to 82 in cycle II.Dengan, learning Civics by applying the model on STAD can improve learning outcomes Civics students class V SD Negeri 04 Sungai Naniang District Bukit Barisan District Lima Puluh KotaKey Word :Result study, PKn, model STAD

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and increase in student learning outcomes in social studies learning by using the Co-op Co-op Cooperative Learning an Methode in the fifth grade of elementary school. Types of this research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subject was 29 grade V students consisting of 16 men and 13woman. The research procedure consistend of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The result of the study showed and increase in aspects: a) RPP cycle I with an average of 71,42% and cycle II 92,85%, b) implementation on the aspect of the teacher cycle I with an average of 77,27% and the second cycle 95,45%, while for the implemenetation of aspect of the students of the first cycle with an average 74,99% and cycle II 93,18%, c) learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average of 71,76 and cycle II 86,18. The conclusions from the result of the research conducted are using the Co-op Co-opCooperative Learning anMethode improve student learning outcomes in social stundent learning in class V SDN 17 Bungo Pasang City of Padang

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to improve the student learning outcomes in the Civics learning used Role Playing in grade V elementary school. Types of this research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Subject of this research were teacher and students of  V grades were 20. Research conducted in two cycles. The research procedure includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result of this research I to II cycle. (a) Lesson plan. The cycle of I was 78% increased to 92% in the II cycle. (b) Implementation, teacher’s activity of I cycle was 79,1% increased to 95%. Students activity of I cycle had averaged was 80% increased in the cycle was 95%. (c) The students learning outcomes in the I cycle was 71,4 increased to II cycle wa 83,1. Therefore, Role Playing appoach can increase the students learning outcomes in the Civics learning in the V grade of elementary school of 16  in Campago Ipuh Kota Bukittinggi.

Abstract

THE CORRELATION OF STUDENTS’ LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND THEIR LEARNING OUTCOMES OF SOCIAL SCIENCE SUBJECT AT CLASS V OF PRIMARY SCHOOLS AbstractThis research is done due to the fact that student’s learning activities and their learning outcomes of Social Science subject were still low. This research aims at finding out the correlation between the learning activities and learning outcomes of Social Science subject at class V. This quantitative research applied the correlational method. The population was all 5th grade students of SD Semen Padang with the total number of 43 students. Sample were chosen by using saturation sampling technique. The research result show that there is a positive and strong realitionship between students’ activities and their learning outcomes with the correlation coefficient of 0.798.Keywords: Learning Activities, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by low student learning outcomes, the purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of achievement on learning of citizenship education subject by using cooperative type Think Pair Share (TPS) in fourth grade Lubuk Buaya elementary school 58 Padang, the sample of study subjects was teacher and 22 students. The findings of this research showed that cycle I was average 88% on result of planning, cycle II was 96,42%. Observation on teacher’s aspects cycle I was average 79% cycle II was 91,1%. Observation on student’s aspect cycle I was 76% , cycle II was 91,1%. Student’s achievement cycle I was 74,00%, cycle II was 84,71%.

Abstract

This research is done done due to the fact that 5th  grade student’s learning outcomes of civics subject were still low. Moreover, the teacher had never applied the STAD model in the classroom. This research aims at finding out yhe effects of applying the model toward the students’ learning outcomes. This quasi experiment used the nonequivalent control group design. The population was all 5th grade students of primary schools. Samples were chosen by using the saturation sampling techique in which VB acted as the experimental class and VA as the control one. The research result shows that bby using t-test with the level of significant of 0,05, tcount > P-Value and tcount = -3.421 and P-Value = 0.001. Thus, the H1 hypothes is accepted.Keyword : the STAD Model, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this research was improve the students achievement in learning social science used Problem Solving of 5th grade elementary school. Types of this research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Subject of this research were students of 5th grade were 30 people consist of 12 men and 18 women. Research conducted in two cycles with research procedure includes of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result of research was improve a) Lesson plan the cycles of I was 75% and the cycles II of 92,86% b) Implementation teacher’s activity of I cycle was 73,43% and II cycle was 93,75% while implementation students activity of I cycle was 73,43% and II cycle was 90,62% c) the students learning outcomes in the I cycle was 77,72 and II cycle was 86,92. It can be concluded that used Problem Solving method can improve students achievement in learning social science of 5th grade at SDN 09 ATB Kota Padang.Keyword : Learning outcomes, Social science, Problem Solving

Abstract: Effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on student learning outcomes in Social Science Class IV at SD N 07 Sintoga.The purpose of this research was to effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on student learning outcomes in Social Science Class IV at SD N 07 Sintoga, in the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. This research is a quantitative research with experimental type and quasy experimental research design. Sampling data is taken by purposive sampling. The sample of this study amounted to 50 people, with a population of 50 people. Abstract

This research aims at finding out the effects of using the STAD Model toward students learning outcomes of the Civics subjuct at class IV. This quasi experiment applied the non-equivalent control group design. The population was all 4th grade students of SDN 03 Simpang Haru. The samples were the students of class IVA and IVB. It was found that the average score of the control group students’ posttest was 82.83 and the experiment group’s score was 87.50. The score of tcount was -3.021 with the P-Value of 0.004. Thus, the score of the P-Value was lower than α = 0.05. It means H0 is denied
