Abstract

The Independent Curriculum provides freedom to teachers and students in the learning process by focusing on the development of holistic competencies that include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This take and give learning method is in line with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. This method emphasizes active and collaborative interaction between learners. This study aims to explore the application of the take and give method in learning the Qur'an Hadith at MTs Al-Azhar Sempu Banyuwangi to improve students' social skills. The social skills in question include communication, cooperation, empathy, and problem-solving, which are often less accommodated in conventional learning methods. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation, then the data is analyzed with the stages of data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusions drawing/verifying. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study show that the take and give method is effective in improving students' social skills through improving communication skills, cooperation, and empathy, as well as applying the values of the Qur'an and Hadith in daily life. The contribution of this research to the development of a more holistic learning method and relevant to the principles of the Independent Curriculum. The take and give method is expected to be an innovative method to improve students' social skills.

Abstract

This research analyzes strategies of islamic education teachers based on local wisdom in enhancing learning quality in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 6 Banyuwangi. This research uses a qualitative case study type approach. The research subjects included the Head of the Madrasah, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, PAI Teachers, Religious Figures, local cultural figures, and students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that PAI teachers who integrate local wisdom values into the curriculum and teaching methods can increase student engagement and motivation. Effective strategies include using learning materials that contain local culture, developing extracurricular activities that focus on local traditions, and collaborating with local communities to provide contextual learning experiences. Applying local wisdom in PAI learning increases students' understanding of religious material and strengthens their cultural identity, ultimately improving the quality of education in madrasas. This research suggests that PAI curriculum development should pay more attention to local wisdom as an integral part of learning strategies to achieve more holistic and meaningful educational outcomes. Artikel ini menganalisis strategi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berbasis kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 6 Banyuwangi. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian meliputi Kepala Madrasah, Wakil Kepala Madrasah Bidang Kurikulum, Wakil Kepala Madrasah Bidang Bidang Kesiswaan, Guru PAI, Tokoh Agama, Tokoh Budaya, dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal ke dalam kurikulum dan metode pengajaran, dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa. Strategi yang efektif antara lain dengan menggunakan materi pembelajaran yang memuat budaya lokal, mengembangkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang fokus pada tradisi lokal, dan berkolaborasi dengan komunitas lokal untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual. Penerapan kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran PAI meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi keagamaan dan memperkuat identitas budayanya, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di madrasah. Artikel ini menyarankan agar pengembangan kurikulum PAI sebaiknya lebih memperhatikan kearifan lokal sebagai bagian integral dari strategi pembelajaran untuk mencapai hasil pendidikan yang lebih holistik dan bermakna. Kata Kunci: Local wisdom; Learning Quality; Contextual Learning Experiences.

Abstract

Teacher daily observation  show that students often do rowdy, seeking attention with do the bad something  and difficult to control is a child of the broken home family. It is then encourage to conduct research with the objectives to undertake a deeper case study on the influence of broken home family against the moral and psychosocial development of grade V students of SDN 1 Sumberbaru. The study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Participants in this study were chosen with purposive samples, so that two students from the fifth grade of SDN 1 Sumberbaru were M.J. S and M.K.L. The data analysis techniques use thematic analysis. Research results describe that  broken home family have influenced on moral and psychosocial development of participants. It can be described as bad moral behavior that arises: make mistakes and do not want to apologize; often do not obey the school order; and seek attention by making noise during lesson hours. The behavior of his psychosocial development is the following: not the spirit of learning a new experience; the child is not confident; and often compare herself with friends. Abstrak ;Hasil observasi harian guru menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang sering berbuat gaduh, suka mencari perhatian dengan berbuat buruk dan sulit dikontrol merupakan anak dari keluarga broken home. Hal tersebut kemudian mendorong untuk melaksanakan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk melakukan sebuah studi kasus yang mengkaji lebih dalam pengaruh keluarga broken home terhadap perkembangan moral dan psikososial siswa kelas V SDN 1 Sumberbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini dipilih dengan purposive sample sehingga diperoleh dua siswa kelas V SDN 1 Sumberbaru yaitu M.J.S dan M.K.L. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis tematik.  Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa ada pengaruh keluarga broken home terhadap perkembangan moral dan psikososial partisipan. Dapat dijabarkan perilaku moral buruk yang muncul yaitu: membuat kesalahan dan tidak mau minta maaf; sering tidak mentaati tata tertib sekolah; dan mencari perhatian dengan membuat kegaduhan saat jam pelajaran. Adapun perilaku yang menunjukkan terhambatnya perkembangan psikososialnya sebagai berikut: tidak semangat mempelajari pengalaman baru; anak tidak percaya diri; dan sering membandingkan dirinya dengan teman.

Abstract

Fiqh education at MTs Darul Amien Jajag often relies on conventional media, which tends to be less engaging and leads to low student achievement. In an effort to improve the quality of education, teachers face the challenge of incorporating more modern and engaging media, such as video learning. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of using video learning to enhance students' learning outcomes in the Fiqh subject. The research employed a Quasi-Experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of eighth-grade students at MTs Darul Amien Jajag, with class VIII A as the experimental group and class VIII B as the control group. The results indicate that the use of video learning significantly improved student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the significant difference between pretest and posttest scores in the experimental class compared to the control class. The findings suggest that video media can be an effective alternative for improving the quality of Fiqh education.

Abstract

Community service on the socialization of sex education to teachers and students to improve understanding and skills related to sexual violence in children as an effort to prevent sexual violence against children. This service is also motivated by the results of cases of sexual abuse in children which are increasing every year so that prevention is needed through psychoeducation of sex in children. The method used in this service is mentoring and training which consists of three stages, namely preparation, implementation and monev. After this service program, the ability of teachers and students to demonstrate that sex education can increase teacher and student understanding of sexual violence.

Abstract

Limitations in writing skills can arise because of the difficulty of mastering these language skills compared to language skills. This devotion aims to provide knowledge and skills in writing scientific articles of papers. The approach used in dedication to writing this scientific paper is Service Learning (SL). This service is carried out through the stages of providing a number of materials on how and tricks to write papers, providing opportunities for each participant in practical training in each session and reflecting, and guiding participants to complete papers. While the results of this dedication students have knowledge and understanding of preparing papers, the ability to compile papers, and have the ability to access various references from various sources. The result of this activity is that students are able to write papers properly and correctly and apply them in the academic world.

Abstract

The purpose of holding this Community Service activity is to cultivate the leadership spirit of the management of the sons and daughters' cottages with material that has been adapted to the times, as well as actual and current. In addition, it is hoped that it can move the management of the children's and daughters' cottages to develop their leadership spirit. The implementation method uses extension techniques using projectors, seminars, forum discussions and questions and answers. The results of this service activity can open the insights of the management of pondok putera and puteri about various leadership styles, so that it not only provides additional knowledge but can also be applied, especially in the management of islamic boarding schools. In addition, it can also help and increase the knowledge of the administrators of the children's and daughters' cottages related to various leadership styles of kyai today.

Abstract

So far, the management of orphan funds at Al-Inayah mosque has been made bookkeeping globally so that there are difficulties in making financial reports to the community, planning and managing funds that are not neatly organized so that the management is considered unaccountable and transparent. So that a mentoring activity or counselor is needed that can help managers more precisely in choosing and sorting out various priorities for orphan needs, can plan the use of funds properly, carry out appropriate activities, correct evaluation, neat organization, compile financial statements in accordance with financial accounting standards, accountable and transparent. The methods used are problem analysis, formation & socialization of new management, provision of financial management materials &; financial transparency, coordination of orphan guardians & account creation, and evaluation. The result obtained is that the implementation of assistance in the management of orphan funds at the Al-Inayah mosque in Melik hamlet, Parijatah Kulon village has gone according to plan, runs in an orderly manner, smoothly and is able to provide benefits and convenience to mentoring participants and orphans. This community service activity needs to be continued in the future so that the ability to manage orphans' funds becomes even better.

Abstract

The study was backed by a low interest in the students' reading of SKI subjects. The use of this library is a new strategy in learning as an effort to improve the quality of learning by synergize between learning activities and libraries as a media source and learning media. The study aims to determine whether or not the influence of the school library is influenced by the reading interest in the class XI religious SKI subjects in MAN 2 Banyuwangi. The type of research used is a correlational descriptive method of using a quantitative approach. To collect research data, authors use observation methods, interviews, polls and documentation. The subject of this study amounted to 41 respondents taken through probability sampling data retrieval techniques and cluster sampling instruments. The data analysis techniques used are validity tests and reliability tests.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of subject teacher consultation training (MGMP) and incentives on teacher performance in private MTS in Curup District. This was a descriptive quantitative study. The population engaged all private MTs teachers in Curup District totaling 95 people. This study deployed a purposive sampling technique, so that 50 people were obtained as the samples according to the criteria. The instrument used was a questionnaire and documentation. The analysis employed descriptive percentage analysis method and multiple linear regression. The results of the regression analysis at the 5% confidence level showed that MGMP training and incentives contributed 71.89% to the performance of teachers in private MTS in Curup District, and the partial contribution from MGMP training was 53.3% and incentive was 62.8%. This study concluded that there were significant effects of MGMP training and incentives on teacher performance in a high category. This showed that the overall performance of teachers in private MTS in Curup District was influenced by the level of MGMP training and the amount of incentives.
