Abstract

Abstrak: Darah merupakan salah satu komponen paling penting yang ada dalam tubuh, mengingat fungsinya  sebagai alat transportasi. Kekurangan darah di dalam tubuh dapat memacu sejumlah penyakit  dimulai dari anemia, hipotensi, serangan jantung, dan beberapa penyakit lainnya. Beberapa kasus lain seperti kecelakaan, luka bakar dan proses persalinan juga memerlukan tranfusi darah akibat tingginya kemungkinan pendarahan. Terdapat dua jenis penggolongan darah yang paling penting adalah penggolongan A-B-O dan Rhesus (faktor Rh). Transfusi darah dari golongan yang tidak kompatibel dapat menyebabkan reaksi transfusi imunologis yang berakibat anemia hemolisis, gagal ginjal, syok, dan kematian. Banyak diantara kita belum mengetahui jenis golongan darah yang kita miliki. Kasus ini menjadi sangat krusial ketika individu tersebut mengalami musibah, seperti kecelakaan yang mengakibatkan darah banyak keluar. Tindakan penanganan pasien menjadi terlambat, karena individu ini belum mengetahui jenis golongan darah yang ia miliki. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dengan siswa, Kepala Sekolah dan guru-guru Madrasah Aliyah NW Bagik Polak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa di sekolah ini belum mengetahui golongan darah yang ia miliki. Kejadian ini  menjadi dasar kami untuk melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakaat dalam hal ini siswa untuk mengecek golongan darah yang mereka miliki.Abstract:  Blood is one of the most important components in the body, given its function as a means of transportation. Blood deficiency in the body can spur some diseases starting from anemia, hypotension, heart attack, and some other diseases. Some other cases such as accidents, burns, and childbirth also require blood transfusions due to the high likelihood of bleeding. There are two most important types of blood type which are the A-B-O and Rhesus (RH) classification. Incompatible blood transfusions can cause immunological transfusion reactions that result in hemolysis anemia, renal failure, shock, and death. Many of us do not know the type of blood group we have. This case became very crucial when the individual suffered a calamity, such as accidents that caused many types of blood to come out. The patient's treatment was delayed, as the individual did not know what type of blood he had. Based on the results of the observation with the students, the principal, and teachers of Madrasah Aliyah NW Bagik Polak, it can be concluded that most students in this school do not know the blood type he has. This incident is the basis for our devotion to the community in this case students to check the blood group they have.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sampah menjadi permasalahan utama di Indonesia, bahkan termasuk di Kota Mataram. Masih tingginya produksi sampah setiap hari yang dihasilkan oleh rumah tangga dan kurangnya armada pengangkut sampah serta peran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah organik perlu ditingkatkan. Berdasarkan analisis situasi, permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu belum sepenuhnya masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pengelolaan sampah organik, sehingga pengelolaan sampah organik belum maksimal. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Membekali pengetahuan masyarakat umumnya penerapan prinsip 3R (Refuse, Reduse, Recycle); (2) Memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat mengenai bahaya dari sampah; (3) Meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatan sampah organik berbasis Zero Waste. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu berupa penyuluhan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan materi berupa (1) Pengenalan tentang pengelolaan sampah organik; (2) Pengenalan hasil pengelolaan sampah organik dengan 3R; (3) Pengenalan peralatan untuk pengolahan sampah dengan Prinsip 3R. Mitra pengabdian ini yaitu Kelurahan Pejanggik, Kecamatan Mataram, Kota Mataram. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti penyuluhan dan pendampingan sebanyak 25 Kepala Keluarga dengan evaluasi berupa pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat telah mendapat pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang pengelolaan sampah organik sejumlah 44% dengan prinsip 3R yang dapat mengatasi masalah limbah rumah tangga dan mengubah limbah tersebut menjadi produk bernilai ekonomis. Sehinga secara luas dapat mengatasi masalah sampah di Kelurahan Pejanggik, Kecamatan Mataram Kota Mataram.Abstract:  Garbage is the main problem in Indonesia, even including in Mataram City. The high daily waste production produced by households and the lack of waste transport fleets and the role of the community in organic waste management need to be improved. Based on the analysis of the situation, the problem faced by partners is not yet fully the community has knowledge and skills in organic waste management, so organic waste management has not been maximized. This service aims to (1) Equip the knowledge of the public generally the application of the principle of 3R (Refuse, Reduse, Recycle); (2) Provide knowledge to the public about the dangers of waste; (3) Improving people's skills in utilizing Zero Waste-based organic waste. The method used in this service is in the form of counseling and mentoring conducted by the community service team with materials in the form of (1) Introduction to organic waste management; (2) Introduction of organic waste management results with 3R; (3) Introduction of equipment for waste processing with Principle 3R. This service partner is Pejanggik Village, Mataram District, Mataram City. The number of participants who participated in counseling and mentoring as many as 25 Family Heads with evaluation in the form of pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the community has gained knowledge and insight about organic waste management amounting to 44% with the principle of 3R that can overcome the problem of household waste and turn the waste into economically valuable products. Sehinga can broadly solve the problem of garbage in Pejanggik Village, Mataram District, Mataram City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain optical properties (absorption spectrum) and electrical properties (photoconductivity) of organic dyes in DSSC performance. optical and electrical properties were tested by using UV-Visible Spectrophotometer and Elkahfi 1601 PC 100 / IV meter, respectively, while Keithley Type 2600A is used for the characterization of DSSC. This study is a great base to explore and investigate the development of DSSC solar cells using natural dyes (organic). Spectra optimal absorption and photoconductivity produced by natural dyes (organic). The results of this study indicate that the absorption spectrum of natural dyes (organic) in the range of 300-500 nm. electrical characteristics (I-V) of the increase in linear dye under illumination. I-V characteristics of DSSC from organically produced natural dyes to color the biggest-mangosteen obtained Voc of 565 mV; JSC = 1.52 A / m2; FF = 0.12; and η_ef is approximately 0.09%, respectively,. The conclusion of this study, natural dyes (organic) can be an attractive alternative as a dye.

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to characterize Ruthenium as a photosensitizer in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC). Samples are made in the structure of the working electrode pair Sandwich and the opponent electrode. Sample absorbancy test using UV-Visible LAMBDA 25 spectrophotometer and test current and voltage characterization (I-V) using Keithley 2602A. The TiO2 deposition method uses the drop and soaks method. The results of the study showed that the maximum absorbancy in the high dye ruthenium appeared at the two peaks at = 448 nm and = 580 nm. While I-V curve measurements showed great efficiency that resulted in ruthenium dye with concentrations of 0.1, 0.5, and 1 in a row were 0, 12%, 0.186%, and 0.26%. These results show that higher concentrations of ruthenium dye can increase the value of the resulting efficiency.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkarakterisasi Ruthenium sebagai fotosensitizer pada Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC). Sampel dibuat dalam struktur kerja pasangan elektroda Sandwich dan elektroda lawan. Uji absorbansi sampel menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Visible LAMBDA 25 dan uji karakterisasi arus dan tegangan (I-V) menggunakan Keithley 2602A. Metode pengendapan TiO2 menggunakan metode drop and soaks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa absorbansi maksimum pada zat warna rutenium tinggi muncul pada dua puncak yaitu = 448 nm dan = 580 nm. Sedangkan pengukuran kurva I-V menunjukkan efisiensi yang sangat baik yang menghasilkan pewarna rutenium dengan konsentrasi 0,1, 0,5, dan 1 berturut-turut adalah 0, 12%, 0,186%, dan 0,26%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi zat warna rutenium dapat meningkatkan nilai efisiensi yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

The purpose of this action research is to improve students' understanding of basic physics concepts by using the Problem Based Learning model on Newton's law of motion and its application with PhET simulation media. This research is classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were students of Science Education at the Global Nusantara Education Institute. Data collection techniques with observation and tests. Meanwhile, the data were analyzed using a combination method with a convergent parallel mixed method. Quantitative data analysis with descriptive analysis, data analysis used on qualitative data for data presentation, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the use of the Problem Based Learning model with PhET Simulation Media could improve students' understanding of basic physics concepts in Newton's law of motion and its application. The improvement in students' understanding of basic physics concepts is marked by an improvement in the average value of understanding basic physics concepts, namely the average value of students from 36.50 (0%) at the pre-action stage to 63.75 (55%) after the first cycle of action and again increasing after-action cycle 2 with an average value of 84.75 (90%). From these data, it can be seen that the use of the Problem Based Learning model with PhET Simulation Media can improve students' understanding of basic physics concepts.Keywords: Understanding Physics Concepts; Problem Based Learning; PhET Simulation DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpf.v10.n1.202204

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) describe the characteristics of the Physics module based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL); (2) knowing the feasibility of a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based physics module; (3) knowing the use of Physics modules based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) can empower students' knowledge and character values. This research method is R&D by referring to the 4-D model (four D model) proposed by Thiagarajan (1974). The 4-D model consists of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Modules are assessed based on the feasibility of the material, media, and language, as well as trials (limited and extensive) to students, and the stages of dissemination at the MGMP forum. Research data collection was using questionnaires and needs analysis interview guidelines, validation sheets, response questionnaires, character value questionnaires, character value observation sheets, and disseminate questionnaires. The results of the study were as follows: (1) produce a module based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). (2) the module is categorized as feasible based on (material expert, media expert, linguist, teacher, colleague) which shows an average value of 86.0> minimum value of eligibility 84.3. This result also supported by good responses from students and the results of dissemination conducted on the MGMP forum which categorizes the modules well. (3) the use of modules can empower students' character values ​​and knowledge. This is indicated by the results of the character values ​​and knowledge of students> 75% can reach more than KKM.

Abstract

Purple sweet potato is a very familiar plant for us, and the most common is white sweet potato, purple, yellow ororange. The advantages of colored purple sweet potatoes contain anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are a secondarymetabolite of flavonoids and polyphenols that can act as antioxidants. This concentration of anthocyanins is whatcauses some kind of purple potato to have a gradient of different shades of purple. Anthocyanins provide excellenthealth effects namely as antioxidants and anticancer due to electron deficiency in its chemical structure so that it isreactive to resist free radicals. Sweet potato leaves can also be utilized as food ingredients as well as potentiallymedicines for various diseases. Purple sweet Potato (Ipomoea batatas L) is one of the agricultural commodities inIndonesia that has a number of production is quite abundant and can be used as a traditional medicine. Theproblem formulation in this study is whether purple sweet potato leaf extract (Ipomoea batatas L.) contains thechemical compounds of alkaloids, falovonoids, tannins and saponins.The purpose of this research is to know thecontent of chemical compounds in purple sweet potato leaf (Ipomoea batatas L). This research is an experimentalstudy that is by observing and conducting experimental observations of the group in various treatment conditions.The sample used in this study is the purple sweet potato leaf (Ipomoea batatas L). The results of this study showedthat the purple sweet potato leaves were positively contained.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable disease with high morbidity and mortality. Lifestyle and knowledge are crucial factors in the handling and prevention of DM, but public awareness to obtain information is still low. This activity was carried out to increase public awareness in obtaining information and providing education related to DM. Preparation for the activity was carried out from 21 November 2022 and the core activities were in the form of outreach and health checks as a DM screening and were carried out on 24 November 2022. The main target for this activity were residents who had a family history of suffering from DM and risk factors such as obesity and hypertension. From this activity it was found that 90% had high blood pressure and 2 of them had fasting blood sugar levels above 300 mg/dL. In addition, it is known that public awareness to obtain information is still lacking.

Abstract

Perilaku Hidup bersih dan sehat merupakan salah satu aspek yang perlu diperhatikan oleh setiap orang dalam menjalankan kehidupan demi mendapatkan kehidupan yang sehat secara jasmani. Tidak sedikit masyarakat yang mengabaikan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat sehingga menyebabkan mereka menjadi sakit. Saat ini masyarakat sedang dihadapkan dengan pandemi covid-19 yang mengharuskan semua orang untuk menerapkan protokol kesehatan pada semua lini, salah satunya lingkungan pondok pesantren. Pondok pesantren Al-Islahul Atfal merupakan pondok pesantren yang di dalamnya ada siswa-siswi madrasah aliyah dan siswa-siswi ada yang langsung tinggal di dalam pondok tersebut. Penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa-siswi untuk menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat serta menerapkan protocol kesehatan pada masa pandemic covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan tersebut adalah presentasi live dengan siswa-siswi yang disertai dengan Tanya jawab dan pembagian masker gratis. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut adalah terdapat 30 orang siswa-siswi yang menjadi peserta dan mendapatkan masker gratis dari panitia. Siswa-siswi yang mendapatkan materi tersebut menjadi lebih paham pentingnya perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat serta protokol kesehatan pada masa pandemi covid-19.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a global problem that requires special treatment. One of the complications of DM is diabetic foot ulcers. The spread of diabetic wounds accompanied by ulcers is caused by the presence of S. aureus bacteria. This bacterium is known to be able to adapt to various classes of antibiotics, so it is necessary to explore new antibiotics from natural materials, one of which is sea urchins. This study was conducted to determine the antibacterial activity of ethyl acetate extract of sea urchin shells on the growth of S. aureus bacteria. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Medica Farma Husada Polytechnic in Mataram and the URB Laboratory of the NTB Provincial Hospital. The results of this study showed that there was the antibacterial activity of sea urchin shell extract with an inhibition zone diameter of 12 mm which was classified as strong, while Ciprofloxacin formed an inhibition zone with a diameter of 27 mm. From this study, it was concluded that sea urchin shell extract was able to inhibit the growth of S. aureus.
