Abstract

ABSTRACT Constructivism learning is generative learning, namely the act of creating something meaningful from what is learned. This learning is very suitable for the material of building space using concrete objects media because students can construct their own knowledge from what has been learned. Based on classroom action research conducted at SDN Karangmojo II, there was an increase in student learning outcomes in class V at the second meeting, from 54% of students completing KKM to 88% of students completing KKM. Therefore, it can be concluded that constructivism learning using concrete objects media can actually improve student learning outcomes V on geometry material of space. Keywords: Konstruktivisme Learning, Media benda konkret, Geometri bangun ruang ABSTRAK Pembelajaran konstruktivisme merupakan pembelajaran yang bersifat generatif, yaitu tindakan mencipta sesuatu makna dari apa yang dipelajari. Pembelajaran ini sangat sesuai pada materi bangun ruang dengan menggunakan media benda konkret karena siswa dapat mengkonstruk sendiri pengetahuannya dari apa yang telah dipelajari. Berdasarkan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan di SDN Karangmojo II didapatkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada pertemuan kedua yaitu dari 54% siswa tuntas KKM menjadi 88% siswa yang tuntas KKM. Oleh karena itu, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran konstruktivisme menggunakan media benda konkret ternyata dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa V pada materi geometri bangun ruang. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in the mathematical reasoning and communication skills of junior high school students by applying the auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a design pretest-posttest control group desaign. The population of this study were all students of class IX MTs Diponegoro in the 2021/2022 school year. The type of sample used in this study was random assignment. As for the research sample, two classes were selected, namely class IX A as the control class and class IX B as the experimental class. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and tests. The observation sheet was used to determine the suitability of learning in the classroom with Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model. The test instrument used in this study was a description question to measure students' mathematical reasoning and communication abilities. The data obtained were processed with two statistical data processing programs, namely SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the increase in the reasoning ability of the experimental class was in the medium classification and the control class was in the low classification. Meanwhile, for the improvement of mathematical communication skills, the experimental class is in the medium classification and the control class is in the low classification. So that the auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) learning model can improve students' mathematical reasoning and communication skills. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in students' problem-solving abilities after applying CORE (connecting, organizing, reflecting, extending) learning in mathematics learning and also whether the CORE model learning (connecting, organizing, reflecting, extending) is effective in terms of solving abilities. problems after the implementation of the CORE learning model. This research was conducted by the author on May 31, 2022 and June 8, 2022 at MTs bahrul 'UlumTambakberas Jombang. The research subjects were 25 students of class VII C on Statistics (Data Presentation). With the number of students 25 students. This research method uses a scoring system after the pretest and posttest. For data analysis, the author requires several stages of testing, namely validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, and Paired Sample t Test. This study uses learning tools including Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) with the CORE learning model, Student Worksheets (LKPD), and Learning Outcomes Tests according to Students' Problem-Solving Ability which have been validated by two validators. The total average score of the two validators is 3.21 with a match percentage of 80.21%. This means that the test of learning outcomes according to students' ability to solve problems is very valid and feasible to use. Skor rata-rata total dari dua validator ialah 3,21 dengan presentase kecocokan 80,21%. Artinya tes hasil belajar menurut kemampuan siswa memecahkan masalah sangat valid dan layak untuk dipergunakan.
