Abstract

Penguatan pendidikan ibadah di sekolah  menengah seringkali menghadapi  tantangan yang mempengaruhi efektivitas praktik ibadah siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran guru dan lingkungan dalam penguatan pendidikan ibadah, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta menilai dampak dari penguatan pendidikan ibadah terhadap karakter siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Observasi dilakukan untuk memahami praktik ibadah di lapangan, wawancara mendalam dilakukan dengan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, kepala sekolah, dan siswa untuk menggali pengalaman dan persepsi mereka, sementara studi dokumentasi digunakan untuk menganalisis kebijakan dan fasilitas ibadah yang tersedia. Teknik analisis data mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai organisator dan motivator dalam penguatan pendidikan ibadah. Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam menerapkan kebijakan evaluasi ibadah dan memberikan motivasi melalui kajian tentang keutamaan ibadah dan dampak meninggalkannya. Lingkungan sekolah berkontribusi melalui penyediaan fasilitas ibadah yang memadai dan dukungan kebijakan. Faktor pendukung termasuk adanya fasilitas ibadah yang baik dan keterlibatan guru, sementara faktor penghambat mencakup keterbatasan nilai ibadah dalam diri siswa dan waktu yang terbatas. Dampak dari penguatan pendidikan ibadah mencakup peningkatan akhlak, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan penghindaran perilaku negatif di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

Currently, in order to improve the quality of education, learning mathematics needs to undergo innovative changes in accordance with the times and technology. In addition, education must also build the values ​​and character of students through religious values. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The aim of the research is to describe Islamic values ​​and their integration into learning mathematics and science at MAN 2 Langkat in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research was conducted at MAN 2 Langkat, North Sumatra, with the research subjects being math and science teachers. Data was collected through observation, interviews, document studies, and literature. Data analysis was carried out by compiling, connecting, reducing, presenting, drawing conclusions, and verifying. The findings can be explained that Islamic values ​​in their integration into mathematics and science learning have been carried out well where they have been adapted to the curriculum and the school's vision and mission as outlined in the planning of relevant methods and media which are carried out from the beginning to the end of learning. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of learning that is integrated with Islamic values.

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka merupakan perpanjangan dari kurikulum sebelumnya yang menekankan pada peningkatan pendidikan karakter dan pengembangan keterampilan kreatif maupun inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran fikih menggunakan kurikulum merdeka, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dalam pembelajaran fikih berbasis kurikulum merdeka: 1) Perencanaannya yaitu sekolah mewajibkan guru fikih untuk mengikuti pelatihan dan guru fikih menyusun perangkat pembelajaran seperti: CP, TP, ATP, dan Modul Ajar. 2) Pelaksanaannya yaitu sekolah tidak menekan kepada guru fikih untuk diintervensi sehingga guru fikih bebas berkreasi, berinovasi secara mandiri. Guru fikih melaksanakan pembelajaran masih sering menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi tanya jawab dan penugasan. 3) Evaluasi pembelajaran guru fikih lebih sering menekankan pada penilaian sumatif dibandingkan penilaian formatif. 4) Faktor pendukungnya yaitu adanya pelatihan kurikulum merdeka, dukungan dari pihak sekolah, dan sekolah memfasilitasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu dalam mengaplikasikan pembelajaran diferensiasi di kelas belum maksimal, guru fikih mengajar di kelas belum merubah mindset, guru fikih belum maksimal memahami kemampuan belajar peserta didik yang berbeda-beda, serta peserta didik mudah jenuh dan bosan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Background: Religious guidance in prisoners can aid rehabilitation, especially in Muslim-majority nations like Indonesia. Purpose: However, these programs' objectives and effectiveness, especially in moral change and social reintegration, have rarely been evaluated. Method: This multisite qualitative case study uses in-depth interviews, document analysis, and field observations to analyze the goals and implementation of Islamic religious guidance for convicts in Labuhan Ruku, Tebing Tinggi, and Tanjung Balai prisons in North Sumatra. Result: The study found that Islamic religious guidance can help convicts repent, discipline, and self-aware and prepare for reintegration. Prisoners reported less violence and a more positive identity. Trained religious counselors, institutional support, and planned follow-up following release are crucial to this transformation's persistence. Religion-based rehabilitation without coordinated reintegration programs may be temporary due to a lack of external support after incarceration. These findings show that Islamic religious instruction can be used as a spiritual tool and a rehabilitation method when supported by cross-sectoral initiatives. Conclusion: Therefore, to institutionalize spiritual growth in Indonesia's holistic correctional reform, religious leaders, correctional authorities, and policymakers must collaborate.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an literacy is a significant challenge in Indonesia, where most students have low reading and comprehension skills. This phenomenon is exacerbated by changes in learning culture, such as children's preference for gadgets and digital entertainment, which reduces the time available for reading the Al-Qur'an. This study aims to analyze the contribution of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah as a driver of Quran literacy in Padangsidimpuan City, as well as to explore learning strategies, supporting factors, and obstacles to its implementation. The method used is multisite qualitative, with data collection through participatory observation, interviews, and documentation in two madrasas. The results show that the Qur'an literacy program at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah, including tahsin, tahfiz, and tilawah competitions, is effective in improving reading and comprehension skills, as well as fostering a love for and internalization of the values of the Qur'an. The success of the program depends on teacher competence, parental involvement, and a conducive learning environment. The implications of this study confirm the strategic role of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah as a non-formal institution that strengthens Al-Qur'an literacy, shapes religious character, and prepares a generation of Muslims with noble character and Qur'anic competence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the term physical education in the book of Sahih al-Bukhari, analyze the material of physical education in the book of Sahih al-Bukhari, and analyze the relevance of physical education in the book of Sahih al-Bukhari to contemporary Islamic education. This research method is a library research type. The results of the study show that there are a number of hadiths that explicitly or implicitly reflect the attention of the Prophet Muhammad. on physical education, namely hadith numbers 5649, 2684, 3122, 403, 2655, 2658, 6791, 5055, 3925, 1699, 6781 and 2920. Physical education by maintaining diet is found in hadith numbers 4959, 631, 5043, 5153 and 3893. Physical education with natural medicine is found in hadith numbers 5252, 854, 5807 and 1804. The material on sports education in the book of Sahih al-Bukhari, includes various types of relevant physical activities, such as wrestling, archery, horse riding, throwing. The material on physical education through natural medicine also contains several health practices taught by the Prophet Muhammad, such as the recommendation to drink honey, qailulah. The relevance of physical education in the book of Sahih al-Bukhari to contemporary Islamic education shows that the values ​​and practices of physical education in the hadiths of Sahih al-Bukhari are still very applicable today.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to examine the creativity of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in improving students' Al-Qur'an literacy skills at SD Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang. The main focus of this study is to uncover the forms of creativity implemented by teachers in the Al-Qur'an literacy learning process, the application and implications of the creativity used, and its impact on enhancing students' Al-Qur'an literacy skills. The background of this research stems from the reality that many elementary school students still struggle to read and write the Al-Qur'an correctly, coupled with a lack of innovation in the learning process carried out by PAI teachers.This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, the school principal, and students, as well as documentation of Al-Qur'an literacy learning activities. The data were analyzed using a data reduction, data display, and conclusion-drawing approach to obtain a comprehensive overview of teacher creativity in Al-Qur'an literacy learning. The research findings indicate that PAI teachers at SD Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang have developed various creative methods in Qur'an literacy instruction, such as utilizing audio-visual media, implementing educational games based on hijaiyah letters, providing adaptive learning differentiation, and offering simple rewards as motivation.. The implementation of these creative methods—ranging from word-building, singing, group formation, to giving prizes as motivation—has a significant impact on increasing students' interest in learning, active engagement in the learning process, and mastery of the competence to read the Al-Qur'an with tartil and write Arabic letters correctly. Furthermore, teacher creativity not only affects students' cognitive aspects but also strengthens their affective and spiritual dimensions. These results indicate that teacher creativity is a key element in the success of Islamic religious education at the basic level. Therefore, improving the capacity and training of teachers in pedagogical creativity becomes an important input for educational institutions to address the challenge of low Al-Qur'an literacy among elementary school students.

Abstract

This study describe and analyze 3 research focuses. First, to describe the teacher creativity development program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Medan. Second, to describe the implementation of the development of teacher creativity at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Medan. Third, to describe the results achieved in the development of teacher creativity at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Medan. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, namely to describe, describe and reveal the results of research regarding the development of teacher creativity. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The interactive model data analysis technique from Miles and Hubermen uses three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
