Abstract

Tujuan diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mendampingi santriwati dalam memahami kepenulisan cerpen yang ada di Pondok Putri Pesantren Tebuireng Jombang. Kali ini merupakan salah satu kewajiban pendidik dalam rangka menyelesaikan permasalahan sosial yang dalam kurun waktu terakhir ini terjadi di masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi tentang kepenulisan opini, cerpen, dan resensi. Selain itu, peserta juga diberikan kesempatan untuk berdiskusi dengan para pemateri dan peserta yang lain.

Abstract

In the digital era, a teacher or lecturer will not find it difficult to find literature through the internet or the digital world. A teacher or lecturer who does not read many books or literature, they lack ideas or ideas that are poured into writing scientific papers so that they consider writing scientific papers difficult. The purpose of the Community Service activity is to provide knowledge and skills for teachers of SMAN in Jombang Regency which includes: (1) techniques for writing scientific papers published in Sinta National Journals 1-5 and (2) techniques for writing scientific papers published in International Journals. Changes in government policy make teachers no longer able to interest in making journal articles, from this activity intern retrain the enthusiasm of teachers in writing scientific articles with the help of technology in the modern era. The target of community service is MGMP Indonesian language teachers in the Jombang area. The priority program that has been agreed by the PKM Team with MGMP is to increase the knowledge and skills of writing scientific papers of Indonesian language teachers in Jombang Regency so that their articles can be published in national and international journals. The methods used in the PKM are discussions and assignments. The PKM results published the work of teachers who had been given training in the SINTA 5 journal, namely the DISASTRI UNHASY journal.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikanpengetahuan dan keterampilan para guru bahasa Indonesia di lingkungan pendidikan PondokPesantren Tebuireng Jombang yang mencakup: (1) teknik penulisan artkel ilmiah, (2) teknikpenulisan artikel nonilmiah, (3) praktek penulisan artikel ilmiah dan nonilmiah berbasiscomputer. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai kegiatan ini adalah agar para guru bahasaIndonesia di lingkungan pendidikan Pondok Pesantren Tebuireng Jombang tersebut dapat : (1)menulis artkel ilmiah, (2) menulis artikel nonimiah, (3) menulis artikel ilmiah dan nonilmiahberbasis computer dengan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia baku. Metode yang digunakanadalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab, pemberian tugas, dan praktek menulis artikel ilmiah dandengan menggunakan komputer. Kegiatan PKM ini telah dilaksanakan dengan hasil yangsangat baik dan lancar. Pelaksanaan PKM ini dilaksanakan di kampus UNHASY diikuti oleh26 orang. Peserta merasa sangat senang dengan kegiatan ini karena materinya sangat menariktentang teknik penulisan artikel ilmiah yang siap dimuat dalam jurnal nasional maupuninternasional.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service activity is to provide knowledge and skills for Jombang teachers which include: (1) techniques for writing scientific articles published in indexed national journals, (2) techniques for writing scientific articles published in indexed international journals, and (3) practice of writing computer-based scientific articles. The specific target to be achieved by this activity is that the teachers in Mojoagung sub-district, Jombang Regency are able to: (1) techniques for writing scientific articles published in indexed national journals, (2) techniques for writing scientific articles published in indexed international journals, and (3) practice writing computer-based scientific articles. The methods used are lectures, questions and answers, assignments, and practice writing scientific articles using a computer. This PKM activity has been carried out with very good and smooth results. The implementation of this PKM was carried out at SMAN Mojoagung, Jombnag, attended by 78 people. Participants felt very happy with this activity because the material was very interesting about the technique of writing scientific articles that are ready to be published in national and international journals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan novel berbasis digital dan tingkat literasi siswa SMKN 2 Probolinggo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-XI jurusan TKR dan Kelas XII jurusan TKJ serta jawaban dari responden terkait perspektif siswa dalam pemanfaatan novel digital sebagai tolok ukur literasi siswa SMKN 2 Probolinggo. Data penelitian ini berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat berdasarkan sumber data penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni survei (kuesioner) berupa angket melalui googleform dan teknik simak serta catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Miles dan Huberman, meliputi reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi siswa SMKN 2 Probolinggo masih rendah dan platform novel berbasis digital dinilai belum efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi siswa di sekolah tersebut. Akan tetapi, sebagian siswa telah memanfaatkan platform novel berbasis digital, meliputi Wattpad, Fizzo Novel, Ipusnas, dan lain sebagainya. Pemilihan novel berbasis digital tersebut berdasarkan pada keberagaman jenis genre buku atau cerita yang disajikan dalam platform tersebut. Akan tetapi, keragaman novel berbasis digital yang digunakan oleh siswa berbanding terbalik dengan tingkat literasi siswa SMKN 2 Probolinggo.

Abstract

Article writing is an important skill for teachers in professional development. However, junior high school Indonesian teachers in Surabaya face many obstacles in writing articles, among the obstacles are the teachers do not know the material that can be used as articles and the teachers do not know about the latest technology that can be utilized in writing articles. This mentoring activity aims to provide services for junior high school Indonesian language teachers in Surabaya in writing articles by utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. This activity was attended by 30 junior high school Indonesian language teachers in Surabaya, both private and public schools. The method of this mentoring activity consists of presentations, discussions, and practices in providing understanding and practical skills to junior high school Indonesian teachers in Surabaya. The results of the mentoring activities in Surabaya showed that 77.8% of the mentoring teachers did not know about articles and 66.7% of the mentoring teachers were not familiar with AI applications for article writing. In addition, the feedback results of the mentoring participants showed that the material was very suitable for the needs of the mentoring participants and the methods used during the mentoring were very effective.

Abstract

Literature is an inseparable part of the surrounding reality, presented in the form of fiction. Women are consistently included as objects that provide a unique symbol in conveying its implied messages. Similarly, within the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) environment, women possess their own distinct culture that conforms to the habits that bind them. This portrayal is depicted in the literary work, the novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis. The pesantren woman is described concerning her tendencies in pesantren life and her role as the successor in the leadership relay within it. This research aims to describe (a) the portrayal of the pesantren woman's culture in the novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis, and (b) the implication of the pesantren woman's leadership on the development of the pesantren in the novel Hati Suhita by Ning Khilma Anis. The approach in this study uses a qualitative methodology. The data source for this research is the novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis. The data in this study consist of findings relevant to the problem focus within the novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis. The data collection technique used is literature study The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained are: The pesantren woman described in the novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis is portrayed with the attitudes of obedience and humility as the defining characteristics of a santri (pesantren student). The novel Hati Suhita lays out the implication of her leadership, which brings advancement and renewal to her in-laws' pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms and causes of discrimination against women, and the struggles of female characters to fight discrimination in Hamka's novel Terusir. The following are the results of this study. First, the forms of discrimination against female characters include the individual and public domains. Discrimination in the individual domain includes marginalization of women's productivity and control over women's sexuality. Discrimination in the public domain includes limitations on women's movement and access to economic resources. Marginalization of women's productivity can be seen from the restrictions on women's movement (the marginalization of women by the power of men), Restricted women's movement is marked by prohibitions and rules of behavior determined by men, while limited economic resources include restrictions on women's work that is highly dependent on men in meeting their basic needs. Second, the factors causing discrimination include patriarchal culture, differences in social status, and customs in the form of a matrilineal system that often places women in marginalized positions. Third, the struggle undertaken by female characters in the novel to face discrimination includes protesting to obtain their rights as women, finding a new life partner who can provide welfare guarantees, and choosing to live independently to continue their lives.

Abstract

AbstractTeaching materials are an important component to influence the motivation and interest of BIPA learners. This study aims to describe the use of teaching materials based on concept maps containing the legend of Surabaya based on the results of problem analysis and needs analysis. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature studies, observations, and interviews with teachers, students, and the head of BIPA, Surabaya State University. The data analysis technique used the Miles & Huberman model. The results of the study showed that teachers agreed to the use of teaching materials based on concept maps. Concept maps are recognized as an effective graphic tool in language learning. Utilization of concept maps using Canva. BIPA students responded positively to the use of concept maps using Canva media. The legend of Surabaya was chosen as the content of teaching materials because the history of Surabaya is important to be used as a topic for developing teaching materials as a means of promoting the city of Surabaya and Surabaya State University itself. The use of teaching materials based on concept maps with the content of the Surabaya legend will be applied to level 3 reading classes at Surabaya State University.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal dan nonformal memiliki peran strategis dalam mencetak generasi bangsa yang berkarakter. Namun, pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di lingkungan pondok pesantren seringkali menghadapi kendala karena sebagian guru bukan lulusan sarjana pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, sehingga kurang menguasai kaidah kebahasaan dan strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam penguasaan Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia, penulisan kalimat baku berbasis digital, serta pengajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia yang kreatif dan inovatif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, praktik, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kemampuan menulis dan mengajar berbasis teknologi. Antusiasme peserta yang tinggi menunjukkan keberhasilan program, yang diharapkan berkelanjutan dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di pondok pesantren.
