Abstract

Emosi negatif yang dialami karyawan di tempat kerja merupakan kondisi wajar dan bisa dialami oleh siapa saja. Adapun faktor yang memengaruhinya antara lain disebabkan oleh konflik interpersonal, beban kerja yang lebih, keseimbangan kehidupan kerja-pribadi, budaya organisasi dan dukungan sosial. Dampak dari emosi negatif yang tidak mampu dikelola antara lain stress kerja, produktivitas dan kinerja yang menurun bahkan adanya keinginan untuk keluar dari organisasi. Kondisi emosi akan semakin parah apabila karyawan tidak memiliki kemampuan dalam mengelola emosi yang dirasakan. Tujuan dari program psikoedukasi ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dalam bentuk yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami terkait dengan pengelolaan emosi di tempat kerja. Metode psikoedukasi yang dilakukan meliputi need assessment dan pemasangan infografis dalam bentuk stand banner. Psikoedukasi ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2023 di PT Telkom Witel. Hasil wawancara dan survey yang dilakukan sebelum dan setelah pemberian psikoedukasi berupa infografis menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan psikoedukasi ini memberikan informasi baru dan dapat menurunkan stress yang dialami selama bekerja. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan para karyawan mengenai cara mengelola emosi yang dirasakan di tempat kerja. Kegiatan pengabdian ini penting untuk dilakukan, sebagai langkah awal untuk mengatasi permasalahan terkai emosi di tempat kerja.

Abstract

The development of business law is currently growing very rapidly. In addition, the development of advanced technology and law must follow the times. In Indonesia, online transactions (e-commerce) have begun to develop. Legal protection for consumers has been regulated in Law Number 8 of 1999 and electronic information and transactions are regulated in Law Number 1 of 2024. In relation to this, there are two problems, the first is whether Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning ITE have provided protection for consumers in conducting online transactions (e-commerce). Second, How is the legal protection for consumers in online transactions (e-commerce). The methodology used in this study uses a normative approach which is used as material in written regulations so that this study is very closely related to literature studies that require secondary data. The conclusion of the research conducted is that Law No. 8 of 1999 and Law No. 1 of 2024 can protect consumers because the provisions contained in this law have accommodated consumer rights in this transaction. The government should revise Law No. 8 of 1999 so that it can protect not only conventional transactions but also e-commerce transactions and not only cover the territory of Indonesia but also include international transactions regarding the path that consumers can take if a dispute occurs to obtain legal remedies non-litigation through YLKI and BPSK.

Abstract

The railway system in Indonesia is currently developing rapidly, as well as railway technology in Indonesia, especially DKI Jakarta, one of which is the Jakarta LRT. CCD (Current Collector Device) which is a device for taking the power supply or distributing electricity from a third rail source. The way the CCD (Current Collector Device) works is that it attaches to the third rail through a shoe that rubs directly against the third rail. Continuous friction causes wear and tear on these components. The current minimum thickness standard for CCD (Current Collector Device) is 20 millimeters. While the thickness of the new condition is 28 millimeters. During the monthly maintenance, it was found that the wear rate was an average of 0.1 millimeters – 0.2 millimeters. This is less significant in carrying out monthly maintenance on the CCD (Current Collector Device). The aim of this research is to analyze the wear rate of the CCD (Current Collector Device) for 1 year and determine the maintenance interval time based on the wear rate.

Abstract

This research uses a descriptive method by collecting data through field surveys, interviews and image analysis. The research results show that the Makansar irrigation network in Kema Satu Village consists of one main weir and three supply channels. The Makansar Satu Dam (BM I) irrigation channel is 3,129.53 ms long with a service area of 11.42 hectares. The Water Suplesi Satu (AS I) canal has a length of 1,885.36 ms and a service area of 10.22 hectares, the Water Suplesi Two irrigation canal (AS II) has a length of 544.26 and a service area of 1.77 hectares, the Water Suplesi Three irrigation canal ( AS III) has a length of 1,878.8 and a service area of 6.88 hectares. There are around 33 buildings along the irrigation canal, including 1 building, 24 tapping buildings, 7 complementary buildings, 1 tertiary box, and 1 spillway building. The condition of the network and buildings still requires a lot of technical treatment and a decline in the quality of services at the old weir, the growth of wild plants on the irrigation embankment, the presence of sedimentation and complementary buildings that are not utilized properly as water conservation efforts. The Makasar irrigation area (DI) has a P3A institution. The results of measuring the water discharge in the BM I Channel, the inflow was 0.23 m3/second and the outflow was 0.09 m3/second and the water loss was 0.14 m3/second. Measurements in the Channel (AS I) inflow were 0.07 m3/second and outflow 0.07 m3/second. Channel measurements (AS III) showed an inflow value of 0.03 m3/second and an outflow of 0.02 m3/second and water loss of 0.01 m3/second.

Abstract

KSOP has considerable authority in carrying out the function of shipping safety and security including supervising ship pilotage and towing activities in port waters and shipping lanes as stated in Article 207 & 208 paragraph 1, Law 17 of 2008. In carrying out its duties, namely providing instructions and information needed by the Captain or ship leader and assisting in the movement of the ship from the outer threshold/anchorage area to move in/out of Belawan Port, the Pilot Officer is guided by the laws and regulations governing shipping and KSOP as a pilotage supervisor. How is the implementation of the responsibilities and authorities of the Pilot Officer and KSOP in ensuring shipping safety and security at Belawan Port? What are the sanctions given by the Main KSOP Belawan to Pilot Officers who are negligent in carrying out their duties resulting in ship accidents? The research method used in this study is empirical legal research. The research was conducted by examining primary and secondary data in the form of interviews, direct observations in the field, library materials, primary legal materials, secondary and tertiary legal materials. Based on all the data obtained, it is then processed systematically and qualitatively to produce descriptive analytical writing. In this case, the researcher conducted an empirical legal study to see the responsibility and authority of the Pilot Officer and KSOP in ensuring the safety and security of shipping at Belawan Port which is implemented through the Shipping Law & Derivative Regulations governing Ship Pilotage and Delay, where in its implementation the sanctions given by the Pilotage Supervisor (KSOP) do they have a deterrent effect on the professionalism of the Pilot Officer in carrying out their duties.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide solutions by implementing Science through the Science and Technology program for the community at the STIES Research and Community Service Center to carry out advocacy and legal consultation to the community in Batee Shok Juroeng Pria Laot Village, Sukakarya District, Sabang City in order to minimize conflict and grant authority. local communities in the protection and management of the environment, especially the management of resources in coastal areas. The method used in IbM activities with a social approach, implementing Legal Counseling and Program Strategies for Coastal Mangrove Forest Management Community Groups, activities carried out by Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and implementation involving students as part of learning in the ways and processes of resolving environmental disputes related to with a Subject in Environmental Law and Management Economics. The conclusions of the service activities are; 1) The establishment of environmental law awareness for coastal communities to maintain and protect coastal resources in residential areas, 2) Form and reorganize the Coastal Management Community Group, and 3) Open access for people outside Batee Shok Village to utilize supporting facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

The unclear legal arrangements in Chapter XI of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), particularly Article 89 to Article 94, have created legal uncertainty for the KPK in carrying out the functions of investigation and prosecution of koneksitas cases. This has resulted in weak coordination between the KPK and military institutions, which has an impact on suboptimal case handling and potential violations of the principle of justice. This research uses normative legal methods with regulatory, conceptual, and case study approaches. The results showed that Article 89 of KUHAP gives priority to the General Court in processing koneksitas cases, but does not explicitly regulate the KPK's authority. This lack of clarity has made it difficult for the KPK to form a joint team with the Military Oditur as stipulated in Article 89 paragraph (2) of KUHAP. This lack of legal certainty is a major obstacle in the effort to enforce a just and effective law.

Abstract

Recent advancements in stem cell biology, coupled with developments in space exploration, have opened new avenues for regenerative medicine. Microgravity environments in space induce significant physiological changes in the human body, such as muscle atrophy, decreased bone density, and immune system impairments, mimicking accelerated aging and chronic disease progression. These conditions offer a unique opportunity to study stem cell behavior, proliferation, and differentiation, which occur at a faster pace in space compared to Earth. The three-dimensional (3D) microgravity environment provides a more accurate representation of the human body’s natural state than traditional two-dimensional culture systems, fostering enhanced stem cell development. Among the various stem cells studied in space, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have shown promise for therapeutic applications, including the treatment of stroke, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases. Research aboard the International Space Station (ISS) has demonstrated that MSCs maintain their properties, proliferate, and differentiate under microgravity conditions, offering potential for future therapies. Additionally, MSCs exhibit resistance to space radiation, protecting astronauts from its harmful effects by promoting tissue repair and releasing regenerative factors. This radiation resistance, coupled with cryopreservation techniques, enables MSCs to be used in long-duration space missions. The ongoing research on MSCs in space not only supports astronaut health but also holds the potential to revolutionize regenerative medicine on Earth. By understanding how microgravity influences stem cell behavior, scientists are uncovering critical insights into tissue repair and cell function, paving the way for innovative treatments for aging-related diseases and other medical conditions. These findings highlight the broader implications of space-based stem cell research for advancing human health both in space and on Earth.

Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui integrasi agama dan sains dalam sudut pandang Nidhal Gousscum. Metode penelitian yang penulis lakukan ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research (studi pustaka). Sumber data berasal dari buku dan jurnal ilmiah yang membahas tentang integrasi agama dan sains dalam sudut pandang Nidhal Gousscum. Berdasarkan hasil kesimpulan bahwa Nidhal Guessoum merupakan seorang astrofisikawan Muslim yang memiliki pemikiran progresif dalam mengintegrasikan agama dan sains. Ia menekankan bahwa Islam dan sains modern dapat berjalan secara harmonis tanpa perlu saling menegasikan. Pemikirannya didasarkan pada prinsip rasionalisme, empirisme, serta penafsiran kontekstual terhadap ajaran agama. Guessoum menolak pseudo-sains dan klaim “Sains Islam” yang tidak berbasis bukti ilmiah, serta mengusulkan metode integrasi berbasis pendekatan ilmiah yang rasional dan kontekstual. Konsep integrasi agama dan sains yang dikemukakannya bertumpu pada penerimaan metode ilmiah, reinterpretasi teks keagamaan, dan penguatan pendidikan sains bagi umat Muslim. Guessoum juga menekankan pentingnya dialog antara ilmuwan dan ulama untuk mengurangi kesalahpahaman antara dua bidang ini. Implikasinya, umat Islam didorong untuk lebih aktif dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, serta menghindari klaim ilmiah yang tidak memiliki dasar empiris. Pendekatan filosofis dan metodologi yang digunakan oleh Guessoum berfokus pada interdisiplineritas, hermeneutika modern, serta landasan berbasis bukti. Dengan demikian, konsep integrasi yang ia tawarkan menjadi solusi bagi umat Islam dalam memahami ilmu pengetahuan secara lebih progresif, tanpa harus kehilangan identitas keagamaannya.

Abstract

Beberapa terakhir ini sering kali terjadi kecelakaan perkeretaapian salah satu faktornya pada sistem persinyalan. Sistem persinyalan merupakan faktor terpenting dalam pengoperasian pelayanan perjalanan kereta. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) melakukan peningkatan safety salah satunya terkait peningkatan sistem persinyalan dari sistem persinyalan mekanik menjadi elektrik, saat ini perencanaan tersebut dilakukan pada Stasiun Lahat Divisi Regional III Palembang. Pada penelitian ini membahas perancangan interlocking pada Stasiun Lahat dengan metode kualitatif dengan tingkat eksplanasi berjenis deskiptif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat perancangan tahapan interlocking dan membandingkan sistem interlocking eksisting dan rencana. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh langsung melalui observasi layout di PT kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) dan wawancara dengan narasumber yang melakukan survei langsung. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan route table interlocking untuk mengetahui pergerakkan kereta yang dapat dibentuk di Stasiun Lahat baik kereta penumpang ataupun kereta barang dan baik kereta melintas ataupun kereta langsiran serta mengetahui conflict route untuk mengetahui rute perjalanan kereta yang menghalangi pergerakkan kereta.
