Abstract

This study analyzes the role of the National Disability Commission in promoting business inclusivity for persons with disabilities in Indonesia. Based on Law No. 8 of 2016, the National Disability Commission serves to ensure the fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities, particularly access to employment and entrepreneurship. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study found three main roles of the National Disability Commission: policy advocacy, cross-sector collaboration, and empowerment through training and public campaigns. Key challenges include weak coordination, limited authority, and social stigma. The National Disability Commission functions as a moral parliament that strengthens the bargaining position of persons with disabilities in the world of work and has the potential to be a catalyst for transformation towards an inclusive and equitable employment ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze community participation in the planning and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Pelindo IV) Makassar. The research is grounded in Indonesia’s mandatory CSR regulatory framework as stipulated in Law No. 40 of 2007, Government Regulation No. 47 of 2012, and the latest SOE regulations emphasizing sustainability and community empowerment. Although these regulations are legally binding, various studies highlight that the success of CSR implementation largely depends on community involvement from the planning to the implementation stages. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, conducted in the area surrounding Makassar Port, particularly Kaluku Boddoa Subdistrict. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model combined with Arnstein’s Ladder of Participation and Pretty’s Typology of Participation. The findings reveal that community participation in planning remains at the tokenism level, limited to surveys and socialization, while in implementation it has developed towards functional and even interactive participation through MSME empowerment and social assistance programs. The main barriers include top-down communication and limited time availability, while the driving factors are program relevance to local needs and intensive mentoring. These findings underscore the need to shift from symbolic to substantive participation, so that CSR is not merely a legal obligation but also a sustainable instrument of community empowerment.

Abstract

Fenomena perilaku koruptif di Indonesia tidak hanya terjadi pada tingkat struktural, tetapi juga mulai tampak dalam bentuk perilaku kecil di lingkungan pendidikan, seperti kebiasaan mencontek, manipulasi data, dan ketidaktjujuran akademik. Kondisi ini menunjukkan lemahnya internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter di kalangan pelajar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya nilai-nilai karakter sebagai upaya pencegahan perilaku korupsi sejak dini. Mitra kegiatan adalah SMA Telkom Makassar, yang diidentifikasi menghadapi kendala dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter antikorupsi secara sistematis. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tiga tahap: (1) persiapan berupa penyusunan modul dan koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah. (2) pelaksanaan sosialisasi interaktif, studi kasus, dan pembentukan Duta Karakter Antikorupsi, serta (3) evaluasi melalui pre-test, post-test, dan wawancara partisipatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan integritas, disertai terbentuknya komunitas duta karakter yang aktif dalam kampanye antikorupsi di sekolah. Selain itu, guru memperoleh modul pembalajaran karakter yang dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam kegiatan intrakulikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat budaya integritas di lingkungan pendidikan serta menjadi model edukatif-partisipatif dalam membangun generasi muda berkarakter dan berintegritas.

Abstract

Sebelum mengadopsi teknologi canggih, PT Indomarco Prismatama, induk dari jaringan ritel Indomaret, masih menggunakan metode manual dalam proses pendataan. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi sektor ritel ini adalah pengelolaan aspek operasional, terutama manajemen inventori, yang menjadi faktor krusial bagi keberhasilan operasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara langsung. Narasumber penelitian meliputi Bapak Ahmad Puja Akbar, Kepala Toko Indomaret Mapala Raya, Jln. Pendidikan, dan Bapak Dirga, salah satu staf toko tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi barcode memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap efisiensi dan akurasi manajemen inventori di Indomaret Mapala Raya. Barcode yang digunakan adalah kode batang berupa garis vertikal hitam dan putih yang dapat dipindai. Teknologi ini terbukti membantu mempercepat proses input data produk dan pengelolaan inventori, sekaligus mendukung pergudangan dalam memantau jumlah stok tersisa dan yang telah terjual. Dengan demikian, kantor pusat dapat mengirimkan stok yang sesuai kebutuhan toko. Implementasi teknologi barcode di toko ritel seperti Indomaret Mapala Raya secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan akurasi pengelolaan inventori. Abstract

The Influence of Online Customer Reviews and Content Marketing on  Scarlett Whitening's Purchase Decisions on Tiktok Users in Makassar City. This study aims to find out how the Influence of Online Customer Reviews  and Content Marketing on Purchase Decisions both Simultaneously and Partially where Scarlett Users and Tiktok Marketplace are the object of research. This research uses Quantitative research type. The data collection technique used is through primary data (questionnaires and observations). The sampling technique uses Purposive Sampling technique with data collection using questionnaires. The data obtained were processed using SPSS 22 which consisted of multiple regression analysis which was first tested using validity tests, reliability tests, and normality tests. The results showed that the Online Customer Review variable had a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a T count of 6,658 > T   table  1.984 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, Content Marketing had a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a calculated T value of 8,252 > T table  1.984 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and there is a simultaneous influence of online customer review and content marketing on the  purchase decision of Scarlett Whitening on TikTok users in Makassar City with acalculated F value of  42,573 > 3.09 Ftable. The value of the Coefficient of Determination (Adjusted R2) obtained is 0.570, this means that purchasing decisions are  influenced by online customer reviews and content marketing as  much as 57%, while the rest is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Indonesian business sector has reshaped operational efficiency while raising concerns regarding ethics and personal data protection. Grounded in theories of Responsible AI, algorithmic accountability, and data governance, this study aims to examine ethical and legal challenges arising from AI deployment, evaluate the adequacy of Indonesia’s regulatory framework, and propose a governance model suitable for business contexts. This research employs a normative juridical method supported by statute, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Data were analyzed qualitatively through interpretation and synthesis of legal norms, academic studies, and international frameworks such as the EU AI Act, OECD AI Principles, and ASEAN AI Governance Guidelines. The findings show that although AI enhances decision-making and automation in businesses, Indonesia lacks specific regulations on algorithmic transparency, risk-based AI classification, and corporate accountability. Existing laws, including the Personal Data Protection Law and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, have not fully addressed these challenges. The novelty of this research lies in offering an integrated AI governance framework that combines ethical principles, data-protection standards, and corporate compliance to guide responsible AI implementation in Indonesian businesses. Abstract

The increasing phenomenon of digital wallet use today indicates that people in this case have accepted digital payment applications to support daily transaction activities. This study aims to find out how the perception of benefits and convenience in the interest in using E-Money in Shopeepay users in Wajo Regency is perceived. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. This research was conducted on Shopeepay users in Wajo Regency. Data collection procedures with observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is the data collection technique used, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. From the results of the study, it was found that the perception of benefits and convenience makes users continue to be interested in using shopeepay e-money, especially in Wajo district. Shopeepay is an electronic money service that functions as a payment method and to store change funds offered by one of the largest marketplaces in Indonesia, namely Shopee. The perception of benefits is something that is always paid attention to by the public, with very helpful benefits, of course, people are interested in using products. The perception of ease of use is a consideration for the public in using electronic money services. The novelty of this research is that there is a novelty in the technological aspect, the aspect of consumer behavior and the economic aspect in the region. Abstract

This study is grounded in consumer protection theory and the concept of asymmetric information in digital transactions, which explain the imbalance of information and bargaining power between business actors and consumers in electronic commerce. The research aims to analyze consumer protection in live shopping transactions of thrift products on TikTok, identify potential risks and violations of consumer rights, and examine business actors’ legal responsibility and dispute resolution mechanisms under Indonesian law. This study employs a normative juridical approach through library research and document analysis of primary legal materials, including the Consumer Protection Law, the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, and regulations on electronic commerce, supported by relevant scholarly literature. Data were analyzed using qualitative normative analysis by interpreting legal provisions and relating them to the characteristics of live shopping practices. The results show that although the legal framework is comprehensive, the real-time and persuasive nature of live shopping increases the risk of information asymmetry, product misrepresentation, unilateral no-refund policies, and evidentiary difficulties. The novelty of this research lies in its specific focus on live shopping thrift transactions as a digital trade model that heightens consumer vulnerability.

Abstract

In planning and implementing marketing management, the marketing environment and marketing management process need to be considered. This Community Service aims to provide strengthening of UNM Business Administration students' understanding of the marketing management process at PT. Victoria Care Indonesia Tbk. This community service activity focuses on the material of the marketing management process. The method of delivering information used is by providing reinforcement of students' understanding through theory and practice/direct visits to the company. From the results of the observations made, the results of the most optimal marketing management process at PT. Victoria Care Indonesia Tbk in Bali are designing marketing strategies. The results of this community service activity are that they can improve the skills that will be needed when entering the workforce, can understand the marketing management process in a company to be able to increase sales of its products. can develop new ideas and innovations and can have a competitive advantage to realize the character of students who have an entrepreneurial spirit for the interests and goals of the Business Administration study program, Faculty of Social Sciences, UNM.

Abstract

The success of a business really depends on how it is managed, the innovations and modifications made so that the products or services offered can continue to compete and become the choice of customers and one of these can be realized by using Content Marketing. This Community Service aims to provide knowledge and understanding to Business Administration Study Program students regarding Content Marketing for Beginners in developing businesses. This service activity focuses on Content Marketing Socialization material for Beginners in Developing Businesses for Business Administration Students, especially Class of 2023 students, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University. From the results of this evaluation, it can be seen that the majority of socialization participants strongly agree with the evaluation results of socialization activities and can feel the benefits very well. Understanding the optimal use of Content Marketing for Beginners in Developing a Business will provide benefits for students.
