Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the In House Training (IHT) program in improving the quality of deep learning-based instruction at SMA Muhammadiyah Galela. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, involving 23 teachers from various subject areas as participants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive model of data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that all participants successfully designed teaching modules aligned with the 2025 learning outcomes and the Merdeka Curriculum by integrating deep learning principles with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The training process, which included theoretical sessions, practical activities, and evaluation through module presentations, was effective in enhancing teachers’ competence, creativity, and collaboration. This study concludes that IHT is an adaptive and sustainable strategy to strengthen teacher professionalism and improve deep learning practices in secondary schools..

Abstract

This study explores the role of the Teacher Subject Forum (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran/MGMP) in enhancing teachers’ creativity in designing deep learning-based teaching modules at MAN 1 Sula. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research involved 15 teachers who actively participated in MGMP activities. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive model of data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that all participants successfully developed teaching modules aligned with the 2025 Merdeka Curriculum learning outcomes, emphasizing critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication. The MGMP sessions, consisting of material delivery, practice, and evaluation, effectively fostered innovation, reflective practices, and professional collaboration among teachers. Despite challenges such as limited digital infrastructure and varying levels of digital literacy, MGMP proved to be a relevant and effective platform for supporting curriculum implementation and improving the quality of deep learning in the classroom.

Abstract

The discussion about gender is getting wider, meanwhile the misunderstandings about the meaning of gender are still exist, especially based on Islamicperspective. The debate about the pros and cons of gender equality is extremely debated. Not a few think that gender equality in Islam is prohibited even though Islam also places women in the best possible position. In this study, the author examines how the Qur'an insight regarding to gender equality. Through a qualitative method approach, the researcher tried to examine through the Qur‟an and the interpretation of related issues. The results show that through theverses of the Qur'an it does not differentiate between men and women in various aspects. This can be seen in various statements of the Qur'an which always equalize the position of men and women, its regard to their human nature. The difference between men and women is only limited to differences in human nature.

Abstract

This research analyzes the effectiveness of the Merdeka Curriculum in improving students' learning independence at high school and elementary school levels, with case studies at MAN 1 Ternate and MIN 1 Ternate. Using a qualitative approach, the research collected data through in-depth interviews, observations, documentation, and focus group discussions. The results showed significant differences in the level of learning independence between the two educational levels. High school students achieved an average learning independence score of 78.5%, while elementary students reached 62.7%. These differences were influenced by cognitive development factors, teacher readiness, and external support. High school students demonstrated better ability in planning learning, conducting independent learning, and evaluating learning outcomes. Meanwhile, elementary students required more intensive guidance but showed high enthusiasm in project-based learning. The research concludes that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum needs to be adapted to students' developmental characteristics at each educational level, emphasizing increased teacher readiness, especially at the elementary level, to maximize curriculum effectiveness in improving learning independence.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of educational management in the development of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in three senior high schools in Ternate: SMA Negeri 1 Ternate, SMA Alkhairaat Ternate, and SMA Islam Ternate. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to understand the integration of educational management in the development of PAI curriculum in three senior high schools in Ternate, North Maluku. The subjects of the study included the principal, vice principal, PAI teachers, students, and school committees. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), participant observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was carried out using a thematic analysis approach, including data familiarization, coding, theme search, theme review, theme definition, and report writing. Data triangulation and member checking were used to increase the credibility of the study. This study revealed that the integration of educational management in the PAI curriculum in Ternate is influenced by the local context with different approaches in each school. Key findings include curriculum contextualization, school-based management, the role of stakeholders, and implementation challenges. Limitations include limited scope and short time; further research is needed. The integration of PAI education management in Ternate varies between schools, reflecting the local context. Challenges include integrating Islamic values, balancing the curriculum, and developing contextual methods.

Abstract

Penerapan Pojok Baca di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Al-Ma'arif bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat baca anak-anak di Desa Bobisingo, Halmahera Utara, yang menghadapi tantangan keterbatasan akses buku. Dalam konteks krisis literasi di Indonesia dan disparitas akses buku di daerah terpencil, program ini dirancang untuk memberikan solusi kontekstual melalui pembentukan ruang baca yang nyaman dan menarik di sekolah. Studi ini menerapkan metode partisipatif dan eksperimen untuk mengevaluasi dampak program, dengan fokus pada desain pojok baca, koleksi buku, pelatihan guru, sosialisasi kepada orang tua, dan kegiatan literasi.Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam minat baca siswa, dengan frekuensi membaca meningkat hingga 40% dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan literasi seperti membaca bersama dan lomba baca mengalami lonjakan. Dukungan dari komunitas dan kebijakan lokal juga berperan penting dalam keberhasilan program. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa Pojok Baca tidak hanya memperbaiki akses terhadap bahan bacaan, tetapi juga memotivasi siswa untuk membangun kebiasaan membaca yang berkelanjutan. Program ini menawarkan model yang dapat diadaptasi untuk sekolah-sekolah lain di daerah terpencil, dengan harapan dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan literasi di seluruh wilayah.

Abstract

Tujuan dari Pengabdian ini adalah  agar kompetensi guru madrasah di Pulau Morotaidapat ditingkatkan , khususnya di MTsN 1 Morotai, dalam penulisan karya ilmiah melalui pelatihan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Training dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil Kegiatan pengabdian  dapat menggambarkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut membantu guru menjadi lebih baik dalam menulis karya ilmiah.. Sebanyak 90% peserta menyatakan puas dengan pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan 85% merasa lebih percaya diri untuk menulis karya ilmiah. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah variasi tingkat pemahaman awal peserta. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru madrasah di Pulau Morotai.

Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan Olimpiade Madrasah Indonesia (OMI) Riset di MTsN 3 Kota Tidore dilaksanakan sebagai upaya peningkatan kompetensi penelitian siswa madrasah. Program ini melibatkan 15 siswa dan 3 guru pembina melalui tahapan pelatihan, workshop, serta pendampingan intensif dari dosen perguruan tinggi. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, coaching, dan learning by doing agar siswa terlibat langsung dalam setiap tahap penelitian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep penelitian sebesar 32%, terutama dalam aspek perumusan masalah, tujuan penelitian, dan teknik pengumpulan data. Selain itu, kemampuan presentasi dan kepercayaan diri siswa juga meningkat signifikan. Program ini tidak hanya berdampak pada peningkatan literasi sains siswa, tetapi juga memperkuat kapasitas guru pembina dalam membimbing riset. Kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan madrasah terbukti efektif sebagai model kemitraan pengembangan budaya riset di lingkungan pendidikan menengah.

Abstract

Pengembangan jiwa Kewirausahaan di kalangan anak muda terus memperoleh atensi sebagai fasilitas untuk meningkatkan kemampuan serta keahlian mereka. Seminar ini bertujuan untuk mengexplorasi kedudukan kewirausahaan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan anak muda, khususnya pada siswa siswi SMA N 5 kota ternate, yang di jalani oleh mahasiswa/ i IAIN Ternate program studi perbankan syariah yang di laksanakan pada kelas XII– IPS 2. Seminar ini menunjukkan bahwa kewirausahaan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas, inovasi, serta keahlian berpikir kritis anak muda. Tidak hanya itu, kewirausahaan juga menolong anak muda untuk keterampilan  manajerial, kepemimpinan, serta kerja tim. Tujuan dari seminar ini untuk peningkatan program kewirausahaan di lingkungan  pembelajaran untuk menunjang pengembangan kemampuan anak muda secara holistik.

Abstract

Mendeley merupakan aplikasi pengelola referensi dan dokumen akademik yang sangat populer dikalangan pelajar, penelititi, dan professional. Aplikasi ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengumpulkan, mengorganisir, dan berbagi referensi serta dokumen akademik dengan mudah dan efisien. Keterbatasan yang dirasakan pada siswa saat ini adalah tingkat ilmu pengetahuan kuantitatif masih sangat rendah, bahkan seperti aplikasi mendeley saja siswa masih kurang menggunakan aplikasi tersebut. Sehingga penilitian seminar ini bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan serta memperkenalkan cara menggunakan mendeley kepada pemula. Pada pelekasanaannya banyak mahasiswa yang tertarik pada seminar penilitian yang kami laksanakan dan  ada yang mengajukan pertanyaan tentang kekurangan yang ada pada mendeley. Dengan menggunakan mendeley siswa dapat mengetahui bahwa mendeley mampu mengolah daftar pustaka secara berurutan dan sistematis.
