Abstract

One of the very important roles of teachers is to create a quality, high-quality and enjoyable learning process. The purpose of this classroom action research is to find out how much impact the increase in student interest in the use of image media is interpreted into a composition. Increasing student interest can be seen from several aspects, namely: student activity, teacher activity and the effectiveness of the learning process, and student achievement scores. The techniques used are the classroom action research approach, observation data collection techniques, and student learning outcome tests. The data obtained from both student activity and student learning outcome scores in cycles I and II in classroom action research can be interpreted as follows; (1) Student interest and ability in learning to write compositions are very good. (2) Image media really helps students in improving their imagination so that they are able to make simple sentences that become the framework of the composition and then develop them again. (3) Students are able to interpret simple sentences by linking the series of images they observe. (4) Students are able to communicate their writing based on the results of observations to their friends and to the teacher. (5) The learning process is more varied so that children become creative, active and enjoyable. (6) Learning is more effective, because it focuses on image media. (7) Learning will be conducive, because students' attention is focused on the provided image media. (8) Teachers can easily evaluate the results of children's activities, especially in terms of student interest and ability. (9) Can be used as a benchmark for subsequent learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Islamic legal rulings on cryptocurrency as established by the 7th Ijtima Ulama Fatwa Commission of Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) held in November 2021. The research focuses on clarifying the status of cryptocurrency in Islamic law amid growing digital financial innovations. Methodologically, the study employs a qualitative approach based on an in-depth review of fatwas, Islamic jurisprudence, and Indonesian legal frameworks, supported by deliberations involving over 700 scholars, religious leaders, and academics. The findings reveal that MUI declared the use of cryptocurrency as a digital currency haram due to the presence of gharar (uncertainty), dharar (harm), and incompatibility with Indonesian monetary regulations. Similarly, cryptocurrency transactions as commodities or digital assets are deemed invalid because of gharar, dharar, and qimar (gambling), as well as failure to meet the shariah condition of sil’ah (clear ownership). However, an exception applies to cryptocurrencies backed by clear underlying assets, definite value, and proven benefits, which may be permissible. This research contributes original insight into contemporary Islamic finance by addressing cryptocurrency’s evolving legal status within Indonesia’s socio-legal context. The results serve as essential guidance for Muslim communities and policymakers in navigating digital finance consistent with shariah principles.

Abstract

This research aims to compare kinship terms in Sasak and Mbojo languages in an anthropolinguistic perspective. The scope of the research includes analyzing the form, function, and meaning of kinship terms used in Sasak and Mbojo language-speaking communities, as well as how social factors such as age, gender, and family relationships influence the use of these terms. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The method of data provision in this research is the observation method with the technique of listening to conversation and recording techniques. The research data studied include vocabulary and patterns of kinship greetings from blood relations and marriage relations in Sasak and Mbojo languages. The results of this research is that there are seven levels of kinship terms related to blood relations in the Sasak tribe, while in Mbojo tribe it only reaches the sixth level. In addition, there is a patrilineal system in naming kinship in the Sasak language, such as in the mention of papuq dade ‘grandparents from the father’s line’ and papuq bungkak ‘grandparents from mother’s line’. The naming means that when two people who are still related marry, the grandparents from the male side have more rights over their grandchildren regarding lineage. The child will also follow the greeting or kinship language of the father’s lineage or the lineage of the male family.

Abstract

In today's era, various business sectors are developing rapidly. Not only is information technology booming, but other business sectors are also expanding. One such sector is entrepreneurship. However, currently, fostering interest in entrepreneurship among the public, particularly among students, is very difficult due to a lack of knowledge and the lack of opportunities to start a business. In fact, entrepreneurship is expected to reduce current unemployment. A graduate is required to be able to create jobs, not just look for them; this will also be useful for people who need them. The government, of course, cannot fully provide jobs due to numerous obstacles, one of which is funding. Entrepreneurship can be initiated and developed by many factors, one of which is education. Through entrepreneurship education, it is hoped that it will spark interest and increase students' curiosity about entrepreneurship, thereby developing an entrepreneurial attitude that will produce new entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship education is expected to inspire enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, creativity, and development of new things. This provides an opportunity for students to compete for capital, which can later be used as initial capital for running a business. Entrepreneurship courses play a crucial role in fostering entrepreneurial interest, which is intended to provide students with practical experience from businesses, whether large, medium, or small. By providing students with a basic understanding of entrepreneurship, they will have the opportunity to directly engage in the world of entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of entrepreneurship education in student interest in becoming entrepreneurs. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection methods including questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The targeted output is the Misykat al-Anwar Journal, a journal of Islamic and Community Studies at the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FAI) of the State Islamic University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMJ), which, God willing, will be published in November 2024.

Abstract

Abstract

Tourism villages are a vital element in the sustainable development of Indonesia's tourism industry. The success of tourism village development is strongly influenced by the presence of unique attractions based on local culture, natural beauty, and the social values upheld by the local community. This study aims to explore the role of unique attractions, such as the Betemoe Package in Bilebante Tourism Village, in promoting local economic growth, cultural preservation, and the strengthening of community social cohesion. A descriptive-qualitative approach was employed through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. The primary focus of the study lies in the active involvement of local communities, the reinforcement of traditional cultural roles, and the use of local wisdom-based marketing strategies to create authentic and meaningful tourism experiences. The findings reveal that the Betemoe Package not only offers entertainment through traditional dance performances and ancient lontar manuscript readings, but also educates visitors on values of tolerance and interfaith harmony, particularly between Muslim and Hindu residents living peacefully side by side. This attraction effectively strengthens cultural identity and raises collective awareness of preserving ancestral heritage. Moreover, synergy among village governments, tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis), local SMEs, and private stakeholders is a key factor in enhancing infrastructure, expanding promotion, and increasing tourism village competitiveness. In conclusion, developing culturally rooted attractions with active community participation can create an inclusive and sustainable tourism ecosystem that significantly benefits the social and economic welfare of rural communities.
