Abstract

This study explores the integration of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) values into contemporary culture-based entrepreneurship education. Amid global challenges and digital era dynamics, the presence of Muslim entrepreneurs who are ethical, spiritual, innovative, and adaptive is crucial. Employing a literature study method with a qualitative approach, the research analyzes sources related to Islamic values in education and entrepreneurship. The results show that core PAI values of honesty, trustworthiness, hard work, responsibility, and creativity can be integrated into entrepreneurship education through a holistic and contextual model. This model rests on four pillars: Islamic character formation, internalization of Sharia principles in business, development of value-based entrepreneurial skills, and real-world application in the community. The integration strengthens the Islamic identity of entrepreneurs while bridging religion and professional competence. This approach contributes to developing a contextual, relevant curriculum that embeds Islamic values in entrepreneurship education, offering a framework for producing ethically grounded Muslim entrepreneurs fit for modern challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the model of Islamic education in building interfaith tolerance in Jordan, with a focus on state policy and the role of religious institutions. Jordan is known as a country that has succeeded in displaying the face of moderate Islam and becoming an example of the practice of religious tolerance in the Middle East region. The approach used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on 21 relevant scientific articles, both national and international, published in the last ten years. Data were collected through the stages of identification, selection, analysis, and synthesis of literature. The results of the study indicate that the Islamic education model in Jordan is built on the principle of moderate(moderate), interfaith dialogue, and integration of tolerance values in the religious education curriculum. The Jordanian government actively formulates national policies that support religious moderation, such as through the national curriculum, training of religious teachers, and capacity building programs for Islamic educational institutions. On the other hand, religious institutions such as the Ministry of Awqaf and the Islamic University of Jordan play an important role in disseminating the values of tolerance and curbing extremism through lectures, sermons, and scientific publications. The discussion underlines the importance of synergy between the state and religious institutions in internalizing the values of tolerance from primary education to higher education. The conclusion of this study confirms that the model of Islamic education in Jordan can be used as a reference in building a peaceful and inclusive multicultural society through a systemic policy approach and an active religious role.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) to adapt to the development of information technology without losing the distinctive character of Islamic education. As one of the largest Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School is faced with the challenge of strengthening the competency of its students so they can face global dynamics while remaining grounded in Islamic values. This study aims to formulate and analyze a cyber-based integrative learning design that can improve students' overall competency through an Islamic sociological approach. The methodology used is a qualitative and phenomenological, through field observations and in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and Islamic boarding school administrators. The results show that the implementation of the cyber-based integrative learning design has a significant impact on improving the competency of students, both in cognitive aspects (Islamic knowledge), affective (strengthening morals and spirituality), and social (the ability to interact in the digital space). The study of Islamic sociology confirms that this learning innovation can maintain the continuity of tradition and modernity in a single value, strengthening the identity of the Islamic boarding school as an agent of Islamic-based social transformation.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Tangsil Wetan Village are diverse, ranging from street vendors and street vendors to local product marketers. Most residents are farmers who rely solely on a 3–4-month harvest, while others are freshwater fish farmers (pokdakan). Given this situation, an initiative emerged to incorporate these businesses into the Student Creativity Program (PKM) so that fish farmers like Mr. Muzayyin and his group can further develop. The PKM aims to provide solutions to the still-conventional catfish processing and marketing system by offering innovative, tastier, more varied, and competitive catfish chips. Furthermore, the PKM aims to train production skills, marketing management, and business legality through the creation of NIB (National Business License) and PIRT (Farm Business License), while also strengthening business capital with support from the Village-Owned Enterprise (BumDes). The PKM method was carried out over two months (August–September 2023) and involved eight members. The activity began with an interview with the Head of the Fish Farmers Association, followed by permit processing, material and non-material preparation, and the formation of a coordination team. Following this, training was conducted on catfish chip production, marketing management, and business licensing. The results and discussion demonstrated the farmers' openness in addressing issues and their enthusiasm for participating in discussions. The mentoring improved their understanding of product innovation and online marketing. After the program, the group demonstrated growth potential of up to 80% and began collaborating with other parties. Conclusions and Implications: This PKM not only helps increase the added value of catfish through chip products, but also encourages business independence, expands the market, and creates new job opportunities that support the economy of Tangsil Wetan Village.
