Abstract

Covid 19 has led to loss learning and decreased student motivation in learning so that learning is needed that can increase motivation and meaningfulness in learning. The purpose of this study was to develop an Android-based mock up using the Multimedia Development Live Cycle (MDLC) steps to develop meaningful science learning in elementary schools. This research is a development research using the MDLC stages followed by trials on material, language, media and user experts. The subjects of this study were experts, teachers and 5th grade students. Technical analysis used descriptive quantitative techniques. Data collection methods consist of questionnaires, interviews and tests. Instruments in the form of expert validation sheets, tests, interviews and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results of the study show that the media that has been developed has a material expert feasibility of 68% (appropriate), media expert 91% (very feasible), and language expert 94% (decent). The teacher's practicality assessment obtained a percentage of 87% (very practical) and students obtained a proportion of 77% with very practical criteria. Android-based mock up is feasible to use. This is also based on the results of an increase in the average pretest score of 63.3 and posttest of 77.7. Posttest scores also show scores above the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Android-based Mock Up can improve student learning outcomes and make science learning more meaningful for students.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the results of observations which show that students' critical thinking skills and creativity are still low. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of PjBL-STEM learning assisted by Water Cycle Learning Application (ABSA) media in order to improve the critical thinking skills and creativity of fifth grade students. The type of research used was Collaborative PTK with 34 research subjects. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests and documentation. This research is said to be successful if fifth grade students can achieve success indicators greater than 75 percent or with a score of greater than 75 for critical thinking skills and obtain an average score from the observations made reaching the "Very Good" category with a value range of 80-100. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, with each cycle having 2 meetings. In cycle 1 after getting the action, it increased to 44 percent at meeting and 58 percent for meeting 2. Then in cycle 2 it also increased, namely at meeting 1 by 76 percent and 82 percent at meeting 2. While the average score of students' creativity increased in cycle 1 with details of 65.4 at meeting 1 and 74.3 at meeting 2. This increase was also seen in cycle 2, where at meeting 1 it was obtained 78.5 and meeting 2 was 83.1 in the Very Good category. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil observasi yang menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap kreatif siswa yang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran PjBL-STEM berbantuan media Aplikasi Belajar Siklus Air (ABSA) agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap kreatif siswa kelas V. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK Kolaboratif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dikatakan berhasil jika siswa kelas V dapat mencapai indikator keberhasilan lebih dari 75 persen atau dengan nilai lebih dari 75 untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis dan memperoleh skor rata-rata hasil observasi yang dilakukan mencapai kategori “Sangat Baik” dengan rentang nilai 80-100. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus, dengan masing-masing siklus terdapat 2 pertemuan. Pada siklus 1 setelah mendapatkan tindakan, meningkat menjadi 44 persen pada pertemuan dan 58 persen untuk pertemuan 2. Kemudian pada siklus 2 juga meningkat yakni pada pertemuan 1 sebesar 76 persen dan 82 persen pada pertemuan 2. Sedangkan skor rata-rata sikap kreatif siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus 1 dengan rincian 65,4 pada pertemuan 1 dan 74,3 di pertemuan 2. Peningkatan ini juga terlihat di siklus 2, dimana pada pertemuan 1 diperoleh 78,5 dan pertemuan 2 sebesar 83,1 dengan kategori Sangat Baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce and determine the feasibility, practicality, and legibility of reading literacy-based textbooks using the type of research and development of the 4D model. The research instruments were arranged based on the level of research needs, namely material expert validation, product validation, and linguist validation. The results of the product feasibility assessment by validation experts obtained 95.8% media validation, 95% material validation, and 91.96% language validation. The product readability rating obtained 89.83%, supported by 90.75% language literacy story questions and 89% character-based language story test results. The findings of this study indicate that reading literacy-based textbooks can attract students' attention and are interactive, the presentation of the content supported by pictures and various color compositions can attract reading interest and stimulate critical thinking skills. So as to help students have the literacy skills needed at this time.

Abstract

Digital media literacy and monitoring the use of digital media and online media during the COVID-19 pandemic are currently widely accessed by the general public, but many students during the current pandemic are not able to use digital media intelligently. The objectives of this community service activity include: 1) providing education and socialization to teachers and parents about the characteristics of digital media accessed by children during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2) providing knowledge about the impact of using digital media on behavior and development. psychology of children, 3) provide encouragement to teachers and parents to be able to provide assistance to children in managing the use of digital media intelligently. This type of service design is socialization and case studies as well as the method in carrying out this activity using the question and answer method of training, lectures, discussions, and case simulations about the use of gadgets that are good and right. The method used in community service is through seminar kits and workshops. With these trainings and workshops, it is hoped that there will be two-way communication, both between resource persons and participants and between participants themselves. The results of the training activities during mentoring for approximately 1 month are: 1) teachers are more interactive when teaching online in packaging learning using applications that are synchronized with online media such as zoom meetings, google meetings and group watzhap. 2) Parents and teachers are increasingly understanding about the characteristics of digital media, 3) teachers and parents are increasingly understanding about the impact of using digital media on children's behavior and psychological development, 4) parents are increasingly effective in assisting children in regulating intelligent use of digital media anytime and anywhere, 5) there is a very big influence that students are motivated to be enthusiastic in learning because during this pandemic there is a scale of restrictions in learning, 6) There is awareness of parents in preparing financially to buy learning quota packages maximum.

Abstract

Masalah lingkungan muncul akibat dari perilaku manusia yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Hal itu terjadi karena rendahnya kesadaran manusia tentang lingkungan. Upaya untuk mengatasi masalah lingkungan yaitu menanamkan literasi lingkungan di sekolah melalui kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan, kelayakan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan video pembelajaran animasi lingkungan topik hemat energi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah model ADDIE, yang meliputi: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, evaluasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa video animasi lingkungan dengan topik hemat energi yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan literasi lingkungan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Patokpicis 01 Wajak. Kelayakan video animasi lingkungan topik hemat energi dari ahli materi diperoleh persentase 86,7% dengan kategori layak. Dari ahli media diperoleh persentase sebesar 89% dalam kategori sesuai, dari ahli bahasa diperoleh persentase sebesar 95,9% dalam kategori sesuai. Hasil uji kepraktisan oleh guru dan siswa mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik, dari guru diperoleh persentase sebanyak 92,5% dan dari siswa diperoleh persentase sebanyak 94,5%. Hasil uji efektivitas diperoleh nilai rata-rata 90 yang berarti “Sangat Efektif” sehingga media video animasi lingkungan pada topik hemat energi yang dikembangkan peneliti untuk meningkatkan literasi lingkungan siswa layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media belajar LKPD Elektronik Pembelajaran Tematik Berbasis High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) untuk Siswa Kelas Rendah yaitu siswa kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah ADDIE perpanjangan dari Anlayisis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitaian ini adalah 10 orang siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penilaian E-LKPD dalam kemenarikan media, dikategorikan sangat baik dengan persentase 83,34%.rata-rata 4,16. Sedangkah hasil evaluasi ahli materi tentang kedalaman materi dalam E-LKPD dikategorikan sangat baik dengan persentase 93,82% rata-rata 4,69. Hasil respon siswa sebagai pengguna E-LKPD dinilai baik dengan persentase 79,61% dan rata-rata 3,98. Serangkaian komentar pengguna dalam kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa penampilan E-LKPD menarik, membangkitkan minat belajar dan membuat siswa lebih memahami materi. Kebaruan penelitian ini adalah dihasilkannya LKPD dalam bentuk elektronik sehingga dapat diakses secara fleksibel, menarik, dan bervariasi. Selain itu soal-soal latihan yang disajikan dalam E-LKPD ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada siswa karena berbasis High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS).

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' interest in learning through the application of the traditional Ektas game media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this research were 27 students consisting of 13 male students and 14 female students. The data collection techniques used were observation techniques, interest questionnaires, field notes and documentation. Data analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. Based on the research results, the percentage of students' interest in learning increased rapidly from the results of observation measurements in cycle I of 71.92%, increasing in cycle II to 90.37%. This was also followed by an increase in the results of the questionnaire measuring interest in learning from 71.48% in cycle II to 90.40%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the traditional Ektas game media can increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

The low critical thinking ability of students in science and science learning is still not competent because learning activities still seem monotonous, teachers still do not use designing learning tools to improve critical thinking skills, especially not using interactive LKPD, therefore, researchers use PBL-based Liveworksheet software to improve critical thinking skills which aims to describe the development process, determine the level of feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of the product. This research method uses ADDIE, namely Analysis, Design, Implementation and Evaluation. Data collection techniques use test sheets and validation questionnaires on material, language, media, teacher responses and student responses. Based on these results, the PBL-based E-LKPD Liveworksheet to improve critical thinking skills is valid and practical to use for fourth grade elementary school learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada pembelajaran IPA metamorfosis kelas IV di SDN Bandungrejosari 1 Kota Malang. Metode penelitian menggunakan model Design and Development (D&D) dengan tahapan menurut Peffers: (1) identify the problem motivating the research; (2) describe the objectives. (3) design and development the artifact; (4) subject the artifact to testing; (5) Evaluate the results of testing; (6) communicate those results. Data penilaian dihimpun menggunakan angket validasi ahli materi, validasi media, angket penilaian kepraktisan dari guru dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penilaian yaitu ahli validasi materi memperoleh persentase 82%, dengan kategori sangat layak, uji validasi media memperoleh hasil dengan persentase 91% dengan kategori sangat layak. LKPD berbasis CTL pada pembelajaran IPA materi metamorfosis sangat layak kepada siswa kelas IV SD. Sedangkan, hasil penilaian kepraktisan dari guru mata pelajaran memperoleh persentase 82% kategori sangat praktis dan hasil angket respon siswa memperoleh persentase 92% kategori sangat baik. LKPD dengan demikian layak dan dapat dijadikan suatu alternatif dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang masih kurang, menjadi dasar penelitian ini. Terlebih lagi pada materi IPA khususnya materi ekosistem yang belum maksimal. Guna menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik serta menyenangkan,  mencapai hasil yang maksimal dan optimal. Maka peneliti ini memilih untuk mengembangan media pembelajaran daring yang berbasis mock up pada pembelajaran tematik IPA materi ekosistem. Peneliti menentukan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Mengembangkan media pembelajaran daring berbasis mock up. 2) Mendeskripiskan kelayakan media pembelajaran daring berbasis mock up 3) Mendeskripsikan kepraktisan dari media pembelajran daring berbasis mock up, 4) mendeskripsikan keefektifan dari media pembelajaran daring berbasis mock up. Serta metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Model yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah model pengembangan jenis ADDIE dengan lima tahapan yaitu Analisis (Analysis), Desain (Design), Pengembangan (Development), Implementasi (Implementation), dan Evaluasi (Evaluation). Teknis analisis peneliti menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.
