Abstract

The low interest of students in participating in learning activities motivated this research. Lack of student participation in discussions or asking questions has an impact on decreasing interest in learning. This factor is not only related to education, but also influenced by student behavior, suitability of materials, and teaching methods that do not match their interests and learning styles. Podcast media is an effective educational option. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of podcast media on learning interest of Master of PAI students class of 2023 UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. This study involved 31 PAI students of class E. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design (one-group pre-test and post-test) was used to collect data to measure changes in learning interest. The analysis results showed that the podcast effectively increased students' interest in learning. Before the treatment, 9 students (29%) had high interest, 19 students (61.2%) had moderate interest, and 6 students (19.4%) had low interest. However, after the treatment, students who had low interest dropped to 16 students (52%). With a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), the statistical analysis showed a significant difference between before and after the treatment.

Abstract

Kehidupan yang tertib dan damai dalam tatanan masyarakat adalah menjadi harapan, namun dalam interaksi antar individu di dalamnya akan ada saja perbedaan-perbedaan sesuai kepentingan masing-masing sehingga dapat menimbulkan benturan kepentingan yang satu dengan yang lain yang dapat mengganggu keseimbangan tatanan masyarakat dapat berupa konflik atau pertikaian. Sekarang marak terjadi, masyarakat cenderung menggunakan kekerasan dalam penyelesaian sengketa yang mereka alami, dengan harapan dapat diselesaikan dengan cepat dan biaya lebih murah. Masyarakat memandang bahwa dengan melakukan kekerasan, sengketa yang terjadi akan dapat diselesaikan,sehingga dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang demikian, maka angka konflik atau pertikaian terus meningkat dan menjadi fenomena biasa dalam masyarakat baik terkait konflik antara dua individu maupun lebih. Fenomena ini berakibat pada penumpukan perkara di lembaga-lembaga peradilan, belum lagi yang tidak dilaporkan yang dapat menjadi bara dalam jiwa korban maupun pelaku yang sewaktu-waktu dapat meledak dan memicu eskalasi konflik yang semakin luas. Kecenderungan orang berprasangka buruk terhadap proses peradilan konvensional sekarang, disana disangka terjadi adu loby mana yang kuat dia yang menang dan malah dikatakan menang jadi arang kalah jadi abu. Prasangka buruk itu yang membuat proses peradilan tidak dipercaya, yang berakibat kecenderungan orang melampiaskan penyelesaian masalahnya dengan main hakim sendiri

Abstract

Abstract.This study aims to analyze the role of parents in reading interest of students. This research is a type of quantitative research with the number of respondents in the study of 99 fifth grade students at SD Negeri Gugus Sultan Fatah, Bonang District, Demak Regency. The method in this study is quasi experimental This study also used a non-experimental or ex post facto design. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. Test instrument using validation test and reliability test. The results of the study is parents influenced the reading interest of fifth grade students in SD Negeri Gugus Sultan Fatah, Bonang District, Demak Regency by 312 or 31.2% and the correlation value was 0, 559. Parents' suggestions should maximize the role to foster students' interest in reading. Children will learn from their parents, so set a good example, where when children see their parents so enjoy reading and judging books can be a great inspiration, of course their reading interest can increase Keywords: role of parents, interest in reading

Abstract

Evaluation instruments in teacher training are important elements to ensure the improvement of teaching competence and the effectiveness of the learning process. With the development of technology, digital-based evaluation instruments have emerged as a solution to provide faster and more accurate feedback. However, the use of technology in training evaluation still faces challenges, such as limited digital skills among some teachers. This study aims to develop a digital-based evaluation instrument and analyze its impact on teacher competency development. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study design, through in-depth interview techniques, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that digital-based evaluation instruments have a positive impact on teacher competency development by accelerating the process of self-reflection and improving teaching techniques. However, challenges related to technical limitations in some teachers require attention to ensure the effectiveness of using this instrument. These findings emphasize the importance of technology training to support continuous teacher professional development.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the views of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Ulama regarding religious and national moderation. In the context of a pluralistic Indonesia, religious moderation is expected to be a solution to overcome the problems of extremism and intolerance that often arise, while the concept of nationality plays an important role in maintaining harmony between religious communities. To achieve this aim, this research uses qualitative methods with in-depth interview techniques and document analysis. Data was obtained from NU ulama who have experience and deep understanding of moderation and nationality issues, both in local and national contexts. The theory used in this research is the theory of religious pluralism, which emphasizes the importance of mutual respect, recognition of diversity, and interreligious dialogue in building social harmony. The research results show that NU ulama emphasize the need for balance between faith and nationality, as well as an active role in maintaining tolerance in society. They argue that religious moderation is not just an attitude, but must also be realized in real actions that can strengthen solidarity between religious communities. It is hoped that these findings can make a significant contribution to the development of religious moderation strategies in Indonesia, as well as become a reference for public policies that support harmonious national life. By understanding the perspective of NU ulama, it is hoped that better cooperation can be established between various elements of society in creating a tolerant and peaceful environment. This research also suggests the need for educational programs that prioritize moderation and national values ​​for future generations, so that the vision of harmony and unity can continue to be maintained and strengthened.

Abstract

Through the School-Based Management (SBM) policy, principals—as policy makers at the school level—can optimize all available resources to create a more effective and efficient educational process, particularly in the aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation. However, In parctice, many school principals are still unable to fully implement SBM, resulting in minimal changes in school conditions and management. Therefore, this study aims to examine the role of the principal in the implementation of SBM at SD Negeri 12 Talang Ubi. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data analysis was conducted in three stages: (1) data reduction, (2) data display, and (3) conclusion drawing. Based on findings in the field, the principal has carried out his role professionally in implementing SBM. The principal acts as a role model and motivator for both teaching and administrative staff, and has taken the initiative to propose building renovations and procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure. The researcher concludes that the principal has performed well in leadership, motivating teachers, and improving infrastructure during the SBM implementation. It is recommended that the principal continue to enhance his professionalism to strengthen public recognition and trust in the educational institution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, (1) Mengetahui analisis kebutuhan siswa terhadap soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills), (2) Menyusun design soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) (3) Mengetahui kevalidan dan praktikalitas soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills), (4) Mengetahui efektifitas pengembangan soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV SDN 51 Sumarambu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri atas 5 tahapan yaitu: (1)analyze, (2)design, (3)development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluate. Berdasarkan tahap analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan peneliti di SDN 51 Sumarambu, maka dibutuhkan sebuah inovasi baru terutama dalam bahan ajar berbentuk buku, dalam hal ini dikembangkan Soal Evaluasi Berbasis Hots Pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas IV. Selanjutnya Soal Evaluasi Berbasis Hots divalidasi oleh tiga orang ahli sebagai validator diantaranya ahli bahasa 85% (sangat valid), ahli materi 92% (sangat valid) dan ahli desain 81% (sangat valid). Hasil yang sangat memuaskan dan positif dengan nilai akhir yang diperoleh melalui uji praktikalitas oleh peserta didik sebesar 88.7% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan 89,5% dari guru kelas IV dengan kategori sangat praktis. Kemudian untuk hasil efektifitas dengan melibatkan 18 peserta didik dengan hasil 73% (efektif). Soal evaluasi berbasi HOTS yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: The application of the CEFR in teaching Arabic, especially in non-Arab countries such as Indonesia, remains very limited. This study aims to analyze the compatibility of language proficiency descriptors in the Language Skills course curriculum of the arabic language education department at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta with the international CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) standards. This research is a literature study to analyze curriculum documents by comparing the competencies and scope of material in the Arabic language skills curriculum in the Arabic language education department at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta with the CEFR proficiency level (A1–C2). The results show that the language skills descriptors reflect efforts to develop the four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—in various contexts, whether in everyday life, professional, or academic. However, most of the competency achievements remain within the range of levels A2 to C1 and have not fully demonstrated the integration between skills as outlined in the CEFR. This study also highlights the importance of adapting the CEFR in Arabic language learning, while maintaining consideration for the social context, culture, national education policy, learner needs, and typical characteristics of the Arabic language. In addition, the integration of intercultural communication competencies in the implementation of the CEFR is key for Arabic language learning to effectively deal with the dynamics of a multilingual and multicultural society.   ملخص: لا يزال تطبيق CEFR في تدريس اللغة العربية، خاصة في البلدان غير العربية مثل إندونيسيا، محدودا للغاية. يهدف هذا البحث لتحليل مدى ملاءمة واصفات الكفاءة اللغوية في  مساق المهارات اللغوية  في منهج قسم  تعليم اللغة العربية في جامعة رادين ماس سعيد سوراكرتا بالمعيار الدولي CEFR (الإطار الأوروبي المرجعي العام للغات). وهذا البحث هو بحث مكتبي لتحليل وثائق المناهج الدراسية من من خلال مراجعة المناهج الدراسية، وخطة التعلم الفصلي (RPS) ، و واصفات مخرجات التعليم في منهج مهارات اللغة العربية في قسم تعليم اللغة العربية في جامعة رادين ماس سعيد الإسلامية الحكومية سوراكرتا مع مستويات الكفاءة اللغوية في الإطار الأوروبي المرجعي العام للغات (A1-C2). تظهر النتائج أن واصف مهارات اللغة قد عكس الجهود المبذولة لتطوير المهارات اللغوية الأربع - الاستماع والكلام والقراءة والكتابة - في سياقات مختلفة، سواء في الحياة اليومية أو المهنية أو الأكاديمية. ومع ذلك، فإن معظم إنجازات الكفاءة لا تزال في حدود المستويات من A2 إلى C1، ولم تثبت بشكل كامل التكامل بين المهارات على النحو المبين في CEFR . يسلط هذا البحث الضوء  على أهمية تكييف CEFR في تعليم اللغة العربية أيضا، مع مراعاة السياق الاجتماعي والثقافة وسياسة التعليم الوطنية واحتياجات المتعلم والخصائص النموذجية للغة العربية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يعد دمج كفاءات التواصل بين الثقافات في تنفيذ CEFR أمرا أساسيا لتعليم اللغة العربية للتعامل بفعالية مع ديناميكيات مجتمع متعدد اللغات والثقافات.
