Abstract

Along with the times, synthetic composite materials are often used as materials for making reinforcing car panels, car dashboards and other interior devices. Although synthetic composite materials have strong strength, synthetic composite materials are less environmentally friendly and have an expensive price. Natural fibres are an alternative to synthetic fibres in order to reduce natural pollution and reduce production costs. Therefore, in this research I will use palm fibre and resam as reinforcement material. The purpose of this research is to find out whether mixing between resam fibre and palm fibre to make a car dashboard has reached the standardised value of making a car dashboard. The hand lay-up method will be combined with the Taguchi method in the L9(34) orthogonal matrix design used as a guide for making test specimens. With tensile and impact testing. This study used variations in volume fraction of 25%, 30%, 35% fibre, as well as variations in fibre length of 30mm, 40mm, 50mm with 2h NaOH immersion. The highest average value of impact test strength was at 30% volume fraction of fibre with 30mm fibre length with a value of 0.0617 Joule and the lowest average value was at 25% volume fraction of fibre with 50mm fibre length with a value of 0.0307 Joule.

Abstract

The demand for clean water continues to increase along with population growth. Therefore, it is important to improve water quality to meet the demand for clean water supply. There are three methods that can be used in the water purification process, namely filtration, sedimentation, and adsorption. Clam shell waste contains calcium carbonate (CaCO3) with a percentage of 98%. This content can be used as an adsorption media. The purpose of this research is to utilize gold snail shell waste for activation at mesh size and temperature by determining the most optimum value. The results of making adsorbents will be tested on borehole water at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic to study changes in the degree of acidity of water pH. The research was conducted using the Taguchi method, where the process parameters were mesh size and activation temperature. The parameters were then adjusted with the OA L_9 algorithm for three repetitions. Based on the results of the research and test data processing that has been done, it is concluded that the activation temperature is the highest influence in the process of making adsorbents. Optimal results were obtained at a powder size of 150 mesh (109 μm) and at an activation temperature of 700o C. With a percent contribution value on mesh size of 3.42% and activation temperature of 94.32%. It can be concluded that activation temperature is the highest influence in the process of making adsorbents.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the relationship between the Judicial Commission (KY) and the Supreme Court (MA) has had its ups and downs, and there are still many misinterpretations, as well as no common paradigm. As a result, if left unchecked, it could have a wide-ranging impact on law enforcement and justice in Indonesia's justice system. There are many aspects that need to be developed namely by establishing common paradigm and evaluating each party’s duties and authorities in order to achieve a harmonious relationship and strong synergy. Based on the problematic relationship between the two state institutions, the author is interested in studying and discussing "Building an Ideal Relationship between the Judicial Commission and the Supreme Court”. In order to examine and discuss the issue more fundamentally, the writer formulates the problem as follows: "How is the effort to build an ideal relationship between the judicial commission and the Supreme Court?” The method used is in accordance with the type of research, which is normative juridical and involves the use of both primary and secondary legal materials. While the analysis that was used is a qualitative juridical analysis. The conclusion is that the paradigm of the relationship that must be built between the judicial commission and the Supreme Court is the paradigm of equality, systematic, professionalism and proportionality. Efforts that can be made are to strengthen communication, coordination, and review and evaluate various obstacles and weaknesses regarding the position, function, and authority between the two state institutions by involving experts or neutral national figures. Revising from the aspect of the legislation is included.
