Abstract

This study investigates the transformative role of Generation Z in Indonesia’s digital Islamic da’wah landscape, focusing on their active participation as both content consumers and creators. As digital natives, Gen Z increasingly utilizes platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Canva to design and disseminate religious messages, redefining traditional clerical models of Islamic preaching. Employing qualitative methods, including digital ethnography, semi-structured interviews, and content analysis, this research analyzes how youth reinterpret Islamic teachings in visually engaging and culturally resonant formats. The study examined their platform preferences, creative strategies, and challenges faced in balancing aesthetic appeal with theological depth. Findings indicate that Gen Z’s use of visual storytelling significantly enhances outreach and engagement, but also introduces tensions regarding misinformation, content saturation, and perceived religious authority. Student creators prioritize relatability and visual design, which often necessitate navigating trade-offs between popularity and substance. Institutional responses have begun to include media literacy initiatives and collaborations with digital influencers, aiming to ensure doctrinal accuracy while expanding reach. This research concludes that Gen Z’s integration of technology and religion signals a new era of decentralized, participatory da’wah. Their role extends beyond adaptation they are actively reshaping the meaning, delivery, and reception of Islamic messages. The study contributes to interdisciplinary dialogues in religious communication, youth culture, and digital media studies by emphasizing the pedagogical and institutional implications of youth-led digital da’wah.

Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers' professional competencies in developing differentiated learning in fifth-grade Indonesian language at SDIT Atikah Musaddad. The findings highlight several crucial aspects of teacher competency in developing differentiated learning, including the ability to adapt learning materials to students' needs, the use of diverse assessment strategies, and skills in managing inclusive classroom interactions. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study as the primary design. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with Indonesian language teachers, and analysis of lesson plan documents and teaching materials. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis techniques to identify differentiation practices implemented by teachers in teaching Indonesian language. The implications of this study are the importance of teacher professional development at SDIT Atikah Musaddad, with an emphasis on the application of differentiation practices to facilitate more effective and inclusive learning in the context of fifth-grade Indonesian language classes. Thus, this research is expected to provide valuable insights for curriculum development and teacher training to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture on teacher competence and its implications for realizing teacher performance at Garut Islamic School Prima Insani. The research employed a quantitative approach using descriptive-analytical methods and path analysis. The population consisted of 52 teachers selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The findings demonstrate that organizational culture significantly influences teacher competence by 61.4%, teacher competence significantly influences teacher performance by 76.9%, and organizational culture significantly influences teacher performance by 72.9%. These results highlight the importance of strengthening organizational culture and enhancing teacher competence to improve teacher performance.

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of effectiveness of learning applied by educators so that learning is monotonous, the differentiated learning model applied is still not in accordance with the characteristics of students, and students' interest in learning in PAI subjects is still lacking. This study aims to determine the influence of differentiated learning models on students' learning interests in PAI subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Tarogong Kaler Garut. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey design. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaire distribution, from a population of 438 students, as many as 79 respondents were selected using probability sampling techniques with the type of cluster sampling method. The data analysis in this study includes validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistical analysis test, normality test, linearity test and hypothesis test as well as t test and determination test. The results of the study show that the differentiated learning model is well implemented, as seen in the recapitulation of variable X, namely the overall mean obtained of 78,87 which is in the high or good category. Meanwhile, students' interest in learning in PAI subjects showed good results, as seen in the recapitulation of variable Y with an average score of 94,54 which was in the high or good category. The results of the Determination Test obtained an R Square value (0,592) which is in the moderate category, meaning that the contribution or influence of the process differentiated learning model (X) on student learning interest (Y) is 59,2%, the remaining 40,8% is influenced by other factors. This indicates that the differential learning model has a high or good influence on students' interest in learning PAI subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Tarogong Kaler Garut.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of active learning-based group discussion strategies in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Fiqh in grade XI of SMA Darussalam Wanaraja. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with Islamic Religious Education teachers and grade XI students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. Data validity was tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that heterogeneously designed group discussion strategies were able to increase student active participation, courage to express opinions, group cooperation, and understanding of Fiqh material. Increased student involvement resulted in better learning outcomes, where most students achieved scores above the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). Obstacles that emerged were differences in student academic abilities and limited learning time, but these could be overcome through structured classroom management, group mentoring, and continuous motivation. Thus, active learning-based group discussion strategies can be an effective learning alternative to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Fiqh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran masih cenderung membosankan dan monoton sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut terlihat pada mata pelajaran Fikih di kelas XI Saintek 1 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Garut, di mana dari 28 siswa terdapat 13 siswa memperoleh nilai di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran Kahoot! dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, mengevaluasi capaian belajar, serta mengidentifikasi peningkatannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest pada kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Kelas XI Saintek 1 dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan Kahoot!, sedangkan XI Saintek 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kahoot! mampu menciptakan suasana belajar interaktif dan menyenangkan, dengan tingkat keterlibatan guru dan siswa mencapai 94% (kategori sangat baik). Rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 63,78 menjadi 89,43, dengan persentase kenaikan 25,65% (kategori tinggi) dan nilai N-Gain 69,70 (kategori sedang). Uji-t menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Sementara itu, kelas kontrol hanya mengalami peningkatan 0,89%. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa Kahoot! efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Fikih.
