As centers of religious and social activities, mosques play a strategic role in fostering the community and developing the community, requiring professional and accountable management to optimize their function. However, many mosques in rural areas still face challenges in institutional management, particularly in poorly systematized administrative and financial management. The Nurul Huda Mosque in Nambi Village is one such mosque that serves as a center for local community religious activities, yet in practice it still faces various problems related to organizational governance. Manual administrative management, disorganized financial records, and a lack of understanding of modern management principles among the administrators are challenges that must be addressed immediately to increase congregational trust and participation. The purpose of this community service program is to strengthen the institutional management capacity of the Nurul Huda Mosque through administrative and financial training programs for mosque administrators, resulting in more professional, transparent, and accountable governance to support the sustainability of mosque operations and improve the quality of services to the congregation

As a leader in an educational institution, a school principal has a great influence on the institution and also the community within the institution. The essence of transformation is changing potential into real energy. School principals who are able to carry out leadership transformations mean they can change the potential of their institution into energy to improve the performance of existing teachers. Transformational leadership is described as a leadership style that can arouse or motivate employees, so that they can develop and achieve performance at a high level, beyond what they previously expected. Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of the people of Delik Hamlet, Kesamben Village, regarding the fiqh of prayer through guidance on the Tafsir Ahkam study. The guidance is provided to address the low level of knowledge among the community regarding the legal arguments, requirements and pillars of prayer, the law of jama' for travellers, and things that invalidate prayer, so that worship can be carried out in accordance with the teachings of the Sharia. The implementation method includes lectures using the book Tafsir Ayat Hukum Ibadah dan Makanan by Muhammad Qoyyim Yaqub as the primary reference, accompanied by question-and-answer sessions and discussions to reinforce understanding. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge regarding the legal basis for the obligation of prayer, the rules for congregational prayer for travellers, the invalidators of prayer, and the understanding of the differences between conditions, pillars, and Sunnah. These changes also impacted behaviour, as residents became more disciplined, consistent, and devout in performing prayer, while also being able to balance their religious obligations with economic activities. The contribution of this community service lies in strengthening religious literacy based on effective thematic exegesis for rural communities, while also fostering religious character, social cohesion, and the application of religious moderation in daily life.

Figurative language entails expressions not meant to be taken literally but carrying implied meanings that enrich interpretation for readers or listeners. It crucially illustrates action and drama in sports news, engendering a more immersive reading experience and influencing how events are comprehended. This research probes into the use of figurative language, particularly expressions and metaphors, within sports reporting's context. The study’s focal point was the June 1, 2018 edition of the esteemed Indonesian newspaper, Java Pos, renowned for its vibrant sports reporting, particularly in football. Data consisted of expressions and metaphors in the form of verbs, nouns, adjectives, and numerals, sourced from Java Pos' sports reporting (June 1, 2018 edition), especially relating to football. The methodology involved participatory observation reading 7 football-specific sports pieces and scrutinizing each for expressions and metaphors. Additionally, documentation was employed collecting and analyzing articles from the designated edition to assess metaphors and expressions through a figurative language lens. Post data collection, data was condensed and classified by category (nouns, verbs, adjectives, and numerals) then verified and interpreted contextually. Content analysis was applied for data analysis, comprehending the contextual use and its impact on reader comprehension. The findings unveiled the presence of expressions and metaphors, encompassing verb phrases, nouns, adjectives, and numerals, in the news reports. This study uncovers the usage of figurative language, enriching communication, fostering creativity, and contributing to elevated sports reporting quality and deeper audience understanding.

Abstract

This study examines the integrative curriculum management system that combines diniyah and formal education at the Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving members of the Majelis Ilmu (Science Council), educators, and students. The results show that curriculum planning is systematically implemented through a professional Majelis Ilmu (Science Council) consisting of 12 experts, using Focus Group Discussion mechanisms and needs analysis. The organization applies a dual-track structure with the Santri Affairs Division managing the diniyah curriculum and the Formal Division managing the general curriculum, coordinated through the Consultative Assembly. Implementation follows centralized command from the foundation with a phased approach from adapting national standards to pure pesantren products. Evaluation is carried out periodically through monthly reporting using the CIPP model with a single integrated report card format. Key challenges include teacher readiness, duplication of materials, and students' cognitive load, which are addressed through continuous coaching, differentiated material distribution, expert-based governance, and a balanced curriculum approach. The study contributes empirical documentation of deliberative curriculum development in the pesantren context, indigenous knowledge development, and a tri-dimensional holistic evaluation system that integrates religious and academic assessments

Abstract

This study explores the cognitive processes underlying employees’ utterances and conversational dynamics in the specific context of an ATM cash replenishment office from a psycholinguistic perspective. The study's goal is to discover how employees process, organize, and express linguistic information during high-pressure task-oriented interactions. This research adopts a qualitative design. The data consist of employees’ utterances produced in the ATM replenishment office. Data sources include four bank officers, twelve ATM technicians, and ten customers. Data were collected using the participant observation method (simak libat cakap), in which the researcher observed the dynamics and cognitive processes of bank officers’ and ATM employees’ speech through audio recording and note-taking techniques. In-depth interviews were also performed with bank officers, ATM employees, and customers. Following data collection, the analytical process included transcription, data reduction, classification, verification, tabulation, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The study’s result shows that the employees’s turn taking process, repair prosedures, and utterrance production, has influenced by time constraints, institutional norms, and cognitive load. Furthermore, the study indicates how shared mental models and implicit coordination can help sustain efficiency and accuracy in professional interactions. These resukts broaden the application of psycholinguistic research to organizational communication, especially in financial organizations where precision and clarity are crucial. Aside from its theoretical contribution, this study has practical implications for improving communication training, reducing operational errors, and strengthening teamwork in high-stakes operational settings.
