Abstract

Character education in elementary schools is an important foundation in building a young generation that is religious, ethical, and virtuous. The first precept of Pancasila, namely the One Godhead, is the main foundation in instilling moral values, faith, and piety from an early age. The research aims to examine the meaning and role of the first precept of Pancasila in building character education for elementary school students. Using the literature study method, this study analyzes a variety of literature, including books, scientific journals, and relevant official documents. The analysis was carried out descriptively to understand the contribution of the value of the One God in shaping the character of students. The results of the study show that the application of divine values through integration in the curriculum, religious activities, and strengthening a tolerant environment in elementary schools can increase religiosity, ethics, and mutual respect for students. In conclusion, the first precept of Pancasila provides a solid foundation for character formation in elementary schools. For this reason, further support is needed through teacher training and the provision of inclusive educational resources.

Abstract

Digital media education is one of the important solutions in dealing with the negative impact of online games on national values among the younger generation. The background of this research departs from concerns about the influence of online games that contain violence, individualism, and lack of respect for cultural plurality, which can be contrary to Indonesian national values. The purpose of this research is to explore the role of digital media education in preventing these negative impacts and introducing national values through online games. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques, observation, case studies, and focus group discussions. The results of the study show that online games can have a positive or negative impact, depending on the type of game played. Games that contain elements of violence and extreme competition tend to erode national values, while educational games with historical and cultural themes can reinforce national values. Digital media education based on national values has proven to be effective in helping students choose games that educate and introduce Pancasila values. In conclusion, the application of digital media education that is integrated with national values needs to be expanded throughout Indonesia, by involving educators, parents, and the government to create a young generation that is smart in using technology and maintaining national values.

Abstract

Abstract

Pancasila education has a strategic role in shaping the character of the younger generation, especially generation Z, during the challenges of globalization and the development of the digital era. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Pancasila Education in preventing social disintegration that is increasingly rampant due to shifting values, individualism, and social fragmentation. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores the implementation of Pancasila values in the life of generation Z through formal education curriculum and non-formal activities. The results of the study show that the understanding and internalization of Pancasila values can increase collective awareness, social solidarity, and tolerance in the face of diversity. However, challenges in the form of lack of innovation in teaching methods and low active participation of generation Z are obstacles that need to be overcome. Therefore, strengthening Pancasila Education with a relevant and adaptive approach to the needs of generation Z is urgently needed to prevent social disintegration in the digital era.

Abstract

Pancasila education has a strategic role in instilling national values and overcoming moral decadence among Generation Z, especially in the digital era. This research aims to analyze the contribution of Pancasila education in shaping the character and morality of Generation Z, identify the challenges faced in its implementation, and explore the role of family, school, and community as supporters. With a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through literature studies, interviews, and observations. The results of the study show that Pancasila education can strengthen the attitude of nationalism, tolerance, and love for the homeland among Generation Z. However, its implementation faces obstacles in the form of a lack of innovative learning methods, the impact of globalization, and the negative influence of information technology. The family and community play an important role in instilling Pancasila values through democratic parenting and a supportive social environment. This study recommends reforming the Pancasila education curriculum to be more relevant to the digital era, the use of technology-based interactive teaching methods, and collaboration between schools, families, and the community. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a strategic guide to create Generation Z who are characterful, moral, and ready to face global challenges while maintaining national identity.

Abstract

Generation Z as the nation's successor faces moral and ethical challenges during rapid globalization and technological development. This condition raises concerns about the decline in awareness of the noble values of Pancasila, which are the basis of community life. This research aims to analyze the impact of Pancasila values on the moral and ethical growth of Generation Z and explore the optimal strategy to internalize these values in their lives. With a literature study method, this study examines various relevant literature related to the role of Pancasila, morals, ethics, and characteristics of Generation Z. The results of the study show that Pancasila values, such as social justice, humanity, and cooperation, play an important role in shaping the morals and ethics of Generation Z. These values can be a relevant ethical guide to dealing with moral problems, both in the real and digital world. However, the influence of social media and global culture is a major challenge in maintaining their morality. Therefore, an innovative approach is needed in internalizing the values of Pancasila. The role of family, school, and community is very important in building Pancasila-based character. Education based on these noble values needs to be applied to support Generation Z so that they are not only technologically literate, but also have strong moral integrity.

Abstract

Sexual violence is a pressing social issue in Indonesia, including within higher education institutions. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila values in preventing and addressing sexual violence in universities, identify challenges faced, and develop strategic recommendations based on Pancasila principles. The study employs a qualitative approach using literature review and thematic analysis on policies, educational programs, and societal culture. Findings indicate that policies such as Permendikbudristek No. 30 of 2021 and the Sexual Violence Law (UU TPKS) reflect the application of the second and fifth Pancasila principles in providing protection for victims and preventing sexual violence. Character education programs based on Pancasila values in several universities show significant potential in shaping students' moral awareness, although their implementation is uneven. Major challenges include patriarchal norms, social stigma against victims, and limited funding and human resources. The study recommends strengthening policies, equalizing character education, and public awareness campaigns based on Pancasila values to create a safe and dignified educational environment. The implications of this study can serve as a foundation for future policy and strategic program development.

Abstract

This research examines more deeply the analysis of legal certainty for victims of Doni Salmanan's fraud in trading through an application called QUOTEX. In relation to the decision of the Bale Bandung District Court number 576/Pid.Sus/2022/PN BlB, in which the Panel of Judges gave a verdict of imprisonment and confiscation of assets owned by the defendant generated through trading by utilizing his victims for profit and the assets were confiscated by the state. However, in the verdict there was no decision at all to provide compensation to the victim of Doni Salmanan's fraud, in this case the element of legal justice for the victim was not fulfilled by this decision. However, the aspect of legal certainty for the victim is very strong so that the defendant gets a death sentence and a fine for his actions. The legal certainty in question is a guarantee that the law is carried out properly in processing the rights and obligations of the defendant for his crime. Material law as an element of legal certainty has been carried out and linked to various laws and regulations relating to the case. Law No. 8/1999 on Consumer Protection for the losses suffered by the victim as a consumer, Law No. 19/2016 on the Amendment to Law No. 11/2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions because the case involved electronic networking devices, and Law No. 8/2010 on the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering because in the prosecution the defendant was deemed to have disguised his wealth generated through criminal acts.

Restitution as referred to in this study is the provision of material from the perpetrator to the victim for his crime because he committed sexual violence which caused the victim to experience physical and psychological suffering, to restore the condition and condition of the victim after the crime, the perpetrator must provide restitution to the victim, the amount of restitution determined by court ruling. In protecting victims of sexual violence to avoid all forms of threats and intimidation, Indonesia has institutions to carry out their obligations. Namely, through the Witness and Victim Protection Agency whose duties, functions and authorities have been granted in accordance with the law. This aims to protect victims who are very vulnerable to all forms of threats and intimidation. Legal protection was also given before the crime occurred, namely by Law no. 12 of 2022 concerning Crimes of Sexual Violence, Law no. 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, and Law no. 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence. Someone who commits a crime of sexual violence will receive legal consequences, in the form of imprisonment, fines, and restitution to the victim, the amount of which is determined by the court. However, if restitution is insufficient, the State is obliged to provide compensation to the victim for the lack of restitution given to the victim.
