Abstract

Desa Pancana merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Tanete Rilau Kabupaten Barru. Desa Pancana berada di 100km arah utara kota Makassar. Secara geografis Desa Pancana berada di daerah pesisir berhadapan langsung dengan selat Makassar. Jumlah penduduk desa Pancana mencapai 3.756 jiwa. Sebagai daerah pesisir profesi utama penduduk Desa Pancana sebagai mata pencarian mereka adalah nelayan dan sebagian sebagai petani penggarap sawah. Permasalahan pangan yang dialami oleh masyarakat desa Pancana adalah kurangnya ketersediaan sayuran untuk konsumsi sehari-hari. Faktor utama penyebab tidak adanya persediaan sayuran di desa Pancana pesisir adalah tidak adanya lahan bercocok tanam. Hal tersebut disebabkan kondisi fisik lahan mudah tererosi, berkapur dan mengandung kadar garam yang tinggi, sehingga tidak memungkinkan lahan tersebut untuk ditanami tanaman khususnya sayur sayuran. Selama ini, pemenuhan kebutuhan sayur warga desa Pancana hanya bergantung pada pedagang dari luar karena jauhnya akses ke dusun tersebut mengakibatkan harga beli sayur tersebut 2 kali lebih mahal dari harga normal. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan sayuran warga desa Pancana, diperlukan upaya penerapan teknologi sederhana bercocok tanam di daerah pesisir. Upaya tersebut dilakukan melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat Pancana oleh mahasiswa. Adapun program pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir Pancana yang dilaksanakan adalah (1) Penyuluhan Budidaya Tanaman Sayuran bagi warga Pesisir Pancana, (2) Pelatihan pembuatan hidroponik alir dan hidroponik apung bagi warga pesisir Pancana, dan (3) Pelatihan budidaya tanaman sayuran dengan system hidroponik pada kelompok-kelompok rumah tangga.

Abstract

The Human Development Index in Mamuju Regency has increased every year from the last seven years and data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for Mamuju Regency in 2022 with a score of (68.88%), this value is a high value of the Human Development Index (IPM) ) in Mamuju Regency compared to several areas in West Sulawesi Province. In Mamuju Regency, in the last seven years, poverty and economic growth have fluctuated every year. Based on data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, the Human Development Index (IPM) in Mamuju Regency has increased significantly from year to year, but there are still several social and economic problems, especially the problem of poverty that needs to be prioritized in Mamuju Regency, so that all can receive a decent standard of living. This research was conducted in Mamuju Regency. The research method used is a quantitative method, namely a research method in which the presentation of data is dominated in the form of numbers using secondary data obtained from the office of the Central Bureau of Statistics of Mamuju Regency. Using documentation data collection methods and field studies. Data analysis methods Multiple linear regression, t test, F test, Coefficient of Determination. The results of the T test revealed that the variables of Poverty and Economic Growth had a partial effect on the Human Development Index in Mamuju Regency. The results of the F test show that the variables Poverty and Economic Growth simultaneously influence the Human Development Index in Mamuju Regency.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Direct Cash Assistance (Bantuan Langsung Tunai/BLT) on community welfare in Pa’rappunganta Village, Polongbangkeng Utara District, Takalar Regency, Indonesia. Despite the widespread implementation of BLT as a social protection instrument, empirical evidence on its effectiveness in improving long-term welfare at the village level remains limited. This research aims to analyze the extent to which BLT contributes to community welfare and to identify its practical limitations. A qualitative research approach was employed, using primary and secondary data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. Informants consisted of BLT recipients, village officials, and community representatives selected purposively based on their involvement in the program. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis with triangulation to ensure validity and reliability. The findings reveal that BLT provides short-term financial relief and helps households meet basic consumption needs, particularly during periods of economic vulnerability. However, the assistance does not significantly improve long-term welfare, income stability, or quality of life, nor does it effectively reduce poverty levels. This limitation is mainly due to the temporary nature of the program and the absence of complementary empowerment or income-generating initiatives. The study contributes to the literature on social assistance by highlighting the gap between short-term aid effectiveness and sustainable welfare improvement. Policy implications suggest that BLT should be integrated with productive economic programs to achieve more sustainable social welfare outcomes.

Abstract

Algebra is a fundamental element in developing abstract thinking abilities and problem-solving skills. However, for many secondary school students, it becomes one of the most challenging areas of mathematics learning. This article seeks to investigate the main factors contributing to students’ low mastery of algebraic concepts while also offering relevant pedagogical approaches. Based on a review of various literature sources, it is identified that difficulties in learning algebra arise from a combination of factors, both internal such as weak prerequisite knowledge and low learning motivation and external such as unvaried teaching strategies and limited use of visual media. To address these issues, this article proposes a Technology-Supported Collaborative Learning model as an alternative solution. The integration of social interaction within group collaboration and technology-based visualization is believed to strengthen conceptual understanding, enhance student engagement, and reduce anxiety in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of flashcard media on students’ learning outcomes and learning activities in the teaching of Asmaul Husna at SMP Negeri 5 Palopo. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: class VII A as the experimental group and class VII B as the control group, each with 27 students. The instruments used were learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest) and student activity observation sheets. The results showed that the use of flashcard media significantly improved students’ learning outcomes. The average posttest score of the experimental group was 83.70, higher than the control group's score of 71.29. Furthermore, the learning activity of students in the experimental class was categorized as very good with an average percentage of 96.19%. Thus, flashcard media is effective for Islamic religious education, particularly in teaching Asmaul Husna.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work-life balance, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on the productivity of female employees at UPT RSUD Haji Makassar. Type this research is quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis to test the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable. The study involved 87 respondents who were female employees at UPT RSUD Haji Makassar, selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using SPSS software. The results show that work-life balance, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction each have a positive and significant effect on the productivity of female employees. Furthermore, simultaneously, all three variables have a positive and significant effect on the productivity of female employees at UPT RSUD Haji Makassar. These findings indicate that a balanced work and personal life, strong organizational commitment, and high job satisfaction play an important role in improving the productivity of female employees in the hospital environment.

Abstract

Mathematical creative thinking skills are an important competency in 21st century mathematics learning, but they are still relatively low due to the dominance of routine procedure-oriented learning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning Model (JUCAMA) in improving students' mathematical creative thinking skills. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach to relevant national journal articles published in the last eleven years. The analysis was conducted through a process of identification, selection, evaluation, and synthesis of research findings to obtain a comprehensive picture. The results of the study show that the consistent application of the JUCAMA model has a positive impact on improving mathematical creative thinking skills at various levels of education, as demonstrated by the development of indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration in solving and posing mathematical problems. In addition, the effectiveness of the model is optimized when supported by appropriate learning tools and media. Thus, JUCAMA can be used as an alternative innovative learning model oriented towards developing student creativity in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom model on mathematics learning time management through a literature review approach. The research method used is a literature review by analyzing and synthesizing findings from ten relevant studies published between 2020 and 2025, obtained from the Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar databases. The results of the study show that the consistent application of the Flipped Classroom is able to optimize the use of face-to-face time by shifting the delivery of material to independent learning before class, so that class time can be focused on discussion, problem solving, and deepening concepts. In addition to increasing time efficiency, this model also contributes positively to student active engagement, concept understanding, learning achievement, and interest in mathematics. However, several challenges in its implementation were also identified, including the high time requirement for material preparation, limited guidance during independent learning, and dependence on technological readiness. Overall, the Flipped Classroom is an effective learning alternative to support mathematics learning time management when designed and implemented appropriately.
