Abstract

Abstract

Climate change poses a significant global challenge, particularly for archipelagic nations such as Indonesia that are highly vulnerable to rising temperatures and extreme weather events. This study applies machine learning-based sentiment analysis to assess Indonesian public opinion on climate change using Twitter data. A total of 5,120 Indonesian-language tweets were collected through keyword-based scraping related to climate and weather conditions. Following text preprocessing (lowercasing, stopword removal, stemming, and cleaning), TF-IDF vectorization was used to extract the top 400 most significant terms. The dataset was divided into training (80%) and testing (20%) subsets, and a Multinomial Naïve Bayes classifier was trained to categorize sentiments into positive, neutral, and negative classes. The results show a dominance of negative sentiment (62%), primarily associated with extreme heat and storm-related events, while neutral (24%) and positive (14%) sentiments were linked to moderate weather conditions. Model evaluation achieved an F1-score of 0.95 for negative, 0.86 for neutral, and 0.83 for positive sentiment, yielding a macro-average F1-score of 0.88. The analysis also identified “panas (hot),” “hujan (rain),” and “banjir (flood)” as top lexical indicators influencing classification. Overall, the findings highlight that Indonesian public sentiment toward climate change is highly reactive to extreme weather. The study underscores the potential of Naïve Bayes as a baseline model for real-time environmental sentiment monitoring, offering valuable insights for institutions such as BMKG to enhance public communication and climate awareness strategies.

Abstract

This article aims to present a comprehensive study on convolutional autoencoders for advanced anomaly detection in ECG signals. Anomaly detection in complex datasets has become increasingly critical due to the rising need for systems that can effectively identify irregularities that may indicate fraud, system failures, or significant deviations from normal operations. Traditional methods often need help capturing nuanced patterns in high-dimensional data, necessitating more sophisticated approaches. This research uses an autoencoder-based model as a robust solution for anomaly detection, utilizing its capability to learn high-level representations in an unsupervised manner. The proposed model uses a convolutional autoencoder architecture to compress and decompress input data, thus highlighting anomalies through reconstruction errors. We outline detailed experiment strategies, including model training on average data to minimize reconstruction loss, setting an optimal threshold for anomaly sensitivity based on validation loss, and evaluating the model using precision, recall, F1-score, and AUC-ROC metrics. These experiments were conducted using a dataset with labeled normal and abnormal instances, allowing precise tuning and assessment of model performance. The results indicate that the autoencoder discriminates between normal and abnormal data, achieving high precision and recall at 99.22% and 98.98%, respectively. The confusion matrix and loss distribution analysis further validate the model's efficacy, clearly distinguishing between normal and abnormal data loss values concerning the defined threshold. This research shows the autoencoder model demonstrates high accuracy in anomaly detection and offers insights into the types of anomalies it can detect, supporting its application across various domains requiring reliable anomaly identification.

Abstract

The management activity of research report writing requires sufficient knowledge in its preparation. A researcher must learn about the management of understanding scientific concepts, as well as management of research reports that are based on scientific truth. In this study, 1 (one) method was used, namely a literature study of 10 (ten) to support the understanding of scientific concepts according to experts. The concept is a general idea that represents perceived understanding on the basis of reason and logic by someone who then forms a meaning deductively or inductively. Whereas knowledge is what is known or the results of work know. Then scientific truth is related to the quality of knowledge, where every knowledge possessed is viewed from the type of knowledge that is built. Thus scientific truth is an important point in scientific reporting, as the basic foundation of accurate management of report writing and must be displayed in every corner of the report. It is hoped that this research can assist researchers in compiling research reports. Keywords: Management, Science, Scientific Truth, Research Reports.

Abstract

In economics management is needed periodic data (time series) from production effort in predicting continuation of a situation is action which at one time must be done. For economic or political experts, it seems to be an obligation that must be carried out when they find a situation say just the economic crisis that befell a country with great, to provide predictive reviews about how the impact will be on the continuation of the existence of that country. So from that the aim of this research is to discuss about conceptual and conceptual aspects about periodic data, calculation of straight line trends through free method, half moving average, half average and least number of squares, non linear trend calculation which is trend parabola and exponential trends, calculations for changing trend equations into quarterly and monthly trends, calculations for changing trend equations into average trends, calculating seasonal variation values through simple average methods, ratio to trend, ratio of moving averages and relative berangkai, and calculation of cyclic variation values for annual and quarterly data. The method used during this study took place, namely using a literature study method which functions so that in research, researchers continue to add insight.

Abstract

The electric vehicle (EV) market has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years, largely fueled by technological advancements, increasing environmental concerns, and supportive government policies. However, this growth presents a challenge: effectively reaching and engaging diverse consumer segments within the EV market. To address this, our study employs advanced clustering analysis to segment the EV market using a comprehensive dataset from Washington state, which includes vehicle characteristics such as model year, electric range, and geographic distribution. Through this analysis, we identified four distinct clusters within the EV market. Clusters 2 and 3 are characterized by high-end, newer EV models with extended electric ranges, predominantly located in affluent urban and suburban areas. These clusters are likely composed of environmentally conscious consumers who are early adopters of advanced technologies. In contrast, Clusters 0 and 1 consist of older EV models with shorter electric ranges, appealing to a more budget-conscious demographic spread across various geographic regions, including rural areas. The insights gained from these clusters have significant implications for digital marketing strategies in the EV sector. For Clusters 2 and 3, digital marketing campaigns should focus on highlighting the luxury, cutting-edge technology, and sustainability features of premium EV models, using targeted online advertising and social media engagement. For Clusters 0 and 1, marketing efforts should emphasize the practicality, cost-effectiveness, and everyday usability of EVs, addressing potential concerns such as charging infrastructure and range anxiety. The study demonstrates the critical importance of market segmentation in crafting effective digital marketing strategies that resonate with specific consumer groups. By leveraging data-driven insights, marketers can enhance engagement, drive higher conversion rates, and ultimately accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles. Future research should explore broader datasets and additional variables to further refine these segmentation strategies and support the evolving needs of the global EV market.
