Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengisolasi alfa-selulosa, yang merupakan bahan baku pembuatan selulosa asetat, dari batang pisang klutuk (Musa balbisiana Colla) melalui proses pelarutan-pengendapan, bleaching, dan pengeringan. Proses pelarutan dan pengendapan menggunakan larutan NaOH, dan larutan H2O2 dalam proses bleaching-nya. Variabel yang dipelajari mencakup variasi ukuran serbuk batang pisang (70, 100 mesh), rasio massa serbuk (3, 6, 9, 12 gram) dengan volume pelarut NaOH 17,5% (100 mL), serta konsentrasi larutan H2O2 (3,6,9, 12%). Hasil terbaik pengendapan mendapatkan alfa-selulosa sebanyak 1,726 gram dari serbuk 6 gram ukuran 70 mesh (recovery 28,77%). Hasil terbaik proses bleaching mendapatkan recovery alfa-selulosa relatif murni sebesar 30,36% pada konsentrasi larutan H2O2 3%. Alfa-selulosa hasil bleaching merupakan bahan baku pembuatan selulosa asetat kualitas terbaik. Kata kunci : alfa-selulosa, bleaching, H2O2,NaOH, pengendapan

Abstract

Recently the condition of agriculture in Indonesia needs to be addressed. Soil fertility getting damaged due to chemical fertilizer that is not impartial. In addition, the impact of excessive use of synthetic pesticides can cause damage to the ecosystem. Control of plant diseases using biological agents began getting attention because of public concerns due to the use of synthetic chemical pesticides. Biological agents are microorganisms,  both  naturally  occurring  such  as  bacteria,  fungi,  viruses  and protozoa, as well as the results of genetic engineering that are used to control plantpests. Madrasah Diniyah Jumapolo, Karanganyar, has pioneered the manufacture of biological agents to support organic farming although on a small scale. Community service activities undertaken to provide assistance in the improvement of the production process  and  management  improvements.  The  technology  developed  is  the  use  ofbiological pesticides agent isolated from Beauveria bassiana and Trichoderma sp. As a natural insecticide and fungicide. The activities received support from the madrasa and expressed successfully produce biological agents in the proper packaging. In addition to the consumption of madrasa and nearby farmers, pesticide product ofbiological agents is also sold to the public. The selling of products will increase the development of organic farming to produce healthy food also will gain additional income for the madrasa.

Abstract

This study discusses parenting styles in assisting students’ learning with blended learning model in RA. Sunan Ampel, Pasuruan. During the Covid-19 pandemi, RA Sunan Ampel implemented a blended learning model by combining online and offline learning. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire distributed online to 11 parents of RA students as respondents. The results showed that almost parents have a authoritative parenting style indicated by parents’ attitude in engaging children to learning while playing. Meanwhile, such parents also applied permissive parenting characterized by parents’ intervention on children’s activites and no force for children to learn. Besides that, parents with authoritarian showed that they obey strict rules and punishments when children broke the rules. Above all, such uninvolved parenting implemented during the covid-19 indicated by negligent attitude of parents in engaging students’ learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pelestarian monumen Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pakis Baru Kecamatan Nawangan Kabupaten Pacitan selama enam bulan. Data diperoleh dari sumber primer dan sumber skunder. Teknik pengambilan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif model interaktif. Objek penelitian adalah masyarakat Desa Pakis Baru dengan mengambil sampel aparat pemerintah, penjaga monumen, masyarakat sekitar monumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran masyarakat Desa Pakis Baru dalam melestarikan monumen Jenderal Soedirman masih sangat rendah. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang arti pentingnya peninggalan sejarah, masyarakat yang bersifat materialistik, masyarakat yang cenderung menunggu perintah aparat desa, kurangnya sosialisasi tentang pentingnya peninggalan sejarah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran PAI bagi tunalaras di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Klas I Tangerang, apa faktor pendukung dan penghambat nya, serta bagaimana upaya mengatasi faktor penghambat nya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan teknik triangulasi, yang meliputi reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Implementasi pembelajaran PAI bagi tunalaras di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Klas I Tangerang menggunakan sistem pembelajaran klasikal dan kelompok dengan model pengembangan kurikulum yang fleksibel yaitu model substitusi dan omisi. Metode pembelajarannya ceramah, tanya jawab, demonstrasi, dan diskusi. Evaluasi pembelajarannya mencakup penilaian sumatif dan formatif. 2) Faktor pendukung implementasi pembelajaran PAI bagi tunalaras di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Klas I Tangerang adalah sarana prasarana, adanya tenaga relawan, kerjasama dengan pihak di luar LPKA, dan bantuan dana BOS dari pemerintah. Faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya tenaga pengajar, dukungan dari orang tua, dan latar belakang kasus anak yang beragam, 3) Upaya untuk mengatasi faktor penghambat yaitu dengan melibatkan tenaga relawan, mengadakan kegiatan keagamaan, membuat surat perjanjian dengan orang tua, dan kesabaran serta keikhlasan para petugas.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di Politeknik RS dr. Soepraoen Malang yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan, citra perguruan tinggi, motivasi dan prospek ke arah keputusan mahasiswa dalam memilih kuliah di dr politeknik. Soepraoen Malang dan untuk mengetahui variabel yang dominan yang mempengaruhi keputusan mahasiswa dalam memilih dr politeknik. Soepraoen. Dengan menggunakan teknik jenis sampling probabilitis pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling sederhana sebanyak 55 responden sebagai perwakilan dari populasi keputusan mahasiswa dalam memilih kuliah di dr politeknik. Soepraoen Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dibantu program komputer SPPS for windows dapat ditarik kesimpulan dan persamaan yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan dapat terdiri dari beberapa persamaan regresi linier sebagai berikut: Y = 16,542+ 0,300X1 + 0,046X2 - 0,405X3 - 0026 X4 + e. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa masing-masing variabel independen, faktor lingkungan dan citra universitas parsial, memiliki efek positif. Faktor lingkungan, citra perguruan tinggi, motivasi dan prospek secara bersamaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan siswa dalam memilih perguruan tinggi di Politeknik RS dr. Soepraoen Malang. variabel lingkungan, citra perguruan tinggi, motivasi dan prospek mampu memberikan kontribusi 21,6% terhadap variabel keputusan, sehingga sisanya ditentukan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Kata Kunci: Lingkungan, Citra Pendidikan Tinggi, Motivasi, Prospek, Keputusan ABSTRACT This research was conducted at the Polytechnic dr. Soepraoen Malang which aims to identify and analyze the influence of the environment, the image of higher education, motivation and prospects towards the decision in choosing a college student at the Polytechnic dr. Soepraoen Malang and to determine the dominant variable influencing the decision polytechnic students in choosing dr. Soepraoen. By using the technique of sampling probabilities sampling using simple random sampling as 55 respondents representative of the population in the student's decision to study at the Polytechnic dr. Soepraoen Malang. The results show based on the results of research and discussion by using multiple linear regression analysis computer program assisted SPPS for Windows can be deduced and the equation obtained from the calculation results can be comprised of multiple linear regression equation as follows: Y = 16,542+ 0,300X1 + 0,046X2 - 0,405X3 - 0026 X4 + e. The results of this study concluded that each independent variable, environmental factors and the partial image of the university, has a positive effect. Environmental factors, the image of higher education, motivation and prospects simultaneously have a significant influence on the decision in choosing a college student at the Polytechnic dr. Soepraoen Malang. Environment variables, the image of the college, motivation and prospects are able to contribute 21.6% of the decision variables, so the determined by other variables not examined. Abstract

Coal tar can be used as an alternative raw material for the production of liquid fuels, such as: gasoline and diesel through hydrogenation and cracking process. Hydrogenation and cracking process requires a catalyst which has metal components for hydrogenation reaction and acid components for cracking reaction. In this study, the Co/Zeolite Y and Co-Mo/Zeolite Y catalysts were prepared by impregnation and ion exchange methods. Characterizations of the catalysts were carried out by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and gravimetric acidity. The catalysts were tested for coal tar conversion to liquid fuel under various temperatures, amount of catalyst and hydrogen flow rates in a fixed bed flow reaction system. Liquid fuels products were analyzed by gas chromatography (GC). The XRD Spectra indicated that the addition of Co and Mo metals did not affect catalysts structure, however it alters the percentage of crystallinity. The addition of Co metal using impregnation method caused reduction in crystallinity, while the addition of Mo caused improvement of crystallinity. The Co-Mo/Zeolite Y catalyst with highest crystallinity was obtained by loading using ion exchange method. The addition of Co and Mo metals caused increasing acidity. However, the increasing composition of Co and Mo loaded on Zeolite Y catalyst decreased the yield of liquid fuels from coal tar. It can be concluded that the yields of liquid fuels and the composition of gasoline fractions from hydrocracking of coal tar were highly dependent on  acidity of the catalyst.

Abstract

A series of fly ash-based heterogeneous acid catalysts were prepared by chemical and thermal treatment. Fly ash was chemically activated using sulfuric acid and followed by thermal activation. Characterization methods of XRD, BET, SEM-EDX, and the performance in esterification of eugenyl acetate production was carried out to reveal the physical and chemical characteristics of prepared catalysts. Activated catalyst showed high silica content (96.5%) and high BET surface area of 70 m2.g-1. The catalyst was proven to be highly active solid acid catalyst for liquid phase esterification of eugenol with acetic acid yielding eugenyl acetate. A yield of 43-48% was obtained with activated fly ash catalysts for 90 minutes reaction. These catalysts may replace beneficially the conventional homogenous liquid acid to the eco-friendly heterogeneous one.

Abstract

Even though platinum is known as an active electro-catalyst for ethanol oxidation at low temperatures (< 100 oC), choosing the electrode material for ethanol electro-oxidation is a crucial issue. It is due to its property which easily poisoned by a strong adsorbed species such as CO. PtSn-based electro-catalysts have been identified as better catalysts for ethanol electro-oxidation. The third material is supposed to improved binary catalysts performance. This work presents a study of the ethanol electro-oxidation on carbon supported Pt-Sn and Pt-Sn-Ni catalysts. These catalysts were prepared by alcohol reduction. Nano-particles with diameters between 2.5-5.0 nm were obtained. The peak of (220) crystalline face centred cubic (fcc) Pt phase for PtSn and PtSnNi alloys was repositioned due to the presence of Sn and/or Ni in the alloy. Furthermore, the modification of Pt with Sn and SnNi improved ethanol and CO electro-oxidation.
