Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of teaching the Fathul Qorib book in instilling the values of waqf optimization at the Raudlatul Muhibbin Al-Mustainiyyah Islamic Boarding School in Surakarta. The method applied in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The findings show that the boarding school not only transfers theoretical knowledge of waqf fiqh, but also successfully encourages the internalization of values through a contextual approach. The educational process links classical concepts in Fathul Qorib, such as habs al-ashl wa tasbil al-tsamarah (retaining the principal and distributing the proceeds), with modern ideas such as productive waqf and social investment. The process of internalizing values takes place through three stages: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, which prepare students not only with a deep understanding of the law but also with vision, creativity, and managerial skills to become skilled nazhir (waqf managers). Thus, Islamic boarding schools play a role in producing prospective nazhir who are able to optimize waqf as a sustainable economic tool, without deviating from the basic principles of fiqh.

Abstract

Early sleeping habits play an important role in improving the quality of students' learning concentration. This study aims to compare the impact of early sleeping habits and staying up late habits on the learning concentration of grade IX students at SMP Al Ikhlash Lumajang in the 2024/2025 academic year. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and observations of 32 students who were divided based on their sleep patterns. The results showed that students who went to bed early (before 22.00) had an average learning concentration level of 85%, while students who often stayed up late (after 24.00) only reached 60%. These findings indicate that sleep duration and quality have a significant effect on students' cognitive abilities, especially concentration during learning. The implications of this study support the importance of healthy sleep habits as a strategy to improve the quality of education

Abstract

The aims of this study is to produce android-based learning media on building materials to explore spatial abilities and to determine the quality of the effectiveness of students' spatial abilities after using these learning media. The research subjects were material experts, media experts, mathematics teachers and 25 students of MTs Al-Ishlah Cihaurbeuti class VIII. The research method used is R&D with Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) model. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, unstructured interviews, tests and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the instruments used are spatial ability test questions, material expert validation sheets and media experts, student and teacher response questionnaires. This study resulted in an android-based learning media that was packaged in the form of an application (.apk) on solid figure material to explore spatial abilities and was in the valid category very suitable for use for junior high school students. The resulting product is effective for exploring spatial abilities as seen from the calculation of Effect Size with a value of 1.32 in the "strong effect" category. This means that the learning media can be used as a learning resource to support mathematics learning in solid figure materials.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini merupakan penerapan studi tentang fenomena stunting sebagai permasalahan kesehatan dan pembangunan manusia yang bersifat multidimensional. Stunting tidak hanya berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik anak, tetapi juga memengaruhi aspek biologis, psikologis, dan sosial. Dari sisi biologis, stunting menghambat pertumbuhan dan potensi kesehatan optimal. Secara psikologis, stunting dapat menurunkan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan mental individu. Sementara itu, dari aspek sosial, stunting berpotensi memperlebar kesenjangan sosial, membatasi akses pendidikan, serta mengurangi peluang ekonomi di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, stunting tidak dapat dipandang semata sebagai masalah medis, melainkan sebagai isu pembangunan manusia yang memerlukan pendekatan lintas sektoral. Pengabdian ini bertujuan menerapkan pendekatan psikoedukasi sebagai instrumen utama untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, sikap, dan perilaku kader, ibu hamil, ibu menyusui, serta keluarga yang memiliki balita. Pendekatan psikoedukasi dirancang secara holistik untuk mendukung upaya pencegahan dan penanganan stunting pada 30 keluarga dengan balita stunting sebagai sasaran kegiatan. Melalui pendekatan ini, pengabdian tidak hanya berfokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan, tetapi juga penguatan keterampilan psikomotorik, pengembangan empati, dan kesadaran afektif terhadap permasalahan stunting. Pelaksanaan pengabdian melibatkan kolaborasi antara kader kesehatan, ibu hamil, ibu menyusui, keluarga balita stunting, tenaga kesehatan seperti bidan desa, serta pemangku kebijakan di tingkat lokal guna menjamin keberlanjutan program. Selain itu, penguatan ekonomi keluarga dilakukan melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan berupa keterampilan pembuatan handycraft, pengemasan produk, dan pemasaran daring berbasis UMKM. Pendekatan ini disesuaikan dengan potensi dan sumber daya lokal, serta didukung pendampingan pemasaran melalui kerja sama dengan Dinas Koperasi, UMKM, dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Temanggung.

Abstract

Mineral blok merupakan suplemen pakan ternak yang mengandung mineral dan vitamin esensial untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ternak ruminansia. Kelompok tani di Desa Wonodoyo menghadapi permasalahan ketergantungan pada pakan komersial yang mahal dan keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang pembuatan pakan suplemen mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis kepada kelompok tani dalam pembuatan mineral blok sebagai upaya meningkatkan efisiensi pakan dan produktivitas ternak. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung pembuatan mineral blok dengan melibatkan 40 anggota kelompok tani. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 85% dan kemampuan praktik mencapai 90%. Peserta mampu membuat mineral blok dengan komposisi yang tepat menggunakan bahan lokal seperti dedak, molase, garam, dan premiks mineral. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kemandirian peternak dalam penyediaan pakan suplemen berkualitas dengan biaya produksi 40% lebih murah dibandingkan produk komersial. Implementasi mineral blok buatan sendiri diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas ternak dan kesejahteraan ekonomi peternak di Desa Wonodoyo.

Abstract

Tobacco use remains a significant public health issue in Indonesia. Adolescents are considered capable of making their own decisions, including the choice to smoke. According to the Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS) 2021, the smoking prevalence in Indonesia is 33.5%, equivalent to 68.8 million people. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing smoking behavior among adolescents. The results of this study emphasize the importance of greater attention and action to smoking prevention efforts among adolescents, especially among males and those in the older age group. The interventions focused on health education and raising awareness of the dangers of smoking which need to be enhanced, as well as involving family and schools to create a supportive environment therefore the adolescents can make healthier decisions. Furthermore, these results can serve as a basis for the development of more effective policies to address the issue of smoking among adolescents in Indonesia. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. A total of 5,181 respondents were selected using simple random sampling, and data were collected using a questionnaire. The findings reveal that daily smoking behavior among adolescents is still relatively high, with 11.7% of respondents smoking every day. The majority of respondents were male (70.78%), with the largest age groups being 15 years (21.3%) and 14 years (20.6%). Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test indicated a significant relationship between smoking behavior and both age and gender, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). These results suggest that male adolescents and older age groups are more likely to engage in smoking behavior than their counterparts.

Abstract

Low Birth Weight (LBW) refers to infants born with a birth weight of less than 2,500 grams and remains an important issue in neonatal health due to its association with increased neonatal morbidity and mortality. To analyze the determinants of LBW based on primary studies published from 2021 to 2026. A literature review was conducted using the PRISMA approach. Article searches were performed through PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest using the keywords low birth weight, determinant factors, risk factors, BBLR, and faktor risiko with Boolean operators AND/OR. The inclusion criteria were primary studies, full-text availability, publication in Indonesian or English, and publication years from 2021 to 2026. A total of 20 articles were included, consisting of 15 international articles and 5 national sources. The review showed that LBW is influenced by interrelated maternal, nutritional, obstetric, and sociodemographic factors during pregnancy. The most dominant factors included multiple pregnancy with an adjusted OR of 21.74, maternal food insecurity with an AOR of 6.85, maternal hemoglobin level <11 g/dL with an AOR of 5.21, lack of iron-folic acid supplementation with an AOR of 4.17, maternal age ≤20 years with an AOR of 3.42, pregnancy interval <1 year with an adjusted OR of 2.92, missed antenatal care visits with an AOR of 2.74, smoking during pregnancy with an OR of 2.18, and maternal hypertension with an AOR of 1.94. LBW is influenced by multiple interrelated factors; therefore, efforts to reduce its incidence should focus on evidence-based interventions, particularly through optimizing antenatal care services, improving maternal nutritional status, and early detection of pregnancy.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the integrative role of financial literacy, financial technology, and digital accounting on the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through a literature review approach. The method used was a qualitative-descriptive literature review by analyzing 30 SCOPUS-indexed international journal articles (Q1, Q2, and Q3) that were relevant to the research topic. The analysis process is carried out through data extraction, thematic grouping, and narrative synthesis to identify patterns of relationships between variables. The results of the study show that financial literacy plays a role as a foundation in financial decision-making and management, financial technology functions as an enabler in improving the efficiency and access to financial services, and digital accounting contributes to improving the quality of financial information and decision-making. These three variables interact with each other and form integrative relationships in influencing the performance of MSMEs. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integrative approach between financial literacy, financial technology, and digital accounting provides a more comprehensive understanding in explaining the performance of MSMEs compared to the partial approach. This research contributes to the development of literature related to MSMEs in the digital era and becomes the basis for further research.

Abstract

Background: Cervical cancer remains a major health problem among women dueto low awareness of early detection. The Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (IVA) test is a simple and effective screening method. Health education is needed to improve understanding and encourage early detection behavior. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effect of health education about cervical cancer on IVA detection behavior among women of reproductive age in Bilutan Rejosari Village. Method: This study employed a Quasi-Experimental design with a Pretest–Posttest Group Design. The study population consisted of 150 women of reproductive age (15–49 years). Samples were selected using purposive sampling, resulting in a total of 66 respondents. Result: a significant difference between IVA detection behavior scores before and after the intervention (p-value = 0.000). A p-value < 0.05 indicates that the health education provided regarding cervical cancer significantly improved IVA detection behavior among women of reproductive age in Bilutan Rejosari Village. Conclusion: Health education has a significant effect on improving early detection behavior of cervical cancer through the IVA examination.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to address the problem of low student mathematics learning outcomes is to apply a model/strategy that can improve mathematics learning outcomes. So this study aims to examine and find out how the learning process using image media improves learning outcomes in mathematics on multiplication material. The type of research conducted was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with data analysis techniques using a quantitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were grade 2 elementary school students at SDN SUDIMARA 2. The results of this study indicated that there was an increase in learning outcomes in teaching effectiveness.
