Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Work Motivation and Discipline on Employee Performance partially and simultaneously at PT Barata Indonesia. This research method uses quantitative analysis methods, namely using 70 respondents. Data analysis techniques in this research are using instrument tests, validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, as well as hypotheses using the t test and f test. Regression equation Y = 14.598 + 0.258X1 + 0.436X2. The correlation coefficient value obtained was 0.753, meaning that the independent variable and the dependent variable had a very strong level of influence with a coefficient of determination or simultaneous influence of 55.5%, while the remaining 44.5% was influenced by variables not examined in this research. The partial hypothetical results of the motivation variable (X1) obtained a value of tcount > ttable (7.409 > 1.995), this was also strengthened by a significant value of 0.000 < 0.005. Thus motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. The work discipline variable (X2) obtained a value of tcount > ttable (8.647 > 1.995), this was also confirmed by a significant value of 0.000 < 0.005. Thus, work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of the simultaneous analysis, the value Fcount > Ftable or (43.958 > 3.130) is obtained. This is also reinforced by the probability significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted. This means that there is a significant simultaneous influence between Work Motivation and Work Discipline on employee performance at PT Barata Indonesia.

Abstract

Kekerasan terhadap perempuan merupakakn masalah serius yang harus disikapi dengan baik, yang dimana mempengaruhi kehidupan sosial dan kesejahteraan perempuan di berbagai daerah, termasuk Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Data didalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari Dinas Sosial, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Kabupten Muaro Jambi yang mencatat kasus kekerasan terhadap perempuan Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggali pola, faktor penyebab, dan dampak kekerasan terhadap perempuan di wilayah tersebut. Selain itu, aplikasi Weka digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh guna mengidentifikasi pola-pola yang ada dalam kasus kekerasan, serta untuk membuat model prediksi berdasarkan data yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai situasi kekerasan terhadap perempuan di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan kebijakan perlindungan perempuan dan anak, khususnya dalam pencegahan dan penanganan kasus kekerasan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bukti empiris reaksi investor pasar modal Indonesia terhadap peristiwa pengumuman pelantikan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden tahun 2024. Populasi penelitian ini adalah saham-saham yang konsisten terdaftar dalam indeks LQ 45 selama periode penelitian. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa harga penutupan saham harian dan IHSG. Uji statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah one samples t-test dan paired samples t test. Hasil perhitungan one samples t-test menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat rerata return tidak normal positif yang signifikan di sekitar tanggal peristiwa, yang berarti investor tidak merespon peristiwa pengumuman pelantikan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden tahun 2024. Hasil uji paired samples t test membuktikan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan rerata return tidak normal maupun rerata trading volume activity antara sebelum dan setelah peristiwa.

Abstract

BACKGROUND Stroke is the third leading cause of morbidity and second in mortality worldwide. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a risk factor for stroke. Vaspin and single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs2236242 involved DM pathogenesis. This study aimed to explore the correlation between SNP rs2236242, serum vaspin levels, and atherosclerosis in patients with ischemic stroke and DM. METHODS This study was conducted in Dr. Moewardi Hospital from 2022 to 2023. The case group included patients with ischemic stroke and DM, while the controls were those with ischemic stroke only. Tetra-primer amplification refractory mutation system-polymerase chain reaction was used to determine the genotypes. RESULTS There were 31 cases and 33 control. SNP rs2236242 showed that odds ratio (OR) (95% confidence interval [CI]) for AA-TT was 0.273 (0.241–0.305) and for TA-TT was 0.315 (0.298–0.341). The OR (95% CI) for allele A to T was 0.789 (0.373−1.669). The mean (standard deviation) serum vaspin level in the case group compared to the control was 1,570 (2,108) ng/ml versus 1,630 (1,428) ng/ml (p = 0.064). Higher vaspin levels were found in T allele of the TT (1,523 [2,269] ng/ml, p = 0.021) and TA (1,760 [1,349] ng/ml, p = 0.004) genotype groups than the A allele of the AA genotype group (0.914 [0.329] ng/ml). CONCLUSIONS Vaspin gene polymorphism AA genotype or A allele significantly reduces vaspin levels in patients with ischemic stroke with DM.

Abstract

Penyakit demam berdarah adalah penyakit yang dapat menyebabkan kematian yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue. Virus ini ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti, yang berfungsi sebagai vektor utama dalam menyebarkan penyakit demam berdarah Sebagai penyakit yang menular, demam berdarah berpotensi menjadi wabah penyakit yang menakutkan. Hal ini disebabkan karena Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit menular yang terjadi setiap tahun dan berkontribusi terhadap tingginya angka kematian di Indonesia, dengan ratusan kematian setiap tahunnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut serta permasalahan lain penulis memandang perlu adanya upaya untuk menanggulangi penyakit demam berdarah di Kampung Pendowo Asri. Penulis menawarkan program kerja PKM (Peningkatan Kesehatan masyarakat) dan Pendowo Bersih Terintegrasi. Selama musim hujan, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas vektor nyamuk yang signifikan, yang berpotensi memicu wabah dan meningkatkan risiko kematian yang lebih tinggI. Obyek kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah Kampung Pendowo Asri yang terletak di Kecamatan Dente Teladas Kabupaten Tulang Bawang. Hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan menunjukan dampak yang positif dalam pencegahan penyakit demam berdarah. Dengan berjalannya program kerja ini masyarakat menjadi lebih mengetahui cara pencegahan demam berdarah dan lingkungan yang sebelumnya banyak terdapat sampah kini menjadi bersih dan saluran pembuangan air yang mampet menjadi lancar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepribadian proaktif terhadap self efficacy dan motivasi berolahraga pada mahasiswa, serta mengetahui peran mediasi self efficacy. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari 93 mahasiswa aktif Institut Keguruan dan Teknologi Larantuka yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, meliputi skala kepribadian proaktif, self efficacy, dan motivasi berolahraga. Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linier dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepribadian proaktif tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap self efficacy (R² = 0,006, F = 0,504, p = 0,480, β = -0,074). (2) Self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi berolahraga (R² = 0,174, F = 19,121, p = 0,000, β = 0,417). (3) Kepribadian proaktif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi berolahraga (R² = 0,061, F = 5,931, p = 0,017, β = 0,247). (4) Self efficacy tidak memediasi hubungan antara kepribadian proaktif dan motivasi berolahraga (Z-hitung = -0,698, p > 0,05). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepribadian proaktif secara langsung memengaruhi motivasi berolahraga tanpa peran mediasi dari self efficacy. Oleh karena itu, program pembinaan olahraga perlu difokuskan pada peningkatan motivasi secara langsung melalui dorongan proaktif, pengalaman sukses, dan dukungan sosial.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of information access, social support, and physical literacy on students' clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS), and tests the moderating role of self-efficacy. PHBS is an important foundation in shaping the character of healthy, productive, and competitive students. The study used a correlational quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from 82 students of Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Junior High School through purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a four-point Likert scale-based questionnaire that measured PHBS, information access, social support, physical literacy, and self-efficacy. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that social support and physical literacy had a significant influence on students' PHBS, while access to information was not significantly related. Self-efficacy was also not proven to moderate the relationship between independent variables and PHBS. This model explained 36.9% of the variance in students' PHBS, with dependence influenced by other factors. The findings emphasize the importance of social support and physical literacy in promoting PHBS, while information delivery strategies need to be improved to be more effective. Implications include school-based development programs involving families, teachers, and communities to improve physical literacy through extracurricular activities, supporting peer groups, and creating conducive physical and information environments. The findings are expected to be the basis for improving students' health and character building in a sustainable manner. Abstract

Melayu Tengah Village is one of the villages located in East Martapura District, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. With strategic village potential, it has a connecting bridge with East Martapura District and other villages, the existence of Pukaha craftsmen, and community support for health. However, health problems still occur frequently, such as diarrhea and stunting. Banjar Regent H. Saidi Mansyur said that based on the results of the 2021 Indonesian toddler nutrition case study, the prevalence of stunting in Banjar Regency was 40.2%. (Banjar Regency Public Info, (20 May 2022). Even though the threshold set by the World Health Organization or WHO for stunting cases is only around 20 percent. Moreover, prevalence rates above around 30 percent are declared as 'red' status areas.   After the previous year the team carried out increased sanitation efforts, one of which was through increasing community knowledge in the target area of ​​ Melayu TengahVillage, East Martapura District, Banjar Regency, community service in 2024 will focus on interventions on environmental health aspects in the form of building faecal disposal facilities and household wastewater management. It is hoped that the stairs will become an example and even become a habit for the community in their daily lives, so that they can prevent the transmission of infectious diseases which have a further impact on the incidence of stunting.

Abstract

Despite recent legal provisions to protect emergency medical personnel in Indonesia, many still face criminal, civil, or administrative sanctions, revealing gaps in the current law’s effectiveness this study uniquely analyzes and proposes reconstructive reforms based on justice principles. This study employs a descriptive-analytical method within a constructivist paradigm and socio-legal approach, integrating Islamic and Pancasila justice as grand theories, legal systems theory as a middle-range framework, and theories of legal protection and progressive law as applied perspectives to comprehensively analyze emergency medical personnel’s legal protection. The findings reveal several key weaknesses. First, at the substantive level, vague and ambiguous legal norms result in inconsistent court decisions regarding the liability of medical personnel during emergency services. Second, at the structural level, disciplinary and ethical institutions lack assertiveness and clarity in enforcing professional accountability. Third, at the cultural level, crucial values such as patient safety, autonomy, and a culture of apology have not been fully embedded in medical practice. To address these problems, the study proposes a reconstruction of the legal framework by promoting centralized responsibility, expanding immunity protections for emergency actions, extending procedural time limits, and recognizing the role of unified professional organizations. These reforms aim to ensure effective and just legal protection for medical personnel.

Abstract

Kemampuan guru-guru di SMAN 1 Sampang Kabupaten Cilacap dalam riset dan publikasi hasil riset masih perlu ditingkatkan. Terlepas daripada itu, semangat guru-guru di SMAN 1 Sampang untuk melakukan riset masih sangat baik. Untuk mendorong produktifitas dan menjaga motivasi guru- guru dalam riset dalam menulis publikasi, perlu pendampingan pelatihan penyusunan artikel ilmiah dengan metode literature review. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah membekali guru-guru SMAN 1 Sampang dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan melakukan riset literatur. Metode pengabdian di SMAN 1 Sampang ini meliputi ceramah, pengenalan software Publish or Perish dan VOS Viewerr. Peserta pengabdian adalah seluruh guru dan staf pendidikan. Pemberian materi melalui ceramah berupa pemaparan tentang riset literature review, sumber-sumber artikel untuk riset, mencari dan menemukan celah riset dari hasil mengkaji literatur-literatur yang digunakan dan cara menganalisis literatur berupa artikel ilmiah. Selain itu seluruh peserta pelatihan diajak untuk mendownload aplikasi gratis yaitu Publish or Perish dan Vos Viewer diberikan contoh praktik penggunaannya. Pelatihan ini memberikan tambahan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah Literature Review.
