Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore digger concerning to the reason of consumer's lifestyle on consuming party kebaya as a luxurious product on women consumers at Channisa Boutique Malang. This research uses Qualitative Approach with phenomenology research design in order to explore digger concerning to the the partisipats'experiences and reasons towards the lifestyle such as buying and using kebaya as a luxurious product. The data was taken by interviewing in depth of 5 informers who are customers of Channisa Boutique as partisipants. The data analysis is using coding technique in order to make easier on the meaning formulation process of the deep interview results. The result of this research shows: the reasons in which being a background of consumer's lifestyle, there are:1) the role of reference group 2) achievement motivation 3) self-confident 4) self image. The implication of the research towards marketers are they may give more attention to the customers'reference group vision, the equation of perception with the customers'fashion trend vision, customers'self confidence and self image. The originality of this research is that, it brings attention to the consumer's experiences and reasons towards a lifestyle on the consumption of Indonesian local luxury fashion product named party kebaya.

Abstract

This study examines the characteristics Leaders Influence and Respect Work Motivation and Employee Performance (Study on PT Vision Works Agritama). Analyzing the influence of Research Objectives and Characteristics of Leaders Award, both directly and indirectly through the work motivation on employee performance. Methods The study used a quantitative approach and survey methods, as well as the type of correlational research. This research use PLS (Partial Least Square). The population in this study were all employees of PT Vision Agritama work totaling 64 people. Furthermore, the entire population of respondents that made this study using census method in the determination of the sample. The research proves that the characteristics of leaders and a significant positive effect on employee motivation, but no significant effect on employee performance. Award no significant effect on employee motivation and employee performance. Work Motivation positive and significant impact on employee performance. Originality of this research is characteristics Award Leader and not always positive and significant effect on Employee Motivation and Performance.

Abstract

The study aims to describes the members of the public sector organizations understanding, namely Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (LPMP) Bali on strategic management framework with a balanced scorecard approach and identify challenges of the balanced scorecard implementation in LPMP Bali Province. The research method is descriptive qualitative case study approach, the informants all officials in the structural and functional LPMP Bali Province. The results showed that members of the organization LPMP understand framework strategy management with the balanced scorecard approach as a framework that can provide useful information and can help every member of the organization in making better decisions. By using a balanced scorecard approach, LPMP Bali is expected to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in providing services to stakeholders. The challenge in the application of the balanced scorecard in LPMP Bali, the members of the organization feel comfortable with the old habits that lack the motivation to make changes in work culture, mindset and habits that they have done so far.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of service quality and price on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, as well as the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in hospital inpatients NU Tuban. Technical analysis of the data in this study using the Partial Least Square ( PLS ).The results showed that the quality of service and price positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction, as well as indirect effect on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The importance of employee commitment reflects the good relationship between employees and organizations. Employee commitment can be influenced by some factors, such as person-organization fit (P-O Fit), job motivation, and job satisfaction. This study has objective to analysis the person-organization fit, job motivation, and job satisfaction influences toward employee commitment. Researcher uses 60 employees as sample in the UB Hotel, exclude the Director Data is analyzed by using Partial Least Square (PLS). The result shows that person-organization fit has a positive and significant influence on job motivation, job satisfaction, and employee commitment. Also, job motivation and job satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on the employee commitment. In the other hand, there is an indirect relationship between person-organization fit toward employee commitment through job motivation or job satisfaction

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to know the conflict process on BUMD (Regional-State Owned Enterprise) PT.X. Qualitative paradigm were used in this research with descriptive-explan writing technique and case study research design. Informants of this research are two ex-employees of BUMD PT.X based on the criteria determined by the researcher. Data analysis technique used in this research is content analysis. Data verification analyses used are construct validity, internal and external validity, and reliability. Thisresearch finds that the trigger factors of conflict in individual level are employee characteristics, reluctant culture, owe’s life, family values, and trust. The researcher also finds the trigger factors of conflict inorganizational level that are differentiation of employee capability, leadership style, individual vision difference, role ambiguity and responsibility of work, individual interest, and political interest. These trigger factors would create conflict perception on the employees and in turn would form the conflict. Theresult of conflict causes negative impact like high employee turnover, high conflict of interest, and high employees stress. Conclusion of this research is that conflict process occurs if there are trigger factors from individual level and organizational level as well. All of the trigger factors would shape perception of conflict in every one and would shape conflict. The impact of conflict would give negative outcomes.

Abstract

This research had the purpose to analyze the effect of quality product, competitive strategypricing, on the satisfaction customer and create word of mouth on customer housing madani group. Respondentsin this research were are customer live in house madani group amounted to 92 persons. Datawere are analyzed used Partial Least Square (PLS). Result of this research he results showed a positiveinfluence quality product and significant impact on customer satisfaction, strategy pricing, and a significantpositive effect on Customer satisfaction has positive and significant impact on positive WOM satisfaction.

Abstract

The role of entrepreneurship in development and the national economy encourages an increase in entrepreneurs every year. The government and educational institutions are trying to encourage the growth of entrepreneurs. The development of entrepreneurial actors is considered very important in realizing the economic independence of society. Apart from that, the growth of business actors, especially those from the younger generation, can reduce challenges in facing the demographic bonus. The existence of young entrepreneurs can increase labor absorption and improve social welfare. The availability of employment opportunities encourages strengthening national development because higher access to employment opportunities will increase consumption levels and community independence. Entrepreneurship has now become an indicator for measuring the success of a country, therefore strengthening the abilities of business actors, especially young entrepreneurs, is very necessary. The service activities that have been carried out are aimed at improving the communication skills of young entrepreneurs. Communication skills are an important aspect to maintain business continuity. Young entrepreneurs need communication skills in carrying out business activities such as business negotiations, pitching, and motivating employees. Apart from communication training, young entrepreneurs will also be given training in managing self-leadership. Through communication and self-leadership training, young entrepreneurs are targeted to be able to make measured decisions and achieve business success effectively. Implementation of service activities is carried out directly using intensive mentoring methods and collaborating directly with the FEB UB Entrepreneurship Laboratory. The impact of collaborative community service activities in 2023 is expected to be able to improve the communication and leadership skills of young entrepreneurs within Universitas Brawijaya

Abstract

Selama ini perawat telah dilatih untuk memberikan perawatan pasien dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien, namun kualitas kehidupan kerja dan psychological well-being mereka sendiri terabaikan. Rendahnya kualitas kehidupan kerja perawat di rumah sakit menyebabkan tingginya keinginan pindah kerja perawat. Tingginya angka keinginan pindah kerja perawat dan bidan di Rumah Sakit X Malang merupakan masalah yang memerlukan perhatian dari manajemen rumah sakit agar tidak menjadi menyebabkan rendahnya mutu pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas kehidupan kerja, psychological well-being, dan keinginan pindah kerja perawat dan bidan di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas kehidupan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap psychological well-being perawat, kualitas kehidupan kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap keinginan pindah kerja, psychological well-being tidak berpengaruh terhadap keinginan pindah kerja, sehingga psychological well-being tidak memediasi pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap keinginan pindah kerja. Kualitas kehidupan kerja berpengaruh pada psychological well-being dan keinginan pindah kerja, sehingga peningkatan kualitas kehidupan kerja akan mengurangi keinginan pindah kerja dan meningkatkan psychological well-being. Nurses have been trained to provide patient care and improve patients’ quality of life, but their own quality of work life and psychological well-being are often disregarded. Nurses’ low quality of work life in hospital leads to nurses’ high turnover. The high rate of nurses’ and midwives’ turnover in hospital X Malang is an issue that requires hospital management attention to prevent low quality of health services in the hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine relation between quality of work life, psychological well-being and turnover intention of nurses and midwives in the hospital. This study used quantitative correlation design with cross-sectional approach, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Square. The results showed that the quality of work life positively and significantly affected the psychological well-being of nurses, quality of work life significantly and negatively affected turnover intention, while psychological well-being did not affect the turnover intention, so the psychological well-being did not mediate the effect of quality of work life on turnover intention. Quality of work life influences both psychological well-being and turnover intention, so the improvement quality of work life will reduce turnover intention and inhance the psychological well-being.

Abstract

Job stress and motivation has a critical role to enhance female employee performance. The research attempts to analyze the direct effect of job stress and motivation on employee performance, and indirect effect of job stress and motivation on employee performance through job satisfaction. This research involves 108 married female employees, with minimal one year working period, as the population and respondents (census sampling). Using Path analysis, it was found that job stress have significant negative effect on employee performance. Motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Job stress does not have an effect on job satisfaction. Motivation significantly positive influences job satisfaction. Job satisfaction significantly influences employee performance. Job stress does not have indirect effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. Motivation has an indirect effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. Motivation has the most important role to enhance employee performance. As an implication, company must give more attention and enhance employee motivation, especially on fulfilling self actualization need.
