Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Distribution Channels and Sales Volume on Corn Farmers' Income in Bontojai Village, Tamalatea District, Jeneponto Regency. The research approach used is quantitative with data collection conducted through observation, questionnaire filling, and documentation methods. A total of 71 respondents were taken as samples in this study. The collected data were then analyzed using various analytical techniques, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple inear regression analysis, simultaneous test (f test), and the coefficient of determination. The findings of this study indicate that the variables of distribution channels, sales volume, and income of maize farmers are in the good category. In addition, the results of the analysis show that distribution channels and sales volume together or simultaneously have a significant effect on the income of maize farmers in Bontojai Village, Tamalatea District, Jeneponto Regency. In the context of distribution channels, the availability of production factors such as fertilizer, seeds, and pesticides has a significant role in influencing maize farmers' income, which is supported by the ease of the sales process for maize farmers. On the other hand, in terms of sales volume, research shows that sales volume has a greater influence than distribution channels, as the higher the sales volume, the higher the income earned. Keywords: Distribution Channels, Sales Volume, Revenue

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of the Sentra-ku Application at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Pasangkayu Regency, addressing operational challenges and identifying factors that support and inhibit its effectiveness. A key issue examined is the internal recording of financial transactions, including tax budgets and treasury operations, which were previously not fully integrated into existing applications. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process involves data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to ensure comprehensive insights. The findings highlight several critical aspects of the implementation process. In terms of communication, the process was effective, evidenced by structured and multi-method communication strategies with implementers, including the use of questionnaires to evaluate employee understanding. Resource-wise, while most BPKAD employees demonstrated proficiency in operating the Sentra-ku Application, more advanced and complex features required additional IT team support. Regarding disposition, employees recognized the importance of the application and exhibited strong support for its implementation. This was further reinforced by the proactive involvement of the BPKAD head, who actively guided the development and implementation stages, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The bureaucratic structure within BPKAD was identified as being flexible and adaptive to changes, significantly supporting the smooth implementation of the Sentra-ku Application. Key supporting factors included effective communication, clear and consistent transmission of policy information, adequate resources in terms of both quantity and quality, and positive employee attitudes toward change. Furthermore, an efficient and responsive bureaucratic structure played a pivotal role in facilitating implementation success. However, inhibiting factors were also identified, such as insufficient policy support, lack of critical information, inadequate support systems, and improper delegation of responsibilities and authority. This study underscores the importance of clear communication, sufficient resources, strong leadership, and adaptable organizational structures in ensuring the effective implementation of digital innovations like the Sentra-ku Application. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers and organizations aiming to improve financial management systems in public institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the innovation of the PDAM Info application implemented by the Regional Drinking Water Company (Perumda) of Makassar City. As part of the e-government initiative, this application represents a significant digital transformation effort designed to enhance the efficiency and quality of services provided to the community. Employing qualitative descriptive methods, the study delves into the implementation of this application innovation. Data collection was conducted through various techniques, including direct observation, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and documentation to gather pertinent information. Data analysis utilized an interactive model, encompassing data condensation, presentation, and the drawing of conclusions or verification. The findings indicate that the implementation of the PDAM Info application innovation at the Makassar City Drinking Water Company has not achieved optimal levels across three of the five success indicators proposed by Bugge et al. Key challenges identified include governance obstacles often disrupted by technical issues such as server malfunctions and limitations in network infrastructure. Additionally, low technological literacy among the public significantly hampers widespread application usage. Other technical difficulties include limited server capacity, which prevents some application features from functioning optimally. Despite these challenges, community satisfaction surveys reveal positive feedback, particularly regarding ease of access to information and service transparency. However, the anticipated speed of service remains a critical weakness affecting the overall success of the program. Perumda continues to provide manual services to accommodate individuals who have not fully embraced digital technology. Efforts to socialize the application have been made through various communication channels, including social media, radio advertisements, and direct public meetings. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of these outreach efforts requires enhancement to reach a broader audience. Therefore, targeted strategic measures are essential to address technical challenges, improve technological literacy, and expedite service responses through the development of adequate infrastructure. In conclusion, while the PDAM Info application innovation holds promise for improving public services at Perumda Air Minum Makassar City, immediate attention to both technical and non-technical challenges is necessary to fully realize the objectives of this innovation.

Abstract

Abstract

be considered by the local government and stakeholders in each region. Security and order are "public goods" that are needed by every citizen. This article explains the actual condition of tourism destination management in the aspects of security and order and community obedience. The type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach is used to explain the noumena (meaning) behind the phenomenon (fact) regarding security, order and obedience of the people of Tana Toraja Indonesia. The results of the study found that the actual situation and conditions were created that were safe and orderly as a form of obedience of citizens to tourism destinations in Tana Toraja. The situation and conditions are created not only because it is a manifestation of the local cultural values of the Toraja people who are happy to receive visitors or tourists, but also a proof of the success of the institution of the Republic of Indonesia Police (Polri) through the role of Bhayangkara Pembina Keamanan dan Ketertiban (Bhabinkamtibmas) together with the institution of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) through the role of its personnel at the lower level. The synergy of these roles supported by obedience and active participation of the local community can be of added value as a precondition for competitive advantage in the development of sustainable tourism destinations based on community participation.
