Abstract

Kepuasan kerja merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur keberhasilan suatu perusahaan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan terhadap kepuasan kerja baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung yang di mediasi dengan motivasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah negeri 2 Balikpapan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah negeri 2 Balikpapan, pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dengan purposive sampling. Adapun metode pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan untuk menjawab hipotesis penelitian pada penelitian ini dibantu software smart PLS. Hasil penelitian ini adalah lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap motivasi, motivasi berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja dan lingkungan kerja secara tidak langsung berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja melalui motivasi

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of employee satisfaction within a public sector institution in an emerging economy context, focusing on the Department of Youth, Sports, and Tourism in Balikpapan, Indonesia. Specifically, it examines the influence of motivation, work environment, and work discipline on employee satisfaction. Employing a quantitative approach, the research surveyed the entire population of 46 civil servants using a census method. Data were collected through observation, structured interviews, and standardized questionnaires, then analyzed using multiple linear regression with SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that both motivation and work environment have a positive and significant impact on employee satisfaction, indicating that intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors as well as conducive workplace conditions are critical to enhancing job fulfillment in public institutions. Conversely, work discipline shows a negative and statistically insignificant effect on employee satisfaction, suggesting that disciplinary measures alone may not contribute meaningfully to job satisfaction without complementary motivational and environmental support. These results provide empirical insights for human resource management practices in local government agencies, particularly in the context of developing regions. The study contributes to the literature on public administration and organizational behavior by highlighting context-specific factors influencing employee well-being in the public sector.

Abstract

The Balikpapan City Population and Civil Registration Office must certainly serve the community well. The provision of good service is certainly inseparable from skilled and reliable human resources. This quantitative research aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, work discipline, and work environment on job satisfaction of employees of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Balikpapan City, using a purposive sampling technique totaling 40 employees of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Balikpapan City. Data collection in this study was done by distributing questionnaires and using SmartPLS in processing the data. The results of the study show that work motivation and work environment have a positive and significant influence on the job satisfaction of employees of the Balikpapan City Population and Civil Registration Office, while work discipline has a negative and insignificant effect on the job satisfaction of employees of the Balikpapan City Population and Civil Registration Office.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of work discipline, motivation, and work environment on the employees of PT. Energy Logistic Balikpapan. This research was conducted at PT. Energy Logistic Balikpapan, with 60 respondents, using quantitative research methods. Data collection was carried out through observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression with the Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The research results indicate that the variables of work discipline, motivation, and work environment have a significant positive influence on employee job satisfaction at PT. Energy Logistic Balikpapan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation, work discipline, and work environment on job satisfaction of employees of the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office of Balikpapan City . In this study, there was a population of 70 employees and a sample of 34 respondents . The method used in this study was a statistical test with primary data from the distributed questionnaire . Data analysis used SmarPLS. The results of the study showed that the variables partially Motivation and work environment have no effect, while work discipline has a positive effect on employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is a technology that allows machines to learn and adapt quickly from given data without having to be explicitly programmed. AI has found its place in many industries and has great potential to improve the efficiency of human resources within organizations. In this article, we will discuss how the use of artificial intelligence can help improve human resource efficiency. This review is a literature search with an elaborative approach. This approach is a methodological effort by organizing the logic flow of the discussion with various compatible literature sources. Reliable literature sources come from journals, books, articles, and other sources relevant to this discourse. The result of the study is that human resource management needs to adjust to the needs of the organization and adjust the culture or corporate culture to the technological culture. Human interaction with machines is an inevitable necessity. The existence of artificial intelligence is very helpful in human resource management, for example in recruitment systems, training, data analysis, performance analysis, and operational duty efficiency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Work Motivation, Job Training, and Job Stress on Job Satisfaction of Paser Regency Fire Department Employees. The type of research used is quantitative research. The sampling technique in this study was total / census sampling with a population of 88 employees, so the sample taken was all employees of the Paser Regency Fire Service, totaling 88 employees. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires. This study uses multiple linear regression with the help of SmartPLS in processing data. The results of this study indicate that the work motivation variable partially affects the job satisfaction of Paser Regency Fire Department employees, the job training variable partially affects the job satisfaction of Paser Regency Fire Department employees, and the job stress variable partially affects the job satisfaction of Paser Regency Fire Department employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the work environment, work discipline and communication on the job satisfaction of employees of Bankaltimtara Unit Usaha Syariah KC Balikpapan. The type of research used is quantitative research. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling with a sample size of 55 employees of Bankaltimtara Sharia Business Unit KC Balikpapan. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires. This research uses SmartPLS to process data. The data analysis method in this research uses outer models, inner models, basic equations and booststrapping tests. The results of this research show that work environment variables have a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of employees of Bankaltimtara Unit Usaha Syariah KC Balikpapan. The work discipline variable has a positive and significant influence on the job satisfaction of employees of Bankaltimtara Sharia Business Unit KC Balikpapan. And the communication variable has a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction at Bankaltimtara Unit Usaha Syariah KC Balikpapan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of Compensation, Motivation, and Work Discipline to Employee Job Satisfaction of PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk. The type of research used is quantitative research. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling with the sample taken is employees of PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk which amounted to 47 employees. Data collection method is done by distributing questionnaires. This research uses multiple linear regression with the help of SmartPLS in processing data. The result of this research shows that compensation, motivation, and work discipline have influence on job satisfaction of PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk employees.

Abstract

Human resource talent development is very important for a company because good human resource development can create a capability that will be a strength in running the company's business and as a tool to achieve the company's vision and mission to be better in the future. To create employees who have good abilities, companies must have a formula for developing these capabilities. One of the stimuli that can encourage this is job satisfaction. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work-life balance, motivation, and communication on employee job satisfaction at PT Transkon Jaya Tbk. This study was conducted at PT Transkon Jaya Tbk, with a population of 150 using the census method with 150 respondents, this research method uses a quantitative research method. Data collection by observation and distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis tool used is Smart PLS4. The results of the study showed that the variables work-life balance, motivation, and communication have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT Transkon Jaya Tbk.
