Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between perceived stress, psychological well-being and perceived productivity through teleworking with resilience as moderation for married female employees in the telecommunications network company in Jakarta. The data analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)–Partial Least Square (PLS) by distributing questionnaires to 148 married women employees. Data were collected from December 2021 to 2022 through an online questionnaire distributed through the human resources department. The results of this study supported the six hypotheses proposed, and 1 of the seven hypotheses did not. Perceived stress and teleworking have a relationship with psychological well-being. Moreover, teleworking can mediate the relationship between perceived stress and psychological well-being. Surprisingly women's resilience does not moderate the relationship between teleworking and psychological well-being. This study also revealed that perceived stress and psychological well-being are related to perceived productivity. This condition requires an active role of corporate leaders to find effective ways to deal with stress and increase well-being and employee productivity during teleworking or Work From Home. Corporate leaders must begin to design and plan better methods to support employees who have flexible working hours.

Currently, companies are faced with competition not only to get the best talent but to retain competent employees in the company, especially in the Pharmaceutical Industry, which in a pandemic situation still survives in the market. Companies need to create a strategy that can support increased employee commitment, and Employer Branding can be one of the strategies that can build a positive view so that it can influence employees to stay in the company. This research aims to analyze the effect of Employer Branding, Green Human Resources Management (GHRM), on Corporate Reputation and Employee Commitment among employees who understand GHRM with at least 1 year working period as a permanent employee in the Pharmaceutical Industry. This research was conducted on 238 respondents who met the research criteria, by distributing online questionnaires. The data processing method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)-Partial Least Square (PLS). The research found that Employer branding has an influence on company reputation, but employer branding has no effect on employee commitment. Then, Green Human Resources Management (GHRM) has an influence on company reputation, company reputation has an influence on employee commitment, and green human resources management (GHRM) has a role that can affect employee commitment. This condition requires an active role of leaders in dealing with talent war condition in talent market by finding effective ways to retain competent employees in the company by fostering a sense of commitment in employees. Leaders in the company need to create better plans which support increased employee commitment, one of the plans is optimizing employee involvement through the application of green human resources management (GHRM). In this condition, leaders must play an active role to increase employee's commitment, such as clarifying the goals that the company wants to achieve, involving employees in every decision or policy making in the team, and increasing employees' emotional feelings towards the company by paying attention to employee comfort at work and in the work environment.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to develop a model to measure emergent leadership among employees in Indonesia. In doing so, this study first developed a theoretical model by identifying the emergent leadership constructs from the literature and identifying the criteria measurement of these constructs from the literature and thirdly was to validate the theoretical model to measure emergent leadership in Indonesia. The theoretical model consists of 6 emergent leadership constructs measured by a total of 60 measuring criteria. The empirical process of the validation employed data collected from 350 respondents who were working with the team working in Jakarta, Banten, and West Java. The validation aimed to validate the variables that were used to measure each of the constructs by determining statistically that the sample number is adequate; using the Keiser-Meier-Olkin and Bartlett's test to ensure the applicability of the data for multivariate statistical analysis; to validate the measuring criteria as relevant to emergent leadership and to determine the reliability of each of the emergent leadership constructs to the model. The result showed that emergent leadership can be measured by the following indicators: dominant, friendly, egocentric, intelligence, creativity, open mind, experiences, caring, positive vibes, discipline, good planner, conscientiousness, team player, communicative, and performance management for knowledge-skills-attitude. Furthermore, the results of this study found that the variable of the construct performance management from the previous research was in the third dominant value.
