Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has accelerated innovation in learning media, particularly in elementary science education where developing higher-order thinking is critical. This PRISMA-guided systematic literature review examines the effectiveness of Android-based learning media in enhancing elementary students’ critical thinking. Twenty-five peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025 were selected from Google Scholar, SINTA, and Scopus. Included studies comprised quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods designs and were appraised for quality. Findings show that Android-based media, including educational games, interactive multimedia, augmented reality applications, and e-modules generally improve engagement and learning outcomes. However, only about one third of the studies explicitly measured critical thinking indicators such as analysis, evaluation, and problem solving, revealing a persistent gap between technological innovation and cognitive assessment. The review highlights pedagogical integration, offline access, and teacher readiness as key factors. Overall, Android-based media present a flexible, accessible option for 21st-century elementary science education with implications for instructional design, policy, and future research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran microsite dengan blended learning serta menguji kelayakan dan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik kesetaraan. Latar belakang penelitian ini dilandasi oleh rendahnya prestasi belajar didik, yang dibuktikan sebanyak 60% peserta didik mendapatkan nilai di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) serta kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran secara blended learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian dan pengembangan (RD) dengan pendekatan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Paket C kelas X di SPNF SKB Grobogan Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Instrumen penelitian mencakup lembar validasi ahli, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes prestasi belajar (pretest dan posttest).Hasil validasi ahli media, ahli materi dan praktisi pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran microsite yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan dengan nilai persentase rata-rata total hasil validasi sebesar 92%. Respon peserta didik terhadap media microsite juga sangat positif, dengan nilai rata-rata kepuasan berada pada kategori sangat baik. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada mprestasi belajar peserta didik dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,773 yang termasuk dalam kategori efektif.Dengan demikian media pembelajaran microsite dengan blended learning dinyatakan layak dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik di SPNF SKB Grobogan, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Ilmu pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) materi Siklus Hidrologi.

Abstract

The 21st century education requires mastery of 4C skills, particularly critical thinking to support conceptual understanding. In IPAS learning, critical thinking is closely associated with concept mastery and meaningful knowledge application. Preliminary interviews and observations at SD Negeri Ciparay II revealed that IPAS instruction remains teacher-centered, learning modules for independent study are unavailable, and the implementation of project-based learning and STEM integration is limited, resulting in low levels of students’ critical thinking skills and concept mastery. This study aimed to develop an IPAS learning module based on Project-Based Learning integrated STEM (PjBL-STEM) and to examine its feasibility and effectiveness. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model with a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 69 students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. The results showed that the module was highly feasible, with feasibility percentages of 96% for the material aspect and 98% for the media aspect, and a readability score of 93%. The t-test indicated a significant improvement (p=0.000<0.05), while the average N-Gain score of 0.77 demonstrated high effectiveness. Positive responses were also reported by students (93.8%) and teachers (97.5%). Overall, the PjBL-STEM–based IPAS module was proven feasible and effective in enhancing students’ critical thinking skills and mastery of IPAS concepts, particularly in photosynthesis.

Abstract

Pendidikan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan perekonomian suatu negara, salah satunya melalui pendidikan kewirausahaan. Technopreneurship merupakan salah satu generasi baru dari pengembangan model kewirausahaan pada umumnya yang muncul sebagai akibat dari perkembangan teknologi, revolusi industri dan transformasi digital. Tujuannya tidak jauh dari pengembangan pasar ekonomi dengan digitalisasi teknologi. Akan tetapi, sebagian besar lembaga pendidikan tidak memiliki pemahaman yang memadai dan jelas tentang kewirausahaan terutama kewirausahaan berbasis teknologi yang sudah mulai diterapkan, sehingga diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang efektif agar siswa mampu menangkap pemahaman dan konsep technopreneurship. Harapannya siswa dapat mengimplementasikan dalam dunia pekerjaan. Model pembelajran yang memungkinkan dapat digunakan yaitu model pembelajatan berbasis multimodal. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan efektivitas dari modal pembelajaran technopreneurship berbasis modal untuk meningkatkan kreativitas wirausaha pada pendidikan kesetaraan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi serta wawancara terhadap 10 partisipan dengan latar belakang sebagai siswa pendidikan kesetaraan dan pengajar di sekolah kesetaraan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis multimodal menciptakan sistem pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, komunikatif, dan aktif. Pada bidang technopreneurship, pembelajaran berbasis multimodal mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa dan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi siswa, sehingga mereka dapat mendiskusikan sesuatu dengan baik. Pendidikan kewirausahaan berbasis teknologi tentu saja selalu memanfaatkan teknologi untuk ikut andil dalam bisnis yang dikembangkan, oleh karena itu kurikulum pendidikan kewirausahaan harus menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pasar bisnis. Teknologi meningkatkan literasi multimodal siswa, hal tersebut berdampak positif terhadap pengembangan produk, inovasi, ide, gagasan dan pendapat siswa menjadi lebih luas dan mendorong siswa menjadi lebih kreatif dalam menciptakan inovasi yang memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi.

Abstract

Training in Indonesia has undergone industry- and curriculum-focused reforms. The government built BLKs in the regions to align training with industry needs. However, at BLK Pemalang Regency, there is a lack of human resources for training needs analysis, a limited number of instructors, manual administration of attendance records, and a lack of long-term evaluation of graduates. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the CIPPO evaluation model in culinary training. The research used a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection involved observation techniques, interviews with the organizing committee, trainees, and instructors, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through the triangulation of sources and methods. The data analysis technique adopted the Miles & Huberman technique, consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results showed that BLK has a legal basis and a supporting vision-mission, competent human resources, adequate facilities, and a systematic training process by the existing legal basis in improving participants' skills. However, in the outcome component, there is no post-training support and job placement facilities, which causes graduates to be independent in finding jobs, and there is no comprehensive evaluation of the absorption of graduates. It was concluded that there were improvements in participants' knowledge, attitudes, and skills, but BLK needs to strengthen post-training guidance and mentoring programs, improve administration with online systems, and make greater use of social media. This research reflects progress in evaluating culinary training at BLK Pemalang through the CIPPO model, which evaluates program outcomes and long-term benefits for graduates.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of social activities and leadership values in shaping the character of students by the PIJAR Semarang Community as a form of community-based non-formal education. The background of this study stems from the increasing problems with student character, such as low empathy, responsibility, and self-confidence, as well as the increasing cases of violence and bullying in the educational environment. These conditions indicate that formal education has not been fully able to address the challenges of shaping student character. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research was conducted at the PIJAR Semarang Community by involving community managers, volunteers, and students as research subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation of activities, and documentation to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the character-building process. The results of the study show that the PIJAR Semarang Community integrates social activities and leadership values through academic and non-academic learning programs that are designed to be contextual and participatory. Social activities such as play-based learning, social action, field trips, art performances, and leadership training are the main media for instilling character values. The character values developed include responsibility, cooperation, empathy, discipline, and self-confidence. Leadership values are instilled through habit formation, volunteer role models, providing opportunities for participation, and the active involvement of students in every activity. This study also found several obstacles in the form of differences in student character, limited resources, and low self-confidence among some students in leadership. To overcome these obstacles, the PIJAR Semarang Community implemented intensive mentoring, motivation building, and adjustments to activities to make them more inclusive. Overall, this study confirms that the integration of social activities and leadership values in community-based non-formal education plays an important role in the holistic and sustainable character building of students.

Abstract

Background: Women's empowerment is a strategic aspect of sustainable development, yet in Indonesia's agricultural sector there is still a significant gender gap. Although women constitute 36.7% of Indonesia's agricultural labour, their contributions remain undervalued and perceived as auxiliary support rather than recognized as primary agricultural workers. Women farmers' groups (Kelompok Wanita Tani/KWT) have emerged as grassroots organizations with substantial potential to advance women's empowerment through non-formal education programs that transcend agricultural productivity to encompass entrepreneurial skills, financial management, and women's rights awareness. Research Urgency: Previous research on women's empowerment in KWT has primarily focused on economic aspects, psychological empowerment dimensions such as self-confidence and personal potential development have received insufficient attention. KWT Bunga Al Barokah in Ketapang Village addresses this gap by implementing comprehensive non-formal education programs including skills training, life skills education, entrepreneurship training, and literacy activities to increase members' confidence and self-potential. Research Objectives: This study analyzes the empowerment process, efforts to strengthen self-confidence and self-potential, and identifies supporting and inhibiting factors of women's empowerment through non-formal education programs aimed at increasing self-confidence and self-potential among women in KWT Bunga Al Barokah. Research Method: This case study research employed a descriptive qualitative approach utilizing data collection techniques including interviews with six informants, observation, and documentation analysis. Research Findings: Result shows that women's empowerment through non-formal education programs including skills training, life skills education, entrepreneurship training, and literacy activities in KWT Bunga Al Barokah successfully enhanced members' confidence and potential through four systematic stages. This process was supported by internal factors such as democratic leadership, high member commitment, and effective communication, alongside external factors including institutional support and socio-cultural changes, despite encountering obstacles including time constraints, diversity in member capacity, and traditional community perspectives. Research Conclusion: This study concludes that non-formal education programs implemented within women farmers' groups constitute an effective approach for women's empowerment in agricultural communities, successfully increasing members' self-confidence and unlocking their potential through systematic implementation stages. Research Novelty: This study has novelty in its focus on women's empowerment through non-formal education programs to increase self-confidence and self-potential, unlike previous studies that emphasized food security and economic aspects. Additionally, this research employs dual analytical frameworks (Miles & Huberman's interactive model and Longwe's gender analysis) to comprehensively understand empowerment program outcomes. The unique research setting at KWT Bunga Al Barokah, characterized by internal empowerment agents and absence of similar research in Ketapang Village, Susukan Sub-district, Semarang Regency, further distinguishes this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur yang bertujuan untuk menelaah tren pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif di sekolah dasar pada periode 2020–2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui Publish or Perish yang terhubung dengan database Google Scholar. Pencarian awal menghasilkan sebanyak 300 artikel yang kemudian diseleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi hingga diperoleh 100 artikel yang dianalisis lebih lanjut. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar media interaktif dikembangkan untuk kelas tinggi (kelas V dan VI), dengan dominasi pada mata pelajaran IPA, Tematik dan Matematika. Canva menjadi media yang paling banyak digunakan, disusul oleh Articulate Storyline, PowerPoint interaktif, dan beberapa media lain seperti Smart Apps Creator, Google Sites, dan Powtoon. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang arah dan variasi pengembangan media interaktif yang relevan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, partisipatif, dan sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Hasil ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi peneliti dan praktisi pendidikan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif yang inovatif dan efektif.
