Abstract

Abstract This type of study is a qualitative study using descriptive analysis and the main instrument is the author of his own with the use of data collection techniques including observation, interviews and literature study and several tools to collect data in the field such as stationery, hp cameras, digital cameras. From the research Use of Audio Visual Media In Learning Locally Songs To Improve Student Motivation In Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Coastal Domains. Instructional media used in SMP Negeri 1 Domains Coastal VII class on learning the art of music, especially the song material is a local area of ​​audio and visual. In the early stages of research looks KLS VII student motivation is very low in the study of local songs. Many things that cause it, such as media selection and learning improper influences from outside. After doing research for 6 sessions in class VII akirnya authors obtain research results. Results illustrate an increase in students' motivation in learning local songs, it is evident from the teaching and learning activities in the classroom such as: students were enthusiastic in watching video song displayed local teachers, students observe local song video shown, students work on assignments per group, the student arranges the songs in a simple local area and per group, students display the results of the local arrangements of folk songs with kreativ and expression very good in front of the class. From the results of the research can be seen increasing students' motivation in learning local songs using audio-visual instructional media.   Kata kunci: Pengunaan, media audi visual, lagu daerah setempat, motivasi.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to determine whether there were differences in student learning outcomes both using audio visual media and without using audio visual media in music art learning in SMP Negeri 1 Sungayang. The type of this research was quantitative research with experiment method. The design in this study was Pretest - Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII, amounting to 108 students. The sample in this research was determined by random sampling technique and obtained class VIII.5 as experiment class and class VIII.1 as control class. Moreover, independent variables were the use of audio visual media and the use of conventional media, while the dependent variable was the result of student learning in the subject of art and culture, especially art of music. The research data was obtained from multiple choice test of ensemble music material on pretest and posttest. Validity test and reliability test used Kuder Richardson (KR 20). In this research, t-test was used as technique of data analysis. Data obtained from the results of pretest and posttest then processed using Microsoft Excel 2010 program. The results showed that the results of experimental classroom learning by using audio visual media was better than classroom control classroom learning results using conventional media. There was a significant difference between learning outcomes taught by using audio visual media with learning outcomes using conventional media in art learning. This was evidenced from the calculation of t-test obtained tcount 3.2932> ttable 2.0195. The application of audio-visual media in the learning of music art can improve students’ learning outcomes for the better, this was evidenced from the average increase in experimental class learning outcome was 87.73 and the average control class was 82.86. Thus, it was obtained the difference in the average of experimental class and control class of 4.87. Keywords: Aplication, Audio Visual Media, Music Art Learning

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to reveal and explain the value of education in game recorder ensemble in MTsN Tanjung Raya. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. Data obtained by direct observation, interviews, library research, and documentation. Data were analyzed with phenomenological techniques. The results showed, that in the game there ensemble educational aspects and attitudes for students MTsN Tanjung Raya. With the recorder ensemble extracurricular learning, then the recorder ensemble play can produce benefits to educate the attitude and behavior of students in collaboration, compliance and obedience, responsibility, discipline, and being consistent in doing and acting.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims at describing the vocal practice learning at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. This research qualitative research used descriptive analysis method. Techniques of data collection were observation, documentations, and library research. In analyzing data, this research used used learning theory. The analysis was conducted through three steps, they are: identification, classification, and interpretation. Besides, the research also used portfolio containing lesson plan, teaching process, assessment, analysis, and evaluation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pemanfaatan lagu anak-anak yang dilakukanpendidik dalam pengembangan karakter anak usia dini yang berkaitan dengan kurikulum 2013.Metode penelitiannya adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini berlokasi di PAUD CahayaHati kecamatan Sangir Balai Janggo Kabupaten Solok Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data yangdilakukan yaitu: observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkanbahwa pemahaman pendidik terhadap konsep pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor yangmempengaruhi keberhasilan pembelajaran, sebagian pendidik memandang bahwa pendidikanhanya merupakan kegiatan untuk menjadikan anak pintar dalam aspek kognitif sedangkan halinilah yang perlu pahami bahwa Kurikulum 2013 menitikberatkan perkembangan potensi pesertadidik dari segala aspek. Selanjutnya, ada beberapa permasalahan yang ditemui di sekolah seperti1) kegiatan bernyanyi masih sangat sedikit yang menaruh perhatian pada lagu-lagu yang langsungberkaitan dengan pendidikan karakter, 2) lagu hanya dijadikan sebagai penghilang rasa bosandan rasa jenuh anak-anak, 3) pendidik mengalami kesulitan dalam pengembangan lagu sepertimengganti lirik lagu untuk disesuaikan dengan tema yang diajarkan, kegiatan bernyanyi hanyamenjadi pengisi waktu luang atau sekedar menghabiskan waktu secara percuma.Kata kunci: lagu anak, pendidikan karakter, anak usia diniUTILIZATION OF CHILDREN SONGS AS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT MEDIA IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATIONIN PAUD CAHAYA HATI, SOUTH SOLOK DISTRICTAbstractThe study aims to identify the utilization of children’s songs performed by educators in thedevelopment of early childhood characters related to the curriculum 2013. It applies the qualitativedescriptive method. It was conducted in Play Group Cahaya Hati Sangir Balai Janggo, South Solok.The data collection techniques were observation, interview, documentation. Research findingsshow that educators’ understanding of educational concepts is one of the factors influencing thesuccess of learning. Some educators see that education is only an activity to produce studentswith good academic records in cognitive aspects. Meanwhile, this is a need to understand thatthe 2013 curriculum focuses on the development of potential learners of all aspects. Furthermore,the problem in singing activities is that there are still very few teachers who pay attention to thesongs pertaining to character education. The song is only used as a relief to boredom and mundaneactivities. Children and educators have difficulties in material development, such as replacingsong lyrics relevant to the theme taught. Abstract

The aim of this research and development is to analyze the procedure to develop the CTL-based music art teaching materials for students of grade 3 of elementary schools. The procedure follows Plomp’s development stages. The data were collected through observation, interview, questionaire and documentation. The result of the research shows that the developed teaching materials which adopted Plomp’s model could optimize the instructional process in music art classes in elementary schools. AbstrakMusik Gamad  merupakan sebuah kesenian khas dari kota Padang yang mana pada dasarnya secara musikologi kesenian ini masih tergolong dalam klasifikasi musik melayu namun memiliki keunikan tersendiri dikarenakan pantun-pantun yang menjadi syair lagu dinyanyikan dalam bahasa Minangkabau dan juga bersifat spontan.kesenian ini juga merupakan sebuah bentuk akulturasi dari beberapa budaya masyarakat yang ada di kota padang pada era perkembanganya hingga pada saat ini.dilatar belakangi oleh kedatangan bangsa portugis dengan budaya musik barat dengan cepat menjadi daya tarik bagi bumi putra dalam konsep bermain musik sehingga pada sebelumnya pantun hanya dinyanyikan oleh vokal dengan iringan gendang tradisional kemudian bertambah dengan alat musik seperti akordeon,biola dan gitar.musik gamad pun dengan cepat menjadi sebuah kesenain yang populer di kota padang,namun dengan seiring perkembangan zaman dan pergeseran nilai-nilai sosial yang terjadi dalam masyarakat kota padang turut mempengaruhi kesenian ini sehingga terjadilah perubahan struktur dan bentuk dalam arransemen musik gamad di kota Padang.  Kata Kunci: gamad, struktur, bentuk, arransemen.AbstractGamad music is a distinctive art from the city of Padang, which is basically a musical artistry is still classified in the Malay music classification but has its own uniqueness because the poems are poetry sung in the Minangkabau language and are also spontaneous. This art is also a form acculturation of several cultural communities in the city of Padang in the era of its development until today. The background of the arrival of the Portuguese with Western music culture quickly became an attraction for the son of the earth in the concept of playing music so that in the past pantun was only sung by vocals with accompaniment traditional drum and then increased with musical instruments such as accordions, violins and guitars. Gamad music also quickly became a popular game in the city of Padang, but with the development of the times and the shifting of social values that occur in the city of Padang society also influence to this art so that there was a change in structure and shape in the gamad music arrangement in the city of Padang.Keywords: gamad, structure, shape, arrangement.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini merumuskan tentang implementasi proses kreatif yang dilakukan oleh Riau Rhythm Chambers Indonesia yaitu sebuah grup music yang berasal dari kota Pekanbaru, Riau. Kelompok ini didirikan oleh seorang seniman Riau bernama Rino Deza Paty yang peduli terhadap perkembangan dan kemajuan music Melayu di provinsi Riau. Rino Deza Paty pun tergerak dan mendirikan sebuah kelompok music untuk mengangkat marwah music Melayu khususnya di kota Pekanbaru. Dengan menjadikan music Melayu sebagai konsep utama, RRCI konsisten sebagai kelompok music yang bermain di wilayah-wilayah tradisi kesenian local dan memadukannya dengan music Barat sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. Proses kreatif ini dianalisis dengan mengacu pada tahap kreativitas yang diungkapkan oleh David Campbell, dan dengan menggunakan dua buah karya komposisi yaitu Satellite of Zapin dan lagu Kebangkitan Melayu sebagai media untuk menganalisis hasil dari bentuk kretivitas yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan teori musikologi.  Kata Kunci: implementasi, kreativitas, grup musik.AbstractThis research formulates the creative process done by Riau Rhythm Chambers Indonesia is a music group originating from the city of Pekanbaru, Riau. The group was founded by a Riau artist named Rino Deza Paty who cares about the development and progress of Malay music in Riau province. Rino Deza Paty was also moved and established a music group to raise the degree of Malay music especially in the city of Pekanbaru. By making Malay music as the main concept, RRCI is consistent as a group of music playing in local arts traditions and combine it with Western music in accordance with development of the Era. This creative process is analyzed by referring to the level of creativity expressed by David Campbell, and by using two compositions of the Satellite of Zapin and the Kebangkitan Melayu song as a medium to analyse the results of the form of creativity by using musical theories. Abstract

The aim of early age education is to develop all of student’s basic potential ability. To develop the student’s basic potential ability, it is needed the improvement of teachers’ profesionalism. The improvement of teachers’ profesionalism itself should be done toward both of the guide of profesionalism capability and the guide of commitment. The improvement of profesionalism capability for early age education teachers can be done through: education supervision; certification program and study task; commitment training for early age education teachers by helping their welfare. Abstract

The purpose of education is to develop all the basic potentials possessed by the learners. To develop the potentials of learners, the professionalism of educators should be improved. Therefore, improvement of professional skills of educators should be directed to the standard of competency. Learning the art of the ideal culture should be in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. The curriculum should be equipped with a supplemental materials and textbooks that are relevant as a reference for art educators in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of his profession, so that learners can cope with the changes, expectation and challenges in the future..
