Abstract

Kelompok Tani Potensi Usaha merupakan kelompok tani yang terdapat di Kelurahan Topos, Kecamatan Topos, Kabupaten Lebong yang semua anggota kelompok tani mempunyai pencaharian sebagai petani, yang pada umumnya bercocok tanam padi dan sayuran serta kopi. Bercocok tanam merupakan sumber pendapatan mereka. Berbagai usaha yang telah dilakukan oleh masyarakat tani untuk meningkatkan produksi pertanian mereka, antara lain menggunakan pupuk an-organik. Petani tidak menyadari bahwa penggunaan pupuk an-organik dapat menyebabkan kerusakan tanah dan pencemaran, meningkatkan biaya produksi. Mengingat hal tersebut maka perlu mengalihkan kebiasaan mereka yang menggunakan pupuk an-organik ke pupuk organic dimana bahannya tersedia disekitar mereka, sehingga biaya produksi pertanian juga dapat ditekan. Kebiasaan ini dapat diubah dengan cara peningkatan wawasan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka melalui penyuluhan / pelatihan, dengan metode, yaitu : 1) pendidikan / penyuluhan tentang pupuk organic dan pupuk an-organik serta tekhnik pembuatan arang sekam bakar dan cara budidaya mentimun dengan menggunakan arang sekam bakar; 2) Pelatihan cara pembuatan arang sekam bakar, dimana bahan baku berupa sekam padi yang banyak dan mudah didapatkan di Kelurahan Topos, selain itu pelatihan budidaya mentimun dengan menggunakan arang sekam bakar. Melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan dalam rangka pengabdian masyarakat ini telah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta wawasan masyarakat tentang arang sekam bakar dan budidaya mentimun, pupuk organic dan pupuk an-organik, meminimalisir biaya produksi serta pencemaran akibat penggunaan pupuk an-organik. Abstract

This conceptual paper investigates how the deep learning approach articulated in the New Pedagogies for Deep Learning (NPDL) framework can be theoretically and culturally aligned with Indonesian national graduate profiles, recent Indonesian government formulations of Pembelajaran Mendalam (PM), and the Lampung cultural philosophy of Piil Pesenggiri in the context of English language teaching (ELT). Drawing on document analysis of NPDL texts, Indonesian curriculum and policy documents, the Academic Paper on Deep Learning, scholarly discussions of graduate profiles, and regional literature on Piil Pesenggiri, the study develops a tri-level comparison between global, national, and local frameworks. The analysis shows that NPDL’s six global competencies-character, citizenship, collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking-broadly converge with Kemendikdasmen’s holistic, competency-based vision of graduates and with national deep learning discourse, which combines knowledge, skills, character, and citizenship in integrated graduate profiles. At the local level, core elements of Piil Pesenggiri such as juluk adok, nemui nyimah, nengah nyappur, and sakai sambayan provide cultural resources that can support the social, ethical, and collaborative dimensions of deep learning, while also generating tensions around honour, face, hierarchy, and group harmony. The paper argues that, when these convergences and tensions are explicitly recognised, ELT classrooms in Lampung can be designed as spaces for deep learning projects that develop the 6Cs through locally meaningful themes, tasks, and interaction norms. The study concludes by outlining principles for culturally responsive, deep learning-oriented ELT and by suggesting directions for future empirical research on the localisation of global pedagogies and national deep learning reforms in Indonesian schools.

Abstract

Lampung language is currently experiencing a decline in usage, increasingly being supplanted by other languages. This trend can be attributed to students' waning interest in learning Lampung, which is partly due to the lack of innovative teaching approaches. Additionally, the complexity of Lampung pronunciation, further complicated by the existence of Dialect A and Dialect O, presents another challenge. To address these issues, there is a need for accessible and easy-to-use audio-visual media, particularly those focused on folklore, which can be widely utilized by educators. This study employed a comparative descriptive approach to investigate the impact of folklore-based audio-visual media on students' proficiency in Lampung pronunciation. The research instruments included an observation sheet—designed by the researchers to assess students' pronunciation abilities—and an interview guide to gather insights into students' learning experiences and teachers' perspectives on the instructional process. The findings indicate that the implementation of folklore-based audio-visual media offers significant benefits in enhancing students' pronunciation skills in Lampung. This media aids students in understanding correct pronunciation, boosts learning motivation, increases self-confidence, and improves communication skills. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to select appropriate media tailored to students' proficiency levels and ensure that its use aligns with specific learning objectives to maximize educational outcomes.

Abstract

Background: Previous translation systems for the Lampung dialect of nyo to Indonesian achieved bilingual evaluation understudy (BLEU) scores below 40%, primarily due to challenges in processing affixed words. Objective: This research aims to perform stemming on affixed words in the Lampung dialect of nyo to enhance the performance of the translation system. Methods: We developed an n-gram stemming approach that reduces affixed words to their base forms by measuring similarity between n-grams using the Dice coefficient method. When similarity exceeds a specified threshold, the system identifies the corresponding base word. Results: Using a dataset of 700 words from the Lampung dialect of nyo, we constructed a comprehensive stemmer covering all affix variations. The optimal threshold was determined to be 0.5, achieving bigram accuracy of 93.86% and trigram accuracy of 89.14%. These accuracy levels demonstrate the method's effectiveness in identifying base word forms, which directly impacts translation quality improvement. Conclusion: N-gram stemming with a 0.5 threshold effectively processes the Lampung dialect of nyo morphology and shows potential for enhancing translation accuracy. This work represents the first comprehensive stemming system specifically designed for the Lampung dialect of nyo, contributing to the development of natural language processing tools for underrepresented regional languages in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and examine the feasibility and preliminary effectiveness of an animation-based learning medium integrated with Cooperative Learning for teaching Lampung folk tales in elementary schools. The study was motivated by low student achievement and the limited availability of culturally contextualized digital media in local language instruction. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the learning media was developed through the ADDIE model, encompassing Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The participants consisted of 25 fourth-grade students from SDN 3 Rajabasa, Bandar Lampung. Expert validation indicated a high level of feasibility, with an average score of 88%. Learning outcomes were examined using a one-group pretest–posttest design, revealing a substantial increase in students' scores from a mean of 48.4 to 93.2. Paired-sample t-test results showed a statistically significant improvement (p < 0.001), accompanied by a large effect size (Cohen's d = 3.40), suggesting a strong learning impact within the study context. Students also reported very positive responses to the learning experience, with an average satisfaction score of 4.9 out of 5. These findings indicate that animation-based cooperative learning media can effectively support student engagement, comprehension, and appreciation of Lampung cultural values. While the results are promising, they should be interpreted as preliminary due to the limited sample and research design. The study offers practical insights for developing culturally responsive digital learning resources aligned with Indonesia's Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) policy.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Lansia adalah seseorang yang telah mencapai usia 60 tahun keatas. Tekanan darah pada lansia akan cenderung tinggi sehingga lansia lebih besar berisiko terkena hipertensi. Angka kejadian hipertensi pada lansia terbanyak terdapat di Puskesmas Pauh Pariaman dengan jumlah 3.442 orang. Menurut Kemenkes RI (2022) prevalensi hipertensi pada lansia di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan dari tahun sebelumnya yaitu 45,9% menjadi 55,2%, menurut Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sumatera Barat, 2023 prevalensi hipertensi lansia di Sumatera Barat yakni mencapai 25,16% dengan jumlah 176.167 kasus, dan di Kota Pariaman terdapat jumlah kasus hipertensi sebesar 65,5%. Susu kedelai merupakan salah satu hasil olahan dari kacang kedelai yang dapat menurunkan tekanan darah tinggi. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Susu Kedelai Terhadap Tekanan Darah Lansia Hipertensi Di Kelurahan Pauh Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pauh Kota Pariaman. Metode : Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-Eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan one group pre-post test design. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Agustus hingga September 2025, dengan pengambilan data dilakukan pada 05-11 September 2025. Populasi penelitian adalah 88 lansia yang mengalami hipertensi di Desa Pauh Barat. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi yang di tetapkan sebanyak 20 sampel. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata nilai MAP (Mean Arterial Pressure) sebelum diberikan susu kedelai yaitu 108,71 (SD = 3,221), sedangkan setelah diberikan susu kedelai yaitu 101,14 (SD = 2,878). Uji T-Test menunjukkan nilai p=0,000, yang mengidentifikasikan adanya pengaruh susu kedelai terhadap tekanan darah lansia hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pauh Kota Pariaman

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore mathematical concepts embedded in six traditional cultural objects and to examine how these concepts can contribute to contextual mathematics learning through an ethnomathematical perspective. Method: This research employed a qualitative ethnomathematical approach to identify mathematical elements contained in selected cultural artifacts. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and literature analysis of six traditional cultural objects. Each object was examined to identify implicit mathematical structures, including geometric forms, symmetry, spatial relationships, numerical patterns, and proportional reasoning. The analysis focused on interpreting how these mathematical ideas are represented within the design, structure, and functional aspects of the cultural objects. Findings: The results reveal that the six cultural objects contain various mathematical concepts such as geometric shapes, symmetry, measurement, patterns, and proportional relationships. These concepts are reflected in the structural composition, decorative motifs, and spatial arrangements found within the artifacts. The analysis demonstrates that cultural objects can represent mathematical ideas in a concrete and meaningful way, making them relevant resources for mathematics learning. Significance: This study provides evidence that cultural artifacts contain valuable mathematical knowledge that can support culturally responsive mathematics education. The findings highlight the potential of ethnomathematics to bridge cultural knowledge and formal mathematics learning, thereby enhancing students’ conceptual understanding while fostering appreciation for local cultural traditions.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat literasi budaya Lampung di tengah masyarakat. Program ini berfokus pada pelestarian tradisi lisan Pepaccogh sebagai sastra lisan khas Lampung yang berasal dari Desa Negeri Katon Kabupaten Peswaran. Pepaccogh sarat nilai moral, adat, dan identitas budaya. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, kegiatan melibatkan masyarakat, pemuda, dan tokoh adat setempat. Rangkaian kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui penyuluhan, praktik membaca Pepaccogh, pendampingan, serta evaluasi hasil pelatihan dengan menggunakan instrumen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan 4,17 (kategori tinggi), yang mencerminkan peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi budaya peserta. Indikator dengan skor tertinggi (4,38) terdapat pada pernyataan “Pelatihan ini memberikan pengalaman berharga bagi saya dalam memahami budaya Lampung”, sedangkan skor terendah (3,75) muncul pada pernyataan “Saya dapat menjelaskan kembali apa itu Pepaccogh kepada orang lain.” Hal ini mengindikasikan perlunya penguatan kemampuan komunikasi budaya agar peserta lebih siap menjadi agen pelestari. Selain luaran berupa peningkatan kapasitas individu, kegiatan menghasilkan dokumentasi digital dan publikasi media sebagai bentuk keberlanjutan program. Secara keseluruhan, pengabdian ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan edukatif berbasis budaya lokal efektif menumbuhkan kesadaran budaya dan memperkuat identitas masyarakat. Program ini direkomendasikan untuk direplikasi di wilayah lain di Lampung sebagai model pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis kearifan lokal.
